特許文献1には、特に乳房マッサージに好適なマッサージ用オイルとして、食用または食品添加用の油剤、食用可溶化剤、多価アルコール、水を主成分とするゲル状のマッサージ用オイルが提案されている。油剤にはツバキ油、ホホバ油などの天然植物油、可溶化剤には各種のグリセリン脂肪酸エステル等を用い、さらにビタミン類、天然色素などが添加される。このような成分からなるマッサージ用オイルは、潤滑性を保持しながら経口摂取しても無害であり乳房マッサージ用に好適なものとされている。
一方で、本発明者は、植物油との相乗効果を齎す天然鉱石粉末による遠赤外線効果、マイナスイオン効果や、天然鉱石に含まれるミネラル元素による健康増進効果等の施術効果が期待できるマッサージ用オイルの作製を模索してきた。
また、好ましい形態では、植物油との相乗効果を齎す天然鉱石粉末による遠赤外線効果、マイナスイオン効果や、天然鉱石に含まれるミネラル元素による健康増進効果等の施術効果が期待できるマッサージ用オイルを提供することを本発明の解決しようとする第2の課題とする。
さらに、施術者の熟練度に依存せず、家庭でも質の高い施術を可能とするマッサージ用オイル並びに発明手技を提供することを第3の課題とする。
これらの植物性オイルは、鉱石粉末と相性が良く皮膚への吸収性に優れており、効能が高まる。
良性腫瘍が消滅したとの報告は、他にも2件程あった。
玄武岩は、石英の副作用的部分を補い他鉱石との相乗効果のバランスを取るものと考えられる。玄武岩は殺菌力が強いという利点もある。
未だ科学的には実証されていないが、ケイ酸塩鉱物、特に複雑な構造を有するトルマリン(電気石)は、自律神経失調症の改善、精神の安定、メニエール症の治療に効果があるとも言われている。更に摩擦や温熱を加えることにより、大量のマイナスイオンを発生するとされ、含有するマグネシウムには、細胞の活性化、筋肉の収縮や神経系統の調整をし、造血作用を促すとされ、実際にマッサージの効果を高めた。ケイ酸塩鉱物から発生する微弱電流も、血流やリンパ液の促進に効果を齎すものと考えられる。
ここで、鉱石抽出エキスとは、粉砕した鉱石を水又は水溶液もしくはオイルに含浸させ、その上清を回収することによって得ることができる。
ベースオイルと鉱石粉末の比率を前記範囲とすることによって、マッサージ用オイルの使用性が向上する。
ベースオイルと鉱石粉末の重量比率は、前記範囲内であれば、被施術者の体質や体調、抱えている身体的な悩み、疾患に合わせて適宜調整することができる。
以下、本発明のマッサージ用オイルにおける各成分の配合比率を例示する。
凝りが酷い場合や痛みの強い部位、または、火傷や傷に湿布する際は、鉱石粉末の配合比率を高め、前記重量比が好ましくは5:3~5:5、より好ましくは5:4~5:5、さらに好ましくは5:4.5~5:5のオイルを使用する。
本発明のマッサージ用オイルは各成分の相乗効果により、それぞれの成分を単独で配合したオイルよりも顕著に優れた効果・効能を発揮する。そのため、上述のように被施術者の状態に合わせて各成分の配合比率を高めることによって、非常に効果的に被施術者の身体的な苦痛や不安を取り除くことができる。
なお、本発明において粒径とは90%粒子径のことを言い、顕微鏡によって測定することができる。
本発明のマッサージ用オイルは、50℃程度に温めて使用することが好ましい。
このように温めて使用することによって、マイナスイオンや遠赤外線効果を高めると共に、皮膚への浸透性を高めることができ、また、リラクゼーション効果を高めることができる。
このように温めた本発明のマッサージ用オイルを、一般的なマッサージで用いられる量よりも多く肌に塗布し、ゆっくりと肌に馴染ませていき、温熱を維持する為にも徐々に摩擦や圧をくわえながら表層部の凝りをとっていく。
しばらく施術を続けると、深層部から凝りの塊が出現する。この段階で、天然鉱石粉末を濃厚に含むマッサージ用オイル(原液)をさらに塗布し、強めの圧を加える。深層部の凝りが取れたことを確認した後、ゆっくりとリンパの流れにそって、リラクゼーションを促す。
ここで原液とは、1重量部のベースオイルに対して、1重量部を上限として天然鉱石粉末を添加した濃厚なオイルのことである。そして、本試験例において使用した原液に含まれる天然鉱石粉末は、粒径10μm以下の石英粉末、粒径10μm以下の玄武岩粉末、粒径10μm以下のケイ酸塩鉱物粉末、粒径10μm以下の黒鉛珪石粉末から選ばれる少なくとも1種である。どの天然鉱石を含む原液を使用するかは、天然鉱石の持つ効果・効能と被施術者の状態を照らし合わせながら決定する。
また、手で混合して製造する場合には、まず適量のベースオイル中に鉱石粉末を均一に分散させた後、手で混錬しながら徐々にベースオイルを追加し、鉱石粉末の含有量が好ましい範囲となるように調整しながら製造することが好ましい。
本発明のマッサージ用オイルがもたらす健康増進効果を実証するため、実際にマッサージ用オイルを用いた手技によるマッサージの施術を行い、その施術によって被施術者の身体に現れる変化を観察した。
[本発明のマッサージ用オイル]
エクストラ・バージン・オリーブオイル90g、ピーナッツオイル90g、キャスターオイル10gを調合して植物性オイルからなるベースオイルを作製した。
このベースオイルに、10μm以下の石英粉末5g、粒径10μm以下の黒鉛珪石粉末1g、粒径10μm以下のケイ酸塩鉱物粉末2gを投入し混練して、本発明のマッサージ用オイル(実施例1)を得た。
[本発明のマッサージ用オイル]
エクストラ・バージン・オリーブオイル80g、ピーナッツオイル80g、キャスターオイル20gを調合して植物性オイルからなるベースオイルを作製した。
このベースオイルに、粒径10μm以下の石英粉末10g、粒径10μm以下の黒鉛珪石粉末1g、粒径10μm以下のケイ酸塩鉱物粉末5g、粒径10μm以下の玄武岩粉末5gを投入し混練して、本発明のマッサージ用オイル(実施例2)を得た。
化学溶剤を用いないエクストラ・バージン・オリーブオイルを比較例1のマッサージ用オイルとして用意した。比較例1のオイルは、人肌程度に温めた状態で用いた。
40人の被施術者に対して実施例1及び比較例1のマッサージ用オイルを用いて施術を行った。
なお、実施例1のマッサージ用オイルを用いた施術に関しては、被施術者の状態に応じて、被施術者の健康増進に寄与する効能を持つ各種天然鉱石を含有する原液を肌上に追加で塗布しながら行った。原液とは、天然鉱石粉末を濃厚に含有するオイルである。本試験例においては、植物性オイル1重量部に対して、1重量部を上限として天然鉱石粉末を含む原液を使用した。
施術後、実施例1及び比較例1のマッサージ用オイルを使用した施術について、被施術者に評価させた。評価は以下の3つの項目について、以下の基準により行った。結果は表1に示す。
・評価項目1:リラクゼーション効果について
A:実施例1のオイルの方が圧倒的にリラクゼーションを深く感じた
B:実施例1のオイルの方が、リラクゼーション効果を感じた
C:比較例1のオイルとの差を感じなかった
・評価項目2:温感について
A:実施例1のオイルの方が、圧倒的に温感を得、温感が長く続いた
B:実施例1のオイルの方が、明らかに温感を感じた
C:比較例1のオイルとの差を感じなかった
・評価項目3:凝りや痛みの改善効果
A:実施例1のオイルの方が、凝りや痛みに非常に良く効いた
B:実施例1のオイルの方が、凝りや痛みに効いた
C:比較例1のオイルとの差を感じなかった
この結果より、本発明のマッサージ用オイルは、リラクゼーション効果、温感、そして凝りや痛みの改善効果に優れていることが実証された。
実施例2のマッサージ用オイルを用いて8人のプロのオイルマッサージセラピストに施術を行わせ、以下の3つの項目について評価をさせた。なお、実施例2のマッサージ用オイルを用いた施術に際しても、試験例1と同様に、原液を肌上に追加で塗布しながら行った。評価基準は以下に示す。結果は表2に示す。
・評価項目1:一般オイルに比べ明らかに凝りがほぐれやすく施術しやすいと感じたか
A非常にそう思う Bそう思う Cややそう思う D全く感じなかった。
・評価項目2:自分自身がリラックスし、気持ちよく施術が出来たか
A非常にそう感じた Bそう感じた Cややそう感じた D 全く感じなかった
・評価項目3:自分自身の施術の疲れをカバーできると感じたか
A非常にそう思う Bそう思う Cややそう思う Dそう思わない。
この結果は、本発明のマッサージ用オイルは、施術者に効果的な施術を可能にさせ、また、被施術者自身に対してもリラックス効果と疲労軽減効果を発揮することを示している。
実施例2のマッサージ用オイルを常温のまま、ごく薄く塗布した状態で、汗をかきにくい体質の被験者14名を岩盤浴に入浴させ、実施例2のマッサージ用オイルの発汗促進作用について、以下の基準によって評価させた。結果は表3に示す。
A:非常に気持ちよく発汗し、着衣後も冷めにくかった。
B:普段より発汗したのを明らかに感じた。
C:若干多めの発汗がみられた。
D:通常と変化を感じなかった。
この結果は、本発明のマッサージ用オイルが発汗促進作用を有していることを示している。
化学溶剤を用いない低温圧搾工程で抽出されたエクストラ・バージン・オリーブオイル40g、ピーナッツオイル40g、キャスターオイル20gを調合してベースオイルを作製した。
このベースオイルに、粒径10μm以下の石英粉末5g、粒径10μm以下のケイ酸塩鉱物粉末2.5g、粒径10μm以下の玄武岩2.5gを投入し混練して、実施例3のマッサージ用オイルを得た。
被施術者の背中に実施例3のマッサージ用オイルを使用し、試験例1と同様、原液を併用しながら施術を行った。また、その翌日に被施術者の背中に比較例1のマッサージ用オイルを使用し、施術を行った。
実施例3のオイルと比較例1のオイルによる施術は同等の圧や摩擦で行った。
結果を図1に示す。ただし、画像はグレースケール処理をしており、原画像はカラー画像である。
一方、実施例3のマッサージ用オイルを使用して施術を行うと、施術直後には背中の表面温度の著しい上昇が観察された。そして、施術1時間後までも背中の表面温度が高く維持されていることが観察された。
この結果は、原液を併用しながら本発明のオイルを使用して施術を行うことにより、体を温め、この状態を維持する顕著な効果が得られることを示している。
化学溶剤を用いない低温圧搾工程で抽出されたエクストラパージン・オリーブオイル100g、ピーナッツオイル100g、キャスターオイル80gを調合してベースオイルを作製した。
このベースオイルに、粒径10μm以下の石英粉末15g、粒径10μm以下の玄武岩粉末10g、粒径10μm以下のケイ酸塩鉱物粉末10gを投入し混練して、実施例4のマッサージ用オイルを得た。
比較例2としてホホバ、オリーブ、セサミオイルを配合する一般的なマッサージ用オイルを用意した。比較例2のマッサージ用オイルは、人肌程度に温めて用いた。
被施術者の背中を満遍なくマッサージした。
比較例2のマッサージ用オイルを背中右側に、実施例4のマッサージ用オイルを背中左側に使用した。
全ての施術を本発明者が行った。
被施術者
下記の表4に示す10名の被施術者に対して同一の施術を行った。
測定は、オイル塗布前に1回、オイル塗布後に1回、そして施術開始から約30秒~約3分の短時間の間に1~3回行った。
各測定画像から明らかなように、本発明のマッサージ用オイルを塗布して施術を開始してから約30秒から約3分という早い段階から温度が上昇し、概ね背中左側が右側よりも温度が高い状態となっている。
この結果は、本発明のマッサージ用オイルが顕著な速効性のある温熱効果を発揮することを示している。
図3に示すように、上述の手法にしたがって、本発明のオイルを用いた施術を行うことにより、被施術者の身体全体を顕著なまでに温める効果を得られることが実証された。
黒鉛珪石を加えた形態の本発明のマッサージ用オイルの効果を検証するために、以下の試験を行った。
全ての施術を本発明者が行った。
被施術者
・28才男性(胃潰蕩、慢性胃炎、ヘルニア、膵臓炎を患っていた)
・58才男性
比較例3のマッサージ用オイルを背中右側に、実施例4のマッサージ用オイルを背中左側に使用して施術を行った。
なお、比較例2のオイルを使用した施術は一般的な手法により行った一方、実施例4を使用した施術においては、黒鉛珪石粉末を含有する原液を施術10分後に背中全体に塗付して行った。原液を塗付してからの施術は約7分間行った。
実施例4のマッサージオイルを用い施術の開始から10分後に、背中右上に原液を塗付し、強めの摩擦や圧を加え施術を行った。原液を塗付してからの施術は2分間行った。
(1)の28才男性の測定のタイミングは、オイル塗布前、オイル塗布後、施術開始から10分後、原液を用いた施術開始から5分後、原液を用いた施術の終了直後とした。
(2)の58才男性の測定のタイミングは、施術開始から10分後、原液を添加した直後、原液を用いた施術の終了後とした。
結果は図4に示す。
各測定画像から明らかなように、(1)及び(2)の被施術者の何れにおいても、実施例3のマッサージ用オイルを塗布した肌の表面の温度が上昇することが確認できる。
そして黒鉛珪石を含む原液を添加した直後から、(1)の9施術者においては背中全体が、(2)の被施術者においては背中右上部分が、さらに表面温度が上昇していることが確認できる。
これらの結果は、石英、玄武岩、ケイ酸塩鉱物に加えて黒鉛珪石を含む本発明のマッサージ用オイルは、特に体を温める効果に優れていることを示している。
試験例5及び6において施術を受けた12名の被施術者に施術効果についてのアンケートを行った結果、下記のような回答が得られた。
表5に示すように、全ての被施術者が、マッサージの施術により、リラクゼーション効果、凝りの解消、温感効果を感じたと回答した。
・施術効果について
凝りがほぐれた 4名
浮腫みが解消された 2名
痛みが緩和された 6名
翌日まで温感が継続した 8名
便秘が解消した 4名
身体が軽く感じた 2名
肌がしっとりなめらかになった 2名
皮膚の痔みが軽減された 1名
・従来のマッサージ用オイルとの違いについて
より温感を感じた 9名
より感触(滑らかさなど)が良かった 4名
エクストラ・バージン・オリーブオイル100gのベースオイルに、ケイ酸塩鉱物粉末10gを投入し混練して、本発明のマッサージ用オイル(比較例3)を得た。また、このベースオイルに、粒径10μm以下の玄武岩10gを投入し混練して、本発明のマッサージ用オイル(比較例4)を得た。
被施術者の右足に実施例3のマッサージ用オイル、左足に比較例3のマッサージ用オイルを使用し、施術を行った。また、別の被施術者の左足に実施例3のマッサージ用オイル、右足に比較例4のマッサージ用オイルを使用し、施術を行った。実施例3のオイルと比較例3及び4のオイルによる施術は同一の手法で同一の条件のもと行った。
結果を図5及び6に示す。ただし、画像はグレースケール処理をしており、原画像はカラー画像である。
一方、実施例3のマッサージ用オイルを使用して施術を行うと、施術直後には足の表面温度の著しい上昇が観察された。そして、施術30分後までも足の表面温度が高く維持されていること観察された。

Claims (7)
- ベースオイル及び鉱石粉末を含有するマッサージ用オイルであって、前記鉱石粉末として石英、並びにケイ酸塩鉱物及び/又は玄武岩の粉末を含むことを特徴とする、マッサージ用オイル。
- 前記鉱石粉末として黒鉛珪石の粉末を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
- 前記鉱石粉末の粒子径が50μm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2の何れか一項に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
- 前記ベースオイルが植物性オイルであることを特徴とする、請求項1~3の何れか一項に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
- 前記ベースオイル1重量部に対する前記鉱石粉末の含有量が1重量部以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1~4の何れか一項に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
- 真珠粉末、シルク粉末、金箔、白金からなる群から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を含有する、請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
- 鉱石抽出エキスを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1~6の何れか一項に記載のマッサージ用オイル。
