- FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram for describing content reproduction state control using a text list according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
- FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram for describing content reproduction state control using a text list according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
- FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram for describing content reproduction state control using a text list according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. It is the schematic which shows an example of the operation method at the time of the content reproduction in the information processing apparatus which concerns on this embodiment. It is the schematic which shows the example of a different display of the text list to the text list display area in FIG. It is a functional block diagram which shows the function and structure of the information processing apparatus which concern on this embodiment. It is explanatory drawing for demonstrating the seek position seek control using a text list.
- content playback state control refers to controlling various operations related to content playback. For example, (normal) playback, stop, pause, fast forward, rewind, high speed playback, slow playback, It includes controlling operations such as repeat playback.
- the content playback state control also includes control related to an operation of playing back content from an arbitrary playback position.
- playback state control As an example of playback state control, several methods are conceivable as a method of playing back content from an arbitrary playback position, that is, searching for a desired playback position.
- a general method of seeking the playback position of the content there is a method of seeking the playback position based on the elapsed time during playback of the content, or when the content is a video file, the video data included in the content
- a method for seeking a playback position based on this is known.
- the playback state control method, and the program according to an embodiment of the present disclosure playback of content is controlled based on a text list.
- the text list is a list in which text data associated with elapsed time during playback of content is arranged in order of the elapsed time.
- the present embodiment will be described by taking as an example a case where the content is a moving image file and the text data is a caption corresponding to the moving image file.
- the target content is not limited to a moving image file, and may be various other contents such as a music file.
- the text data is not limited to subtitles, and may be other various text data such as lyrics data corresponding to a music file.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 are explanatory diagrams for explaining content playback state control using a text list according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
- a video list A in which videos in content are arranged in time series with respect to the elapsed time during playback of the content, a time axis B representing the elapsed time during playback of the content, and a text list C are illustrated. .
- the video list A includes a plurality of videos A1, A2, ..., A15.
- Each of the plurality of videos A1, A2,..., A15 is composed of a plurality of frames, that is, has a certain time width and a certain part when content is divided into a plurality of parts.
- a broken line extending from each area representing the images A1, A2,..., A15 to the time axis B is an image corresponding to any elapsed time on the time axis B. It shows whether there is.
- the video list A conceptually represents a method of dividing content on the basis of video.
- the video list A can be divided into several blocks (blocks), and the content can be divided in units of the blocks.
- the video list A is divided into four blocks.
- Block A, block B, block C, and block D include video A1 to A3, video A4 to A7, and video, respectively.
- A8 to A12 and images A13 to A15 are included.
- the creation of the video list A and the division into the blocks A to D may be performed manually by a user, for example, or may be automatically performed using a general tool.
- a general tool there is known a method of automatically dividing a video in accordance with switching of a cut based on a change in a screen configuration, brightness, hue, or the like at the time of video display.
- the text list C includes a plurality of text data C1, C2,.
- Each of the plurality of text data C1, C2,..., C7 has a certain time width and represents a certain part when the content is divided into a plurality of parts.
- the alternate long and short dash line extending from each area representing the text data C1, C2,..., C7 to the time axis B corresponds to which elapsed time on the time axis B the text data corresponding to the area corresponds to. This indicates whether the text data is to be processed. For example, in the example shown in FIG.
- the text data C1 is text data corresponding to the elapsed time t1 of the contents
- the text data C2 is text data corresponding to the elapsed time t2 of the contents
- the text data C3, C4, C5, C6, and C7 are text data corresponding to the elapsed time t3, t4, t5, t6, and t7, respectively. That is, the text list C conceptually represents a method of dividing the content on the basis of text data such as subtitles.
- the text list C is divided into several blocks (blocks) and divide the content in units of the blocks.
- the text list C is divided into three blocks, and the text data C1 to C2, text data C3 to C5, and text data are divided into the blocks a, b, and c, respectively.
- C6 to C7 are included.
- the division of the text list C into several blocks can be performed according to a predetermined standard.
- the predetermined reference may be a case where the time interval between the text data and the text data is free for a certain time, for example, 1 second.
- the block division according to the context can be realized by using the time interval between the text data and the text data as a reference.
- the criterion for dividing the text list C into several blocks is not limited to this example, and other criteria may be used. For the criteria for dividing the text list into blocks, see ⁇ 3.
- the function of the list processing unit 142 which will be described later, is described in “Function and configuration of information processing apparatus>, it will be described in detail.
- a method for dividing the content may be a method of dividing based on video and a method of dividing based on text data.
- the position where the content is divided does not necessarily match between the method of dividing the content on the basis of the video and the method of dividing the content on the basis of the text data. That is, the elapsed time corresponding to the videos A1, A2,..., A15 included in the video list A and the elapsed time corresponding to the text data C1, C2,. Does not necessarily match. For example, even during a series of lines by a certain character, the cut may be changed and the video may be changed.
- a method of seeking the playback position based on the video list A, the time axis B, or the text list C can be considered.
- a method of seeking the playback position based on the video list A will be considered.
- An arrow on the video list A in FIG. 2 indicates that the playback position is sought based on the video list A.
- the seek of the playback position may be performed in units of videos A1, A2,..., A15 included in the video list, or may be performed in units of blocks A, B, C, and D described above. .
- the creation of the video list A and the division of the blocks A to D are performed by the method of automatically dividing the video according to the switching of the cut as described above, for example.
- the video list A is created based on this method, for example, the content may be divided even at the timing when the cut is switched during a series of lines as described above. Therefore, since it is not always possible to realize division according to the context in the content, if the playback position is sought based on the video list A, there may be a problem such that playback is started from the middle of the speech.
- a method in which the user manually creates a video list is also conceivable. For example, it is not possible to manually create the video list A for content with a large capacity (long playback time) or a large number of content. Is not efficient.
- the playback position is sought based on the text list C as shown in FIG.
- An arrow on the text list C in FIG. 3 indicates that the playback position is sought based on the text list C. Since the text list C is created based on the text data, it is possible to realize a method of dividing the content more in line with the context and the intention of the scene.
- the seek of the playback position may be performed in units of text data C1, C2,..., C7 included in the text list C, or may be performed in units of the blocks a, b, and c described above. .
- the playback state of content is controlled based on the text list. Therefore, for example, when seeking the playback position, seeking can be performed more in line with the context and the intention of the scene, and the convenience for the user can be further improved.
- text data has a smaller capacity than video data. Therefore, the process of creating a text list based on text data requires less processing cost than the process of creating a video list based on video data, so the list can be created more easily. . Therefore, the use of the text list does not require a relatively high-performance processing device, and the burden on the user is reduced.
- the content is video data recording a lecture or lecture
- the screen on which the lecturer, the lecturer, or the lecture material is projected is continuously shot as the video data.
- the playback position can be sought based on the instructors and speakers while referring to the statements.
- the desired scene to be viewed can be sought more effectively.
- FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating an example of an operation method during content reproduction state control in the information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
- FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing different display examples of the text list in the text list display area in FIG.
- the information processing apparatus 10 may be a device having a touch panel, such as a smartphone or a tablet PC.
- the information processing apparatus 10 includes a display screen 115 having a touch panel function.
- the display screen 115 includes a sensor that detects the position of the operating tool on the screen, and the user can perform various operations by detecting the position of the operating tool on the surface of the display screen 115.
- the operation body may be a finger or a tool such as a stylus pen.
- the position of the operating tool on the display screen 115 may be detected when the operating tool touches (touches) the surface of the display screen 115. For example, the operating tool is displayed on the display screen 115 using an optical sensor or the like.
