본 발명은 점착제 조성물, 점착필름, 광학부재 및 점착시트에 관한 것이다.
최근, 액정표시장치(LCD), 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(plasma display panel: PDP) 및 유기 EL 장치 등의 평판형 디스플레이(flat-panel display: FPD)의 사용이 확대되고 있다. 이에 따라서, 상기 FPD 등에 사용되는 점착제의 작업성 및 생산성의 향상이 요구되고 있다.
특허문헌 1에서는 아크릴계 공중합체 및 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 포함하는 점착성 재료에, 활성 에너지선을 조사해서 이루어지는 편광판용 점착제가 개시되어 있다. 상기 구성에 의한 광학 필름용 점착제 조성물은, 고온 및 고온 고습 조건 하에서도 내구성 및 광누설성이 우수한 것이 개시되어 있다.
특허문헌 2에서는 중량평균 분자량이 600,000 g/mol 내지 2,000,000 g/mol 이며, 중합체를 구성하는 모노머 단위로서, 질소원자를 갖는 모노머를 함유하는 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 중합체(A) 및 활성 에너지선 경화성 성분(B)을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 점착성 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 또한, 상기 특허문헌 1과는 달리 이소시아네이트계 가교제를 병용하는 일 없이 활성 에너지선을 조사한 후, 실용 점착 성능에 도달할 때까지의 숙성 시간이 반나절 정도인 것이 개시되어 있다. 이러한 구성에 의해서, 광학 필름용 점착제 조성물은, 고온 및 고온 고습 조건 하에서도 내구성이 우수한 것이 개시되어 있다.
그러나 상기 특허문헌 1에 기재된 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층은, 활성 에너지선을 조사한 후, 실용 점착 성능에 도달할 때까지 10일의 긴 숙성 시간을 필요로 하고, 생산성이 낮다는 문제가 있었다. 또 이소시아네이트계 가교제(이소시아네이트계 경화제)를 병용하므로, 상기 이소시아네이트계 가교제 중의 미반응 모노머가 작업자의 호흡기에 부여하는 위험성을 무시할 수는 없다. 또한, 포트 라이프(pot life)가 짧으므로, 생산성의 점에 있어서도 과제를 남기고 있었다.
또한, 상기 특허문헌 2에 기재된 점착제 조성물은 이소시아네이트계 가교제를 병용하지 않지만, 이소시아네이트의 삼량체인 이소시아누레이트를 포함하는 구조(이소시아누레이트 구조)를 지니는 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 채용하고 있다. 상기 이소시아누레이트 구조를 지니는 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물은 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체와의 반응성이 낮기 때문에, 활성 에너지선을 조사한 후, 실용 점착 성능에 도달할 때까지 반나절 정도를 여전히 필요로 하고 있었다. 본 발명에 대한 선행기술로는 일본 공개특허공보 제2006-235568호(특허문헌 1) 및 일본 공개특허공보 제2013-203899호(특허문헌 2)가 있다.
본 발명의 하나의 목적은 포트 라이프가 길고 작업성이 우수한 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 목적은 보다 짧은 숙성 시간에 실용 점착 성능에 도달함 으로서, 생산성이 우수한 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 내광누설성 및 내구성이 우수한 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 상기 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비한 광학부재를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 상기 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비한 점착시트를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명자들은, 상기 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 예의 연구를 행한 결과, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, 광중합개시제, 실란 커플링제 및 이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함하는 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물에 의해서 상기 과제가 해결되는 것을 찾아내어, 본 발명을 완성하기에 이르렀다.
본 발명의 하나의 관점은, 점착필름에 관한 것이다. 한 구체예에서 상기 점착필름은 (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, (B) 광중합개시제 및 (C) 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함하며, 하기 식 1에 의한 겔분율 차이의 절대값이 약 10% 이하인 것을 특징으로 한다:

본 발명의 다른 관점은 점착제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 한 구체예에서 상기 점착제 조성물은 (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 100 중량부; (B) 광중합개시제 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부; 및 (C) 이소시아네이트기를 포함하지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부를 포함한다.

구체예에서 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는 중량평균분자량이 약 500,000 g/mol 내지 약 2,000,000 g/mol 일 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 점착제 조성물은 25℃에서 측정한 점도가 약 300 mPa·s 내지 약 7000mPa·s 일 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 점착제 조성물은 점착 가공으로부터 1 시간 경과 후 측정된 겔 분율이 약 70% 이상일 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 점착제 조성물의 점착 가공 후, 23℃ 및 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 7 일 동안 보존한 후의 겔 분율은, 점착 가공으로부터 1 시간 후의 겔 분율의 약 95% 내지 약 105% 일 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 관점은 전술한 점착필름, 또는 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비하는 광학부재에 관한 것이다.
구체예에서 상기 점착제층의 점착력은 약 1 N/25mm 내지 약 6 N/25mm 일 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 광학부재는, 상기 점착필름 또는 점착제층이 편광판 상에 형성되어 이루어진 것일 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 관점은 전술한 점착필름, 또는 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비하는 점착시트에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따르면, 포트 라이프가 길어 작업성이 우수하며, 짧은 숙성 시간에 실용 점착 성능에 도달함으로써 생산성이 우수하고, 또한, 내광누설성 및 내구성이 우수한 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물을 제공할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명의 실시형태를 설명한다. 또한 본 발명은, 이하의 실시형태만으로 한정되는 것은 아니다. 또한 본 명세서에 있어서 “메타)아크릴레이트” 및 “(메타)아크릴산”이란, “아크릴레이트” 및 “메타아크릴레이트”의 총칭이다. “(메타)아크릴산” 등의 (메타)를 포함하는 화합물 등도 마찬가지로, 명칭 중에 “메타”를 지니는 화합물과 “메타”를 지니지 않는 화합물의 총칭이다.
또한, 본 명세서에 있어서, 범위를 나타내는 “X 내지 Y”는 “X 이상 Y 이하”를 의미한다. 또한 특별히 기술하지 않는 한, 조작 및 물성 등의 측정은 실온(20℃ 내지 25℃)/상대습도 40% 내지 50%의 조건에서 측정한다.
점착필름
본 발명의 하나의 측면은 점착필름에 관한 것이다. 상기 점착필름은 (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, (B) 광중합개시제 및 (C) 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함한다. 예를 들면, 상기 점착필름은 후술할 (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, (B) 광중합개시제 및 (C) 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함하는 점착제 조성물로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 점착필름은 하기 식 1에 의한 겔분율 차이의 절대값이 약 10% 이하이다:

상기와 같은 겔분율 절대값 차이를 갖는 경우, 실용 점착 성능 및 안정성이 우수할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 0% 내지 10% 일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 0% 내지 5% 일 수 있다. 또 다른 예를 들면 0% 내지 3% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 또는 10% 일 수 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 점착필름은 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후, 23℃ 및 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 7일 숙성시킨 시점의 겔분율이 약 65% 내지 약 92% 일 수 있다. 상기 범위의 겔분율을 갖는 경우, 장기간에 걸쳐 안정적인 실용 점착 성능을 보유할 수 있으며, 안정성이 우수할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 69% 내지 약 88% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 또는 92% 일 수 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 점착필름의 두께(건조 후의 두께)는, 약 1㎛ 내지 약 10mm 일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 5㎛ 내지 약 1.5mm 일 수 있다.
상기 활성 에너지선은 자외선이나 전자선 등을 사용할 수 있다. 상기 활성 에너지선이 자외선인 경우 고압수은 램프, 무전극 램프, 제논램프, 메탈 할라이드 램프 등을 광원으로서 이용할 수 있고, 전자선인 경우 전자선 가속기 등을 광원으로서 이용할 수 있다.
활성 에너지선 조사 처리에 있어서 활성 에너지선의 조사량은 약 50mJ/㎠ 내지 약 1000mJ/㎠ 일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서 상기 점착필름 구성 성분에 포함되는 에틸렌성 이중 결합의 반응을 충분히 발생시킬 수 있고, 환경변화에 노출된 경우에 대하여 내구성이나, 소망의 점착제 특성을 얻을 수 있으며, 점착제층이나 기재를 파괴하는 일 없이 가교를 행할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 100mJ/㎠ 내지 약 700mJ/㎠의 조사량에서 조사할 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 120mJ/㎠ 내지 약 500mJ/㎠의 조사량에서 조사할 수 있다.
구체예에서 메탈 할라이드 램프를 이용해서 자외선을 점착제 조성물에 조사하는 경우 약 500mW/㎠ 내지 약 2,000mW/㎠로 조사할 수 있다. 조사 시간은 임의로 설정하면 되지만, 예를 들어, 약 1초 내지 약 10초 동안 조사를 행하면 된다. 조사 처리 시의 분위기는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 공기 중에서 행해도 되지만, 공기 중의 산소의 영향을 받지 않고 광경화를 진행시킬 수 있다는 관점에서, 질소 가스나 아르곤 가스 등의 불활성 가스 분위기 하에서 행해도 된다. 또한, 조사 처리는 실온에서 행해도 되고, 약 40℃ 내지 약 80℃로 가온시킨 스테이지 상에서 행할 수도 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 점착필름은 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A); 광중합개시제(B); 및 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C);를 포함할 수 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 점착필름은 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부; 광중합개시제(B) 0.05 중량부 내지 4 중량부; 및 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C) 0.05 중량부 내지 5 중량부를 포함할 수 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)는 이소시아네이트기를 포함하지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제일 수 있다.
점착제 조성물
본 발명의 다른 측면은, 100 중량부의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부의 광중합개시제, 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 0.5 중량부의 실란 커플링제 및 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부의 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함하는 점착제 조성물이다. 이러한 조성의 점착제 조성물은, 이소시아네이트계 가교제나 이소시아누레이트 구조를 지니는 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 병용하지 않더라도, 포트 라이프가 길고 작업성이 우수하다. 또한, 종래의 점착제 조성물에서는, 실용 점착 성능에 도달할 때까지 반나절 정도의 숙성을 필요로 하고 있었지만, 본 발명에 따르면, 약 1 시간 이내의 숙성에서도 실용 점착 성능을 얻을 수 있으므로, 생산성이 우수하다. 또, 본 발명에 따른 점착제 조성물에 의해 형성된 점착제층은 내광누설성 및 내구성도 우수하다.
따라서, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 각종 피도착체의 접착에 유효하여, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층은, 특히 광학부재나 점착시트의 점착제층으로서 적절하게 사용할 수 있다.

메타
)아크릴산계 중합체
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「(메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (A)」라고도 칭함)를 포함한다.
본 발명에 있어서의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체로서는, 카르복실기, 하이드록시기 및 아미노기 등의 가교점을 지니는 것이 이용된다. 이러한 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체로서는 특별히 제한되는 것은 아니고, 종래 점착제 조성물에 이용되어 온 것으로부터 적절하게 선택해서 이용할 수 있다. 특히, 하기의 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1)와, 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3) 중 적어도 하나로 이루어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체를 이용할 수 있다.

상기 조성의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는, 후술할 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)와의 가교점을 적절하게 지닌다. 따라서, 가교도가 지나치게 높은 것에 의한 점착제층의 발포나 광누설을 방지하고, 가교도가 지나치게 낮은 것에 의한 점착제층의 내구성의 저하를 유효하게 방지할 수 있다.

본 발명의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)에는, 상기 성분 (a-1) 내지 (a-3) 이외에도, 이들과 공중합 가능한 기타 모노머를 또한 이용할 수도 있다. 예를 들면 글리시딜(메타)아크릴레이트 및 메틸글리시딜(메타)아크릴레이트 등의 에폭시기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; 다이메틸아미노에틸(메타)아크릴레이트, 다이에틸아미노에틸(메타)아크릴레이트, N-tert-부틸아미노에틸(메타)아크릴레이트 및 메타크릴옥시에틸트라이메틸암모늄클로라이드 (메타)아크릴레이트 등의 아미노기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; (메타)아크릴아마이드, N-메틸올(메타)아크릴아마이드, N-메톡시메틸(메타)아크릴아마이드, N,N-메틸렌비스(메타)아크릴아마이드 등의 아마이드기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; 2-메타크릴로일옥시에틸다이페닐포스페이트 (메타)아크릴레이트, 트라이메타크릴로일옥시에틸포스페이트 (메타)아크릴레이트 및 트라이아크릴로일옥시에틸포스페이트 (메타)아크릴레이트 등의 인산기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; 설포프로필(메타)아크릴레이트나트륨, 2-설포에틸(메타)아크릴레이트나트륨, 2-아크릴아마이드-2-메틸프로판설폰산나트륨 등의 설폰산기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; 우레탄(메타)아크릴레이트 등의 우레탄기를 지니는 아크릴 모노머; p-tert-부틸페닐(메타)아크릴레이트 및 o-바이페닐(메타)아크릴레이트 등의 페닐기를 지니는 아크릴비닐모노머; 2-아세토아세톡시에틸(메타)아크릴레이트, 비닐트라이메톡시실란, 비닐트라이에톡시실란, 비닐트리스(β-메톡시에틸)실란, 비닐트라이아세틸실란 및 메타크릴로일옥시프로필트라이메톡시실란 등의 실란기를 지니는 비닐 모노머; 스타이렌, 클로로스타이렌, α-메틸스타이렌, 비닐톨루엔, 염화비닐, 아세트산비닐, 프로피온산비닐, 아크릴로나이트릴 및 비닐피리딘 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 기타 모노머는 단독으로 사용해도 되고 2종 이상 조합시켜서 사용해도 된다.
구체예에서 상기 기타 모노머는 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 전체중량에 대하여 약 10 중량% 이하로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 범위로 포함시 점착성이 우수할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 5 중량% 이하로 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면, 약 0 중량% 내지 약 5 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 또는 10 중량%로 포함될 수 있다.
한 구체에에서 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1) 약 90 중량부 내지 약 99.5 중량부, 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 약 0.5 중량부 내지 약 10 중량부 및 잔량부의 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3)를 포함할 수 있다(단, 상기 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머, 카르복실기 함유 모노머 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머의 합계량은 100 중량부 이다). 상기 조성의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는, 후술할 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)와의 가교점을 적절하게 지닌다. 따라서, 가교도가 지나치게 높은 것에 의한 점착제층의 발포나 광누설을 방지하고, 가교도가 지나치게 낮은 것에 의한 점착제층의 내구성의 저하를 유효하게 방지할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는 상기 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1) 약 97 중량부 내지 약 99.5 중량부, 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 약 0.5 중량부 내지 약 3 중량부 및 잔량부의 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3)를 포함할 수 있다(단, 상기 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머, 카르복실기 함유 모노머 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머의 합계량은 100 중량부 이다).
상기 성분 (A)의 제조 방법은, 특별히 제한되지 않고, 중합 개시제를 사용하는 용법, 유화 중합법, 현탁 중합법, 역상현탁 중합법, 박막중합법, 분무중합법 등 종래 공지의 방법을 이용할 수 있다. 중합 제어 방법으로서는 단열중합법, 온도제어 중합법, 등온 중합법 등을 들 수 있다. 또한, 중합 개시제에 의해 중합을 개시시키는 방법 이외에, 방사선, 전자선, 자외선 등을 조사해서 중합을 개시시키는 방법을 채용하는 것도 가능하다. 예를 들면 중합 개시제를 사용하는 용액 중합법이, 분자량의 조절이 용이하고, 또 불순물도 적게 할 수 있으므로 사용될 수 있다. 구체예에서 용제로는 아세트산에틸, 톨루엔, 메틸에틸케톤 등을 이용할 수 있다.
예를 들면 모노머의 합계량 100 중량부에 대하여 중합 개시제를 약 0.01 중량부 내지 약 0.50 중량부 첨가하여, 질소분위기 하에서 반응 온도 약 60℃ 내지 약 90℃에서 약 3 시간 내지 약 10 시간 반응시킴으로써 얻어진다. 구체예에서 상기 중합 개시제로는 아조비스이소부티로나이트릴(AIBN), 2,2´-아조비스(2-메틸부티로나이트릴), 아조비스시아노발레르산 등의 아조화합물; tert-부틸퍼옥시피발레이트, tert-부틸퍼옥시벤조에이트, tert-부틸퍼옥시-2-에틸헥사노에이트, 다이-tert-부틸퍼옥사이드, 큐멘하이드로퍼옥사이드, 벤조일퍼옥사이드, tert-부틸하이드로퍼옥사이드 등의 유기 과산화물; 과산화수소, 과황산암모늄, 과황산칼륨, 과황산나트륨 등의 무기 과산화물을 들 수 있다. 이들은 단독으로 이용해도 되고 2종 이상 병용해도 된다.
상기 성분 (A)의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 약 500,000 g/mol 내지 약 2,000,000 g/mol 일 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 1,000,000 g/mol 내지 약 1,800,000 g/mol 일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 1,200,000 g/mol 내지 약 1,600,000 g/mol 일 수 있다. 상기 중량평균 분자량은 약 500,000 g/mol 이상이면 내구성이 높아진다. 한편, 중량평균 분자량이 약 2,000,000 g/mol 이하이면 접합성이 향상된다. 또한 본 발명에 있어서, 중량평균 분자량은, 실시예에 기재된 겔 침투 크로마토그래피에 의해 측정한 폴리스티렌 환산 값을 채용하는 것으로 한다.
상기 성분 (A)는 단독으로 사용하거나, 2종 이상을 조합하여 사용할 수 있다.
(B)
광중합개시제
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 광중합개시제(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「광중합개시제(B)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (B)」라고도 칭함)를 포함한다. 점착제 조성물에 포함되는 광중합개시제는, 후술하는 점착제 조성물에 대한 광조사 공정에 있어서 라디칼을 생성하고, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체나 후술하는 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물의 에틸렌성 이중 결합의 반응성을 높인다. 점착제 조성물이 광중합개시제를 포함함으로써, 단시간의 숙성에서 실용 점착 성능을 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명의 기술적 범위를 제한하는 것은 아니지만, 광중합개시제를 포함하는 점착제 조성물은, 이소시아네이트계 경화제 등을 이용한 열가교계 점착제 조성물과 비교해서 중합 속도가 빠르기 때문인 것으로 여겨진다.
구체예에서 상기 광중합개시제로는, 4-페녹시다이클로로아세토페논, 4-t-부틸다이클로로아세토페논, 4-t-부틸트라이클로로아세토페논, 다이에톡시아세토페논, 2-하이드록시-2-메틸-1-페닐-프로판-1-온, 1-(4-이소프로필페닐)-2-하이드록시-2-메틸-프로판-1-온, 1-(4-도데실페닐)-2-하이드록시-2-메틸프로판-1-온, 4-(2-하이드록시에톡시)-페닐-(2-하이드록시-2-프로필)케톤, 1-하이드록시-사이클로헥실페닐케톤, 2-메틸-1-[4-(메틸티오)페닐]-2-몰폴리노-프로판-1, 벤조인, 벤조인메틸에테르, 벤조인에틸에테르, 벤조인이소프로필에테르, 벤조인이소부틸에테르, 벤질다이메틸케탈, 벤조페논, 벤조일벤조산, 벤조일벤조산메틸, 4-페닐벤조페논, 하이드록시벤조페논, 4-벤조일-4´-메틸다이페닐설파이드, 3,3´-메틸-4-메톡시벤조페논, 3,3´,4,4´-테트라키스(tert-부틸퍼옥시카보닐)벤조페논, 2,2-비스-2-클로로페닐-4,5,4,5-테트라페닐-2,1,2-바이이미다졸, 2,2-비스(2,4,6-트라이시아노페닐)-4,4,5,5-테트라페닐-1,2-바이이미다졸, 비스(2,4,6-트라이메틸벤조일)-페닐포스핀옥사이드, 메틸페닐글라이옥실레이트, 벤질, 9,10-페난트렌퀴논, 캠퍼 퀴논, 다이벤조수베론, 2-에틸안트라퀴논, 2-이소프로필티옥산톤 등의 아세토페논계 화합물, 벤조인계 화합물, 벤조페논계 화합물, 트라이아진계 화합물, 이미다졸계 화합물 등을 단독 또는 2 이상 조합시켜서 사용할 수 있다.
상기 광중합개시제는 합성해도 되고 시판품을 사용해도 된다. 광중합개시제의 시판품으로서는, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 369, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 784, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 651, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 184, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 500, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 1000, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 149, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 819, 이르가큐어(등록상표) 261 등의 이르가큐어(등록상표) 시리즈, 다로큐어(등록상표) 1173 등의 다로큐어(등록상표) 시리즈(이상, 바스프 재팬 주식회사 제품) 등을 예시할 수 있다.
성분 (B)는 상기 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부(고형분비) 포함된다. 성분 (B)가 약 0.05 중량부 미만으로 포함시 UV조사 등에 의한 활성 에너지 조사 처리 후에도 가교가 충분히 진행되지 않는다. 상기 성분 (B)가 약 4 중량부를 초과하여 포함시, 가교가 과도하게 진행되므로 점착제층의 응력이 저하하고, 고온보존 시에 있어서의 편광자의 수축에 추종할 수 없고, 광누설의 발생하거나 내구성이 저하될 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 3.5 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 0.5 중량부 내지 약 3 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 또는 4 중량부 포함될 수 있다.
(C)
카보다이이미드계
경화제
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (C)」라고도 칭함)를 포함한다. 이소시아네이트기는 -N=C=O로 표시되는 기이다. 종래, 점착제 조성물에는 이소시아네이트계 경화제가 이용되는 일이 많았지만, 이소시아네이트계 경화제에 의한 가교 반응은 열에 의해 활성화되므로 진행이 느려, 숙성 시간에 장시간을 요하고 있었다. 또한, 미반응의 모노머가 작업자의 건강에 대해서 악영향을 미칠 위험이 있었다. 본 발명에 있어서는, 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 이용함으로써, 숙성 시간이 단시간이 될 뿐만 아니라, 안전성의 면으로부터도 이점이 있다. 또한, 점착제 조성물을 편광판에 이용하는 경우, 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 이용함으로써, 점착제층과 편광판의 밀착성을 개선할 수 있다.
또, 점착제 조성물의 포트 라이프가 짧아지는 것과 작업자의 안전을 고려해서, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은 이소시아네이트계 경화제를 포함하지 않을 수 있다.
카보다이이미드계 경화제 중에는, 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 바와 같은 이소시아네이트기를 지니는 것(예를 들어, 카보디라이트(등록상표) V-01(닛신보케미컬 주식회사))도 존재한다:

이소시아네이트기를 지니는 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 점착제 조성물에 이용한 경우, 포트 라이프가 짧아진다. 이것은, 이소시아네이트계 경화제와 같이 실온이어도 서서히 가교 반응이 진행되기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 한편, 본 발명에서는 이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 이용함으로써, 포트 라이프가 길고 작업성이 우수한 것이 된다. 본 발명의 기술적 범위를 제한하는 것은 아니지만, 이것은, UV 조사 등에 의해 활성 에너지 조사 처리를 행할 때까지는 가교 반응이 진행되지 않기 때문인 것으로 생각된다.
본 발명에서 이용되는 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어, 카보다이이미드기(-N=C=N-)를 분자 내에 2개 이상 지니는 화합물(폴리카보다이이미드)이 사용될 수 있다. 또는 공지의 폴리카보다이이미드를 이용하는 것이 가능하다.
본 명세서에 있어서 「이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제」란, 카보다이이미드계 경화제 중에 존재하는 이소시아네이트기량을 중량분율로 표시한 NCO 함유율(%)이, 실질적으로 0%인 것을 말한다. 구체적으로는, JIS K1603-1(2007)에 준해서 측정한 NCO 함유율이 약 0.5% 미만인 카보다이이미드계 경화제가 이용된다.
성분 (C)는 합성해도 되고 시판품을 사용해도 된다. 이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제의 시판품으로서는, 카보디라이트(등록상표) V-03(NCO 함유율: 0%), 카보디라이트(등록상표) V-09(NCO 함유율: 0%)(이상, 닛신보케미컬 주식회사) 등을 예시할 수 있다.
성분 (C)는 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부(고형분비) 포함된다. 상기 성분 (C)가 약 0.05 중량부 미만으로 포함시 접착제층의 기재에 대한 밀착성이 저하되고, 피도착체의 오염성이 증가하거나 리워크성이 저하되므로, 피도착체인 액정셀 등에 접합된 후 접합 미스 등에 의해 박리시킬 필요가 발생하는 경우, 광학부재 등의 생산 수율을 저하시키는 원인이 될 수 있다. 또한, 성분 (C)가 약 5 중량부를 초과하여 포함시 가교가 과도하게 진행되므로, 광누설의 발생이나 내구성 저하를 일으키는 것으로 된다. 예를 들면 성분 (C)는 약 0.07 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 2.8 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 또는 5 중량부 포함될 수 있다. 상기 성분 (C)는 단독으로 사용하거나, 2종 이상을 조합하여 사용할 수 있다.

커플링제
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 실란 커플링제(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「실란 커플링제(D)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (D)」라고도 칭함)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 실란 커플링제를 사용함으로써, 점착제층의 기계적 강도가 향상되어, 내구성이 우수한 점착제층을 얻을 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 실란 커플링제로는 메틸트라이메톡시실란, 다이메틸다이메톡시실란, 트라이메틸메톡시실란, n-프로필트라이메톡시실란, 에틸트라이메톡시실란, 다이에틸다이에톡시실란, n-부틸트라이메톡시실란, n-헥실트라이에톡시실란, n-옥틸트라이메톡시실란, 페닐트라이메톡시실란, 다이페닐다이메톡시실란, 사이클로헥실메틸다이메톡시실란, 비닐트라이클로로실란, 비닐트라이메톡시실란, 비닐트라이에톡시실란, 비닐트리스(β-메톡시에톡시)실란, 3-글라이시독시프로필메틸다이에톡시실란, β-(3,4-에폭시사이클로헥실)에틸트라이메톡시실란, γ-글라이시독시프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-글라이시독시프로필트라이에톡시실란, γ-메타크릴옥시프로필메틸다이메톡시실란, γ-메타크릴옥시프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-메타크릴옥시프로필메틸다이에톡시실란, γ-메타크릴옥시프로필트라이에톡시실란, γ-아크릴옥시프로필트라이메톡시실란, N-β-(아미노에틸)-γ-아미노프로필메틸다이메톡시실란, N-β-(아미노에틸)-γ-아미노프로필트라이메톡시실란, N-β-(아미노에틸)-γ-아미노프로필트라이에톡시실란, γ-아미노프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-아미노프로필트라이에톡시실란, N-페닐-γ-아미노프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-클로로프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-머캅토프로필트라이메톡시실란, γ-머캅토프로필메틸다이메톡시실란 및 비스-(3-(트라이에톡시실릴)프로필)테트라설파이드 등을 들 수 있다.
또한 에폭시기(글라이시독시기), 아미노기, 머캅토기, (메타)아크릴로일기 등의 작용기를 지니는 실란 커플링제와, 이들의 작용기와 반응성을 지니는 작용기를 함유하는 실란 커플링제 및 다른 커플링제 등을, 각 작용기에 대해서 임의의 비율로 반응시켜서 얻어지는 가수분해성 실릴기를 지니는 화합물도 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서는, 실란 커플링제로서 실란 커플링제 알콕시올리고머(실란 커플링제 올리고머)를 이용해도 된다. 상기 실란 커플링제 알콕시올리고머는, 적어도 알콕시기를 지니는 실란화합물이 2개 이상 축합하여 -Si-O-Si-구조를 형성하고, 그 규소원자에는 적어도 1개의 알콕시기가 결합하고, 또한, 분자 내에 유기 작용기를 지니는 화합물이다. 상기 실란 커플링제 알콕시올리고머는, 알콕시기를 지님으로써, 액정 패널 등에 사용되는 유리에 대한 밀착성이 발현된다. 또한, 유기 작용기를 지님으로써, 상기 실란 커플링제 알콕시올리고머는, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체와의 상용성 및 밀착성이 우수하여, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체에서 소위 앵커(anchor) 효과를 나타낼 수 있다. 단, 본 발명은 이러한 고찰에 의해 제한되는 것은 아니다.
상기 실란 커플링제 알콕시올리고머의 유기 작용기로는 비닐기, 에폭시기, 스타이릴기, (메타)아크릴로일기, 메타크릴옥시기, 아크릴옥시기, 아미노기, 우레이도기, 클로로프로필기, 머캅토기 및 폴리설파이드기 등을 들 수 있다. 예를 들면 얻어지는 점착제층의 내구성 향상 및 저점착성 실현을 양립시키기 위해서 에폭시기, 머캅토기 및 (메타)아크릴로일기 등을 가질 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 에폭시기 및 머캅토기를 가질 수 있다.
상기 실란 커플링제 올리고머는, 1 분자 내의 규소원자수가 2인 이중체이므로, 1 분자 내의 규소원자수가 100 정도까지, 즉, 평균 중합도가 약 2 내지 약 100인 것을 이용할 수 있다. 평균 중합도가 커지면, 실란 커플링제 올리고머의 점도가 높아져, 페이스트 형태 또는 고체 형태가 될 경우가 있으므로, 취급이 어렵게 된다. 예를 들면 상기 평균 중합도는 약 2 내지 약 80일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 3 내지 약 50 일 수 있다.
실란 커플링제 올리고머 중에 포함되는 유기 작용기는, 통상 적당한 연결 기를 개재해서 규소원자에 결합한다. 구체예에서 상기 연결기로는 메틸렌기, 에틸렌기, 트라이메틸렌기, 헥사메틸렌기, 데카메틸렌기 등의 알킬렌기, 메틸페닐에틸기 등의 방향족환을 사이에 지니는 2가의 탄화수소기, 메톡시메틸기, 메톡시에틸기, 메톡시프로필기 등의 산소원자를 사이에 지니는 2가의 지방족 기 등이 있다. 구체에에서 상기 유기 작용기가 에폭시기일 경우에는, 환을 구성하는 이웃하는 2개의 탄소원자 간에 작용기가 형성되어 있어도 된다.
상기 실란 커플링제 올리고머로서는, 특별히 한정되는 것은 아니지만, 예를 들어, 전술한 실란화합물의 단독중합체나 공중합체 등을 들 수 있다.
상기 실란 커플링제는 합성해도 되고 시판품을 사용해도 된다. 실란 커플링제의 시판품으로서는, 예를 들어, 신에츠 실리콘(등록상표) KBM-303, KBM-403, KBE-402, KBM-403, KBE-502, KBE-503, KBM-5103, KBM-573, KBM-802, KBM-803, KBE-846, X-41-1805(머캅토기, 메톡시기 및 에톡시기를 지니는 실란 커플링제 올리고머), X-41-1810(머캅토기, 메틸기 및 메톡시기를 지니는 실란 커플링제 올리고머), X-41-1053(에폭시기, 메톡시기 및 에톡시기를 지니는 실란 커플링제 올리고머), X-41-1058(에폭시기, 메틸기 및 메톡시기를 지니는 실란 커플링제 올리고머)(이상, 신에츠카가쿠코교 주식회사 제품) 등을 들 수 있다.
예를 들면 실란 커플링제로 상기 KBM-303, KBM-403, KBE-402, KBM-403, KBM-5103, KBM-573, KBM-802, KBM-803, KBE-846, X-41-1805 및 X-41-1810 등을 사용할 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 실란 커플링제로 상기 KBM-403 및 X-41-1810 등을 사용할 수 있다. 또, 상기 실란 커플링제는 단독으로 사용하거나, 2종 이상을 조합하여 사용할 수 있다.
성분 (D)는 상기 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 0.5 중량부(고형분비)로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 범위로 포함시, 본 발명의 점착제층의 내구성 및 내광누설성이 우수할 수 있다. 예를 들면 성분 (D)는 약 0.07 중량부 내지 약 0.45 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 0.3 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 또는 5 중량부 포함될 수 있다.

에너지선
경화형 화합물
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(E)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (E)」라고도 칭함)을 더 포함할 수 있다. 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 포함하지 않는 경우에도, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)에 유래하는 미반응의 에틸렌성 이중 결합이 존재하므로, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리에 의해서 점착성이 부여될 수 있다. 그러나, 상기 점착제 조성물이 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 포함함으로써, 상기 광중합개시제(B)에 의해서 활성화되는 에틸렌성 이중 결합의 점착제 조성물 중에 있어서의 존재량이 안정적이므로, 점착제 조성물의 품질관리의 관점에서 이점이 있다. 또한, 점착제 조성물이 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 포함함으로써, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후의 겔 분율이 향상된다.
본 발명의 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물은, 다작용성 (메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머를 사용할 수 있다. 이러한 다작용성 (메타)아크릴레이트계 모노머로서는, 에틸렌글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 다이에틸렌글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 트라이에틸렌글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 폴리에틸렌글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트(n=4 내지 20), 에톡시화 비스페놀 A 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 트라이사이클로데칸다이메탄올 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 1,6-헥산다이올 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 1,9-노난다이올 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 네오펜틸글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 글라이세린 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 펜타에리트리톨 트라이(메타)아크릴레이트, 트라이메틸올프로판 트라이(메타)아크릴레이트, 다이트라이이메틸올프로판 테트라(메타)아크릴레이트, 펜타에리트리톨 트라이(메타)아크릴레이트, 펜타에리트리톨 테트라(메타)아크릴레이트, 다이메틸올-트라이사이클로데칸다이아크릴레이트, 다이펜타에리트리톨 펜타(메타)아크릴레이트, 다이펜타에리트리톨 헥사(메타)아크릴레이트, 네오펜틸글라이콜 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 3-메틸-1,5-펜타다이올 다이(메타)아크릴레이트, 2-하이드록시-3-아크릴로일옥시프로필메타크릴레이트 및 트리스(2-(메타)아크릴로일옥시에틸)이소시아누레이트 등을 예시할 수 있다.
성분 (E)는 합성해도 되고 시판품을 사용해도 된다. 구체예에서 상기 시판품은 NK에스테르 A-HD-N, NK에스테르 A-TMPT, NK에스테르 AD-TMPT, NK에스테르 APG-100, NK에스테르 A-DPH, NK에스테르 A-TMMT, NK에스테르 TMPT 등의 NK에스테르 시리즈(신나카무라코교 주식회사), 라이트 아크릴레이트 3EG-A, 라이트 아크릴레이트 4EG-A, 라이트 아크릴레이트 9EG-A, 라이트 아크릴레이트 14EG-A, 라이트 아크릴레이트 NP-A, 라이트 아크릴레이트 MPD-A 등의 라이트 아크릴레이트 시리즈(쿄에이샤카가쿠 주식회사), M-220, M-225, M-240, M-309, M-313, M-315 등의 아로닉스(등록상표) 시리즈(토아고세이 주식회사) 등을 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에 사용되는 상기 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물은 이소시아누레이트 구조를 지니지 않을 수 있다. 상기 이소시아누레이트 구조란, 이소시아네이트의 삼량화 반응에 의해서 생기는, 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 구조를 말한다:

상기 이소시아누레이트 구조를 지니지 않는 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물을 이용함으로써, 포트 라이프가 길어지는 효과를 가질 수 있다. 예를 들면 상기 이소시아누레이트 구조의 유무는 이소시아누레이트 구조의 카보닐 1,690cm-1 내지 1,700cm-1을 FT-IR에 의해 측정하는 등의 수단에 의해 분석할 수 있다. 본 발명에서는, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물의 구조가 직쇄 또는 분기쇄 형상인 것을 이용할 수 있다.
상기 성분 (E)는 상기 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0 중량부 초과 약 9 중량부 이하(고형분비)로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 범위로 포함시 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후의 겔 분율이 향상되고, 과도하게 가교가 진행되어 광누설이 발생하거나 내구성이 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 1 중량부 내지 약 8 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 1.5 중량부 내지 약 7 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0.001, 0.005, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 또는 9 중량부 포함될 수 있다.
상기 성분 (E)는 단독으로 사용하거나, 2종 이상을 조합하여 사용할 수 있다.
한 구체예에서 상기 광중합개시제(B)는 상기 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)와 약 1:0.1~약 1:15의 중량비로 포함될 수 있다. 상기와 같이 포함하여 점착층을 형성시, 표면 저항값이 낮으며, 밀착성 및 리웍성 등이 우수할 수 있다. 구체적으로는 상기 광중합개시제(B)는 상기 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)와 약 1:0.1~약 1:0.5의 중량비로 포함될 수 있다.
다른 구체예에서 상기 광중합개시제(B) 및 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(E)은 약 1:1~약 1:50의 중량비로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 중량비로 포함시 점착층의 내구성 및 내광누설성이 우수할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 1:1~약 1:10의 중량비로 포함될 수 있다.
(F) 대전 방지제
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 대전 방지제(본 명세서에 있어서는, 「대전 방지제(F)」 또는 단순히 「성분 (F)」라고도 칭함)를 더 포함해도 된다. 점착제 조성물이 대전 방지제를 포함함으로써, 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층의 표면 저항값이 저하된다. 이것에 의해, 피도착체인 액정셀 등에 접합된 후, 접합 미스 등에 의해 박리시킬 필요가 생긴 때에, 정전기의 발생을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있다. 그 결과, 편광판 등의 표면에 먼지가 부착되어 쉬워지거나, 액정 배향에 교란이 발생하기 쉬워지거나, 주변회로소자의 정전파괴가 일어나기 쉬워지거나 하는 것을, 안정적으로 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명에 이용하는 것이 가능한 대전 방지제로서는, 이온 액체 등의 이온 도전제나, 계면활성제 등이 적합하게 이용된다.

단, 상기 화학식 3에 있어서, A는 불소원자 또는 탄소수 1 내지 6의 플루오로알킬기이며; X는 수소, 알칼리 금속, 알칼리 토금속, 암모늄, 포스포늄, 알킬 암모늄 및 알킬 포스포늄으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 양이온의 어느 1종이다. 예를 들면, A는 불소원자이며, X는 H+, Li+, Na+ 또는 K+이다.
상기 계면활성제는 비이온성 계면활성제 또는 이온성 계면활성제 등을 이용할 수 있다. 구체예에서 상기 비이온성 계면활성제는, 플루오로지방족 중합체 에스테르(예를 들어, FC-4430, FC-4432, 이상 3M사 제품) 등의 불소계 계면활성제나, 폴리에틸렌글라이콜알킬에테르, 폴리옥시알킬렌알킬에테르 등을 들 수 있다. 구체예에서 상기 비이온성 계면활성제는, C8 내지 C22 알킬트라이메틸암모늄 할라이드 등의 양이온성 계면활성제나, 알킬설페이트 등의 음이온성 계면활성제를 예시할 수 있다.
구체예에서 성분 (F)는, 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0.2 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 0.8 중량부 내지 약 2.5 중량부(고형분비) 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 또는 5 중량부 포함될 수 있다. 상기 성분 (F)는 단독으로 사용하거나, 2종 이상을 조합하여 사용할 수 있다.
기타 성분
본 발명의 점착필름 및 점착제 조성물은, 첨가제로서 경화 촉진제, 리튬염, 무기 충전제, 연화제, 산화 방지제, 노화 방지제, 안정제, 점착 부여 수지, 개질수지(폴리올 수지, 페놀 수지, 아크릴 수지, 폴리에스테르 수지, 폴리올레핀 수지, 에폭시 수지, 에폭시화 폴리뷰타다이엔 수지 등), 레벨링제, 소포제, 가소제, 염료, 안료(착색 안료, 체질 안료 등), 처리제, 자외선차단제, 형광증백제, 분산제, 열안정제, 광안정제, 자외선흡수제, 윤활제 및 용제와 같은 첨가제를 포함할 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 경화 촉진제는 다이부틸주석 다이라우레이트, JCS-50(조호쿠카가쿠코교 주식회사 제품) 및 포메이트(등록상표) TK-1(미츠이카가쿠 주식회사 제품) 등을 들 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 산화 방지제는 다이부틸하이드록시톨루엔(BHT), 이르가녹스(등록상표) 1010, 이르가녹스(등록상표) 1035FF 및 이르가녹스(등록상표) 565(모두 바스프 재팬 주식회사 제품) 등을 들 수 있다.
구체예에서 점착 부여 수지는 로진산, 중합 로진산 및 로진산 에스테르 등의 로진류, 터펜 수지, 터펜페놀 수지, 방향족 탄화수소수지, 지방족 포화 탄화수소수지 및 석유수지 등을 들 수 있다.
상기 첨가제를 사용하는 경우, 예를 들면 상기 첨가제는 성분 (A) 100 중량부에 대하여 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 20 중량부 포함될 수 있으나, 특별히 제한되지 않는다.
제조 방법
본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 상기에 기술한 각 성분을 일괄하여 혼합하거나, 각 성분을 순차 혼합하거나, 또는 임의의 복수의 성분을 혼합한 후에 나머지 성분을 혼합하고, 균일한 혼합물이 되도록 교반하여 제조할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 실온 또는 필요에 따라서 가온(예를 들어, 약 30℃ 내지 약 40℃의 온도로 가온)시키고, 교반기 등에서 균일해질 때까지, 교반하여 조제할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 5분 내지 약 5 시간 교반하여 조제할 수 있다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물의 점도는 특별히 제한되지 않는다. 그러나, 도공 용이성, 해당 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층의 막 두께의 제어 용이성 등을 고려하면, 25℃에 있어서의 배합 직후(각 성분을 소정 시간 혼합하고 나서 10분 이내)의 B형 점도계에 의해 측정한 점도가 약 300 mPa·s 내지 약 7000mPa·s 일 수 있다. 예를 들면 광학부재의 점착제로서 이용하는 경우, 25℃에 있어서의 조제 직후(각 성분을 소정시간 혼합하고 나서 10분 이내)의 점도가 약 1000 mPa·s 내지 약 6000 mPa·s 일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 2500 mPa·s 내지 약 5000 mPa·s 일 수 있다.
포트 라이프는, 점착제 조성물을 배합한 직후의 조성물의 점도와, 조제(배합)하고 나서 12 시간 경과 후의 조성물의 점도를 비교함으로써 평가할 수 있다. 배합하고 나서 12 시간 경과 후의 조성물은 겔화되지 않는 것을 사용할 수 있다. 점착제 조성물을 배합한 직후의 조성물(용액의 경우에는, 조성물 용액)의 점도를 100%로 했을 경우, 배합하고 나서 12 시간 경과 후의 조성물(용액의 경우에는, 조성물 용액)의 점도는 약 130% 이내일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서 우수한 작업성을 지니는 점착제 조성물이 될 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 110% 이내일 수 있다. 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은 조성물 조제 후에 있어서 점착제 조성물의 과잉 점도상승 또는 겔화가 억제되어, 우수한 포트 라이프를 지닌다.
또, 본 명세서에 있어서, 상기의 「직후」란, 10분 이내를 의미한다. 즉, 「점착제 조성물을 조제한 직후의 조성물의 점도」란, 점착제 조성물의 조제가 종료된(각 성분을 소정시간 혼합한) 후 10분 이내에 측정한 점도를 의미한다.
점착제층
본 발명의 점착제 조성물로부터 얻어지는 점착제층은, 상기와 같은 점착제 조성물의 도막으로 형성되는 것이며, 활성 에너지 조사 처리하는 것에 의해 점착성이 부여되는 것이다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물은 광중합개시제를 포함하므로, 활성 에너지 조사 처리를 행하는 것에 의해 라디칼을 생성하고, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체나 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물의 에틸렌성 이중 결합의 성장 반응에 의해서 광중합한다. 이것에 의해, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층은, 점착 가공 후(활성 에너지 조사 처리 후)의 숙성 시간이 약 1 시간 이내인 짧은 기간에, 실용 점착 성능에 도달한다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물로부터 얻어지는 점착제층은, 상기와 같은 점착제 조성물을 박리 필름이나 기재 사이에 도포해서 얻어지는 것이며, 가교 전의 것도 가교 후의 것도 포함한다. 가교 전의 점착제 조성물로 이루어진 점착제층이 형성된 광학부재나 점착시트는, 사용 시 활성 에너지 조사 처리를 행하여, 점착제층(점착제 조성물)에 점착성을 부여해서 사용하면 된다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물의 경화는, 점착제 조성물을 기재에 도포한 후에 행하는 것이 일반적이지만, 가교 후의 점착제 조성물로 이루어진 점착제층을 기재에 전사하는 것도 가능하다. 또한, 박리 필름 상에 상기 점착제 조성물을 도포하고, 필요에 따라서 점착제 조성물의 도막을 건조시킨 후, 도막 상에 기재를 적층해도 된다.
또, 박리 필름 상에 상기 점착제 조성물을 도포하고, 필요에 따라서 점착제 조성물의 도막을 건조시킨 후, 박리력이 다른 별도의 박리 필름(제2 박리 필름)을 도막 상에 적층시켜도 된다. 이러한 태양에 의해, 점착제 조성물의 제조와, 이러한 점착제 조성물의 사용이, 다른 장소에서 행해지는 등의 이유에 의해, 점착제 조성물만을 수송할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 공기 중의 산소의 영향을 받지 않고 광경화를 진행시킬 수 있다. 또한, 2개의 박리 필름에 있어서의 박리력에 소정의 차이를 둠으로써, 박리력이 낮은 쪽의 박리 필름을 벗겼을 때, 점착제가 부분적으로 추종해가는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
예를 들면 상기 박리 필름은 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트(PET), 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 등의 폴리에스테르 필름이나, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에틸렌 등의 폴리올레핀 필름에 대해서, 실리콘 수지 등의 박리제를 도포하여, 박리층을 형성한 것을 들 수 있다. 구체예에서 상기 박리 필름은 약 20㎛ 내지 약 150㎛의 범위 내의 두께인 것을 사용할 수 있다.
구체예에서 상기 기재는 편광판, 편광층 보호 필름, 시야각 확대 필름, 방현필름, 위상차판 등, 액정 디스플레이에 사용할 수 있는 광학 필름 등을 들 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다. 특히 본 발명의 점착제 조성물이면, 기재를 편광판으로 한 경우에도 광누설 발생을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실시형태에서는, 점착제층이 편광판 상에 형성되어서 이루어진 광학부재가 제공된다. 또한, 본 발명에 있어서의 점착제 조성물은, 편광자 등에도 내구성이 양호하게 밀착시킬 수 있으므로, 편광판의 원료인 요오드 함유 폴리비닐알코올 수지를 연신시켜 제작된 편광자 자체도, 기재로서 이용할 수 있다. 편광자의 한 면이 트라이아세틸셀룰로스나 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 등의 보호 필름으로 피복된 편광자 등도 마찬가지이다.
구체예에서 상기 기재의 재질로는 폴리비닐알코올, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 트라이아세틸셀룰로스, 폴리카보네이트, 액정 폴리머, 사이클로올레핀, 폴리이미드, 폴리아마이드, 폴리아마이드이미드, 폴리페닐렌에테르, 폴리에테르케톤, 폴리에테르에테르케톤, 폴리설폰, 폴리에테르설폰, 폴리페닐렌설파이드, 폴리아릴레이트, 아크릴계 수지, 지환식 구조 함유 중합체 및 방향족계 중합체 등을 사용할 수 있다.
기재는, 표면 처리를 실시한 것이어도 된다. 이러한 표면 처리로서는, 예를 들어, 프라이머 처리, 코로나 처리, 화염 처리 등을 들 수 있다. 예를 들면 코로나 처리일 수 있다. 상기 표면 처리를 실시한 기재를 적용시 기재 필름에 대한 점착제층의 밀착성을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있다.
상기 점착제 조성물의 도포방법은 특별히 제한되지 않는다. 예를 들면 바 코트법, 나이프 코트법, 롤 코트법, 블레이드 코트법, 다이 코트법, 그라비어 코트법 등을 이용할 수 있다. 필요에 따라서, 용제를 첨가한 점착제 조성물을 도포해서 도막을 형성시킨 후, 건조시킬 수 있다. 건조 조건으로서는, 통상 약 50℃ 내지 약 150℃에서 약 10초 내지 약 10분의 범위 내로 할 수 있다. 구체예에서 상기 용제로는 톨루엔, 자일렌, 아세트산에틸, 아세트산부틸, 메틸에틸케톤, 에틸이소부틸케톤, 메틸알코올, 에틸 알코올, 이소프로필알코올 등을 사용할 수 있다. 구체예에서 상기 용제를 첨가하는 경우 점착제 조성물의 농도는, 약 5 중량% 내지 약 30 중량%의 범위 내의 값으로 포함될 수 있다.
광학부재에 사용할 때의 점착제 조성물의 도포 두께(건조 후의 두께)는, 사용하는 기재 및 용도에 따라서 선택할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 1㎛ 내지 약 100㎛ 일 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 5㎛ 내지 약 50㎛ 일 수 있다.
전술한 바와 같이 조제한 점착제 조성물의 도막에 대해서 활성 에너지선 조사 처리를 행하여, 점착제층을 형성한다. 예를 들면 상기 활성 에너지선은 자외선이나 전자선 등을 들 수 있다. 상기 활성 에너지선이 자외선인 경우 고압수은 램프, 무전극 램프, 제논램프, 메탈 할라이드 램프 등을 광원으로서 이용할 수 있고, 전자선인 경우 전자선 가속기 등을 광원으로서 이용할 수 있다.
박리 필름 상에 점착제 조성물의 도막을 형성한 경우, 활성 에너지선의 조사는 박리 필름 측에서부터 행할 수 있다. 이것에 의해, 편광판 등의 기재를 손상시키는 일 없이, 효율적으로 조사를 행할 수 있다.
활성 에너지선 조사 처리에 있어서 활성 에너지선의 조사량은 약 50mJ/㎠ 내지 약 1000mJ/㎠ 일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서 성분 (A)나 성분 (E)에 있어서의 에틸렌성 이중 결합의 반응을 충분히 발생시킬 수 있고, 환경변화에 노출된 경우에 대하여 내구성이나, 소망의 점착제 특성을 얻을 수 있으며, 점착제층이나 기재를 파괴하는 일 없이 가교를 행할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 100mJ/㎠ 내지 약 700mJ/㎠의 조사량에서 조사할 수 있다. 다른 예를 들면 약 120mJ/㎠ 내지 약 500mJ/㎠의 조사량에서 조사할 수 있다.
구체예에서 메탈 할라이드 램프를 이용해서 자외선을 점착제 조성물에 조사하는 경우 약 500mW/㎠ 내지 약 2,000mW/㎠로 조사할 수 있다. 조사 시간은 임의로 설정하면 되지만, 예를 들어, 약 1초 내지 약 10초 조사를 행하면 된다. 조사 처리 시의 분위기는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 공기 중에서 행해도 되지만, 공기 중의 산소의 영향을 받지 않고 광경화를 진행시킬 수 있다는 관점에서, 질소 가스나 아르곤 가스 등의 불활성 가스 분위기 하에서 행해도 된다. 또한, 조사 처리는 실온에서 행해도 되고, 약 40℃ 내지 약 80℃로 가온시킨 스테이지 상에서 행할 수도 있다.
광학부재
및 점착시트
본 발명은, 본 발명의 점착필름 또는 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비한, 광학부재 및 점착시트를 제공한다.
광학부재
구체예에서 광학부재로는 편광판, 위상차판, 평면 디스플레이용 광학 필름, 터치패널용 도전 필름 등을 들 수 있다. 이 중, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 편광판과 유리의 접착성이 우수하다. 물론, 본 발명은, 상기 형태로 한정되는 것은 아니고, 다른 부재의 접착에 사용하는 것도 가능하다. 본 발명의 일 실시형태에서는, 상기 점착제층이 편광판 상에 형성되어서 이루어진 광학부재가 제공된다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 광학부재의 한 면 혹은 양면에 직접 도포해서 점착제층을 형성하여 사용되어도 되고, 박리 필름 상에 점착제층을 미리 형성하고, 이것을 광학부재의 한 면 혹은 양면에 전사함으로써 사용되어도 된다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 우수한 유연성을 나타내므로, 특히 편광판에 이용한 경우, 경시적인 편광판의 수축에 추종할 수 있고, 우수한 내광누설성을 얻을 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은 우수한 내구성을 지니므로, 가열 처리나 고습처리에 의한 점착제층의 들뜸이나 박리를 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물을 광학부재에 이용하는 경우, 점착 가공(활성 에너지선 조사 처리)으로부터 1 시간 후의 점착제층의 겔 분율은 약 65% 내지 약 92% 일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서 점착제층을 구비한 광학부재로서 타발 가공이나 슬릿 가공을 신속하게 행할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 70% 내지 약 90% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 또는 92% 일 수 있다.
점착 가공 후, 23℃, 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 7 일간 보존 후의 점착제층의 겔 분율은, 점착 가공으로부터 1시간 후의 겔 분율을 100%로 했을 때, 약 95% 내지 약 105% 일 수 있다. 이러한 점착제층은, 장기간에 걸쳐서 안정적인 실용 점착 성능을 보유하고, 안정성이 우수하다. 겔 분율을 전술한 바와 같이 설정하기 위해서는, 각 성분의 첨가량을 상기 범위로 조정하는 등, 조건을 적절하게 선택하면 된다. 예를 들면 약 97% 내지 약 103% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 또는 105% 일 수 있다.
본 발명의 광학부재에 있어서, 광학부재에 형성된 점착필름 또는 점착제층의 점착력은, 약 1 N/25㎜ 내지 약 6 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다. 이러한 범위의 점착력이면, 리워크성이 유리할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 2 N/25㎜ 내지 약 5 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다. 또, 본 명세서에 있어서, 「점착력」은, JIS Z0237(2000년)의 점착테이프 점착시트 시험 방법에 준해서 측정함으로써 구해지고, 보다 구체적으로는, 하기 실시예에 기재된 방법에 따라서 측정된다. 예를 들면, 약 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 또는 6 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다.
광학부재에 이용되는 본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 포트 라이프가 길고 작업성이 우수하며, 점착 가공 후의 숙성 시간이 약 1 시간 이내로, 단시간에 실용 점착 성능에 도달하여, 생산성이 대폭 향상된다. 또한, 광학부재에 이용되는 본 발명의 점착필름 또는 점착제 조성물로부터 얻어지는 점착제층은, 내광누설성이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 광학부재용으로서 적당한 점착력이나 기재에 대한 밀착성을 지니고, 내구성, 내피도착체 오염성, 리워크성도 우수하다.
점착시트
본 발명의 점착제 조성물은, 기재 또는 세퍼레이터 상에 도공하고, 건조(가교) 처리를 실시하여, 점착제층을 형성함으로써, 시트 형상이나 테이프 형상 등의 점착시트로 하는 것도 가능하다. 즉, 본 발명은, 본 발명의 점착필름 또는 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비하는, 점착시트를 제공한다.
점착시트의 기재로서는, 위에 기재한 것들 외에, 고무의 발포체, 종이, 알루미늄박 등의 공지의 각종 박엽부재가 이용된다. 이들 기재의 표면에는, 그 재질에 따라서, 코로나 처리, 플라즈마 처리, 접착용이층의 형성 등의 하지 처리나, 대전 방지층의 형성 등을 행해도 된다. 또한, 세퍼레이터에는, 상기 기재와 마찬가지의 플라스틱 필름의 표면을 실리콘계, 불소계, 장쇄 알킬계 등의 박리 처리제로 박리 처리한 것이나, 이러한 박리 처리를 실시하지 않는 폴리프로필렌 필름 등, 각종의 것을 사용할 수 있다.
기재 상에 점착필름층 또는 점착제층을 형성할 경우, 그 중 한 면에 형성해서 편면 점착시트로 해도 되고, 양면에 형성해서 양면 점착시트로 해도 된다. 양면에 형성할 경우, 한 면에만 본 발명의 점착제 조성물을 이용하여 양면에 점착제종이 다른 테이프로 하는 것도 가능하다. 세퍼레이터 상에 점착제층을 형성할 경우에는, 양면 점착시트로서 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 점착제 조성물을 점착시트에 이용하는 경우, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리로부터 7일 경과한 후의 점착제층의 겔 분율은 65% 내지 92% 일 수 있다. 상기 범위에서 점착제층을 구비한 점착시트로서 타발 가공이나 슬릿 가공을 신속하게 행할 수 있다. 예를 들면 70% 내지 90% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 또는 92% 일 수 있다. 점착 가공 후, 23℃, 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 7 일간 보존 후의 점착제층의 겔 분율은, 점착 가공으로부터 1시간 후의 겔 분율을 100%로 했을 때, 약 95% 내지 약 105% 일 수 있다. 이러한 점착제층은, 장기간에 걸쳐서 안정적인 실용 점착 성능을 보유하고, 안정성이 우수하다. 겔 분율을 상기한 바와 같이 설정하기 위해서는, 각 성분의 첨가량을 상기 범위로 조정하는 등, 조건을 적절하게 선택하면 된다. 예를 들면 97% 내지 103% 일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 약 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 또는 105% 일 수 있다.
본 발명의 점착시트에 있어서, 점착시트에 형성된 점착필름 또는 점착제층의 점착력은, 약 0.05 N/25㎜ 내지 약 20 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다. 이러한 범위의 점착력이면, 다양한 점착력이 요구되는 시트 형상이나 테이프 형상 등의 점착시트에 대응할 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 0.1 N/25㎜ 내지 약 10 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다. 예를 들면 약 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 N/25㎜ 일 수 있다.
본 발명의 효과를, 이하의 실시예 및 비교예를 이용해서 설명한다. 단, 본 발명의 기술적 범위가 이하의 실시예만으로 제한되는 것은 아니다. 또, 합성예에서 얻어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액의 고형분 및 점도, 점착제 조성물 용액의 점도, 그리고 성분 (A)의 중량평균 분자량의 측정은, 이하의 방법으로 행하였다.
실시예
<고형분>
약 1g의 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액을, 정밀하게 칭량한 유리 접시에 정밀하게 칭량하였다. 105℃에서 1시간 건조시킨 후, 실온으로 되돌리고, 유리 접시와 잔존 고형분의 합계의 중량을 정밀하게 칭량하였다. 유리 접시의 중량을 X, 건조시키기 전의 유리 접시와 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액의 합계의 중량을 Y, 유리 접시와 잔존 고형분의 합계의 중량을 Z로 하여, 하기 식 3에 의해 고형분을 산출하였다.

<점도>
유리병에 넣은 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액을 25℃로 온도 조절하고, B형 점도계에 의해 측정하였다. 또, 점착제 조성물 용액의 점도 측정은, 점착제 조성물 용액을 배합한 직후 및 배합하고 나서 12시간 경과 후 2회 행하였다.

하기 표 1의 측정 방법 및 측정 조건에 의해 중량평균 분자량을 측정하였다.

(합성예 1)
환류기 및 교반기를 구비한 플라스크에, n-부틸아크릴레이트(주식회사 니혼쇼쿠바이(日本觸媒) 제품) 99 중량부, 2-하이드록시에틸아크릴레이트(주식회사 니혼쇼쿠바이 제품) 1 중량부 및 아세트산에틸 120 중량부를 투입하였다. 이어서 질소 치환을 행하면서 65℃까지 가온시키고, 아조비스이소부티로나이트릴(AIBN) 0.04 중량부를 가하고, 65℃를 유지하면서 6 시간 중합을 행하였다. 중합 반응 종료 후, 아세트산에틸 280 중량부를 가해서 희석을 행하여, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(샘플명: A-1)의 용액을 얻었다. 얻어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액의 고형분은 20 중량%, 점도는 4500 mPa·s이었다. 또한, 얻어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A-1)의 중량평균 분자량은 1,600,000 g/mol이었다.
(합성예 2 내지 11)
합성예 1에 있어서, 단량체 성분의 조성을, 하기 표 2에 나타낸 바와 같은 조성으로 변경한 것을 제외하고는, 합성예 1과 마찬가지 조작을 행함으로써, (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A-2) 내지 (A-11)의 용액을 얻었다. 또한, 얻어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A-2) 내지 (A-11) 용액의 고형분과 점도, 및 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A-2) 내지 (A-11)의 중량평균 분자량을 측정하였다. 그 결과를 하기 표 2에 나타내었다. 또한 하기 표 2에 있어서, 「BA」는 부틸아크릴레이트이고; 「MA」는 메틸아크릴레이트이며; 「HEA」는 2-하이드록시에틸아크릴레이트이고; 「4HBA」는 4-하이드록시부틸아크릴레이트이며; 「HEAA」는 N-2-하이드록시에틸아크릴아마이드이고; 「AA」는 아크릴산이다.

상기 합성예 1에서 얻어진 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 용액을 500 중량부((메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)의 고형분으로서 100 중량부), 광중합개시제(B)인 이르가큐어(등록상표) 500(1-하이드록시-사이클로헥실페닐케톤:벤조페논=1:1(w:w), 바스프 재팬 주식회사 제품, 시료명 B-1) 2 중량부, 실란 커플링제(D)인 신에츠 실리콘(등록상표) KBM-403(3-글라이시독시프로필메틸다이에톡시실란, 신에츠카가쿠코교 주식회사 제품, 시료명 C-1) 0.1 중량부, 이소시아네이트기를 지니지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)인 카보디라이트(등록상표) V-09(닛신보케미컬 주식회사 제품, 시료명 D-1) 2 중량부, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(E)인 NK에스테르 A-TMPT(트라이메틸올프로판트라이아크릴레이트, 신나카무라코교 주식회사 제품, 시료명 E-1) 4 중량부, 및 점착제 조성물(성분 (A) 내지 (E)의 합계)의 농도가 17 중량%가 되도록 아세트산에틸을 가해서, 실온(25℃)에서 10 분간 혼합하여, 점착제 조성물이 용해되어 있는 용액(점착제 조성물 용액)을 얻었다.
이 용액을, 박리 PET 필름(미쓰비시 수지 주식회사 제품, MRF38, 두께: 38㎛) 상에, 베이커 도포기(Baker applicator)에서 건조 후의 두께가 25㎛가 되도록 도포하고, 90℃에서 3분간 건조시켜서 점착제층을 형성하였다. 그 후, 편광판 또는 박리력이 다른 별도의 박리 필름(제2 박리 필름)을 적층하여, 점착제층이 형성된 편광판 또는 점착시트를 얻었다.
편광판 위 또는 박리 필름 사이에 형성된 점착제층에 대해서 이하의 조건으로 활성 에너지선 조사 처리를 행하였다. 또, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리는 상기 적층으로부터 3분 이내에 행하였다.

하기 표 3 및 표 4에 나타낸 바와 같은 조성비로, 상기 합성예에서 합성한 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, 광중합개시제, 실란 커플링제, 카보다이이미드계 경화제, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물, 대전 방지제, 그리고 기타 첨가제를 사용한 것을 제외하고는, 실시예 1과 마찬가지로 해서, 점착제 조성물이 용해되어 있는 용액의 조제 및 점착제층 부착 편광판 또는 점착시트의 제작을 행하였다. 또, 광중합개시제 B-1 및 B-2, 카보다이이미드계 경화제 C-1 및 c-2, 실란 커플링제 D-1 및 D-2, 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 E-1 내지 E-4, 대전 방지제 F-1 내지 F-2, 및 기타 첨가제 G의 상세는 하기와 같다. 또한, 표 3 및 표 4 중의 중량부는, 각 제품의 첨가량이 아니라, 유효성분의 첨가량이다.

상기 카보다이이미드계 경화제 중, D-1(카보디라이트(등록상표) V-09)은 이소시아네이트기를 지니고 있지 않고(NCO 함유율: 0%), d-2(카보디라이트(등록상표) V-01)는 이소시아네이트기를 지닌다(NCO 함유율: 9.8%). 하기 화학식 4와 같이, 상기 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 E-1 내지 E-4는 직쇄 또는 분기쇄 형상의 구조이다.

점착제층의 실용 점착 성능을 평가하기 위하여, 실시예 및 비교예에 따른 점착제층이 형성된 편광판 또는 점착시트에 대해서, 하기 방법에 따라서 각 성능을 평가하여 하기 표 5 및 표 6에 나타내었다. 또, 하기 평가에 있어서, 「제작 후 1시간 이내」란, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후 1시간 이내에 시험에 제공하는 것을 말한다.
(1) 겔 분율
실시예 1 내지 11 및 비교예 1 내지 3에서 제작한 점착시트를 이용해서, 점착제 조성물의 겔 분율을 측정하였다. 겔 분율은, 이하의 방법에 의해 행하였다. 즉, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후, 23℃, 45% RH의 분위기 하에 점착시트를 보존하였다. 활성 에너지선 조사 처리로부터 5분 후, 1시간 후 및 7일 후에 있어서, 점착제 조성물 약 0.1g을 칭량하고, 중량 W1(g)을 측정하였다. 이것을 샘플병에 채취하고, 아세트산에틸을 약 30g 가해서 24시간 방치하였다. 소정시간 경과 후의 샘플병의 내용물을 200 메쉬의 철망(망의 중량을 W2(g))에서 여과 분리시키고, 철망 및 잔류물을 90℃에서 1시간 건조시킨 전체의 중량 W3(g)을 측정하였다. 겔 분율은 이들 측정값으로부터 하기 식 2에 의해 산출하였다.

(2) 금속부식 억제 및 방지성
점착제층을 구비한 편광판 제작 후 1시간 이내에, 점착제 층면을 알루미늄박에 붙였다. 그 후, 60℃, 95% RH의 분위기 하에 보존하였다. 보존 2 일째 및 10 일째에 있어서, 부식성을 관찰하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서, 「○」는 변화 없음을, 「×」는 백화된 것을 각각 나타낸다.
(3) 내광누설성
점착제층을 구비한 편광판 제작 직후, 편광판을 120㎜(편광판 MD(machine direction))×60㎜ 및 120㎜(편광판 TD(transverse direction))×60㎜로 재단하여, 각각 유리판의 각 면에 중첩하도록 붙인 후, 50℃, 0.49㎫(5㎏/㎠)의 조건에서 20분간 오토클레이브 처리를 행하였다. 그 후, 85℃ 분위기 하에 보존하고, 보존 개시부터 120 시간 및 500 시간 후의 외관을 관찰하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서 「◎」는 120 시간 후 및 500 시간 후에 광누설이 관찰되지 않은 것을, 「○」는 120 시간 후에 광누설이 관찰되지 않은 것을, 「△」는 120 시간 후에 단부에만 광누설이 관찰된 것을, 「×」는 광누설이 관찰된 것을 각각 나타낸다.
(4) 내구성
점착제층을 구비한 편광판 제작 직후, 편광판을 120㎜(편광판 MD 방향)×60㎜로 재단하여, 무알칼리 유리(코닝(주) 제품, 이글XG)에 붙이고, 50℃, 0.49㎫(5㎏/㎠)의 조건에서 20 분간 오토클레이브 처리를 행하였다. 그 후, 85℃ 분위기 하 및 60℃, 95% RH의 분위기 하에서 500 시간 보존 후의 외관을 관찰하였다. 또한, -40℃에서 30분(제1 스테이지) 및 85℃에서 30분(제2 스테이지)의 2스테이지를 1사이클로 해서, 이것을 200 사이클 반복하는 히트 쇼크 시험을 행하고, 시험 후의 외관을 관찰하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서, 「○」는 발포, 들뜸, 박리가 관찰되지 않은 것을, 「△」은 단부의 일부에 박리가 관찰된 것을, 「×」는 발포, 들뜸, 박리 중 어느 하나 이상이 관찰된 것을 각각 나타낸다.
(5) 점착력
점착제층을 구비한 편광판 제작 직후, 편광판을 25㎜ 폭으로 재단하여, 무알칼리 유리(코닝(주) 제품, 이글XG)에 붙이고, 50℃, 0.49㎫(5㎏/㎠)의 조건 하에 20 분간 오토클레이브 처리를 행하였다. 인장 시험기를 이용해서, 23℃, 45% RH의 분위기 하에 박리각 180°, 박리 속도 0.3m/분에서, JIS Z0237(2000년)에 기재된 점착테이프 및 점착시트 시험 방법에 준하여 점착력의 측정을 행하였다.
(6) 기재에 대한 밀착성
상기 5. 점착력의 측정 시 밀착성을 관찰하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서, 「○」는 점착제가 기재로부터 전혀 박리되지 않은 것을, 「×」는 점착제가 기재로부터 박리된 것을 각각 나타낸다.
(7) 피착체 오염성
상기 (5) 점착력 측정 전후의 유리판면의 접촉각을 측정하였다. 접촉각의 측정은, JIS R3257(1999년)에 기재된 기판 유리 표면의 젖음성 시험 방법에 준하여 행하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서, 「○」는 점착력 측정 전후의 유리판면의 접촉각 변화가 3° 이하인 것을, 「×」는 점착력 측정 전후의 유리판면의 접촉각 변화가 3°를 초과한 것을 각각 나타낸다.
(8) 표면저항값
점착제층을 구비한 편광판 제작 직후, 편광판의 점착제 층면의 표면저항을 저항률계 하이레스터 UP(미츠비시카가쿠사 제품)을 사용해서 23℃, 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 측정하였다. 또, 인가 전압은 100V로 하였다.
(9) 리워크성
상기 5. 점착력의 측정 시 박리 상태를 관찰하였다. 하기 표 5 및 표 6 에서, 「○」는 계면파괴가 관찰된 것을, 「×」는 유리판(피도착체)에 점착제가 전착 및/또는 응집 파괴가 관찰된 것을 각각 나타낸다.

상기 표 3 내지 표 6을 참조하면, 본 발명의 점착제 조성물(실시예 1 내지 11)은, 본 발명의 범위 밖인 점착제 조성물(비교예 1 내지 3)에 비해서, 포트 라이프가 길고, 또한, 1시간 이내의 단시간의 숙성이어도 실용 점착 성능에 도달함을 알 수 있었다. 또, 본 발명(실시예 1 내지 11)의 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층은, 내광누설성 및 내구성이 우수함을 알 수 있었다.
Claims (27)
- (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체, (B) 광중합개시제 및 (C) 카보다이이미드계 경화제를 포함하며,하기 식 1에 의한 겔분율 차이의 절대값이 약 10% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 점착필름:[식 1]겔분율 차이= GF7 - GF1(상기 식 1에서 GF7은, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후 23℃ 및 45% 상대습도(RH)에서 7일 숙성시킨 후 하기 식 2에 의한 겔분율이며, GF1은, 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후 23℃ 및 45% RH 에서 1 시간 숙성시킨 후 하기 식 2에 의한 겔분율임)[식 2](상기 식 2에서, W1은 활성 에너지선 조사 처리된 점착필름을 23℃, 45% RH에서 1 시간 또는 7일 동안 숙성시킨 후 얻은 시편의 무게이고,W2는 철망(200mesh)의 무게이고,W3는 상기 점착필름을 숙성시킨 후 얻은 시편을 샘플병에 넣고, 상기 샘플병에 아세트산에틸 30g를 첨가하여 1 일간 25℃에서 방치한 다음, 상기 철망 및 시편을 90℃에서 1 시간 동안 건조시켜 얻은 점착필름 및 철망의 무게이다).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 활성 에너지선 조사 처리 후, 23℃ 및 45% RH의 분위기 하에서 7일 숙성시킨 후의 겔분율이 약 65% 내지 약 92%인 점착필름.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부; 광중합개시제(B) 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부; 및 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C) 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부를 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)는 이소시아네이트기를 포함하지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제인 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 (D) 실란 커플링제를 더 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 상기 실란 커플링제(D) 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 0.5 중량부를 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (E) 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 약 0 중량부 초과 약 9 중량부 이하를 더 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (E) 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 약 1 중량부 내지 약 8 중량부를 더 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제8항에 있어서, 광중합개시제(B) 및 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(E)은 약 1:1~약 1:50의 중량비로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광중합개시제(B) 및 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)는 약 1:0.1~약 1:15의 중량비로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (F) 대전방지제 약 0.2 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부를 더 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여,(메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1) 약 90 중량부 내지 약 99.9 중량부, 및 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3) 중에서 적어도 하나를 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 10 중량부 포함하는 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여, (a-1) (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머 약 90 중량부 내지 약 99.5 중량부, (a-2) 카르복실기 함유 모노머 약 0.5 중량부 내지 약 10 중량부 및 잔량부의 (a-3) 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머를 포함하며,상기 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1), 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3)의 합계량은 100 중량부인 점착필름.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름의 점착력은 약 1 N/25mm 내지 약 6 N/25mm인 점착필름.
- (A) (메타)아크릴산계 중합체 100 중량부;(B) 광중합개시제 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 4 중량부; 및(C) 이소시아네이트기를 포함하지 않는 카보다이이미드계 경화제 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부를 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 점착제 조성물은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 실란 커플링제(D) 약 0.05 중량부 내지 약 0.5 중량부를 더 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 점착제 조성물은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (E) 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 약 0 중량부 초과 약 9 중량부 이하를 더 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 점착제 조성물은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (E) 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물 약 1 중량부 내지 약 8 중량부 더 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 광중합개시제(B) 및 활성 에너지선 경화형 화합물(E)은 약 1:1~약 1:50의 중량비로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 광중합개시제(B) 및 카보다이이미드계 경화제(C)는 약 1:0.1~약 1:15의 중량비로 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 점착제 조성물은 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여 (F) 대전방지제 약 0.2 중량부 내지 약 5 중량부를 더 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여,(메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머(a-1) 약 90 중량부 내지 약 99.9 중량부 및 카르복실기 함유 모노머(a-2) 및 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머(a-3) 중 적어도 하나를 약 0.1 중량부 내지 약 10 중량부 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A) 100 중량부에 대하여, (a-1) (메타)아크릴산 에스테르 모노머 약 90 중량부 내지 약 99.5 중량부, (a-2) 카르복실기 함유 모노머 약 0.5 중량부 내지 약 10 중량부 및 잔량부의 (a-3) 하이드록시기 함유 (메타)아크릴 모노머를 포함하는 점착제 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 (메타)아크릴산계 중합체(A)는 중량평균분자량이 약 500,000 g/mol 내지 약 2,000,000 g/mol인 점착제 조성물.
- 제1항의 점착필름, 또는 제15항의 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비하는 광학부재.
- 제25항에 있어서, 상기 점착필름 또는 점착제층이 편광판 상에 형성되어 이루어지는 광학부재.
- 제1항의 점착필름, 또는 제15항의 점착제 조성물로 형성되는 점착제층을 구비하는 점착시트.
