If it is determined that the tension has reached a predetermined value, the horizontal movement of the wheel 8 is stopped, and the extension of the distance between the axes is stopped (step S7).
- the housing 3 When the saw blade 9 is stretched over the wheel 7 and the wheel 8 with a predetermined tension, the housing 3 is raised to the standby position (Step 8). When the protective cover is attached to the lower edge tooth 9h, it is removed at this stage. The wheels 7 and 8 are rotated by the drive unit M2 to appropriately position the saw blade 9 with respect to the wheels 7 and 8. In this manner, the mounting operation of the saw blade 9 to the band saw machine 51 is completed.
- the removal of the saw blade 9 from the band saw machine 51 is basically performed in the reverse process of the mounting operation.
- Each step may be executed by an operator giving an instruction for each step, or a step other than placing the saw blade 9 on the saw blade guides 6a to 6e by the worker may be performed.
- the band saw 51 may be automatically executed by a computer that executes a program created in advance.

- the saw blade guide 6d is provided immediately downstream of the cutting region A along the traveling direction DR3 of the saw blade 9. Therefore, there is a high possibility that a large amount of chips [swarf] adheres to the saw blade guide 6d in the normal state. Therefore, the saw blade guide 6d can be in a retracted state by swinging the contact portion t6d via the hinge 6d2. The retracted saw blade guide 6d is retracted from the travel route, and the adhesion of chips to the contact portion t6d is avoided. That is, the saw blade guide 6d is in a normal state when the saw blade 9 is mounted, and is rotated and retracted except during the mounting operation (when the workpiece W is cut).
- the contact portion t6a of the saw blade guide 6a can be slightly swung by the rubber spacer 6a2.
- the contact portions t6b to t6e of the saw blade guides 6b to 6e can swing. Therefore, even if the saw blade 9 is placed on the saw blade guides 6a to 6e or an external force is applied to the saw blade 9 in the placed state, the contact portions t6a to t6e are swung to The influence on the saw blade 9 can be reduced. Therefore, damage of the saw blade 9 during the mounting operation of the saw blade 9 is effectively prevented.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment.
- the saw blade guides 6a to 6e may be detachable without being fixed to the base 1.
- the saw blade guides 6a to 6e only need to be able to support from below (drop restriction) and hold the deformed shape (expansion restriction), and their structure is not limited to that of the above embodiment.
- a protective cover or an open / close door may be provided to prevent the hand from entering the movable part of the band saw machine 51.
- the protective cover and the open / close door are closed not only when the workpiece W is cut but also when the saw blade 9 is mounted (except when the saw blade 9 is placed on the saw blade guides 6a to 6e). Otherwise, the band saw 51 may be configured not to operate. In this way, worker safety can be ensured.
- the horizontal position of the saw blade guides 6a to 6d is not limited to the position of the above embodiment.
- the saw blade guides 6a to 6d may be provided at positions where the saw blade 9 can be deformed into an ellipse and held.
- only one of the wheels 7 and 8 may be movable, and both may be movable.
- the operator only needs to place the saw blade 9 on the saw blade guides 6a to 6e, and supports the jig as in the prior art. There is no need to perform a heavy work to lift or lift. Therefore, the burden on the operator can be greatly reduced. In addition, a large jig for supporting the entire saw blade 9 is unnecessary, and only small saw blade guides 6a to 6e may be installed. In addition, the saw blade guides 6a to 6e are general-purpose parts that are not affected by the distance between the wheels 7 and 8 (in this embodiment, three types of types A to C), so that the manufacturing cost of the jig can be greatly reduced.
