- the handle portion 33 is provided in two places, one on each side in the short direction of the lower container 30 so as to face each other.
- the handle portion 33 is provided so as to protrude to the outside of the lower container 30.
- the corner portion 34 is configured by a side that is obliquely arranged so as to connect the long side and the short side among the substantially octagonal eight sides of the lower container 30.
- the corner 34 is slightly curved so as to be convex toward the inside of the lower container 30.
- the upper container 20 includes an upper bottom surface portion 21, a through hole 211, an upper wall portion 22, and an extending wall portion 23.
- the upper container 20 is disposed above the lower container 30.
- the upper container 20 is a container whose upper part is opened.
- the upper container 20 has a shape in which four long corners of a rectangle are rounded and curved in plan view, and an end portion of one long side is projected outward.
- the upper bottom surface portion 21 constitutes the bottom surface of the upper container 20. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the upper bottom surface portion 21 includes a flat surface portion 24 and a tapered surface portion 25.
- the flat surface portion 24 is formed at substantially the center of the upper bottom surface portion 21 in a plan view, and is disposed at the lowest position in the height direction of the upper bottom surface portion 21.
- the flat surface portion 24 is a surface extending in the substantially horizontal direction of the upper container 20.
- a plurality of through holes 211 are formed in the plane portion 24.
- the tapered surface portion 25 is a surface that is inclined upward from the periphery of the flat surface portion 24 toward the periphery of the upper bottom surface portion 21.
- the taper angle of the tapered surface portion 25 is preferably 5 to 60 degrees with respect to the upper bottom surface portion 21. If the taper angle of the tapered surface portion 25 is too shallow so as to be less than 5 degrees, it becomes difficult to move animal urine or the like to the flat portion 24 side and guide it to the lower container 3. Moreover, when the taper angle of the taper surface portion 25 exceeds 60 degrees, when the animal gets on the upper container 20, a place where the foot can be stably placed becomes narrow. For this reason, the taper angle is preferably within the above range.
- the upper wall portion 22 stands up from the peripheral edge of the upper bottom surface portion 21 and extends upward.
- the upper wall portion 22 extends to the upper end portion of the upper container 20 and warps outward at the upper end portion.
- the extending wall portion 23 is formed to extend downward from the outer surface of the upper wall portion 22.
- the extending wall portion 23 is disposed such that the lower end portion thereof is positioned below the upper bottom surface portion 21. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the extending wall portion 23 is located outside the lower side wall portion 32 in a state where the upper container 20 is disposed on the lower container 30.
- the extending wall portion 23 includes a foot portion 231 and a notch portion 232. As shown in FIG. 6, the foot portion 231 is in contact with the installation surface 10 of the animal toilet 1 in a state where the upper container 20 is disposed above the lower container 30. Four legs 231 are formed in this embodiment.
- the foot portion 231 is formed so as to support the upper container 20 by extending upward with the lower end portion in contact with the installation surface 10. Unlike the convex shape inside the corner 34 in the lower container 30, the foot 231 is formed along a curved surface that connects the long side and the short side of the upper container 20.
- the foot portion 231 is disposed outside the corner portion 34 at a position corresponding to the corner portion 34.
- the notch 232 is formed by cutting the edge on the lower end side of the extending wall 23 so as to draw an arc upward. From the notch 232, the outer surface of the lower side wall 32 is exposed.
- the notches 232 are provided symmetrically on the surfaces of the extended wall portion 23 that are arranged to face each other.
- the above-described handle portion 33 in the lower container 30 is provided at a position corresponding to the position where the notch 232 of the upper container 20 is formed. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 1, the handle 33 protrudes outward from the longitudinal end of the upper container 20 in a state where the lower container 30 is disposed below the upper container 20.
- the animal toilet 1 described above is used by placing the liquid absorbing member 4 in the lower container 30 and accommodating the granular excrement disposal material 5 in the upper container 20.
- the liquid absorbing member 4 is a member capable of absorbing animal excrement such as urine as shown in FIG.
- the liquid absorbing member 4 is a quadrangular sheet obtained by laminating and bonding a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid retaining intermediate sheet, and a liquid impermeable back sheet.
- the excrement disposal material 5 is a granular treatment material that absorbs or permeates the excrement of liquid animals such as urine, and is so-called toilet sand.
- toilet sand granular materials of various materials such as a type that is water-repellent and allows a large amount of liquid to permeate the liquid-absorbing member, and a type that solidifies when liquid such as urine is absorbed are used as appropriate.
- FIG. 7 is a schematic view showing a state of use of the animal toilet 1.
- an animal such as a cat enters the animal toilet 1 and excretes on the excrement disposal material 5 accommodated in the upper container 20.
- Liquid excrement such as urine passes through the excrement disposal material 5, passes through the plurality of through holes 211 of the upper bottom surface portion 21, and is absorbed by the liquid absorbing sheet placed on the lower container 30.
- the upper container 20 is provided with a foot portion 231 that extends from the upper wall portion 22 to the outside of the lower side wall portion 32 and contacts the installation surface 10 of the lower container 30.
- the foot portion 231 is not in contact with the lower bottom surface portion 31 on which the liquid absorbing member 4 that has absorbed excreta is placed. For this reason, the back surface of the foot 231 is not dirty. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7, the upper container 20 can be removed from the lower container 30 and placed directly on the floor or the like for cleaning.
- the lower container 30 and the upper container 20 are simultaneously held by holding the handle portion 33 protruding from the notch 232 of the upper container 20. Can be carried around.
- an animal toilet 1 including an upper container 20 and a lower container 30 disposed below the upper container, an upper bottom portion 21 in which a plurality of through holes 211 are formed in the upper container 20, and an upper part
- An upper wall portion 22 that rises from the periphery of the bottom surface portion 21 and an extending wall portion 23 that extends downward from the outer surface of the upper wall portion 22 are provided, and a lower end portion of the extending wall portion 23 is lower than the upper bottom surface portion 21.
- the upper wall portion 21 is interposed between the upper bottom surface portion 21 and the lower container 30.
- the upper bottom surface portion 21 does not come into contact with the liquid absorbing member 4 or the like accommodated in the lower container 30. Moreover, since the lower end part of the extension wall part 23 is located below the upper bottom face part 21, even if the upper container 20 is removed from the lower container 30, the upper bottom face part 21 may be in direct contact with the floor or the like. No animal toilet can be cleaned hygienically.
- the extending wall portion 23 is disposed outside the lower side wall portion 32. Since the extending wall portion 23 is disposed outside the lower side wall portion 32, the lower end portion of the extending wall portion 23 does not contact the lower bottom surface portion 31. For this reason, the lower end portion of the extending wall portion 23 is in contact with the liquid absorbing member 4 and is not soiled. Therefore, even if the upper container 20 is lifted and placed on the floor or the like, the animal toilet 1 can be easily cleaned without contaminating the floor.
- the handle portion 33 disposed on the outer surface of the lower side wall portion 32 is provided in the lower container 30, and the notch portion 232 is disposed at a position corresponding to the handle portion 33. As a result, the handle 33 protrudes outward from the notch 232. For this reason, the upper container 20 can be carried together with the lower container 30 by gripping the handle portion 33.
- the notch portion 232 is provided on the surface of the extended wall portion 23 that is disposed to face each other.
- the positions of the notch portion 232 and the foot portion 231 are symmetrical, and the upper container 20 can be stably installed.
- the lower container 30 was configured in a shape having a plurality of corners 34 in a plan view, and the feet 231 were arranged at positions corresponding to the corners 34. Thereby, the lower container 30 has a shape that can be easily accommodated inside the upper container 20, and the entire animal toilet 1 becomes compact. Further, the foot portion 231 corresponds to the corner portion 34 and is formed so as to avoid the corner portion 34. For this reason, when the user places the upper container 20 so as to cover the lower container 30 with the user looking at the upper container 20 from above, the foot 231 may be placed inside the lower container 30 or may be placed in an incorrect position. It is difficult to place the foot portion 231.
- FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram of an animal toilet 1A according to the second embodiment.
- the point which is not demonstrated about the toilet 1A for animals is the same as that of the toilet 1 for animals in 1st Embodiment.
- the animal toilet 1A is different from the first embodiment in that the foot portion 231A of the upper container 20A is disposed inside the lower side wall portion 32 of the lower container 30A. That is, the lower container 30 ⁇ / b> A of the second embodiment has a partition portion 35 that partitions the peripheral side of the lower bottom surface portion 31 from the inside thereof.
- the partition portion 35 is formed lower than the lower side wall portion 32 and upright from the lower bottom surface portion 31.
- the partition portion 35 is formed along the lower side wall portion 32 on the inner side of the lower side wall portion 32 in the lower bottom surface portion 31.
- the foot portion 231A of the upper container 20A is disposed so as to be positioned between the partition portion 35 and the lower side wall portion 32. Since the foot portion 231A is separated from the inside of the lower bottom surface portion 31 by the partition portion 35, the liquid such as urine absorbed by the liquid absorbing member 4 disposed inside the partition portion 35 does not contact the foot portion 231A. . For this reason, the foot portion 231A is not contaminated with excrement, and the upper container 20A can be placed directly on the installation surface such as the floor of the residence. Therefore, the animal toilet 1A of the second embodiment also has the same effect as that of the first embodiment.
- the present invention is not limited to each embodiment mentioned above, and can be changed suitably.
- the lower container 30 is formed in a substantially octagonal shape, but the shape of the lower container 30 is not limited to a substantially octagonal shape.
- FIG. 9A to 9D show lower containers 30B and 30C of an animal toilet according to a modification of the present invention.
- the lower container 30B may have a substantially rectangular shape and may have corners 341 that are rounded and chamfered at four corners of the rectangle.
- the corner portion 341 is provided at a position corresponding to the foot portion of the upper container, and is chamfered so as to draw a track inside the rectangular corner. For this reason, when a user arranges an upper container so that a user may see an upper container from the top so that it may cover lower container 30B, it can prevent that a foot part enters into the inside of lower container 30B accidentally.
- a dog-shaped protrusion 36 in a plan view that protrudes toward the inside of the lower container 30B may be provided inside the corner portion 341 as a restricting portion.
- the lower container 30C may have a substantially rectangular shape, and may have corners 342 that are rounded and chamfered at four corners of the rectangle.
- a dog-shaped protruding portion 37 that continuously protrudes outward from the corner portion 342 may be provided as the restricting portion.
- the protrusion 37 is formed on the outer surface of the lower container at the corner 342 along the height direction.
- the protrusion 37 is formed outside the corner 342, so that the user can place the upper container so as to cover the lower container 30C in an attitude of viewing the upper container from above. It is possible to restrict the foot of the upper container from entering the lower container 30C by mistake.
- the liquid absorbing member 4 placed on the lower container 30 ⁇ / b> C has a quadrangular shape, the four corners of the liquid absorbing member can be arranged in the protruding portion 37.
- FIG. 9C is an arrow view of the lower container 30C shown in FIG. 9B as viewed from the C direction.
- the upper end of the protrusion 37 is inclined downward as viewed from the side. Since the upper end of the projecting portion 37 is inclined downward, the portion of the upper container that is in contact with the lower container 30C is guided to move outward along the inclination without entering the lower container 30C. Can do.
- FIG. 9D is a further variation of the lower container shown in FIG. 9C.
- the protruding portion 37 may have a cut portion 371 formed downward from the upper end portion of the lower side wall portion 32 at the corner of the character in a plan view.
- the four corners of the liquid-absorbing member are inserted and fixed into the cut portions 371 to prevent the liquid-absorbing member 4 from wrinkling or turning up. Can do.
- the notch 371 is not limited to the case where the protrusion is formed in the lower container 30C.
- the notch 371 is formed downward from the upper end of the corner 34 where the protrusion 37 is not formed. Also good. In this case, it is preferable that the notch part 371 is located in the approximate center in the width direction of each corner 34.
- FIG. 10A to 10C show a lower container 30D of an animal toilet according to another modification of the present invention.
- FIG. 10B is an arrow view of the lower container 30D shown in FIG. 10A as viewed from the D direction.
- 10C is a schematic cross-sectional view taken along line EE shown in FIG. 10B.
- the lower container 30 ⁇ / b> D may be configured to have a substantially rectangular shape and have corners 343 that are chamfered in a planar shape at four corners of the rectangle.
- the corner portion 343 according to the other modified example has the same effect as the corner portions 341 and 342 according to the modified example.
- a square-shaped protrusion 38 in a plan view that protrudes toward the outside of the lower container 30D from the planar corner 343 in the upper direction in the height direction may be provided as a restriction part.
- a through hole 39 as a hole portion may be formed below the protruding portion 38.
- the lower container 30D is formed in a substantially octagonal shape. For this reason, when the liquid absorbing member 4 accommodated in the lower container 30 ⁇ / b> D is rectangular, the four corners of the liquid absorbing member 4 may hit the inner surface of the corner 343. In this case, by pulling out the four corners of the liquid absorbing member 4 from the through-hole 39, it is possible to prevent the liquid absorbing member 4 from wrinkling or turning up.
- the protruding portion 38 according to another modification may be inclined downward in a side view. According to the downward inclination of the protrusion part 38, the effect similar to the protrusion part 37 which concerns on said modification can be show

Abstract
