Description
紫外線硬化システムにおいて必須成分である光重合開始剤は、硬化後は高分子量体となって硬化膜に固定化される反応性モノマーとは異なり、硬化物中に光重合開始剤そのもの或いはこの分解物が残存する。現在流通する殆どの光重合開始剤は低分子量化合物であるために、残存する光重合開始剤そのもの或いはこの分解物もまた低分子量であり、これが従来より臭気等の原因となっていた。
さらに近年では該残存物が、硬化物と接した物質側に移行(マイグレーション)する恐れも指摘され、特に食品包装用印刷物に使用する紫外線硬化性インキでは、その残存物が食品と直接接する印刷物裏面にマイグレーションする恐れがあるとして、光重合開始剤のマイグレーションにかかる規制が年々厳しさを増してきている。
例えば、特許文献1および特許文献2では、分子中に複数の開始剤基を有するオリゴマー型の光重合開始剤が開示されている。本文献に開示の方法では、光重合開始剤をオリゴマー化することにより臭気やマイグレーションを低減できる効果がある。しかしながら、近年の規制に対しては、いまだその効果は不十分であった。

本発明のマイケル付加反応物は、前記した通り、前記一般式(1)で表されるマイケル付加供与体としての機能を有するα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)と、マイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)とのマイケル付加反応により得られるものである。
R1は脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、

斯かる一般式(2)中、X3及びX4は各々独立して、炭素原子数2~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基又はオキシアルキレン基を、X5は、単結合、-O-または-NH-を表す。X3及びX4は、具体的には、鎖状若しくは分岐状のメチレン基、エチレン基、プロピレン基、ブチレン基、オキシメチレン基、オキシプロピレン基、オキシブチレン基等があげられる。
ここで一般式(3)中、X6は置換基を有するか若しくは無置換の炭素原子数2~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基又はオキシアルキレン基を表し、R8およびR9は各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基を表す。ここで、X6における置換基とは、具体的には、鎖状若しくは分岐状のメチレン基、プロピレン基、ブチレン基、オキシメチレン基、オキシプロピレン基、オキシブチレン基等が挙げられる。
上記一般式(4)中のR10およびR11は、各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基である。斯かる脂肪族基又はアリール基としては、前記したR1~R7を構成する脂肪族基又はアリール基として例示したものが挙げられる。
なかでも硬化性の高さから、1個のピペラジニル基等の環状二級アミノ基を有するアミノアセトフェノン系の化合物である、構造式(14)、構造式(15)、構造式(17)、構造式(18)、構造式(20)、構造式(21)、構造式(23)、構造式(24)、構造式(25)が好ましく、特に構造式(14)、構造式(15)、構造式(23)、構造式(24)が好ましい。
方法1は、芳香核上にハロゲン原子を持つアルキルアセトフェノンを、2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y1-H)と反応させ、次いでカルボニル基のα位に臭素原子を導入し、次いで、2級モノアミン化合物(HN(R2)(R3))を反応させ、次いで、置換基(-X1-X2-OR)を芳香核上の置換基として有するベンジルブロミドを反応させる。ここで、Rはアルキル基である。次いで、これをアルカリで処理して末端に水酸基(又は知オール基)を持つ中間体である化合物(A)を製造する。更に、これに2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)を反応させ、目的とするα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)を製造することができる。この際、中間体である化合物(A)と2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)との反応において、2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)が活性水素を持つジアミン化合物である場合には、該化合物の一方のアミノ基を、オキシカルボニル基等で保護した化合物を用い、次いで、酸で処理して保護基を除去する方法を用いてもよい。
方法2は、ハロゲン化ベンゼンと、酸ハライド化合物とを反応させて、カルボニルのα炭素原子上にハロゲン原子を持ち、かつ、芳香核上にハロゲン原子を持つアルキルアセトフェノンを合成し、次いで、2級モノアミン化合物(HN(R2)(R3))を反応させ、次いで2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y1-H)と反応さる。次いで、置換基(-X1-X2-OR)を芳香核上の置換基として有するベンジルブロミドを反応させて(ここで、Rはアルキル基である。)、アルカリで処理して末端に水酸基(又は知オール基)を持つ中間体化合物(A)を製造する。更に、これに2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)を反応させ、目的とするα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)を製造することができる。この際、中間体化合物(A)と2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)との反応において、2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)が活性水素を持つジアミン化合物である場合には、方法1の場合と同様に、該化合物の一方のアミノ基を、オキシカルボニル基等で保護した化合物を用い、次いで、酸で処理して保護基を除去する方法を用いてもよい。
方法3は、ハロゲン化ベンゼンと、酸ハライド化合物とを反応させて、カルボニルのα炭素原子上にハロゲン原子を持ち、かつ、芳香核上にハロゲン原子を持つアルキルアセトフェノンを合成し、次いで、2級モノアミン化合物(HN(R2)(R3))を反応させる。次いで置換基(-X1-X2-OR)を芳香核上の置換基として有するベンジルブロミドを反応させて(ここで、Rはアルキル基である。)、アルカリで処理して末端に水酸基(又はチオール基)を持つ化合物を合成し、これに対して、2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y1-H)と反応、次いで、に2級アミノ基含有化合物(Y2-H)を反応させ、目的とするα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)を製造することができる。

上記一般式(4’)中のR10およびR11は、各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基であり、斯かる脂肪族基又はアリール基としては、前記一般式(1)中のR1~R7を構成する脂肪族基又はアリール基として例示したものが挙げられる。
ここで用いることのできるマイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)は、光硬化性基を複数有する多官能性の反応性化合物が、光硬化機能が特に良好なものとなる点から好ましい。
本発明において、前記α-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)と、前記マイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)とのマイケル付加反応は、特に限定されることなく、公知慣用の反応条件で行うことができる。一般的な方法としては、前記α-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)と前記マイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)とを、反応容器中、0~150℃で混合する方法が挙げられ、触媒や溶媒を使用することもできる。
光硬化性を有する反応性化合物としては、前述と同様の、エチレン性二重結合を有するマレイミド化合物、マレイン酸エステル化合物、フマル酸エステル化合物、(メタ)アクリレート化合物等が挙げられるが、材料入手の容易さと硬化速度の観点から(メタ)アクリレート化合物が好ましい。
また、有機顔料としては、アゾ顔料(アゾレーキ、不溶性アゾ顔料、縮合アゾ顔料、キレートアゾ顔料などを含む)、多環式顔料(例えば、フタロシアニン顔料、ペリレン顔料、ペリノン顔料、アントラキノン顔料、キナクリドン顔料、ジオキサジン顔料、チオインジゴ顔料、イソインドリノン顔料、キノフラロン顔料など)、染料キレート(例えば、塩基性染料型キレート、酸性染料型キレートなど)、ニトロ顔料、ニトロソ顔料、アニリンブラック、各種の蛍光顔料、金属粉顔料等公知公用の各種顔料を使用することができる。
本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性樹脂組成物を得るには、前記各成分を混合すればよく、混合の順序や方法は特に限定されない。例えば、前記各成分を常温から100℃の間で、ニーダー、三本ロール、サンドミル、ゲートミキサー、超音波ホモジナイザー、高圧ホモジナイザー、ペイントシェーカー、サンドグラインダー、ダイノーミル、ディスパーマット、ビーズミル、SCミル、ナノマイザーなどの練肉、混合、調製機などを用いて得ることができる。
本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性樹脂組成物は、活性エネルギー線により重合・硬化することができる。ここで使用する活性エネルギー線とは、紫外線、電子線、α線、β線、γ線のような電離放射線、マイクロ波、高周波、可視光線、赤外線、レーザー光線等を言う。なかでも紫外線が好ましい。
光発生源としては、例えば、低圧水銀ランプ、高圧水銀ランプ、超高圧水銀ランプ、メタルハライドランプ、ケミカルランプ、ブラックライトランプ、水銀-キセノンランプ、エキシマーランプ、ショートアーク灯、ヘリウム・カドミニウムレーザー、アルゴンレーザー、エキシマーレーザー、LEDランプが挙げられる。
紫外線照射量は使用する光源の種類や本発明のマイケル付加反応物の量の影響を受けるため一概に決められないが、生産性の面から10~2000J/m2の範囲が好ましい。
本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物は、重合あるいは架橋反応を利用した印刷インキ、インクジェット記録用インキ、塗料、成形樹脂、注型樹脂、光造形用樹脂、封止剤、歯科用重合レジン、印刷版用感光性樹脂、印刷用カラープルーフ、カラーフィルター用レジスト、ブラックマトリクス用レジスト、液晶用フォトスペーサー、リアプロジェクション用スクリーン材料、光ファイバー、プラズマディスプレー用リブ材、ドライフィルムレジスト、プリント基板用レジスト、ソルダーレジスト、半導体用フォトレジスト、マイクロエレクトロニクス用レジスト、マイクロマシン用部品製造用レジスト、エッチングレジスト、マイクロレンズアレー、絶縁材、ホログラム材料、光学スイッチ、導波路用材料、オーバーコート剤、粉末コーティング、接着剤、粘着剤、離型剤、光記録媒体、粘接着剤、剥離コート剤、マイクロカプセルを用いた画像記録材料のための組成物、各種デバイスなどが挙げられる。
本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物をコーティング塗料として使用する場合は、前記添加剤や着色剤の他、シリコンやポリアミド等の流動性調節剤、シリカや酸化チタンや酸化亜鉛等の無機微粒子、シリコン系やフッ素系やアクリル系等の各種レベリング剤、紫外線吸収剤、タレ止め剤、増粘剤などの各種添加剤を、通常用いられている量で配合することができる。
本発明において印刷インキとは、版を使用した印刷方法に使用するインキを総称したものである。
本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物を印刷インキとして使用する場合は、前記添加剤や着色剤の他、各種バインダー樹脂を利用することができる。ここで述べるバインダー樹脂とは、適切な顔料親和性と分散性を有し、印刷インキに要求されるレオロジー特性を有する樹脂全般を示しており、例えば非反応性樹脂としては、ジアリルフタレート樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、石油樹脂、ロジンエステル樹脂、ポリ(メタ)アクリル酸エステル、セルロース誘導体、塩化ビニルー酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリアマイド樹脂、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂、ブタジエンーアクリルニトリル共重合体等を挙げることができ、または樹脂分子中に少なくとも1つ以上の重合性基を有するエポキシアクリレート化合物、ウレタンアクリレート化合物、ポリエステルアクリレート化合物等を使用することもでき、これらバインダー樹脂化合物は、単独で使用しても、いずれか1種以上を組合せて使用してもよい。
一方、本発明の活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物を、版を使用しないインクジェット記録用インキに使用する場合には、上記活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物100質量部に対し、顔料0.1~30質量部、上記バインダー樹脂化合物0~20質量部、(メタ)アクリレート誘導体および/または低粘度モノマー40~90なる組成にて使用できるが、印刷物の色濃度およびインキ吐出適性のバランスから、上記活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物100質量部に対し、顔料0.2~20質量部、上記バインダー樹脂化合物0~10質量部、アクリレート誘導体および/または低粘度モノマー50~80であることが好ましい。このようにして得たインクジェット記録用インキは、使用するインクジェット装置にもよるが、通常1~100mPa.s(25℃)となるように設計することが好ましい。

(実施例1)化合物(5’)[2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-モルホリノフェニル)-2-(4-カルノキシベンジル)ブタン-1-オン]の合成
攪拌終了後、反応液を氷水1L中へ投入し、2時間攪拌を続けた。静置後分液し、下層を回収した。2N塩酸で2回洗浄し、飽和炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液で1回洗浄し、飽和食塩水で2回洗浄した。硫酸マグネシウムで一昼夜乾燥させた後、ジクロロメタンを減圧留去し、2-ブロモ-1-(4-フルオロフェニル)-1-ブタノン(101)を得た。

攪拌機、温度計、冷却管を備えた300mLフラスコに上記に記載で得られた2-メチルドデシルアミノ-1-(4-メチルピペラジノフェニル)ブタンー1-オン(210)22.2gと2-(4-ブロモメチル)フェニルプロピオン酸メチル(107)13.5gとIPAの50mLを仕込み、50℃で3時間攪拌した。その後、8M水酸化ナトリウム水溶液の16mLを添加し、50℃で1時間攪拌して反応を完結させた。塩酸水溶液を用いてpH5.7に調製した後、IPAを留去した。濃縮残渣を酢酸エチルで抽出し、水で2回、飽和食塩水で1回洗浄した。酢酸エチルを減圧留去後、粗生成物をカラムクロマトグラフィーにて精製し、淡黄色油状の化合物(11’)(2-メチルドデシルアミノ-1-(4-メチルピペラジノフェニル)-2-(4-(1-ヒドロキシ-1-オキソプロパン-2-イル)ベンジル)ブタン-1-オン)を得た。

撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた1Lの三口フラスコに、実施例1で得られた化合物(5’)[2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-モルホリノフェニル)-2-(4-カルノキシベンジル)ブタン-1-オン]41.0gと、1mLのN,N-ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)と100mLの塩化メチレンを加えて溶解し、これに13.1gの塩化チオニルを滴下して2時間反応させた。更に、5.91gの1,6-ヘキサンジオールを加え、この混合溶液を2Lの三口フラスコに加えられた30.3gのトリエチルアミンと300mLの塩化メチレンに滴下し、室温で1時間攪拌した。反応終了後、塩化メチレンで抽出し、水洗を2回した後、有機層を無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、有機溶媒を減圧留去して化合物(M’1;n=6)の粗生成物を得た。シリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーにより精製し、40.1gの化合物(M’1;n=6)を得た。(収率89%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、10.0gのポリエチレングリコール(PEG-200/平均分子量200;三洋化成工業株式会社)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って38.3gの化合物(M’2)を合成した。(収率78%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、12.5gのポリテトラヒドロフラン(平均分子量250)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って45.8gの化合物(M’4;n=3)を合成した。(収率89%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、8.87gのEO変性トリメチロールプロパン(TMP-30;日本乳化剤株式会社)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って40.8gの化合物(M’7;n=3)を合成した。(収率85%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、7.81gのEO変性ペンタエリスリトール(PNT-40;日本乳化剤株式会社)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って43.9gの化合物(M’9;n=1)を合成した。(収率93%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、14.4gの4-ヒドロキシブチルアクリレート(4-HBA;大阪有機化学工業株式会社)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って44.5gの化合物(M’11)を合成した。(収率83%)得られた化合物(M’11)の1H-NMRチャート図を図5に示す。
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、24.6gのトリプロピレンオキシドモノアクリレートを使用した以外は、実施例6の記載の方法に従って51.3gの化合物(M’12)を合成した。(収率80%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、37.4gのEO変性(3)トリメチロールプロパンジアクリレートを使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って69.5gの化合物(M’13)を合成した。(収率91%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、53.6gのEO変性(5)ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(MIRAMER M4003:MIWON Specialty Co.,Ltd)を使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って75.4gの化合物(M’14)を合成した。(収率81%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、15.0gの1,6-ヘキサンジチオールを使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って34.5gの化合物(M’15)を合成した。(収率74%)
実施例8の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールの代わりに、11.6gの1,6-ヘキサンジアミンを使用した以外は、実施例8の記載の方法に従って39.3gの化合物(M’17;n=6)を合成した。(収率86%)
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた2Lの三口フラスコに、実施例1で得られた化合物(5’)[2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-モルホリノフェニル)-2-(4-カルノキシベンジル)ブタン-1-オン]41.0gと、11.5gの1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル(EX-212;ナガセケムテックス株式会社)と2gのテトラアンモニウムブロミドと500mLのアセトニトリルを入れ、加熱還流下で10時間反応させた。反応終了後、室温まで放冷し、塩化メチレンで抽出し、5%炭酸水素ナトリウムで2回、水で1回洗浄した。有機層を無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、有機溶媒を減圧留去して化合物(M19;n=6)の粗生成物を得た。シリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーにより精製し、46.2gの化合物(M’19;n=6)を得た。(収率88%)
実施例19の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテルの代わりに、21.3gのグリシジルメタクリレート(GMA)を使用した以外は、実施例19の記載の方法に従って45.2gの化合物(M’23)を合成した。(収率82%)
実施例19の合成において、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテルの代わりに、30.0gの4-ヒドロキシブチルアクリレートグリシジルエーテル(4HBAGE;日本化成株式会社)を使用した以外は、実施例19の記載の方法に従って48.9gの化合物(M’23)を合成した。(収率81%)

攪拌機、温度計、滴下ロートを備えた300mLフラスコに、実施例2で得られた2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-モルホリノフェニル)-2-(4-カルボキシベンジル)ブタン-1-オン(5’)の28.9gと1mLのN,N-ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)と100mLの塩化メチレンを加えて溶解し、これに16.8gの塩化チオニルを滴下して2時間反応させた。
反応溶液を減圧濃縮し、濃縮残渣を50mLのジクロロメタンに溶解して酸クロリドのジクロロメタン溶液を調製した。攪拌機、温度計、滴下ロートを備えた別の500mLフラスコにピペラジン30.3gと200mLの塩化メチレンを加えて溶解し、これに前述の酸クロリドのジクロロメタン溶液を30分かけて滴下した。30分間攪拌して反応を完結させ、1M-水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を添加して反応を停止させた。反応液を分液ロートに移し、有機層を2回水洗した後、硫酸マグネシウムで、一昼夜乾燥させた。ジクロロメタンを減圧留去し、化合物(14)(2-ジメチルアミノ-1-(4-(モルホリノ)フェニル)-2-(4-(ピペラジニル-1-カルボニル)ベンジル)ブタン-1-オン)を得た。得られた化合物(14)の1H-NMRチャート図を図7に示す。

撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコにジトリメチロールプロパンテトラアクリレート(日本化薬(株)製「KAYARAD T1420」)32g及び合成例(1)で得られた化合物(5)8gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M2))40gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.1であった。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコにエチレンオキシド変性トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート(東亞合成(株)製「アロニックスM-350」)28g及び合成例(1)で得られた化合物(5)12gを加えて80℃で撹拌後、1,8-ジアザビシクロ[5.4.0]ウンデセン1gを徐々に添加した。同温で6時間撹拌して本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M3))40gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:2.6であった。

撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコに、トリプロピレングリコールジアクリレート(東亞合成(株)製「アロニックスM-220」)18.1g及び合成例(5)で得られた化合物(14)12gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M12))30.1gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.8であった。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコに、エチレンオキシド変性ペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレート(MIWON社製「Miramer4004」)12.5g及び合成例6で得られた化合物(15)15.0gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M13))27.5gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.0であった。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコに、エチレンオキシド変性トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート(東亞合成(株)製「アロニックスM-350」)15.0g及び合成例7で得られた化合物(18)16.9gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M14))31.9gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.2であった。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコに、エチレンオキシド変性ペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレート(MIWON社製「Miramer4004」)11.0g及び合成例8で得られた化合物(23)10.0gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M15))21.0gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.0であった。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコに、エチレンオキシド変性トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート(東亞合成(株)製「アロニックスM-350」)14.3g及び合成例9で得られた化合物(24)12gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、本発明のマイケル付加反応物(前記の化合物(M16))26.3gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.0であった。
2-メチル-2-モルホリン-4-イル-1-(4-ピペラジニルフェニル)プロパン-1-オン(26)の合成 (特許文献3 段落[0067]合成例2の化合物)
次に撹拌機、コンデンサ、熱電対、窒素導入管及び滴下チューブを備えた300mLの四つ口フラスコにピペラジン68gを加え、窒素気流下、160℃に加温した。これに(43)23gをシリンジポンプにて4mL/hの速度で5時間15分かけて滴下後、同温で更に24時間撹拌した。冷却後、反応混合物をジクロロメタン400mLに溶解、水100mLで洗浄して有機層を分離した。水層をジクロロメタン100mLで2回洗浄し、得られた全ての有機層を濃縮して2-メチル-2-ピペラジニル-1-(4-ピペラジニルフェニル)プロパン-1-オン(26)36gを得た。
撹拌機、コンデンサ及び熱電対を備えた100mLの三口フラスコにエチレンオキシド変性ペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレート(MIWON社製Miramer4004)32g及び比較合成例(1)で得られた2-メチル-2-ピペラジニル-1-(4-ピペラジニルフェニル)プロパン-1-オン(26)8gを加え、室温で24時間撹拌して、マイケル付加反応物(H1)40gを得た。反応仕込み時のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基とマイケル受容機能を有する基の比率は1:4.8であった。
〔活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキの製造方法〕
表1に示す組成に従って原料を配合し、ミキサーで均一に撹拌した後に三本ロールミルにて練肉製造することで、印刷インキ用のベースインキを製造した。
その後、表2~表8に示す組成に従って、ベースインキに、実施例1~37、比較例1で製造した各種光重合開始剤、又はその他市販の光重合開始剤を配合し、ミキサーで均一に撹拌した後に再度三本ロールミルにて練肉製造し、実施例及び比較例の活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキを製造した。
前記得た活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキを、簡易展色機(RIテスター、豊栄精工社製)を用い、インキ0.10mlを使用して、RIテスターのゴムロール及び金属ロール上に均一に引き伸ばし、ミルクカートン紙(ポリエチレンラミネート紙)の表面に、藍濃度1.6(X-Rite社製「SpectroEye」濃度計で計測)で均一に塗布されるように展色し、印刷物を作製した。なおRIテスターとは、紙やフィルムにインキを展色する試験機であり、インキの転移量や印圧を調整することが可能である。
活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキ塗布後の印刷物に紫外線(UV)照射を行い、インキ皮膜を硬化乾燥させた。水冷メタルハライドランプ(出力100W/cm1灯)およびベルトコンベアを搭載したUV照射装置(アイグラフィックス社製、コールドミラー付属)を使用し、印刷物をコンベア上に載せ、ランプ直下(照射距離11cm)を以下に述べる所定条件で通過させた。各条件における紫外線照射量は紫外線積算光量系(ウシオ電機社製UNIMETER UIT-150-A/受光機UVD-C365)を用いて測定した。
インキ塗布後の印刷物を上述のUV照射装置を用いてコンベア速度50m/min.で4回UV照射することによりインキ層を硬化させた。本条件における紫外線積算光量は約200mJ/cm2であった。硬化直後に硬化インキ層を爪で擦ることにより(耐スクラッチ試験)、インキのUV硬化性を評価した。
◎:強い力で擦っても傷が付かず、UV硬化性は良好である
○:強い力で擦ると僅かに傷が付く
△:強い力で擦ると明確に傷が付く
×:弱い力で擦っても明確に傷が付き、UV硬化性は不良である
低マイグレーション性の評価に関しては、基本的な評価手順は欧州印刷インキ評議会であるEuPIA(European Printing Ink Association)のガイドライン(EuPIA Guideline on Printing Inks、applied to the non-food contact surface of food packaging materials and articles、November 2011(Replaces the September 2009 version))に準拠した。
プレス後にミルクカートン白紙を取り外して成形し、1000ml容積の液体容器を作製した。この液体容器においてインキ成分の移行した裏面は内側に面している。次に擬似液体食品として用意したエタノール水溶液(エタノール95重量%と純水5重量%の混合溶液)1000mlを液体容器に注ぎ密閉した。なお、本条件においてエタノール水溶液1000mlと接触する液体容器内面の総面積はおよそ600cm2であった。密閉した液体容器を室温25℃雰囲気下で24時間静置し、ミルクカートン白紙裏面に移行したインキ成分をエタノール水溶液中に抽出した。
○:光重合開始剤の溶出濃度は5ppb以上~15ppb未満である。
△:光重合開始剤の溶出濃度は15ppb以上~30ppb未満である。
×:光重合開始剤の溶出濃度は30ppb以上であり、低マイグレーション性は不良である。

・SR355NS:ジトリメチロールプロパンテトラアクリレート、サートマー社製
・DPHA:ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート、サートマー社製
・HELIOGEN BLUE D7079:ピグメントブルー15:3、BASF社製
・タンサンマグネシウムTT:塩基性炭酸マグネシウム、ナイカイ塩業社製
・S-381-N1:ポリオレフィンワックス、シャムロック社製
・ステアラーTBH:2-tert-ブチルヒドロキノン、精工化学社製
である。
前記硬化方法で硬化させた印刷物を縦5cm横2.5cmに切り取り、この切片を10枚用意した。この切片10枚を素早く外径40mm、高さ75mm、口内径20.1mm、容量50mlのコレクションバイアルに入れ、ふたを閉めて60℃の恒温槽に1時間保管し、コレクションバイアル中に臭気を充満させた。つぎに、このコレクションバイアルを室温になるまで放置し、臭気の強さを評価するモニター10名により、各サンプルの臭気の強さを10段階で評価した。
10名の臭気評価結果を平均し、そのサンプルの臭気の強さとした。なお、数値が高い方が、低臭であることを意味している。

(ポリエチレングリコールジ{β-4-[4-(2-ジメチルアミノ-2-ベンジル)ブタノイルフェニル]ピペラジン}プロピオネート 平均分子量910)、Insight High Tecnology社製
表9に示す組成に従って原料を配合し、ミキサーで均一に撹拌した後にビーズミルにて4時間処理することでミルベースを製造した。
次に、表10に示す組成に従って、得たミルベースとその他の原料を配合し、ミキサーで均一に撹拌することで、インクジェットベースインキを製造した。
最後に、表11~表17に示す組成に従って、インクジェットベースインキに、実施例1~37、比較例1で製造した各種光重合開始剤、又はその他市販の光重合開始剤を配合し、ミキサーで均一に撹拌することで、実施例及び比較例の活性エネルギー線硬化型インクジェット記録用インキを製造した。
得られた活性エネルギー線硬化型インクジェット記録用インキを、インクジェットプリンター(コニカミノルタ製インクジェット試験機EB100)で、ミルクカートン紙(ポリエチレンラミネート紙)の表面に、評価用プリンターヘッドKM512L(吐出量42pl)を用いて、藍濃度1.6(X-Rite社製SpectroEye濃度計で計測)でベタテストパターンを印刷し、印刷物を作製した。
インクジェット記録用インキ塗布後の印刷物に紫外線(UV)照射を行い、インキ皮膜を硬化乾燥させた。水冷メタルハライドランプ(出力100W/cm1灯)およびベルトコンベアを搭載したUV照射装置(アイグラフィックス社製、コールドミラー付属)を使用し、印刷物をコンベア上に載せ、ランプ直下(照射距離11cm)を以下に述べる所定条件で通過させた。各条件における紫外線照射量は紫外線積算光量系(ウシオ電機社製UNIMETER UIT-150-A/受光機UVD-C365)を用いて測定した。
インキ塗布後の印刷物を上述のUV照射装置を用いてコンベア速度50m/min.で8回UV照射することによりインキ層を硬化させた。本条件における紫外線積算光量は約400mJ/cm2であった。硬化直後に硬化インキ層を爪で擦ることにより(耐スクラッチ試験)、インキのUV硬化性を評価した。
◎:強い力で擦っても傷が付かず、UV硬化性は良好である
○:強い力で擦ると僅かに傷が付く
△:強い力で擦ると明確に傷が付く
×:弱い力で擦っても明確に傷が付き、UV硬化性は不良である

一方、比較例1で得た特許文献3に記載のマイケル付加反応物を光重合開始剤に使用した活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物は、活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキ、インクジェット記録用インキ共、耐マイグレーション性は良好であったが、やや硬化性に劣る結果となった。「イルガキュア379」、「イルガキュア907」、「Omnipol910」を使用した活性エネルギー線硬化性印刷インキ、インクジェット記録用インキは、耐マイグレーション性に劣る結果となった。

Claims (13)
- 下記一般式(1)で表されるマイケル付加供与体としての機能を有するα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)と、マイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)とのマイケル付加反応により得られる化合物。
一般式(1)
(一般式(1)中、
R1は脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、
R2~R3は各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、
またR2とR3とはそれぞれ一体となって環を形成してもよく、
R4~R7は各々独立して水素原子または脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、
X1は単結合又は炭素原子数1~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基を表し、
X2はカルボニル基、チオカルボニル基を表し、
Y1は下記一般式(2)、一般式(3)又は一般式(4)で表される基を表し、
Y2は下記一般式(2)又は一般式(3)で表される基を表す。但し、Y1及びY2が共に一般式(2)で表される構造を有する場合は、その少なくとも一方のX5は-NH-である。)

(一般式(2)中、X3及びX4は各々独立して、炭素原子数2~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基又はオキシアルキレン基を、X5は、単結合、-O-または-NH-を表す。)
一般式(3)
(一般式(3)中、X6は置換基を有するか若しくは無置換の炭素原子数2~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基又はオキシアルキレン基を表し、R8およびR9は各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基を表す。)
一般式(4)
(一般式(4)中、R10およびR11は各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基を表す。) - 前記マイケル受容体としての機能を有する反応性化合物(II)が、多官能型(メタ)アクリレート化合物である請求項1に記載の化合物。
- (前記マイケル付加供与体としての機能を有するα-アミノアセトフェノン骨格含有化合物(I)のマイケル付加供与機能を有する基の数)/(前記反応性化合物のマイケル受容機能を有する基の数)が1/20~1/2の範囲である請求項1又は2に記載の化合物。
- 一般式(1’)で表されることを特徴とする化合物。

(一般式(1’)中、R1は脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、
R2~R3は各々独立して脂肪族基又はアリール基を表し、また
R2とR3とはそれぞれ一体となって環を形成してもよく、
R4~R7は各々独立して水素原子または脂肪族基又は置換基を有してもよいアリール基を表し、
X1は単結合又は炭素原子数1~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基を表し、
X2はカルボニル基またはチオカルボニル基を表し、
Y1は一般式(2’)、一般式(3’)、又は一般式(4’)で表される基を表し、
Zはヒドロキシ基、チオール基を表す。)
(一般式(2’)中、X3~X4は各々独立して、炭素原子数2~6の直鎖状若しくは分岐状のアルキレン基又はオキシアルキレン基を表し、X5は、-O-、または-NH-を表す。)
