Abstract
Description
この梱包体では、マイクロニードルシートはシート部材において形成され、さらに、形成されたときの状態を維持される。具体的には、マイクロニードルシートの複数のマイクロニードルはシート部材の複数のマイクロ凹部によって形成され、その後も複数のマイクロ凹部によって保護されている。つまり、マイクロニードルシートの複数のマイクロニードルが確実に保護される。
また、この梱包体は、マイクロニードルシートの本体の第2面に固定されさらに本体の周囲においてシート部材に固定されたシート状基材を有しているので、マイクロニードルシートが確実に保護される。
この梱包体では、シート状基材は、粘着材によって、マイクロニードルシート及びシート部材に固定されている。したがって、シート基材がマイクロニードルシート及びシート部材から剥がれにくい。また、シート状基材をシート部材から剥がすときにマイクロニードルシートを一緒に剥がし、その後にシート状基材及び粘着材を利用することでマイクロニードルシートを対象に貼ることができる。
この梱包体では、シート状基材をシート部材から剥がすときに、マイクロニードルシートがシート部材から確実に剥がれる。
この梱包体では、マイクロニードルの突起部の箇所ではシート状基材がシート部材に接触していないので、その部分においてシート状基材とシート部材の接着強度が低い。したがって、マイクロニードルシートの突起部の先端部分を手で持って引っ張ることで、シート状基材及びマイクロニードルシートをシート部材から容易に剥がせる。

この製造方法で製造された梱包体では、マイクロニードルシートはシート部材において形成され、形成されたときの状態を維持される。具体的には、マイクロニードルシートの複数のマイクロニードルはシート部材の複数のマイクロ凹部によって形成され、その後も複数のマイクロ凹部によって保護されている。つまり、マイクロニードルシートの複数のマイクロニードルが確実に保護される。
また、この梱包体は、個別マイクロニードルシートに対応して個別シート部材に固定された個別シート状基材を有しているので、個別マイクロニードルシートが保護される。
さらに、この製造方法では、複数の個別マイクロニードルシート単位で全体シート部材及びシート状基材を打ち抜くステップによって、複数のマイクロニードルシートの梱包体が一度に形成される。したがって、少ない工程で大量生産が可能になる。
この製造方法では、全体シート状基材は個別マイクロニードルシートの周囲において全体シート部材に固定されているので、最終打ち抜きステップによって、個別マイクロニードルシートの周囲において個別基材シートを個別シート部材に固定した状態にできる。これにより、個別マイクロニードルシートが外部の汚染から保護される。さらに、一連の工程において、材料をラフにハンドリングすることができ、これはマイクロニードルシートの生産力向上につながる。
(1)マイクロニードルシートの梱包体
図1及び図2を用いて、本実施形態のマイクロニードルシートの梱包体1を説明する。図1は、本発明の第1実施形態としてのマイクロニードルシートの梱包体の平面図である。図2は、図1のII-II断面図であり、マイクロニードルシートの梱包体の断面図である。
なお、以下の実施形態では一次梱包材内に収納されているマイクロニードルシートは単数であるが、複数のマイクロニードルシートが収納されていてもよい。
マイクロニードルシート5は、前述の一次梱包材によって梱包され、必要に応じて取り出されて使用される部材である。マイクロニードルシート5は、複数のマイクロニードル11が一面に形成されたシート形状の物品である。マイクロニードルシート5は、厚みが数百μm程度である。マイクロニードルシート5の平面形状は、図1に示すように、全体がなめらかに湾曲しており、三日月形状である。マイクロニードルシート5の形状は、円、楕円、三角形、四角形、正方形、勾玉形状でその他の形状でもよい。マイクロニードルシート5は、例えば、四角形の場合は、一辺数mmから数十mm程度である。
支持体7は、マイクロニードルシート5を支持するためのシートであり、例えば不織布のような通気性の良い材料である。支持体7は、マイクロニードルシート5の基体10の上面(第2面の一例)に固定されさらにその周囲において成形用シート3の上面に粘着されている。
なお、図2では、成形用シート3の上面において支持体7の外周部の粘着層9が固定される部分(外周部12に対応)には、マイクロ凹部13が形成されている。これにより、粘着層9の粘着面が少なくなり、それにより粘着力が維持される。ただし、上記部分にマイクロ凹部13が形成されていなくてもよい。
なお、粘着層9は、例えば、ゴム系材料、アクリル系材料、シリコーン系材料、ウレタン系材料からなる。
成形用シート3は、マイクロニードル11を成形するとともに成形後に保護するための部材である。成形用シート3は、マイクロニードルシート5の下面に張り合わされている。また、図2に示すように、成形用シート3の上面には、マイクロニードルシート5のマイクロニードル11を形成かつ収納するための複数のマイクロ凹部13が形成されている。なお、マイクロ凹部13は、上方に向かって開いた凹みであり、マイクロニードルシート5を貫通していない。
成形用シート3は、複数のマイクロ凹部13を形成する部材として用いられることを考慮して、例えば、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレンなどのポリオレフィン系樹脂からなる。つまり、成形用シート3は、粘着剤が再剥離可能な疎水性シートであることが好ましい。
さらに、時間を掛けて粘着層9とマイクロニードルシート5とをなじませる熟成を行うことで、両者の接着強度を高くしてもよい。
次に、図3を用いて、一次梱包体としての梱包体1を収容する二次梱包体19を説明する。二次梱包体19は、梱包部材21と、シールシート23とを有しており、両シートが張り合わされることで梱包体1を梱包している。
このようにして、シールシート23は、梱包体1を覆った状態で梱包部材21の内側の面に貼り合わされて、両者によって収納部21aを密封している。
この実施形態では、梱包体1は二次梱包体19内での位置決めは行われていないが、梱包体1はマイクロニードルシート5を保護する構造を有しているので、マイクロニードルシート5の複数のマイクロニードル11が確実に保護される。
梱包体1を二次梱包体19から取り出す際には、使用者は、図6に示すように、シールシート23を梱包部材21から剥がした後に、梱包体1を収納部21aから取り出す。これにより、複数のマイクロニードル11が成形用シート3に保護されたマイクロニードルシート5を得ることができる。
この結果、使用者は、支持体7とマイクロニードルシート5からなる支持体付きマイクロニードルシートを目的に応じて使用できるようになる。経皮投与用貼付剤の場合は、支持体付きマイクロニードルシートは人の皮膚に貼られる。その場合、支持体7の外周部が粘着層9によって皮膚に貼られ、マイクロニードルシート5のマイクロニードル11が皮膚に接触する。つまり、粘着層9は、支持体付きマイクロニードルシートを外部に取り出した後の粘着部分として機能する。
以上に述べたように、支持体付きマイクロニードルシートを剥がして貼るだけで目的が達成されるので、使用が簡単である。
図4~図23を用いて、マイクロニードルシートの梱包体1の製造方法を説明する。以下、複数の製造プロセスを説明する。
以下、ブランク107(全体成形用シート3A)に複数のマイクロ凹部13を形成するステップを説明する。
最初に、図4及び図5に示すように、成形用シート3を構成するブランク107を用意する。図4は、マイクロニードル成形用シートのブランクの斜視図である。図5は、マイクロニードル成形用シートのブランクの断面図である。図から明らかなように、ブランク107は、底面部109と、側面部111とを有している。底面部109は、例えば、四角形の平坦な板状部分である。側面部111は、底面部109の四辺から上方に延びる板状部分であり、凹部107aを形成している。なお、側面部111の上端には、全周にわたって折り返し部113が形成されている。折り返し部113は、断面において、凹部107aから外周側に延びさらに下方に延びている。
加熱室41では、ブランク107に対して成形前予備加熱が行われる。成形装置43は、ブランク107に対してマイクロ凹部13を成形する。冷却室45では、ブランク107に対して冷却が行われる。ブランク107は、各装置の間をコンベア46によって搬送される。
図9は、ブランクの成形後の状態を示す模式的断面図である。図に示すように、マイクロ凹部13は、例えば円錐形状又は角錐形状であり、図上側に向かって開いている。
図10~図11を用いて、ブランク107にマイクロニードル材料56を供給する工程を説明する。図10は、マイクロニードル成形用シートにマイクロニードル材料を滴下する工程を説明するための模式図である。図に示すように、分注機55が設けられている。分注機55は、マイクロニードル材料56を凹部107aに滴下充填する装置である。マイクロニードル材料56は、例えば、水などからなる溶媒に溶けたヒアルロン酸ナトリウムである。なお、溶媒としては、水の他、水溶性高分子が可溶する媒体が選択される。このように、底面部109にマイクロニードル材料を供給することで、図11に示すように、底面部109がマイクロニードル材料56によって覆われる。図11は、マイクロニードル材料が充填されたマイクロニードル成形用シートの模式的断面図である。なお、この実施形態では、マイクロニードル材料56はマイクロ凹部13内までは侵入しておらず、そのためマイクロ凹部13に空気が残っている場合があり、その場合は減圧脱気工程(図示せず)を追加してもよい。
以下、図16~図23を用いて梱包体1の製造方法を説明する。
図16、図17、図19、図21及び図22は、マイクロニードルシートの成形保護構造予備体から梱包体を製造する工程を説明するための模式的断面図である。図18、図20、図23は、マイクロニードルシートの成形保護構造予備体の平面図である。
以下、全体マイクロニードルシート5Aを所望の複数の個別マイクロニードルシート5が形成されるように打ち抜いて、次に不要部分を除去するするステップを説明する。
図21に示すように、全体成形用シート3Aに対応した平面が四角形状の全体支持体7Aを各マイクロニードルシート5に固定する。つまり、全体成形用シート3Aの全面にわたって、全体支持体7Aが貼り合わされる。なお、全体支持体7Aの下面全体には全体粘着層9Aが設けられている。
図22に示すように、切断装置149が用いられる。切断装置149は、プレス部150と、複数の切断刃151とを有している。切断刃151は、プレス部150の下面に設けられている。各切断刃151は、環状であり、切断刃147より径が大きい。プレス部150が下降して全体成形用シート3A及び全体支持体7Aに接近すると、切断刃151が、個別マイクロニードルシート5の外周において全体成形用シート3A及び全体支持体7Aを下面まで切断する。この結果、図23左側の図に示すように、複数の梱包体1が得られる。なお、図23の右側の図は廃棄物7Bである。廃棄物7Bでは、複数の梱包体1が抜け落ちた跡である抜け跡67が形成されている。
また、この梱包体1は、マイクロニードルシート5に対応して成形用シート3に固定された支持体7を有しているので、個別マイクロニードルシート5が保護される。
さらに、この製造法では、全体支持体7Aは個別マイクロニードルシート5の周囲において全体成形用シート3Aに固定されているので、最終の製品打ち抜きステップによって、個別マイクロニードルシート5の周囲において個別支持体7を個別成形用シート3に固定した状態にできる。これにより、個別マイクロニードルシート5が外部からの汚染から保護される。
前記第1実施形態では、マイクロニードルシート5の外周縁よりさらに外側の外周側部分は、支持体7が粘着層9を介して成形用シート3の上面に固定された構造によって全て周囲を囲まれていた。しかし、本発明は上記の構造に限定されない。以下、マイクロニードルシート5の外周側部分の他の構造を説明する。
図24及び図25に示すように、マイクロニードルシート5は、基体10からシート面方向に延びて、支持体7と成形用シート3との間に介在する突起部10Aを有している。図24は、本発明の第2実施形態としてのマイクロニードルシートの梱包体の平面図である。図25は、図24のXXV-XXV断面図であり、マイクロニードルシートの梱包体の断面図である。
具体的には、この梱包体では、マイクロニードルシート5の突起部10Aの箇所では支持体7(つまり粘着層9)が成形用シート3に接触していないので、外周部12においてその部分では成形用シート3と他の部材との接着強度が低い。したがって、マイクロニードルシート5の突起部10Aの縁(矢印B参照)を手で持って引っ張ることで、支持体7を成形用シート3から容易に剥がせる。特に、マイクロニードルシート5を直接つかむことができるので、マイクロニードルシート5が成形用シート3から確実に剥がれるようになる。
上記第1実施形態と第2実施形態は下記の点が共通である。
マイクロニードルシートの梱包体(例えば、梱包体1)は、マイクロニードルシート(例えば、マイクロニードルシート5)と、シート部材(例えば、成形用シート3)と、支持基材シート(例えば、支持体7)とを備えている。マイクロニードルシートは、本体(例えば、基体10)と、本体の第1面(例えば、下面)に形成された複数のマイクロニードル(例えば、マイクロニードル11)とを有する。シート部材は、本体の第1面に密着した状態であり、複数のマイクロニードルが収納された複数のマイクロ凹部(例えば、マイクロ凹部13)が形成されている。支持基材シートは、マイクロニードルシートの本体の第2面(例えば、上面)に固定されさらに本体の周囲においてシート部材に固定されている。
また、この梱包体は、マイクロニードルシートの本体の第2面に固定されさらに本体の周囲においてシート部材に固定されたシート状基材を有している(例えば、図1参照)ので、マイクロニードルシートが確実に保護される。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。特に、本明細書に書かれた複数の実施形態及び変形例は必要に応じて任意に組み合せ可能である。
