Description

GAME SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD USED FOR THE SAME, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
The present invention relates to a game system in which a privilege is granted based on a lottery result.
A game system in which a privilege is granted based on a lottery result is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Japanese Patent No. 4701281
The game system of Patent Document 1 includes a game machine that provides a medal game, and uses a medal that can be used on the game machine as a privilege. The medals are provided through a game machine. That is, the game machine provides a prize that can be used with its own game machine as a privilege. On the other hand, there is a lottery game that gives a prize for another game machine that provides a different game as a privilege of the lottery result. Such a lottery game may promote the use of other games provided by other game machines. However, since the prize is determined by lottery, it is determined regardless of the player's play history. Further, since the prize is related to the game, it may be acquired by playing the game. For this reason, for example, a prize already owned may be given as a lottery result. In such a case, the interest of the lottery game is reduced. In addition, a prize related to a game played conventionally may be given. In this case, the prize does not function as a motive for playing other games. Therefore, in these cases, the use of other games is not sufficiently promoted.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a game system or the like that can promote the use of a plurality of types of games.
The game system of the present invention is a game system that provides a plurality of types of games, and includes player identification information for identifying each player and a play history for determining whether or not each of the plurality of types of games is played. History data storage means for storing play history data described in association with each other and a plurality of prizes respectively associated with the plurality of types of games when a predetermined condition is satisfied. Based on the play history data, an opportunity providing means for providing a lottery opportunity to draw a prize to be determined, and an unplayed game determination for determining, for each player, an unplayed game that is not played by a player among the plurality of types of games And at the lottery opportunity, based on the determination result of the unplayed game determination means, As prize to be given to tire, and a, a prize selecting means for drawing the prize associated with the non-playing game from the plurality of prize.
According to the present invention, an unplayed game that is not played by the player is determined from a plurality of types of games, and a prize related to the unplayed game is given to the player. Since the prize is related to an unplayed game, even if the prize can be acquired by playing the game, it is unlikely that the player has acquired the prize through play. That is, it is unlikely that the player will obtain a prize in duplicate. Moreover, since it is related to the unplayed game, the prize functions as a motive for playing the unplayed game. For this reason, the play of an unplayed game can be more reliably promoted through the prize. Thereby, since the use of a game different from a game that has already been played can be promoted, the use of a plurality of types of games can be promoted.
Any condition may be adopted as a predetermined condition for providing a lottery opportunity. For example, in one aspect of the game system of the present invention, the predetermined condition may be satisfied when the number of lottery opportunities provided for each player is equal to or less than a predetermined number within a predetermined period.
In one aspect of the game system of the present invention, the game system of the present invention further includes a server device that provides a terminal service to a user terminal connected via a network, and the lottery opportunity includes the user terminal as one of the terminal services. May also be provided. In this case, since the convenience of providing the lottery opportunity can be improved, the use of a plurality of types of games can be further promoted.
-Multiple types of games may be provided in any way. For example, in one aspect of the game system of the present invention, the game system may further include a plurality of game machines that provide different types of games, and the plurality of types of games may be provided through each game machine.
As long as it is associated with a plurality of types of games, any prize may be used as a prize given at the lottery opportunity. For example, in one aspect of the game system of the present invention, a digital prize may be used as the plurality of prizes. In this case, provision of actual prizes can be easily realized. The digital prize means a prize realized electronically. Therefore, a digital prize means an intangible object.
The control method of the present invention is a game system that provides a plurality of types of games, and includes player identification information for identifying each player and a play history for determining whether or not each of the plurality of types of games is played. When a predetermined condition is satisfied in a computer incorporated in a game system including history data storage means for storing play history data described in association with each other, a plurality of types of information are associated with the plurality of types of games, respectively. Based on the play history data, an opportunity providing step of providing a lottery opportunity to draw a prize to be given to the player from among the prizes, and an unplayed game that has not been played by the player among the plurality of types of games. In the unplayed game discriminating step for discriminating every time, and in the lottery opportunity, Based on the determination result of the over-time determination step, the prize to be given to the player, is intended to execute, and prize lottery process of lottery prize associated with the non-playing game from the plurality of prize.
A computer program for a game system of the present invention is a game system that provides a plurality of types of games, and determines player identification information for identifying each player and whether or not each of the plurality of types of games is played. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, a computer incorporated in a game system including history data storage means for storing play history data in which play history information is described in association with each other is included in each of the plurality of types of games. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the game system according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an outline of the overall configuration of a game system according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the game system 1 includes a plurality of game machines GM and a center server 3 as a server device. The game machine GM is a commercial (commercial) game machine that allows a user to play a game within a range according to the price in exchange for consumption of a predetermined price. An appropriate number of game machines GM are installed in a commercial facility such as a store 4 as a facility. The plurality of game machines GM include game machines that provide different types of games. Or each game machine GM may be comprised so that a several different game may be provided by one.
ネットワーク5は、WAN(ワイドエリアネットワーク)5A及び、LAN(ローカルエリアネットワーク)5Bを含んでいる。 Each game machine GM and the center server 3 are connected via a network 5 so that they can communicate with each other. The network 5 includes a WAN (wide area network) 5A and a LAN (local area network) 5B. As the WAN 5A, for example, the Internet that realizes network communication using the TCP / IP protocol is used. The LAN 5B is constructed for each store 4 so as to connect the game machines GM in each store 4 to each other. The LAN 5B is constructed by an intranet using the TCP / IP protocol, for example. The LAN 5B and the center server 3 are connected to the WAN 5A via the router 6.
Note that a local server may be installed between the game machine GM and the router 6, and the game machine GM may be connected to the center server 3 via the local server. Further, the center server 3 is not limited to an example configured by a single physical device. For example, one logical center server 3 may be configured by a server group as a plurality of physical devices. Furthermore, the center server 3 may be logically configured using cloud computing. Further, the game machine GM may function as the center server 3.
店舗4のLAN5Bには、更に、管理用PC(パーソナルコンピュータの略であり、以下同様とする。) The management PC (abbreviation of personal computer, the same shall apply hereinafter) 7 may be further connected to the LAN 5B of the store 4. The management PC 7 is used for the purpose of the operator of the store 4 managing the game machine GM, or accessing the center server 3 to transmit and receive various types of information.
Further, in the game system 1, access from the user terminal 8 to the center server 3 via the network 5 is possible. As the user terminal 8, for example, a computer device capable of network connection such as a personal computer 8a, a mobile phone 8b (including a smartphone), or the like may be appropriately used. In the present specification, when a user uses the game machine GM or plays a game via the user terminal 8, the user is particularly referred to as a player.
Each game machine GM and the center server 3 have unique information that can be identified on the network 5. Thereby, on the game system 1, each game machine GM and the center server 3 can be identified. For example, an IP address may be used as such unique information. If the network 5 is a public network such as the Internet, a unique fixed address on the network 5 is set for each router 6. Each game machine GM or the like is set with an IP address as a private address for uniquely recognizing the game machine GM or the like on the network 5 in combination with the fixed address. In this case, a virtual private network (VPN) is established between the game machine GM and the center server 3, and each game machine GM and the like are uniquely specified on the VPN using a private address. The same applies to the management PC 7.
The user terminal 8 is also given a unique IP address for uniquely identifying the user terminal 8 on the network 5. The IP address may be a so-called dynamic address that changes every time it is connected to the network 5, or may be a fixed address that does not change. Hereinafter, information for identifying each game machine GM, the center server 3, the management PC 7, and the user terminal 8 on the network 5 is referred to as address information. In communication via the network 5, it is assumed that the other party to communicate with is specified based on the address information unless otherwise specified.
In addition, in the game system 1, a unique store ID is set for each store 4, and a unique housing ID is set for each game machine GM, separately from the address information described above. At least a part of the ID management data 22 and the play data 25 is provided from the center server 3 so as to include a part associated with the player who executes the arcade game when the arcade game is executed, for example. 31.
Also, the user terminal 8 is provided with a control unit 40 and a storage device 41. The control unit 40 is configured as a computer unit that combines a microprocessor and various peripheral devices such as an internal storage device (for example, ROM and RAM) necessary for the operation of the microprocessor. The control unit 40 is connected to various input devices and output devices of a known computer device that can be connected to the network.
The storage device 41 is connected to the control unit 40. The storage device 41 is configured by, for example, a non-volatile semiconductor storage device or the like so that the storage can be held even when power is not supplied. A terminal program 45 is stored in the storage device 41. The terminal program 45 is a computer program necessary for the user terminal 8 to receive a web service from the center server 3. When the control unit 40 reads and executes the terminal program 45, a Web service processing unit 46 is provided inside the control unit 40.
The Web service processing unit 46 executes various processes necessary for the user to use the Web service in cooperation with the Web service management unit 17 of the center server 3, for example. As an example of such a Web service, the Web service processing unit 46 executes a well-known process necessary for providing a game information service. As another example of the Web service, the Web service processing unit 46 also executes a process necessary for providing a prize lottery service or a well-known process necessary for providing a community service. The Web service processing unit 46 is a logical device realized by a combination of computer hardware and a computer program. Various other logical devices may be provided inside the control unit 40, but these are not shown.
Furthermore, the storage device 41 stores various data that can be referred to as the terminal program 45 is executed. Such various data includes, for example, play data 25. For example, at least a part of the play data 25 is provided from the center server 3 and stored in the storage device 41 so that a part necessary for providing the Web service is included.
Next, details of the ID management data 22, the lottery data 24, the play data 25, the game history data 26, and the game management data 27 will be described. The ID management data 22 is data in which correspondence relationships between various IDs used in the game system 1 are described. For example, as described above, the correspondence relationship between the card ID (s) and the user ID is recorded in the ID management data 22. For example, the correspondence between the chassis ID and the store ID may be recorded.
The play data 25 is a set of data created for each user ID. When a player plays an arcade game on any game machine GM, the card ID that the player has recognized by the game machine GM is provided to the center server 3. Then, at least a part of the play data 25 corresponding to the user ID associated with the card ID is provided from the center server 3 to the game machine GM and stored in the storage device 31 of the game machine GM. The same applies when a web service is provided. That is, at least a part is provided from the center server 3 to the user terminal 8 or the like so as to include a part corresponding to the user ID based on the user ID or the like used for the Web service.
The play data 25 includes, for example, play log information in addition to the user ID. Each piece of information in the play data 25 is described in association with the user ID. The play log is information related to the play history of an arcade game or a mobile game. As the play log, for example, information related to the player's past play contents such as the player's past play count, competition results, and owned items is recorded. A play log is provided for each type of game. That is, in the play data 25, a play log for each type of game is associated with each user ID. Further, the play log may include update date / time information indicating the date / time when predetermined information is updated, such as the number of times of play. When the update date / time information corresponds to the update of the play log play count information, the play count and the update date / time information may be used in, for example, a game in which the play count within a day is limited. That is, when the number of plays within a predetermined period (including one day) is limited, the play log may include information indicating the number of plays within the predetermined period.
The game management data 27 is data for managing each game that can be provided by each game machine GM connected to the center server 3 via the network 5. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the contents of the game management data 27. As shown in FIG. 3, the game management data 27 includes update date and time and game ID information. The game management data 27 is a set of records in which these pieces of information are described in association with each other. The game ID is information for identifying each game that can be provided by each game machine GM. As the game ID, for example, a unique number is used for each type of game. The game ID is associated with the update date / time information. The update date / time is information indicating the date / time when the record was created. One record includes a plurality of game IDs corresponding to a plurality of games that can be provided by each game machine GM at the date and time corresponding to the update date and time. In the example of FIG. 3, “game IDa” and “game IDb” are associated with “update date and time”. That is, this example shows a case where each game machine GM can provide at least two types of games corresponding to “game IDa” and “game IDb” on the date corresponding to “update date / time”.
The game history data 26 is data for managing a play history related to the type of game played by each user in the past. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of the contents of the game history data 26. As shown in FIG. 4, the game history data 26 includes a user ID as player identification information and game ID information as play history information. The game history data 26 is a set of records in which these pieces of information are described in association with each other. The user ID is information for identifying each user. As the user ID, for example, a unique number is used for each user. The game ID is information for identifying each game that can be provided by each game machine GM, similarly to the game management data 27. Each user ID is associated with a plurality of game IDs corresponding to each game played by the user corresponding to each user ID in the past. Note that the play history related to the type of game is associated with the user ID via the card ID used in the game machine GM, for example.
In the example of FIG. 4, two game IDs of “game IDa” and “game IDc” are associated with the user ID included in one record. That is, in this example, a record corresponding to a user ID of a user who has played a game corresponding to two game IDs “game IDa” and “game IDc” in the past is shown. Compared with the example of FIG. 3, at the time when the record of the example of FIG. 3 is applied, each game machine GM can also play a game corresponding to “game IDb”. On the other hand, the record in the example of FIG. 4 does not include the game ID information corresponding to “game IDb”. That is, in the example of FIG. 4, a record corresponding to a user who has not yet played a game corresponding to “Game IDb” among games that can be provided by each game machine GM (not played) is shown.
The lottery data 24 is data for defining the lottery probability of each prize that can be given by the prize lottery service. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the contents of the lottery data 24. As shown in FIG. 5, the lottery data 24 includes game ID, premium, and probability information. The lottery data 24 is a set of records in which these pieces of information are described in association with each other. The game ID information is the same as the game management data 27 and the like. The information on the prize is information indicating each prize that can be given by the prize lottery service. The probability information is information indicating the probability that each prize will be drawn in the prize lottery service. In the example of FIG. 5, for example, “Premium a” and “Probability a” are associated with “Game IDa”. In this case, a “prize a” for a game corresponding to “game IDa” is prepared as a premium for the prize lottery service, and it is defined that the lottery probability is “probability a”. Similarly, the lottery data 24 includes information on each prize that can be used in each game that can be played on the game machine GM, and information on the probability that the prize will be drawn.
Next, the prize lottery service provided by the center server 3 will be further described. The prize lottery service includes a prize lottery game for drawing various prizes. In addition, various prizes drawn in the prize lottery game are associated with each game provided by each game machine GM. That is, in the prize lottery game, various prizes related to each game provided by each game machine GM are drawn. The prize lottery game is provided free of charge, for example, once a day. The number of free times and the period may be set arbitrarily. A paid play that provides a prize lottery game in exchange for consumption of a predetermined price may be provided. The prize lottery game may be provided by combining free play and paid play, or may be provided by only one of them.
FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the outline of the prize lottery game. As shown in FIG. 6, the prize lottery game is provided via the user terminal 8, for example. In the prize lottery game, a prize related to an unplayed game is given as a privilege based on the play history of the user who plays the prize lottery game. Examples of such prizes include items that can be used in each game, standby screens that can be used on the mobile phone 8b and the like (screens related to the game, such as characters in the game), ringtones (music used in the game) Etc.), digital prizes such as avatars (characters in the game corresponding to the player, including their clothes and forms) are used. A digital prize is a prize realized electronically. That is, the digital prize means an intangible object.
The flow of the prize lottery game will be further explained. First, with the start of the prize lottery game, an unplayed game is specified based on the game management data 27 and the game history data 26. Next, a prize group associated with an unplayed game is specified. Then, a prize to be given to the user is selected from the specified prize group. In the example of FIG. 6, “game b” is specified as an unplayed game based on the game management data 27 and the game history data 26. In the example of FIGS. 3 and 4, for example, a game corresponding to “game IDb” corresponds to “game b”. Further, a prize group SG associated with the unplayed game is specified. And the prize S is given to the user as a privilege from the prize group SG. Thus, in the prize lottery game, a prize S related to a game that the user has not played among the games that can be played on the game machine GM is given to the user. Note that the lottery data 24 may be used for managing the prize group SG.
Also, in the prize lottery game, for example, the lottery result is notified to the user through the lottery game screen. Such a lottery result may be notified through, for example, a moving image in which a lottery mechanism image included in the lottery game screen operates to draw one of the prize group SG images. The lottery game screen is displayed on the display device of the user terminal 8, for example. The lottery result may include a case where the prize S is given to the user (in the case of winning) and a case where the prize S is not given to the user (in the case of a loss).
Next, the prize lottery process will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a flowchart of a prize lottery processing routine. The routine of FIG. 7 is implemented by the control unit 10 of the center server 3 and the control unit 40 of the user terminal 8 in cooperation. More specifically, the routine of FIG. 7 is executed through the Web service management unit 17 of the control unit 10 and the Web service processing unit 46 of the control unit 40. In addition to the routine of FIG. 7, each control unit 10, 30, 40 has various types such as for executing an arcade game, providing a service for a game machine, or providing a web service. However, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
7 is executed each time a predetermined lottery game start process is executed, for example. The predetermined lottery game start process is executed, for example, when a predetermined operation for starting the prize lottery game is performed on the lottery game screen provided as one of the prize lottery services. In FIG. 7, for the sake of simplicity, the Web service processing unit 46 may be described as executing entity processing as the user terminal 8, and the Web service management unit 17 may be described as executing entity processing as the center server 3.
7 is started, in step S11, the user terminal 8 determines whether or not a predetermined start condition is satisfied. For example, when the prize lottery game is provided for a fee, this determination is performed based on whether or not a predetermined value for paying the prize lottery game is paid. Specifically, when a predetermined price is paid, a predetermined start condition is satisfied. On the other hand, when there is no payment of a predetermined price, the predetermined start condition is not satisfied. Further, when there are restrictions on the play conditions such as the number of times of play within a predetermined period, the determination in step S11 is executed based on the play conditions. For example, when the number of plays within a predetermined period is equal to or less than a predetermined number, a predetermined start condition is satisfied. On the other hand, when the number of plays within a predetermined period exceeds the predetermined number, the predetermined start condition is not satisfied. When the determination result is a negative result, that is, when the predetermined start condition is not satisfied, the user terminal 8 skips the subsequent processing and ends the current routine.
On the other hand, if the determination result in step S11 is a positive result, that is, if a predetermined start condition is satisfied, the user terminal 8 proceeds to step S12. In step S <b> 12, the user terminal 8 notifies the center server 3 of the lottery start. This notification includes, for example, a user ID for identifying the user (player). When the center server 3 receives the lottery start notification from the user terminal 8, the center server 3 starts the prize lottery processing routine of FIG. Note that if the prize lottery game is provided free of charge and there are no play conditions, the process of step S11 may be omitted. In this case, the routine of FIG. 7 may be started from step S12.
When the center server 3 starts the routine of FIG. 7, first, in step S21, based on the game management data 27 and the game history data 26, the center server 3 determines whether or not there is an unplayed game of the user who should provide the prize lottery game. This determination is performed as follows, for example. First, the center server 3 compares each game ID included in the latest record of the game management data 27 with each game ID in the game history data 26 corresponding to the user ID of the user who should provide the prize lottery game. . Next, each game ID that is present in the game management data 27 but is not included (not present) in the game history data 26 is specified. And when there is no such game ID in the game management data 27, the center server 3 determines the result that there is no unplayed game. On the other hand, when such a game ID exists in the game management data 27, the center server 3 determines the result that there is an unplayed game. In this way, the center server 3 executes the determination in step S21. If the determination result is negative, that is, if there is no unplayed game, the next step S22 is skipped and the process proceeds to step S23.
On the other hand, if the determination result in step S21 is a positive result, that is, if there is an unplayed game, the center server 3 proceeds to step S22. In step S <b> 22, the center server 3 specifies each prize to be a lottery target. This specification is performed as follows, for example. First, the center server 3 extracts a record corresponding to the game ID of the unplayed game specified in step S21 from the lottery data 24, and generates extracted lottery data 24 composed of the extracted records. Then, the information of each prize included in the extracted lottery data 24 is specified as the prize for the current lottery. In this way, the identification in step S22 is executed.
In subsequent step S23, the center server 3 carries out a lottery. Specifically, the center server 3 executes a process for drawing a prize to be given to the user from the prize group based on the lottery data 24. This process is executed using the extracted lottery data 24 when the extracted lottery data 24 is generated. Further, this process may be realized according to various known lottery processes using random numbers or other computers. The lottery is executed based on the lottery data 24 (including the extracted lottery data 24), but the lottery probability of each prize may be changed when a predetermined change condition is satisfied. . As a case where such a predetermined change condition is satisfied, for example, a predetermined bonus condition may be employed. That is, when a predetermined bonus condition is satisfied, a state in which the lottery probability of a premium having a high value as a bonus is temporarily increased may be given.
In the next step S24, the center server 3 updates various data so that the lottery result in step S23 is reflected in the necessary data. When there is data for managing each prize given by the prize lottery game, such data is included in various data. Further, for example, play data 25 may be included in one of the various data. Specifically, for example, when a prize given by lottery is an item used in a game, information indicating an item given by lottery may be added as information on items owned by the play log. In subsequent step S25, the center server 3 notifies the user terminal 8 of the lottery result in step S23. This notification may include various updated data necessary for the user terminal 8 to notify the lottery result, such as the updated play data 25, for example.
On the other hand, when the user terminal 8 obtains the lottery result notification from the center server 3 in step S13, the process proceeds to step S14. In step S14, the user terminal 8 executes a process according to the lottery result. As such a process, for example, a process of replacing various data such as a process of replacing the existing play data 25 with the latest play data 25 acquired from the center server 3 is executed. In subsequent step S15, the user terminal 8 displays the lottery result. This display is executed through, for example, a lottery game screen. In addition, this display includes, for example, a display of a state in which a prize is lottery. The display of this state is realized, for example, when the lottery game screen includes a moving image in which the image of the lottery mechanism operates so as to select one prize from among a large number of prizes. Thereby, a prize lottery game in which each prize related to the unplayed game is given to each user is realized.
As described above, according to this embodiment, a prize lottery game is provided through the user terminal 8, and a prize related to an unplayed game is given in the prize lottery game. For example, prizes related to the game, such as items usable in the game, may be acquired in each game. However, in the prize lottery game, a prize related to an unplayed game is given. Therefore, there is a low possibility that premiums that have already been acquired through game play or the like will be given. Also, since the prize is related to an unplayed game, the prize functions as a motivation for an unplayed game. For this reason, the play of an unplayed game can be promoted more reliably. This promotes the use of not only already played games but also other unplayed games. That is, the player can be promoted to play a plurality of types of games.
In the above embodiment, when the control unit 10 of the center server 3 executes the routine of FIG. 7 through the Web service management unit 17, it functions as an opportunity providing means, an unplayed game determination means, and a prize lottery means of the present invention. . Further, by storing the game history data 26, the storage device 11 of the center server 3 functions as the history data storage means of the present invention.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described form, and can be implemented in an appropriate form. In the above-described embodiment, a digital prize is used as a prize. However, the prize is not limited to such a form. For example, a physical prize may be used as a prize. A physical prize means a tangible object. The physical prize may be delivered at the store 4. There is a possibility that a game machine GM that provides an unplayed game is arranged in the store 4. Therefore, in this case, the use of an unplayed game can be further promoted. Further, the management PC 7 may be used for delivery of physical prizes. Further, delivery management data for managing delivery status may be provided. The delivery management data may include status information in which contents such as “delivery completed” and “waiting for delivery” are updated based on, for example, a delivery completion instruction from the store 4. Further, the physical prize may be sent to the player's residence or the like by mail or the like.
In the above-described form, the prize is associated with various arcade games provided by the game machine GM. However, the prize is not limited to such a form. For example, the prize may be associated with various mobile games provided by the user terminal 8. The mobile game is highly convenient for the player. Therefore, in this case, the use of a plurality of types of games can be promoted. Furthermore, in this case, the game system 1 may be configured only by the server device.
In the above-described form, the prize lottery game is provided via the user terminal 8. However, the prize lottery game is not limited to such a form. For example, the prize lottery game may be provided via the game machine GM. Therefore, the game system 1 may be configured only by the game machine GM.
