- the filter unit 18a is formed of, for example, paper or non-woven fabric, captures fine particles on the outer surface, and obtains purified air on the inner side.
- the filter portion 18a is bent so as to repeat the peaks and valleys in the circumferential direction, and the lower end is attached to the lower flange 18b and the upper end is airtightly attached to the upper flange 18c.
- the opening of the lower flange 18b is closed by the disk of the pedestal 14, but a disk may be adopted instead of the lower flange 18b to close the lower part of the internal space of the filter 18.
- the periphery of the upper flange 18c of the filter 18 is airtightly attached to the inner surface of the main body casing 12, and the periphery of the lower flange 18b or the upper disk portion of the pedestal 14 is airtightly attached to the inner surface of the main body casing 12. Accordingly, the inner space of the filter portion 18a communicates with the outside only through the central opening of the upper flange 18c, and is partitioned by the filter portion 18a and the outer side of the filter portion 18a.
- the main body casing 12 positioned outside the filter portion 18a is provided with a plurality of openings 12a, and the outer space of the filter portion 18a communicates with the external space.
- a filter fan 20 is provided above the upper flange 18 c in the main body casing 12.
- a stay 22 having a peripheral ring and a central disk and connected between the peripheral ring and the central disk by a plurality of radial connection bars is disposed.

- a plurality of openings are formed in the main body casing 12 above the filter fan 20, that is, above the stay 22, and serve as vent holes 26 communicating with the outside.
- the exhaust fan 28 is disposed in the main body casing 12 above the vent hole 26. That is, a stay 30 having the same configuration as that of the stay 22 is disposed above the vent hole 26, a motor 32 is mounted on the central disk of the stay 30, and an exhaust fan is mounted on a rotating shaft extending upward from the motor 32. 28 blades 28a are attached. Therefore, when the motor 32 rotates, the blades 28a are rotated and the exhaust fan 28 is driven.

It is blown toward.
- “Cleaning + circulation mode (second mode)" When the air blowing capacity of the filter fan 20 and that of the exhaust fan 28 are the same, and both are blown upward, the air blowing capacity of the filter fan 20 is reduced by the pressure loss of the filter portion 18a. The air is blown upward while sucking outside air from the vent hole 26. Further, even if the air blowing capacity of the exhaust fan 28 is larger than that of the filter fan 20, the outside air is sucked from the vent hole 26 and blown upward.

By switching the air blowing direction of the exhaust fan, the mode is switched between the mode in which air is sucked in from the vent 26 and exhausted upward and the mode in which air is sucked in from the top and exhausted laterally from the vent 26 can do.
- “Cleaning mode (first mode)" By stopping the exhaust fan 28 and driving only the filter fan 20, the air that has passed through the filter 18 is discharged upward. In this case, air may be exhausted from the vent hole 26, but in many cases, the air escapes upward. The indoor air is circulated by the air discharged upward, but the air volume is small and the air circulation function is relatively small as compared with the case where the exhaust fan 28 is driven. Note that the air flow may be reduced instead of stopping the exhaust fan 28.
- ⁇ Second Embodiment> 6 to 9 show the configuration of the second embodiment.
- a sirocco fan which is a centrifugal fan, is used as the filter fan 20. That is, in the filter fan 20, a large number of plate-like blades 40 that are shifted from the radial direction to one direction as viewed from above are arranged in a cylindrical shape.

- the internal space of the filter portion 18 a and the internal space of the cylindrical blade 40 communicate with each other through the central opening of the ring 44.
- centrifugal type fans such as sirocco fans can increase the pressure difference between the suction side and the discharge side compared to the axial flow type. Therefore, by making the filter fan 20 a centrifugal type and the exhaust fan 28 an axial flow type, an efficient filtration process can be performed in consideration of the pressure loss due to the filter 18. 26 can be used for efficient air blowing.

Abstract
