Definitions
- the present invention relates to an absorbent article.
- absorbent articles include sanitary napkins in which an absorbent that absorbs and retains excretion such as menstrual blood is provided between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet.
- sanitary napkin when the sanitary napkin is deformed into various shapes when it is attached to the crotch and receives a deformation force from the side, there are problems such as poor fit and an uncomfortable feeling. Therefore, by attaching an elastic member from the non-skin side to both sides in the width direction of the absorbent body, and making the stiffness of both sides higher than the stiffness of the center, the cross-sectional shape of the sanitary napkin is directed to the skin side.
- a sanitary napkin that is easily guided to a convex shape has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
- the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article in which leakage of excrement such as menstrual blood is suppressed.
- the main invention for achieving the above object has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction orthogonal to each other.
- a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-permeable second sheet, an absorption A body and a liquid-impermeable back sheet are sequentially laminated, and the top sheet, the second sheet, and the absorber are compressed in the thickness direction from the top sheet side on both sides in the width direction.
- the second sheet has a pair of two-layer parts located at both ends in the width direction by folding both ends in the width direction, 1 layer part located in the center part of the width direction, and in the center part of the longitudinal direction, at least a part of the two layer parts which the second sheet has is more in the width direction than the absorber.
- Located outside Rukoto a absorbent article characterized by.
- FIG. 4A shows a cross-sectional shape of the napkin in a natural state
- FIG. 4B is a diagram showing a cross-sectional shape of the napkin when worn. It is a figure explaining the thickness of a napkin. It is a figure explaining the modification of a second sheet.
- a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-permeable second sheet, an absorber, and a liquid-impermeable back sheet in the thickness direction. are laminated in order, and a pair of compressed portions in which the top sheet, the second sheet, and the absorbent body are compressed in the thickness direction from the top sheet side are formed on both sides in the width direction.
- the second sheet has a pair of two layer portions located at both end portions in the width direction and a one layer portion located at the center portion in the width direction by folding both end portions in the width direction.
- both sides in the width direction in the central portion in the longitudinal direction can be stably and cleanly erected on the skin side. Can be dammed on both sides.
- the second sheet is a single layer in the central portion in the width direction, it is possible to prevent a decrease in liquid permeability and to prevent the excrement from overflowing from the central portion in the width direction. Therefore, leakage of excrement from the absorbent article can be suppressed.
- the thickness of the portion where the compression portion is formed is less than half of the maximum thickness of the portion outside in the width direction with respect to the compression portion. According to such an absorbent article, since both sides in the width direction can easily stand on the skin side, excrement flowing out in the width direction can be more reliably dammed at both sides in the width direction.
- Such an absorbent article wherein an adhesive for fixing the absorbent article to the skin side surface of an undergarment is provided on the non-skin side surface of the back sheet, from an end in the width direction of a region where the adhesive is provided
- the second sheet is an absorbent article characterized in that an end in the width direction of the second sheet is positioned outside in the width direction. According to such an absorbent article, the movement of both side portions in the width direction is prevented from being restricted by underwear, and both side portions in the width direction can easily stand on the skin side. The discharged excrement can be dammed at both sides in the width direction.
- the inner end in the width direction of the folded portion of the second sheet is located on the outer side in the width direction with respect to the compression portion, and the longitudinal direction In the position spaced from the central position in the longitudinal direction in the longitudinal direction, the inner end in the width direction of the folded portion of the second sheet is positioned on the inner side in the width direction than the compression portion.
- the absorbent article characterized by the above. According to such an absorbent article, while maintaining the state where the end portion in the width direction of the second sheet is folded back by the compression portion, the second layer portion of the second sheet is raised to the skin side at the center position in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, the excrement flowing out in the width direction can be more reliably dammed at both sides in the width direction.
- the distance between the pair of compression portions in the width direction is greater in the center position in the longitudinal direction than in the position spaced from the center position in the longitudinal direction in the longitudinal direction. It is an absorbent article characterized by being narrow. According to such an absorbent article, since the compression part is easy to follow the wearer's thigh and both side parts in the width direction are easy to stand on the skin side, the excrement that has flowed out in the width direction can be more reliably detected. Damping is possible at both sides in the width direction.
- the width of the absorbent body is narrower at the central position in the longitudinal direction than at the position spaced from the central position in the longitudinal direction in the longitudinal direction. It is an absorbent article. According to such an absorbent article, the absorbent body is easy to follow the wearer's thigh, and both side portions in the width direction are likely to stand on the skin side. Damping is possible at both sides in the width direction.
- the second sheet is an absorbent article characterized in that both end portions in the width direction are folded back to the top sheet side. According to such an absorbent article, since the two-layer portion of the second sheet can be raised to the skin side, excrement that has flowed out in the width direction can be more reliably dammed at both side portions in the width direction. .
- FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view of the skin side of the wearer in the napkin 1.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic plan view of the non-skin side of the wearer in the napkin 1.
- 3A and 3B are schematic cross-sectional views of the napkin 1 at positions AA and BB in FIG. As illustrated, the napkin 1 has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction that are orthogonal to each other. Moreover, in the napkin 1, as shown in FIG.
- the liquid-permeable top sheet 2, the liquid-permeable second sheet 3, the absorber 4, and the liquid-impermeable back sheet from the skin side in the thickness direction. 5 are sequentially stacked.
- An adhesive (not shown) (for example, a hot melt adhesive) is applied to the interfaces of the members 2 to 5.
- the absorber 4 is for absorbing and holding excreta such as menstrual blood, and examples thereof include those composed of hydrophilic fibers, polymer water-absorbing polymers, and the like.
- the planar shape of the absorbent body 4 of the present embodiment is a bowl shape extending in the longitudinal direction. That is, both end portions 1a in the longitudinal direction are rounded and the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction is constricted in the width direction.
- the top sheet 2 (for example, a nonwoven fabric or an apertured film) and the back sheet 5 (for example, a synthetic resin film or a waterproofed nonwoven fabric) have the same planar shape and are slightly larger than the absorbent body 4.
- a pair of wing portions 10 extending from the center portion 1b in the longitudinal direction to both outer sides in the width direction are formed.
- parts other than the wing part 10 are also referred to as the main body part 11 of the napkin 1.
- the napkin 1 which does not have the wing part 10 may be sufficient.
- the peripheral part of the top sheet 2 and the peripheral part of the back sheet 5 are joined, for example by heat embossing, an adhesive agent, etc., and the junction part 6 is formed.
- the second sheet 3 is a sheet having liquid permeability and elasticity more in the thickness direction than the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 5. Therefore, as the second sheet 3, a nonwoven fabric of synthetic resin fibers (for example, polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, polyethylene terephthalate PET, etc.) that is easily imparted with liquid permeability and elasticity, is relatively inexpensive, and is easy to manufacture. Is given as an example. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and a non-woven fabric of natural fibers (for example, cotton) or regenerated fibers (for example, rayon) may be used.
- synthetic resin fibers for example, polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP, polyethylene terephthalate PET, etc.
- the thermal bond method with which liquid permeability and elasticity are easily provided especially the air-through type which makes hot air penetrate the fiber deposited on the net and makes it into a sheet form is desirable.
- the present invention is not limited to this, and other manufacturing methods such as a chemical bond method and a spun lace method may be used.
- the basis weight of the second sheet 3 is 20 to 40 g / m 2 and the thickness of the second sheet 3 is 1 to 4 mm so that liquid permeability and elasticity are exhibited.
- the second sheet 3 has both end portions in the width direction folded back to the non-skin side (absorber 4 side). Specifically, the second sheet 3 is arranged such that the portion where the end portion on the one side in the width direction of the second sheet 3 is folded and the portion where the end portion on the other side in the width direction is folded do not overlap in the thickness direction. Both end portions in the width direction are folded back. Therefore, the second sheet 3 has a pair of two layer portions 30 located at both end portions in the width direction and a one layer portion 31 located at the center portion in the width direction.
- the napkin 1 has a compression section (for example, by heat embossing, by compressing and integrating the top sheet 2, the second sheet 3, and the absorber 4 in the thickness direction from the skin side (top sheet 2 side)).
- Recesses 7 and 8 are formed.
- the compression portions are provided on both sides in the width direction of the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, and a pair of first compression portions 7 (a pair of compression portions) extending in the longitudinal direction, and both end portions in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 1a, and a second compression unit 8 having a heart shape.
- the first compression portion 7 has an arc portion that protrudes inward in the width direction, and the arc portion is curved along the end 4 a in the width direction of the absorber 4. Moreover, in the 1st compression part 7 and the 2nd compression part 8, it compresses by the pressure higher than the low compression parts 70 and 80 and the low compression parts 70 and 80, respectively, and the high compression part with the deep depth of a recessed part. 71 and 81 are alternately arranged.
- the compression part may have a groove shape in which concave portions are continuous, or may have a shape in which a plurality of concave portions are arranged in a line at intervals.
- adhesives 20 and 21 (for example, hot melt adhesives) that fix the napkin 1 to the underwear and can peel the napkin 1 from the underwear are provided on the non-skin side surface of the back sheet 5.
- the adhesive includes a first adhesive 20 provided on the main body portion 11 of the napkin 1 and a second adhesive 21 provided on the wing portion 10.
- the first adhesive 20 is bonded to the skin side surface of the underwear
- the second adhesive 21 is bonded to the non-skin side surface of the underwear by the folded wing part 10.
- FIG. 2 an example is shown in which ten strips of adhesive extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged in the width direction in the first adhesive 20 and one is provided in the second adhesive 21.
- the adhesive application pattern is not limited to this.
- FIG. 4A shows a cross-sectional shape of the napkin 1 in a natural state
- FIG. 4B is a diagram showing a cross-sectional shape of the napkin 1 when worn.
- 4A and 4B are cross-sectional views in which the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 is cut in the width direction and the thickness direction.
- the length in the width direction of the second sheet 3 is the length in the width direction of the absorber 4 (between the center portions 1 b in the longitudinal direction). 4a, between 4a).
- the length in the width direction of the second sheet 3 and the absorber 4 is equal in the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, and the second sheet 3 does not protrude from the absorber 4 to the outside in the width direction.
- the rigidity of both side parts in the width direction of the napkin 1 becomes as high as the rigidity of the center part in the width direction. Therefore, when the napkin 1 is sandwiched between the crotch portions of the wearer and a crotch tightening force is applied to compress the napkin 1 in the width direction, both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 are compressed and then the skin side. It will bend to the non-skin side.
- the deformation of the napkin 1 when worn becomes unstable. If both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1 are folded to the non-skin side, it will be absorbed by excrement spilled from the gap between the width direction center of the napkin 1 and the vaginal opening, or in the width direction center. When the excrement that has not been cut out flows in the width direction, the excrement cannot be dammed on both sides of the napkin 1 in the width direction, and the excrement may leak from the napkin 1.
- the second sheet 3 in the width direction is a single layer. Since the second sheet 3 needs to have a basis weight and a thickness so as to exhibit liquid permeability, in this case, the rigidity of both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 is lower than the rigidity of the center portion in the width direction. It becomes too much. Therefore, when a crotch tightening force acts on the napkin 1, both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1 are crumpled and broken into various shapes. Therefore, the excrement flowing in the width direction cannot be dammed at both side portions of the napkin 1 in the width direction, and the excrement may leak from the napkin 1.
- a part of the two-layer portion 30 in which the end portion in the width direction of the second sheet 3 is folded at the center portion 1b in the longitudinal direction is an absorber. It is located outside of 4 in the width direction. Therefore, the rigidity of both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 (main body portion 11) is lower than when the absorber 4 is present, but as much as the second sheet 3 protruding from the absorber 4 is one layer. Not too low. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the deformation of the napkin 1 at the time of wearing from becoming unstable, and the both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1 from being crumpled to be crushed at the time of wearing. And as shown to FIG. 4B, the both sides of the width direction of the napkin 1 can be made to stand on the skin side from the 1st compression part 7.
- the rigidity of both side portions in the width direction is lower than that in the case where the absorber 4 is present, and it is present on both side portions in the width direction as compared to the absorber 4.
- the first compression part 7 is provided on the napkin 1 so that both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1 are in the first compression part 7 even in a natural state (FIG. 4A). This is because it is slightly bent on the skin side.
- the wing portion 10 when the wing portion 10 is provided as in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the wing portion 10 is folded back to the underwear, so that both side portions in the width direction of the main body portion 11 of the napkin 1 are formed on the leg revolving portion of the underwear. Will be located. Even in such a case, if the absorbent body 4 is present on both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1, the force of the leg repelling part of the underwear that tends to be in close contact with the wearer is offset by the rigidity of the absorbent body 4. Therefore, both sides in the width direction are difficult to stand on the skin side.
- both sides in the width direction of the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction can be stably and cleanly erected on the skin side when worn, and the cross-sectional shape of the napkin 1 Can be deformed into a W shape.
- the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 that is, the portion that comes into contact with the periphery of the vaginal opening is deformed into a W shape so that the central portion in the width direction of the napkin 1 (main body portion 11).
- the excrement that has flowed out in the width direction can be dammed at both side portions of the napkin 1 in the width direction. Therefore, the leakage of excrement from the napkin 1 can be suppressed.
- the cross-sectional shape of the napkin 1 is W-shaped, the napkin 1 can easily fit around the vaginal opening from the large labia to the buttocks, and the gap between the wearer and the napkin 1 is reduced. It can be said that leakage of excrement from the napkin 1 can be suppressed.
- a wearer's sense of security can be given because the fitting property of the napkin 1 improves.
- both sides of the napkin 1 in the width direction Prevents parts from being crumpled.
- the weight and thickness of the second sheet 3 are also increased at the central portion of the napkin 1 in the width direction, that is, the portion that contacts the vaginal opening, and the liquid permeability from the top sheet 2 to the absorber 4 is increased. It will decline.
- the center portion in the width direction of the second sheet 3 is formed as a one-layer portion 31 while folding both ends in the width direction of the second sheet 3.
- the liquid permeability of the center part of the width direction is securable, raising both the side parts of the width direction of the napkin 1 to the skin side. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the excrement from overflowing from the central portion in the width direction of the napkin 1, and to suppress the leakage of excrement from the napkin 1.
- the absorbent body 4 may be wrapped with a liquid-permeable covering material (for example, a tissue sheet).
- a liquid-permeable covering material for example, a tissue sheet.
- the length of the covering material in the width direction at the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 is the second sheet 3. It may be the same as the length in the width direction. Also in this case, since the covering material has lower rigidity than the absorbent body 4, the both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 are not hindered from standing on the skin side.
- the edge 4a of the width direction of the absorber 4 is curving so that it may become convex inside the width direction in the center part 1b of a longitudinal direction. . That is, the width of the absorber 4 is gradually narrowed toward the central position B in the longitudinal direction, and the central position B in the longitudinal direction is spaced from the central position B in the longitudinal direction (for example, position Compared with A), the width of the absorber 4 is narrower. Therefore, the absorber 4 is easy to follow the wearer's thigh, and both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 are easy to stand on the skin side.
- the width of the second sheet 3 is constant regardless of the position in the longitudinal direction, the length of the second sheet 3 protruding in the width direction from the absorber 4 can be increased in the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, in the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 that is in contact with the periphery of the vaginal opening, both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 can be erected more reliably on the skin side, and excrement that flows out in the width direction dams up. It can be stopped.
- the absorbent body 4 is constricted in the width direction at the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction, and the two-layer portion 30 of the second sheet 3 protrudes from the absorbent body 4 in the width direction. Yes. Therefore, the wearer's thigh comes into contact with the second sheet 3 having a lower rigidity (stiffness) than the absorbent body 4 via the top sheet 2. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the second sheet 3 is a relatively elastic sheet. Therefore, the cushioning properties of both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 are high, the crotch tightening force from the wearer is relieved by the second seat 3, and the repulsive force to the wearer is also weakened.
- the napkin 1 of this embodiment even when an elementary school / junior high school student who is unaccustomed to wearing a napkin as compared with an adult can wear it, a sense of incongruity at the time of wearing can be reduced.
- the width of the napkin 1 can be adjusted by the second seat 3 that protrudes from the absorbent body 4 in the width direction even when worn by elementary and junior high school students whose crotch width is smaller than that of an adult. it can.
- the rigidity of one surface of the second sheet 3 may be higher than that of the other surface.
- the second sheet 3 is an air-through nonwoven fabric
- the net surface that is in contact with the net at the time of manufacture has higher fiber density and higher rigidity than the opposite surface.
- the high rigidity surface is not exposed to the wearer side, and only the low rigidity surface can be directed to the wearer side. That is, since only the highly cushioning surface of the second seat 3 can be directed to the wearer, the uncomfortable feeling at the time of wearing can be further reduced.
- the second sheet 3 is generally provided in order to prevent the liquid from returning from the absorber 4 and to improve the concealing property of the liquid absorbed by the absorber 4.
- a new sheet member different from the second sheet 3 can be provided.
- the configuration of the napkin 1 can be simplified and the cost can be reduced as compared with the case where the absorbent body 4 is provided on the outer side in the width direction and plays the role of standing or cushioning.
- the 1st compression part 7 is the inner side of the width direction along the edge 4a of the width direction of the absorber 4. As shown in FIG. It is curved so as to be convex, and the central position B in the longitudinal direction of the pair of first compression parts 7 is compared to the position spaced apart from the central position B in the longitudinal direction (for example, position A). The interval in the width direction is narrow. Therefore, the 1st compression part 7 which is a standing start point tends to follow a wearer's thigh, and the both sides of the width direction of the napkin 1 become easy to stand on the skin side.
- the length of the second sheet 3 protruding in the width direction from the first compression portion 7 can be increased in the central portion 1b in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1.
- both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 can be raised more reliably on the skin side, and the standing height can be increased. The excrement flowing out in the width direction is blocked.
- the edge 3a (henceforth the fold end 3a) inside the width direction of the part where the second sheet 3 was turned back is long.
- the folded end 3 a of the second sheet 3 is wider than the first compression section 7 as shown in FIG. 3B.
- the folded end 3a of the second sheet 3 is positioned in the width direction more than the first compression section 7, as shown in FIG. Located inside.
- the two-layer portion 30 of the second sheet 3 is not pressed against the absorber 4 by the first compression portion 7. Therefore, it tends to protrude from the absorbent body 4 to the skin side. That is, since the both side portions of the napkin 1 in the width direction can be raised to the skin side at the portion that contacts the periphery of the vaginal opening, excrement that has flowed out in the width direction is more reliably blocked. Moreover, it can be said that the leakage of excrement from the napkin 1 can be suppressed because the fitting property to the peripheral part of the vaginal opening from the large labia to the buttocks is enhanced.
- the second sheet 3 is Even if the sheet is relatively elastic, both ends in the width direction are folded back.
- the length is preferably 30 mm to 50 mm.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining the thickness of the napkin 1.
- the thickness (length in the thickness direction) t1 of the portion where the first compression portion 7 is formed is the outer portion in the width direction of the first compression portion 7. It is less than half of the maximum thickness t2.
- the first compression unit 7 includes the low compression unit 70 and the high compression unit 71, but the thicknesses of the low compression unit 70 and the high compression unit 71 are both wider than the first compression unit 7. It is assumed that it is less than or equal to half of the maximum thickness t2 of the portion outside the direction. By doing so, as shown in FIG.
- the space on the skin side becomes larger than the first compression portion 7, so that when the crotch tightening force is applied, both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1 are on the skin side. It becomes easy to stand up.
- the first compression portion 7 serving as a standing start point is positioned on the non-skin side, both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 are easily raised on the skin side. Therefore, the excrement flowing out in the width direction is more reliably blocked.
- the 1st adhesive agent 20 apply
- the width direction end 3b of the second sheet 3 is located on the outer side in the width direction than the width direction end 20a of the region where the agent 20 (adhesive) is provided. That is, a part of the region where the second seat 3 that plays a role of raising both side portions in the width direction of the napkin 1 is not fixed to the underwear, and the movement is not restricted to the underwear. Accordingly, both side portions of the napkin 1 in the width direction can easily stand on the skin side, and excrement flowing out in the width direction is more reliably blocked.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining a modification of the second sheet 3.
- both end portions in the width direction of the second sheet 3 are folded back to the non-skin side, but not limited to this, both end portions in the width direction of the second sheet 3 as shown in FIG. However, it may be folded back to the skin side (top sheet 2 side).
- the folded portion of the second sheet 3 is not pressed against the absorbent body 4 and easily rises to the skin side. Therefore, since the both sides of the width direction of the napkin 1 can be raised to the skin side, the excrement which flowed out in the width direction is more reliably dammed up.
- the leakage of excrement from the napkin 1 can be suppressed because the fitting property to the peripheral part of the vaginal opening from the large labia to the buttocks is enhanced.
- the 1st compression part 7 is curving so that it may become convex on the inner side of the width direction, it is not restricted to this.
- the first compression unit 7 may be along the longitudinal direction, and the positional relationship between the first compression unit 7 and the folded end 3a of the second sheet 3 may be constant regardless of the position in the longitudinal direction.
- the folded end 3a of the second seat 3 is located on the inner side in the width direction than the first compression portion 7, the thickness of the central portion in the width direction of the napkin 1 is increased and the cushioning property is increased. Fit property improves and can suppress excretion leakage.
- seat 3 is large, the manufacturing process of the napkin 1 can be made easy.
- the folded end 3a of the second sheet 3 is positioned outside the first compression part 7 in the width direction, the thickness of the second sheet 3 in the first compression part 7 is reduced, so both sides of the napkin 1 in the width direction The part becomes easy to stand on the skin side, and excrement that flows out in the width direction is more reliably blocked.
- the material width of the second sheet 3 can be narrowed, the cost can be reduced.
- the planar shape of the absorber 4 is made into the bowl shape, it is not restricted to this.
- an hourglass shape may be used, and an oval shape or a quadrangle whose center portion in the longitudinal direction is not constricted may be used.
- the thickness of the part where the first compression part 7 is formed may be thicker than half of the maximum thickness of the part outside the first compression part 7 in the width direction.
- the end 20a in the width direction of the first adhesive 20 applied to the back sheet 5 coincides with the end 3b in the width direction of the second sheet 3 or is wider than the end 3b in the width direction of the second sheet 3. It may be located outside of.
- all of the two layer portions 30 of the second sheet 3 may be located on the outer side of the absorbent body 4 in the width direction.
- a sanitary napkin is used as an example of the absorbent article, but the present invention is not limited to this.
- the present invention can be applied to other absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, panty liners, and incontinence pads.

Abstract
