Abstract
Description
1.CuKα線を用いた粉末X線回折測定において、正方晶酸化スズの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して3%以上であり、かつ、立方晶五酸化アンチモンの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して40%以下であることを特徴とする下記一般式(1)で表される無機イオン吸着剤。
SnO2・aSb2O5・nH2O (1)
[式中、aは0.2≦a≦4を満たす数である。また、nは水和の数を示し、0又は正数である。]
2.BET法で測定した比表面積が、100m2/g以上である上記1に記載の無機イオン吸着剤。
3.四価のスズ塩及び五価のアンチモン塩を含む水溶液と、水とを混合して沈殿を生じさせる沈殿工程と、加熱により熟成する熟成工程とを備え、前記スズ塩のSnとアンチモン塩のSbのモル比(Sn/Sb)が、0.1~5であり、かつ、前記沈殿工程において、SnとSbの合計モル数に対して、100倍モル以上の水を混合することを特徴とする上記1又は2に記載の無機イオン吸着剤の製造方法。
4.上記熟成工程の温度が、50℃以上である上記3に記載の無機イオン吸着剤の製造方法。
本発明に係る無機イオン吸着剤は、CuKα線を用いた粉末X線回折測定において、正方晶酸化スズの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して3%以上であり、かつ、立方晶五酸化アンチモンの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して40%以下である下記一般式(1)で表されるものである。

上記式において、aは0.2≦a≦4を満たす数である。aは、0.3≦a≦3.8であることが好ましく、0.4≦a≦3.5であることがより好ましい。aが0.2に満たない場合や、aが4を超える場合は、イオン吸着性が大幅に低下する。また、nは水和の数を示し、0又は正数である。]
本発明の無機イオン吸着剤のコバルトイオン交換容量は、0.5meq/g以上であることが好ましく、0.7meq/g以上がより好ましく、更に好ましくは1.0meq/g以上である。この範囲が好ましい理由は、少量の添加量で充分な効果が得られるからである。
イオン捕捉率は高い方が好ましく、無機イオン吸着剤の使用量や処理効率を考慮すると、全てのイオンの捕捉率が90%以上であることが好ましく、より好ましくは93%以上、更に好ましくは95%以上である。イオン捕捉率が90%以上であれば、実用上十分な性能を有する。
Kd=(C0 - C)×V /(C × m)
[式中、C0は初期のイオン濃度であり、Cは吸着試験後のイオン濃度である。また、Vは試験溶液体積であり、mはイオン吸着剤重量である。分配係数Kdの単位はml/gである。]
分配係数は高い方が好ましく、全てのイオンに対する分配係数は1.0×103ml/g以上であることが好ましく、1.5×103ml/g以上であることがより好ましく、更に好ましくは2.0×103ml/g以上である。分配係数が1.0×103ml/g以上であれば、少量で重金属イオンを捕捉することができる。
本発明に係る無機イオン吸着剤は、四価のスズ塩及び五価のアンチモン塩を含む水溶液と、水とを混合して沈殿を生じさせた後、加熱により熟成することにより製造することができる。この時、前記スズ塩のSnとアンチモン塩のSbのモル比(Sn/Sb)は、0.1~5であり、かつ、前記沈殿工程において、SnとSbの合計モル数に対して、100倍モル以上の水を混合する。
本発明の無機イオン吸着剤の2次粒子径は例えば脱イオン水に超音波分散したものをレーザー回折式粒度分布計で測定し、体積基準のメジアン径を2次粒子径の代表値として採用することができる。好ましい2次粒子径としては0.1~50μmであり、より好ましくは0.2~30μmである。2次粒子径が0.1μm未満であると目的のイオン吸着後の固液分離がし難くなる場合がある。一方、50μmを超えると、吸着速度が遅くなる場合がある。
本発明の無機イオン吸着剤を用いて、重金属イオンを含有する液体の処理等を行うには、本発明の無機イオン吸着剤を、重金属イオンを含有する液体と接触させればよい。本発明の無機イオン吸着剤と液体を接触させる方法に特に限定はなく、バッチ式又は連続式のいずれであっても良い。本発明の無機イオン吸着剤と液体を接触させる方法の具体例としては、本発明の無機イオン吸着剤を、液体に添加し撹拌することにより、液体と接触させた後、本発明の無機イオン吸着剤を分離する方法、又はカラム等に本発明の無機イオン吸着剤を充填し、液体を通液する方法がある。
(1)無機イオン吸着剤の組成
a)蛍光X線装置でスズとアンチモンの含有率を測定した。
b)無機イオン吸着剤を150℃で24時間乾燥し、デシケーターの中で30分以上冷却した。この試料について、500℃までの熱重量分析を行い、水和量を計算した。
上記a)及びb)の測定結果から、無機イオン吸着剤の組成を決定した。
粉末X線回折(以下「XRD」と略す)測定は、BRUKER社製「D8 ADVANCE」を使用した。Cu封入型X線源を用い、印加電圧40kv,電流値40mAで発生するCuKαを用いてX線回折図を得た。詳細な測定条件を表1に記載した。
得られた無機イオン吸着剤0.5gをマルバーン社製「AUTOSORB-1」によりBET比表面積を測定した。この結果を表3に示す。
得られた無機イオン吸着剤0.1gを10mlの脱イオン水に分散させ、70wの超音波で30秒間分散させた。そのスラリーを、マルバーン社製「マスターサイザー2000」により粒度分布を測定した。この測定値の体積基準のメジアン径を2次粒子径とした。この結果を表3に示す。
硝酸コバルト(II)六水和物15.55gを1Lの純水に溶解した。この水溶液50mLと、合成した無機イオン吸着剤1.0gを100mlのポリエチレン製の瓶に入れ、40℃で24時間振とうした後、0.2μmのメンブレンフィルターで無機イオン吸着剤をろ別した。次に、ろ液中のコバルトイオン濃度をプラズマ発光分析装置で測定した。無機イオン吸着剤を入れないで同様の操作を行ってコバルトイオン濃度を測定したものをブランク値として、その差から吸着剤1gあたりのイオン交換容量を求めた。結果を表4に示す。
硝酸コバルト(II)六水和物0.0494g、硫酸マンガン(II)五水和物0.0439g、塩化クロム(III)六水和物0.0513g及び硫酸ニッケル(II)六水和物0.0448gを0.01規定の硝酸水溶液1Lに溶解させた試験液を調製した。この試験液30mlと無機イオン吸着剤0.30gを100mlのポリエチレン製容器に入れて密栓した後、10往復振って混合し、40℃の恒温器中に2時間静置した。その後、無機イオン吸着剤を0.2μmのメンブレンフィルターでろ別し、ろ液中のCo、Mn、Cr及びNiイオン濃度をプラズマ発光分析装置(セイコーエプソン社製「SPS770」)を用いて測定した。この値と吸着前のそれぞれのイオン濃度から、イオン捕捉率及び分配係数Kdを算出した。その結果を表4及び5に示した。なお、分配係数Kdの単位はml/gである。
<実施例1>
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入し混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1512gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は340倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤1を得た。得られた吸着剤について、XRDにより正方晶SnO2及び立方晶Sb2O5の回折強度を測定した(図1)。図1のピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は225countsであった。なお、図1~9の縦軸はX線回折強度(単位[counts])を示し、横軸は回折角2θ(単位[°])を示す。
また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤1の比表面積、2次粒子径、イオン交換容量、イオン捕捉率及び分配係数を評価した(表3~5)。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1512gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は340倍モル)。その後、30分撹拌し、このスラリー70mL程度を100mLのテフロン(登録商標)製圧力容器に分けて移し、120℃で20時間熟成した。熟成後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。次いで、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄した後(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤2を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤2のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は290countsであった(図2)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤2の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
熟成を150℃で20時間行った以外は、実施例2と同じ操作を行い、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤3を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤3のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は320countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤3の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水756gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は170倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤4を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤4のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものと立方晶五酸化アンチモンが混在するものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は135countsであり、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は1200であった(図3)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤4の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに無水四塩化スズ35.50gを入れ、撹拌しながら純水17.8gをゆっくりと添加して溶解させた後、五塩化アンチモン40.75g(Sn/Sbモル比=1)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1691gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は340倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、濾過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.5Sb2O5・0.8H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤5を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤5のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は220countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤5の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに無水四塩化スズ47.30gを入れ、撹拌しながら純水17.8gをゆっくりと添加して溶解させた後、五塩化アンチモン27.14g(Sn/Sbモル比=2)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1691gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は340倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.25Sb2O5・0.3H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤6を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤6のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は190countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤6の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液22.18gを入れ、純水8.38gを添加し、更に撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン38.19g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.33)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1543gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は400倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・1.5Sb2O5・1.3H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤7を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤7のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークはほとんどが正方晶酸化スズのものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は220counts、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は110countsであった(図4)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤7の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液15.23gを入れ、純水14.91gを添加し、更に撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン51.81g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.17)をゆっくりと投入して混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1593gに添加したところ、沈殿が生じた(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は440倍モル)。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・3.1Sb2O5・1.6H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤8を得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤8のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものと立方晶五酸化アンチモンが混在するものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は185counts、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は312countsであった(図5)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤8の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
標準試料として、立方晶五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O、東亞合成社製商品名「IXE-300」)のXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは立方晶五酸化アンチモンのものであり、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は3600countsであった(図6)。また、この試料の比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水756g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は170倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。その後、30分撹拌し、このスラリー70mL程度を100mLのテフロン(登録商標)製圧力容器に分けて移し、120℃で20時間熟成した。熟成後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。次いで、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄した後(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Aを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤AのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものと立方晶五酸化アンチモンが混在するものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は125counts、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は1750countsであった(図7)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Aの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水378g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は85倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Bを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤BのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものと立方晶五酸化アンチモンが混在するものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は60counts、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角14.8°付近の回折強度は1800countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Bの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液52.10gを入れ、撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン44.85g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.67)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水378g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は85倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。その後、30分撹拌し、このスラリー70mL程度を100mLのテフロン(登録商標)製圧力容器に分けて移し、120℃で20時間熟成した。熟成後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。次いで、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄した後(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.75Sb2O5・1.0H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Cを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤CのXRD)測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは立方晶五酸化アンチモンのものであり、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は2200countsであった(図8)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Cの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに無水四塩化スズ52.0gを入れ、撹拌しながら純水7.8gをゆっくりと添加して溶解させた。更に撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン17.94g(Sn/Sbモル比=3.3)をゆっくりと投入した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1691g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は360倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.15Sb2O5・0.2H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Dを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤DのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は160countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Dの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに無水四塩化スズ52.0gを入れ、撹拌しながら純水を5.2gゆっくりと添加して溶解させた。さらに撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン11.96g(Sn/Sbモル比=5)をゆっくりと投入し混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1691g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は390倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.1Sb2O5・0.1H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Eを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤EのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものであり、回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は120countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Eの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液15.23gを入れ、純水14.91gを添加し、更に撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン51.81g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.17)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水796g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は200倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・3.1Sb2O5・1.6H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Fを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤FのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは正方晶酸化スズのものと立方晶五酸化アンチモンが混在するものであり、酸化スズに起因する回折角2θ=26.7°付近の回折強度は110counts、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折強度は1600countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Fの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
36%塩酸608gに純水を加え1Lとし、6N塩酸1Lを調製した。また、無水塩化スズ6.51gに6N塩酸を加え250mLとし、0.1M塩化スズ液を調製した。続いて五塩化アンチモン7.48gに6N塩酸を加え250mLとし、0.1M塩化アンチモン溶液を調製した。調製した塩化スズ溶液と塩化アンチモン溶液を1L三口フラスコに入れ、撹拌混合した。更に、撹拌しながら、25%アンモニア水をpH2になるまでゆっくりと滴下した(約220mLであった)。滴下終了後30分撹拌して、pHを確認したところ、pHは2.1で安定していた。合成されたものを、ろ過により母液を除去した。次いで、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄した後、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・0.25Sb2O5・0.3H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Gを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤GのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークはなく、非晶質の化合物と推定された(図9)。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Gの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液10.0gを入れ、純水24.0gを添加し、更に撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン56.0g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.1)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1350g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は440倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・4.9Sb2O5・4.5H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Hを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤HのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは立方晶五酸化アンチモンのものであり、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折 強度は2900countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Hの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
200mlビーカーに四塩化スズの50質量%水溶液7.0gを入れ、純水24.0gを添加し、更にさらに撹拌しながら五塩化アンチモン56.0g(Sn/Sbモル比=0.07)をゆっくりと投入し、混合した。この水溶液を70℃の温水1350g(SnとSbの合計モル数に対し、水量は450倍モル)に添加したところ、沈殿が生じた。次に、この混合物を70℃で20時間撹拌しながら熟成した後、冷却し、ろ過により母液を除去した。その後、残さをイオン交換水で洗浄し(ろ液の電気伝導度:150μS/cm)、乾燥機を用いて110℃で24時間乾燥させた。更に、粉砕機(フリッチェジャパン社製「ロータースピードミル」、12,000rpm、振い目80μm)を用いて粉砕することにより、SnO2・7.0Sb2O5・5.8H2Oの組成式で表される無機イオン吸着剤Iを得た。
この無機イオン吸着剤IのXRD測定を行ったところ、得られたピークは立方晶五酸化アンチモンのものであり、立方晶五酸化アンチモンに起因する回折角2θ=14.8°付近の回折 強度は3200countsであった。また、得られた無機イオン吸着剤Iの比表面積等を実施例1と同様に評価した。
Claims (4)
- CuKα線を用いた粉末X線回折測定において、正方晶酸化スズの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して3%以上であり、かつ、立方晶五酸化アンチモンの回折強度が、五酸化アンチモン(Sb2O5・2H2O)の回折強度に対して40%以下であることを特徴とする下記一般式(1)で表される無機イオン吸着剤。

[式中、aは0.2≦a≦4を満たす数である。また、nは水和の数を示し、0又は正数である。] - BET法で測定した比表面積が、100m2/g以上である請求項1に記載の無機イオン吸着剤。
- 四価のスズ塩及び五価のアンチモン塩を含む水溶液と、水とを混合して沈殿を生じさせる沈殿工程と、加熱により熟成する熟成工程とを備え、
前記スズ塩のSnとアンチモン塩のSbのモル比(Sn/Sb)が、0.1~5であり、かつ、前記沈殿工程において、SnとSbの合計モル数に対して、100倍モル以上の水を混合することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の無機イオン吸着剤の製造方法。 - 上記熟成工程の温度が、50℃以上である請求項3に記載の無機イオン吸着剤の製造方法。
