- the side sheet 10D may be folded or an elastic member may be provided so that a plurality of sheets overlap at the side edge on the absorber 10C side. According to this configuration, the distance between the absorber 10C and the fragrance 2C can be increased.
- step S101 the absorbent article 10 is mounted on the continuous body of the packaging material 2 currently conveyed by MD direction, and CD direction orthogonal to MD direction in step S102 ( (Corresponding to the product width direction W) (that is, along the fold line FL1 extending in the MD direction) the continuum of the packaging material 2 on which the absorbent article 10 is placed from the back surface 2B side to the front surface 2A side.
- step S103 the absorbent article 10 from the back surface 2B side to the front surface 2A side in the CD direction (corresponding to the product width direction W) orthogonal to the MD direction (that is, along the fold line FL2 extending in the MD direction) Is folded, the continuous body of the packaging material 2 is cut into a desired size.
- step S104 the fragrance 2C is applied to the surface 2A of the packaging material 2.
- the region where the fragrance 2C is applied is a region where the surfaces 2A of the packaging material 2 are scheduled to face each other.
- flavor 2C is apply
- the fragrance 2C can be intermittently applied to the surface 2A of the packaging material 2.
- the inkjet head 200A of the coating apparatus 100 may be provided with a plurality of ejection units (nozzles) 200B.
- This discharge part 200B is connected to the storage tank of the fragrance
- the discharge unit 200B has a structure capable of intermittently discharging a small amount of fragrance.
- step S105 the packaging material 2 on which the absorbent article 10 is placed is placed in the downward direction so that the region where the fragrance 2C is applied does not come outside by extruding the plate-like member P downward (
- the product is folded along the product longitudinal direction L (that is, along the folding line FW1), and the packaging material 2 is conveyed downward.
- step S106 the absorbent article 10 is placed so that the region where the fragrance 2C is applied does not come outside by pushing the plate-like member P in a predetermined direction (for example, the direction opposite to the MD direction).
- the packaging material 2 is folded in a predetermined direction (corresponding to the product longitudinal direction L) (that is, along the folding line FW2), and the packaging material 2 is conveyed in the predetermined direction.
- step S107 in order to maintain the folded state of the package 1, in order to make it easy to open when using the package 1, and to make it easy to wrap and dispose of the absorbent article 10 after use, the package The end of the region folded in 1 is stopped with the lead tape 5.
