上面開口部4A,4Bの少なくとも一方は、植栽容器Aに収納された植栽床材Bを介して植物Pに植栽用水Wを供給するための給水口として利用される。
また、概して板状の植栽床材Bに対して前後方向に貫通形成された5つの植栽用貫通孔Hも、同様に全体として上下方向の中心よりも上方に変位した位置に配置されている。
その結果、図5に示すように、植栽容器Aに収納された植栽床材Bが植栽用水によって膨潤後の状態では、植栽床材Bに配置されている5つの植栽用貫通孔Hが、このように上方に変位した植栽用窓部5Bの内側に概して均等に配分される。
図6に示すように、ブロー成形直後の状態では、オーバーフロー管10Bの下端は盲管状に閉じられているため、そのままではオーバーフロー部10として機能せず、販売者やユーザーなどによってオーバーフロー管10Bの下端部が10Cの位置で概して水平に切り取られたときに初めて、堰部10Aを超える余分な植栽用水がオーバーフロー管10Bを介して下方にオーバーフローされる状態となる。
フレームCを植栽容器Aに外嵌装着させる際には、図7に示すように、植栽用窓部5Bを形成した正面壁部A1に表板部C1が重ね合わされるようにする。
フレームCの天面側の側板部C3には植栽用水を供給するための1つの上部貫通孔21が形成されており、フレームCの底面側の側板部C2にはオーバーフロー管10Bから流下した余分な植栽用水を植栽装置の外に排水するための1つの下部貫通孔22が形成されている。
また、植栽容器Aの水位確認部14には、オーバーフロー部10の堰部10Aの高さと対応する基準水位を示す水平な直線状の指標14Aが突出形成されている。
ここでは、向かって右側で上下に積み重ねた2つの植栽容器Aは正面壁部A1に植栽用窓部5Bを形成しているが、向かって左側で上下に積み重ねた2つの植栽容器Aは背面壁部A2に植栽用窓部5Bを形成している。したがって、4個の植栽容器Aは、いずれもオーバーフロー管10Bが左右の中央寄りに配置されることで、全体としてシンメトリー(左右対称)の形態とされている。
また、フレームCXの左右の側板部には、4個の植栽容器Aの各水位確認部14と嵌合する全部で4つの水位確認窓24が形成されている。
図10は、フレームCを用いずに、4個の植栽容器Aを上下左右に並べて壁面に設置した状態を示す。ここでも、向かって右側で上下に積み重ねた2つの植栽容器Aは正面壁部A1に植栽用窓部5Bを形成しているが、向かって左側で上下に積み重ねた2つの植栽容器Aは背面壁部A2に植栽用窓部5Bを形成している。したがって、4個の植栽容器Aは、いずれもオーバーフロー管10Bが左右の中央寄りに配置されることで、全体としてシンメトリー(左右対称)の形態とされている。

Claims (9)
- 植栽用水を貯留可能な貯水部と、吸水性の植栽床材を載置可能な植栽用空間とを備え、前記植栽床材を露出させる開口部を少なくとも正面側に形成可能とされている一つまたは複数の植栽容器、及び
前記一つまたは複数の植栽容器を囲むように着脱自在に支持可能なフレーム部材を有し、
前記植栽容器の外周の一部に突出部が形成されており、前記フレーム部材の外周に前記突出部と嵌合される係止開口部が設けられている植栽装置。 - 前記植栽容器には所定高さを超える植栽用水を排水するオーバーフロー管が一体形成されている請求項1に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記突出部が前記オーバーフロー管の下端である請求項2に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記オーバーフロー管は正面視において鉛直線に対して傾斜状に形成されている請求項2または3に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記植栽容器の少なくとも一方の側面に透明な水位確認部が突出形成されており、該水位確認部が前記突出部を構成する請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記植栽容器は樹脂のブロー成形によって一体形成されている請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記開口部が上下の中心よりも上方に変位配置されており、前記開口部の下方に前記植栽床材を前後方向から支持する一対の支持部が内面向きに突出形成されている請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記植栽容器の両側面に前記植栽用空間に向かって突出する把手部が一体形成されており、前記把手部は前記植栽床材の横向きの移動を規制する規制手段を兼ねている請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の植栽装置。
- 前記植栽容器は前記正面側と対向する背面側を有し、前記背面側に前記開口部と対向した補助開口部を形成可能とされている請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の植栽装置。
