Definitions
- the present invention relates to a material testing machine capable of performing both a tensile test and a compression test, a grip for gripping a test piece when performing a tensile test, and a pressing member for pressing the test piece when performing a compression test
- the compression test described in this specification means various tests for applying a compressive force to the test piece, and is a concept including a bending test for applying a compressive force that causes the test piece to bend.
- a grip which is a jig used to grip a test piece when performing a tensile test, and a compression test are performed on the crosshead. It is necessary to be able to selectively mount a platen that is a jig used to press the test piece when performing.
- a jig mounting device for mounting the grip on the cross head and a jig mounting device for mounting the platen on the cross head are separately prepared. It was selectively used according to the test contents. For this reason, when changing the test method from the tensile test to the compression test, or from the compression test to the tensile test, it is necessary to replace the jig mounting device itself, which requires complicated work. Therefore, there was a problem that it took time.
- a load cell to which a grip or a platen is connected via a jig mounting device a holding member that holds the load cell, and a specimen is loaded between the holding member and the table by moving the holding member up and down.
