ハウジング10の上面11には、図1に示すように、前後方向に延びるロックアーム33が設けられている。ロックアーム33は、段差32に連続した支点部34を中心としてシーソ状に傾動変位可能(弾性変位可能)とされている。そして、ハウジング10の前部側は、フロントホルダ40とともにフード部81内に嵌合され、正規嵌合時に、相手ハウジング80のフード部81の先端がハウジング10の段差32に近接して配置され、且つ、ロックアーム33が相手ハウジング80のロック突部85を弾性的に係止して、両ハウジング10、80の離脱が規制される。
フロントホルダ40の収容空間47にシール部材60が挿入されると、図7に示すように、フロントホルダ40の各リブ53がシール部材60の各リブ受け部63に嵌合状態で弾性的に挿入され、且つ、フロントホルダ40の各抜け止め突部54及び各第2の抜け止め突部54Aがシール部材60の各抜け止め受け部64及び各第2の抜け止め受け部64Aに嵌合状態で弾性的に挿入される。各抜け止め突部54及び各第2の抜け止め突部54Aが各抜け止め受け部64及び各第2の抜け止め受け部64Aに挿入されて、各抜け止め突部54及び各第2の抜け止め突部54Aの前面が各抜け止め受け部64及び各第2の抜け止め受け部64Aに引っ掛け係止されることにより、シール部材60のフロントホルダ40からの抜け出しが規制される。これにより、シール部材60がフロントホルダ40に抜け止めされた状態で組み付けられる。
フロントホルダ40のリブ53がシール部材60のリブ受け部63に挿入され、抜け止め突部54が抜け止め受け部64に抜け止め状態で挿入されることにより、インサート成形を行わずに、シール部材60がフロントホルダ40に組み付けられる。この場合に、抜け止め突部54がリブ53に設けられ、リブ53がフロントホルダ40の当接面52に沿って延びる形態とされるため、フロントホルダ40がリブ53によって補強される。したがって、シール部材60がフロントホルダ40に抜け止め保持される抜け止め構造と、フロントホルダ40の補強構造とが、リブ53を介して共用化されることになり、両構造が別々に分かれて設けられる場合に比べ、全体の構成が簡素化される。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような態様も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)フロントホルダでは無く、リアホルダに、リブと抜け止め突部とが設けられ、一括ゴム栓に、リブ受け部と抜け止め受け部とが設けられるものであってもよい。あるいは、フロントホルダとリアホルダの両方に、リブと抜け止め突部とが設けられ、シール部材と一括ゴム栓の両方に、リブ受け部と抜け止め受け部とが設けられるものであってもよい。
(2)抜け止め突部及び抜け止め受け部は、それぞれ、リブ及びリブ受け部との間に、側面視略L字形、側断面視略T字形又は略十字形をなすものであってもよい。
(3)リブ及びリブ受け部は、それぞれ、フロントホルダ及びシール部材に、幅方向では無く、高さ方向に延びる形態であってもよい。あるいは、リブ及びリブ受け部は、幅方向及び高さ方向に延びることで全体として格子状の形態になるものであってもよい。

Claims (7)
- 前後方向に延びて前後両面に開口するキャビティを有し、前記キャビティに端子金具が挿入されるハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの前後両面のうちの一方の面に当接して配置され、前記キャビティと連通する位置に前後方向に延びて前後両面に開口するシール孔を有するシール部材と、
前記シール部材の前後両面のうちの一方の面に当接して配置され、前記ハウジングとの間に前記シール部材を挟み込むホルダとを備える防水コネクタであって、
前記ホルダにおける前記シール部材の前記一方の面に当接する当接面には、面方向に沿って延びるリブが設けられ、前記リブには、前記当接面から離間した位置にて前記リブの前記当接面からの突出方向と交差する方向に突出する抜け止め突部が設けられ、
前記シール部材の前記一方の面には、前記リブが挿入されるリブ受け部が設けられ、前記リブ受け部には、前記シール部材の前記一方の面から離間した位置にて前記リブの挿入方向と交差する方向に凹んで前記抜け止め突部が抜け止め状態で挿入される抜け止め受け部が設けられていることを特徴とする防水コネクタ。 - 前記ホルダは、前記ハウジングの前面に当接して前記シール部材の前方への抜け出しを抑えるフロントホルダとして構成され、前記リブ及び前記抜け止め突部が前記フロントホルダに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の防水コネクタ。
- 前記ホルダには、前記当接面の面方向と交差する方向に突出する側面部が設けられ、前記側面部には、前記リブには連結されない第2の抜け止め突部が設けられ、前記シール部材の外周面には、前記リブ受け部には連通されずに前記第2の抜け止め突部が抜け止め状態で挿入される第2の抜け止め受け部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の防水コネクタ。
- 前記ホルダ及び前記シール部材がいずれも正面視で略矩形状をなし、前記第2の抜け止め突部及び前記第2の抜け止め受け部が前記ホルダ及び前記シール部材のそれぞれの四隅寄りの位置に設けられ、前記リブ及び前記リブ受け部が前記当接面及び前記一方の面のそれぞれの中央寄りの位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3記載の防水コネクタ。
- 前記シール孔は、前記シール部材に複数並んで設けられ、前記ホルダには、前記シール孔と連通可能な挿通孔が複数並んで設けられ、前記リブ及び前記リブ受け部は、前記挿通孔及び前記シール孔のそれぞれの並び方向に延出する形状とされていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項記載の防水コネクタ。
- 前記リブ受け部及び前記抜け止め受け部は、前記シール部材における前記一方の面とは反対側の他方の面に開口しない形態とされていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項記載の防水コネクタ。
- 前記ホルダが四辺部を有する略矩形の外形を有し、前記ホルダの前記四辺部には、それぞれ、前記ハウジングの対応するロック受け部に係止可能なロック部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項記載の防水コネクタ。
