前記検査部は、前記第3の端の位置が、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で、前記第1の端の位置と前記第2の端の位置の間にあるとき、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置が適正であると判定する、形態15~18のいずれか1つに記載のタイヤの検査装置。
前記エッジ抽出部は、前記第1の端、前記第2の端、及び前記第3の端の位置を、タイヤ周方向に沿ったタイヤ1周の位置の軌跡として特定する、形態15~17のいずれか1つに記載のタイヤの検査装置。
さらに、前記撮像画像をタイヤ周方向に圧縮したタイヤ周方向1周分の画像に対して、前記補強線材の前記第1の端の位置及び前記第2の位置と、前記骨格線材の前記第3の位置のタイヤ1周分の軌跡を合成した画像を表示する表示部を有する、形態15~20のいずれか1つに記載のタイヤの検査装置。

このとき、前記検査装置は、前記撮像装置によって撮像された画像に対して2次元フーリエ変換を行い、前記2次元フーリエ変換の結果から前記カーカスのターンナップ部分を包み込むように折り返して配置されたスチールチェーファの部分を抽出し、該抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することによりスチールチェーファの一端を含んだ部分の画像を取得し、該画像からスチールチェーファの前記一端の軌跡を検出する。さらに、前記検査装置は、前記2次元フーリエ変換の結果から前記スチールチェーファの他端を含んだ部分を抽出し、該抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することによりスチールチェーファの他端を含んだ部分の画像を取得し、さらに該画像からスチールチェーファの他端の軌跡を検出する。前記検査装置は、さらに、前記撮像装置によって撮像された画像から前記スチールチェーファ部分を除去した加工画像を作成し、前記加工画像に対して動的二値化処理を施し、前記動的二値化処理した画像から前記カーカスのターンナップエッジの軌跡を抽出し、前記抽出したカーカスのターンナップエッジの位置が前記適正な位置であるか否かを判定する。
前期検査装置は、
前記撮像装置によって撮像された画像に対して2次元フーリエ変換を行う2次元フーリエ変換手段と、
前記2次元フーリエ変換の結果から前記カーカスのターンナップ部分を包み込むように折り返して配置されたスチールチェーファの一端側部分を抽出し、該抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することによりスチールチェーファの一端側部分の画像を取得する第1画像取得手段と、
前記第1画像取得手段によって取得された画像からスチールチェーファの一端側エッジの軌跡を抽出する第1エッジ抽出手段と、
前記2次元フーリエ変換の結果から前記スチールチェーファの他端側部分を抽出し、該抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することによりスチールチェーファの他端側部分の画像を取得する第2画像取得手段と、
前記第2画像取得手段によって取得された画像からスチールチェーファの他端側エッジの軌跡を抽出する第2エッジ抽出手段と、
前記撮像装置によって撮像された画像から前記スチールチェーファ部分を除去した加工画像を作成する加工画像作成手段と、
前記加工画像に対して動的二値化処理を施す二値化手段と、
前記動的二値化処理した画像から前記カーカスのターンナップエッジの軌跡を抽出するターンナップエッジ抽出手段と、
前記抽出したターンナップエッジの位置が前記適正な位置にあるか否かを判定する判定手段とを備えている。
さらに、タイヤの検査方法及びその装置によれば、タイヤ1周分の画像を用いてカーカス等に用いる骨格線材の配置を検査する場合、タイヤ1周分の画像からスチールチェーファ等の補強線材のエッジの位置あるいは軌跡及びカーカスターンナップエッジ等の骨格線材の端の位置あるいは軌跡を自動抽出できるので、カーカスの巻上げ不良等の骨格線材の適正な配置か否かの判定を、検査員が行うよりも格段に精度良く且つ短時間で行うことができるとともに、繰り返し再現性100%の判定が可能になる。さらに、検査員が表示された画像を目視する必要がなくなるため、タイヤを回転して撮像するときのタイヤ回転速度を高速にすることできるので、検査時間を短縮することができる。
照射装置20は、タイヤ1の内周面側に配置され、X線をタイヤ1に向かって照射する。
撮像装置30は、タイヤ1の外側面側に配置され、タイヤ1のビード部1aにおける透過X線像を透過電磁波像として撮像する。
検査装置本体40は、撮像装置30と接続され、透過電磁波像である撮像画像を用いて、ビード部1aにおけるカーカスあるいはスチールチェーファのタイヤ1内の配置を検査する。タイヤ1は図示しない支持装置によって回転自在に支持されるようになっている。
検査装置本体40の制御装置41は、2次元フーリエ変換部41aと、処理画像取得部41bと、加工画像作成部41cと、二値化処理部41dと、エッジ抽出部41eと、検査部41fと、を備える。2次元フーリエ変換部41a、処理画像取得部41b、加工画像作成部41c、二値化処理部41d、エッジ抽出部41e、及び検査部41fは、コンピュータがプログラムを起動することにより形成されるソフトウェアモジュールであり、各部分の動作は、以下の検査装置本体40が動作の説明において説明される。
また、制御装置41の検査部41fは、検出した外側エッジ18b、すなわちスチールチェーファ18のスチールコード18cの端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ1内でのスチールコード18cの配置、あるいはスチールチェーファ18の配置を検査してもよい。
このように、本実施形態のタイヤの検査方法では、タイヤ1内で、タイヤ1の補強層(スチールチェーファ18)中の複数の補強線材(スチールコード18c)がタイヤ幅方向に対して第1の方向に傾斜して第1の端(スチールチェーファ表側エッジ18b)から延びる第1の領域(スチールチェーファ18の表側の領域)と、補強層(スチールチェーファ18)が折り返されることにより、第1の方向と異なる第2の方向に補強線材(スチールコード18c)が傾斜して延びる第2の領域(スチールチェーファ18の裏側の領域)とを電磁波が透過して得られる透過電磁波像の撮像画像に対して2次元フーリエ変換を行う。この後、第1の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第1の空間フィルタを用いて、2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から、第1の領域における補強線材の第1の端を含む第1の画像成分(AND画像)を抽出する。さらに、この第1の画像成分(AND画像)の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより第1の領域における第1の端を含む第1の処理画像(変換画像)を取得する。この第1の処理画像(変換画像)を用いて、撮像画像における第1の端の位置を特定する。特定した第1の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での補強層(スチールチェーファ18)のエッジ(スチールチェーファ表側エッジ18b)の位置を検査する。
処理画像取得部41bは、さらに、上記SA2の処理で作成した2次元フーリエ変換画像と上記SC1の処理で作成した空間フィルタとのAND処理を行いAND画像を作成する(SC2)。さらに、処理画像取得部41bは、SC2の処理で作成したAND画像を2次元フーリエ逆変換した変換画像を作成する(SC3)。この変換画像は裏側のスチールチェーファのスチールコード18cが明確になるようにした画像である。
これにより、制御装置41の検査部41fは、検出した外側エッジ18b及び内側エッジ18a、すなわちスチールチェーファ18のスチールコード18cの両端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ1内でのスチールコード18cの配置、あるいはスチールチェーファ18の配置を検査してもよい。
このように、本実施形態の補強線材(スチールコード18c)は、第2の領域(スチールチェーファ18の裏側の領域)に第2の端(スチールチェーファ裏側エッジ18a)を有する。このとき、本実施形態では、第2の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第2の空間フィルタを用いて、2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から、第2の領域(スチールチェーファ18の裏側の領域)における補強線材(スチールコード18c)の第2の端(スチールチェーファ裏側エッジ18a)を含む第2の画像成分(AND画像)を抽出する。さらに、第2の画像成分の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより第2の領域における第2の端(スチールチェーファ裏側エッジ18a)を含む第2の処理画像(変換画像)を取得する。この第2の処理画像を用いて、撮像画像における第2の端の位置を特定する。このとき、第2の端(スチールチェーファ裏側エッジ18a)の位置と第1の端(スチールチェーファ表側エッジ18b)の位置に基づいて、タイヤ1内での補強層(スチールチェーファ18)のエッジの位置を検査することが好ましい。
次に、制御装置41の二値化処理部41dは、スチールチェーファ成分除去画像に対して動的二値化処理を施してカーカス14の領域を検出する(SA7)。さらに、エッジ抽出部41dは、カーカス14の端部に注目する領域を限定するとともにカーカスターンナップエッジ14aの位置を特定し、タイヤ周方向のカーカスターンナップエッジ14aの位置の軌跡を検出する(SA8)。尚、上記SA7の処理では動的二値化処理を行っているが、このように動的二値化処理を行うことにより通常の二値化処理に比べて明確に領域の判別を行うことができる。
さらに、本実施形態では、撮像画像と第1の処理画像(表側に位置するスチールコード18cの像を抽出したフーリエ変換画像を2次元フーリエ逆変換して得られた変換画像)と第2の処理画像(裏側に位置するスチールコード18cの像を抽出したフーリエ変換画像を2次元フーリエ逆変換して得られた変換画像)とを用いて、撮像画像から第1の領域(スチールチェーファ18の表側の領域)及び第2の領域(スチールチェーファ18の裏側の領域)における補強線材の像を除去した加工画像(スチールチェーファ成分除去画像)を作成することが好ましい。この場合、さらに、作成した加工画像(スチールチェーファ成分除去画像)を用いて、撮像画像における骨格線材(カーカスコード)の第3の端(カーカスコードのターンナップの端)の位置を特定する。さらに、特定した第3の端の位置に基づいて、骨格部材(カーカス14)のエッジの位置を検査する。

Claims (22)
- タイヤの検査方法であって、
タイヤ内で、タイヤの補強層中の複数の補強線材がタイヤ幅方向に対して第1の方向に傾斜して第1の端から延びる第1の領域と、前記補強層が折り返されることにより、前記第1の方向と異なる第2の方向に前記補強線材が傾斜して延びる第2の領域とを電磁波が透過して得られる透過電磁波像の撮像画像に対して2次元フーリエ変換を行うステップと、
前記第1の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第1の空間フィルタを用いて、前記2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から、前記第1の領域における前記補強線材の前記第1の端を含む第1の画像成分を抽出するステップと、
前記第1の画像成分の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより前記第1の領域における前記第1の端を含む第1の処理画像を取得するステップと、
前記第1の処理画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記第1の端の位置を特定するステップと、
前記第1の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記補強層のエッジの位置を検査するステップ、とを有することを特徴とするタイヤの検査方法。 - 前記補強線材は、前記第2の領域に第2の端を有し、
さらに、前記第2の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第2の空間フィルタを用いて、前記2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から、前記第2の領域における前記補強線材の前記第2の端を含む第2の画像成分を抽出するステップと、
前記第2の画像成分の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより前記第2の領域における前記第2の端を含む第2の処理画像を取得するステップと、
前記第2の処理画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記第2の端の位置を特定するステップと、を有し、
前記検査をするとき、前記第2の端の位置と前記第1の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記補強層のエッジの位置を検査する、請求項1に記載のタイヤの検査方法。 - 前記タイヤは、さらに、前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向と異なる第3の方向に延び、前記第1の領域に第3の端を有する複数のタイヤの骨格線材を、前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域に備えた層状の骨格部材を含み、
前記撮像画像は、前記補強線材及び前記骨格線材の像を含み、
さらに、前記撮像画像と前記1の処理画像とを用いて、前記撮像画像から前記第1の領域における前記補強線材の像を除去した加工画像を作成するステップと、
前記加工画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記骨格線材の前記第3の端の位置を特定するステップ、
前記特定した前記第3の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置を検査するステップと、を有する請求項1または2に記載のタイヤの検査方法。 - 前記タイヤは、さらに、前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向と異なる第3の方向に延び、前記第1の領域に第3の端を有する複数のタイヤの骨格線材を、前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域に備えた層状の骨格部材を含み、
前記撮像画像は、前記補強線材及び前記骨格線材の像を含み、
さらに、前記撮像画像と前記第1の処理画像と前記2の処理画像とを用いて、前記撮像画像から前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域における前記補強線材の像を除去した加工画像を作成するステップと、
前記加工画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記骨格線材の前記第3の端の位置を特定するステップと、
前記特定した前記第3の端の位置に基づいて、前記骨格部材のエッジの位置を検査するステップと、を有する請求項2に記載のタイヤの検査方法。 - 前記加工画像に対して動的二値化処理を施した画像に基づいて、前記第3の端の位置を特定する、請求項3または4に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- 前記骨格部材のエッジの位置の検査は、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で行われ、前記第3の端の位置が、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で、前記第1の端の位置に比べて前記補強線材の折り返し位置に近いとき、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置が適正であると判定することを含む、請求項3~5のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- 前記骨格部材のエッジの位置の検査は、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で行われ、前記第3の端の位置が、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で、前記第1の端の位置と前記第2の端の位置の間にあるとき、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置が適正であると判定することを含む、請求項3~6のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- 前記第1の端、前記第2の端、及び前記第3の端の位置は、タイヤ周方向に沿ったタイヤ1周の位置の軌跡として特定される、請求項3~7のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- さらに、前記撮像画像をタイヤ周方向に圧縮したタイヤ周方向1周分の画像に対して、前記補強線材の前記第1の端の位置及び前記第2の位置と、前記骨格線材の前記第3の位置のタイヤ1周分の軌跡を合成した画像を表示するステップを、有する請求項3~7のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- さらに、前記撮像画像を表示するステップを有する、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- 前記補強層は、前記ビード部に設けられる、スチールコードを含んだスチールチェーファである、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- 前記骨格部材は、前記ビード部で折り返されたカーカスである、請求項3~9のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査方法。
- タイヤの検査装置であって、
タイヤ内で、タイヤの補強層中の複数の補強線材がタイヤ幅方向に対して第1の方向に傾斜して第1の端から延びる第1の領域と、前記補強層が折り返されることにより、前記第1の方向と異なる第2の方向に前記補強線材が傾斜して延びる第2の領域とを電磁波が透過して得られる透過電磁波像の撮像画像に対して2次元フーリエ変換を行うように構成された2次元フーリエ変換部と、
前記第1の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第1の空間フィルタを用いて、前記2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から前記第1の領域における前記補強線材の前記第1の端を含む第1の画像成分を抽出し、前記第1の画像成分の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより前記第1の領域における前記第1の端を含む第1の処理画像を取得するように構成された処理画像取得部と、
前記第1の処理画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における、前記第1の端の位置を特定するように構成されたエッジ抽出部と、
前記第1の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記補強層のエッジの位置を検査するように構成された検査部、とを有することを特徴とするタイヤ検査装置。 - 前記補強線材は、前記第2の領域に第2の端を有し、
前記処理画像取得部は、さらに、前記補強線材の前記第2の方向の傾斜に対応して作成された第2の空間フィルタを用いて、前記2次元フーリエ変換の処理結果から前記第2の領域における前記補強線材の前記第2の端を含む第2の画像成分を抽出し、前記第2の画像成分の抽出結果を2次元フーリエ逆変換することにより前記第2の領域における前記第2の端を含む第2の処理画像を取得し、
前記エッジ抽出部は、前記第2の処理画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記第2の端の位置を特定し、
前記検査部は、前記第2の端の位置と前記第1の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記補強層のエッジの位置を検査する、請求項13に記載のタイヤ検査装置。 - 前記タイヤは、さらに、前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向と異なる第3の方向に延び、前記第1の領域に第3の端を有する複数のタイヤの骨格線材を、前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域に備えた層状の骨格部材を含み、
前記撮像画像は、前記補強線材及び前記骨格線材の像を含み、
前記タイヤ検査装置は、さらに、前記撮像画像と前記1の処理画像とを用いて、前記撮像画像から前記第1の領域における前記補強線材の像を除去した加工画像を作成するように構成された加工画像作成部を有し、
前記エッジ抽出部は、前記加工画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記骨格線材の前記第3の端の位置を特定し、
前記検査部は、前記特定した前記第3の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置を検査する、請求項13または14に記載のタイヤの検査装置。 - 前記タイヤは、さらに、前記第1の方向及び前記第2の方向と異なる第3の方向に延び、前記第1の領域に第3の端を有する複数のタイヤの骨格線材を、前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域に備えた層状の骨格部材を含み、
前記撮像画像は、前記補強線材及び前記骨格線材の像を含み、
前記タイヤ検査装置は、さらに、前記撮像画像と前記第1の処理画像と前記2の処理画像とを用いて、前記撮像画像から前記第1の領域及び前記第2の領域における前記補強線材の像を除去した加工画像を作成するように構成された加工画像作成部を有し、
前記エッジ抽出部は、前記加工画像を用いて、前記撮像画像における前記骨格線材の前記第3の端の位置を特定し、
前記検査部は、前記特定した前記第3の端の位置に基づいて、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置を検査する、請求項13または14に記載のタイヤの検査装置。 - さらに、前記加工画像に対して動的二値化処理を施すように構成された二値化処理部を有し、
前記エッジ抽出部は、前記動的二値化処理の施された加工画像に基づいて、前記第3の端の位置を特定する、請求項15または16に記載のタイヤの検査装置。 - 前記検査部は、前記第3の端の位置が、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で、前記第1の端の位置に比べて前記補強線材の折り返し位置に近いとき、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置が適正であると判定する、請求項15~17のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査装置。
- 前記検査部は、前記第3の端の位置が、タイヤ周方向のすべての場所で、前記第1の端の位置と前記第2の端の位置の間にあるとき、タイヤ内での前記骨格部材のエッジの位置が適正であると判定する、請求項15~18のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査装置。
- 前記エッジ抽出部は、前記第1の端、前記第2の端、及び前記第3の端の位置を、タイヤ周方向に沿ったタイヤ1周の位置の軌跡として特定する、請求項15~17のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査装置。
- さらに、前記撮像画像をタイヤ周方向に圧縮したタイヤ周方向1周分の画像に対して、前記補強線材の前記第1の端の位置及び前記第2の位置と、前記骨格線材の前記第3の位置のタイヤ1周分の軌跡を合成した画像を表示する表示部を有する、請求項15~20のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査装置。
- 前記撮像画像を表示する表示部を有する、請求項15~20のいずれか1項に記載のタイヤの検査装置。
