前記前端壁部の前方側で前記レール側部分と前記ピラー側部分とを連結する連結部分と、
を有することを特徴とする車体側部構造。 - 前記センタピラーは、車幅方向内側に位置するピラー側壁と、前記ピラー側壁の前端及び後端から車幅外側に延出するピラー前壁及びピラー後壁と、前記ピラー前壁の車幅外側端部から前方側に延出するピラー前フランジと、前記ピラー後壁の車幅外側端部から後方側に延出するピラー後フランジとにより断面ハット状部を有するよう形成されており、
前記ブラケットの前記ピラー側部分は、前記ピラー前フランジ及び前記ピラー後フランジに結合されるとともに、前記断面ハット状部の車幅外側に向けて開放する開放部を閉塞するように結合されることで前記ピラー閉断面部を構成する、請求項1に記載の車体側部構造。 - 前記ブラケットはブラケット側壁部を有し、前記ブラケットの前記ピラー側部分は、前記ブラケット側壁部の前端若しくは後端から車幅中央側に延出するとともに、前記断面ハット状部の断面内において前記ピラー前壁若しくは前記ピラー後壁に結合される断面内結合部を有している、請求項2記載の車体側部構造。
- 前記ブラケットの連結部分は、前記断面内結合部へのスポットガンのアクセスを可能とする貫通孔を有している、請求項3に記載の車体側部構造。
- 前記ブラケットの連結部分は、前記ブラケット側壁部の前記前端及び前記後端から車幅中央に向けて延出するアッパフランジ及びロアフランジを備えるとともに、前記ブラケット側壁部と前記アッパフランジと前記ロアフランジとにより形成される断面U字状部を有する、請求項3に記載の車体側部構造。
- 前記ルーフサイドレールは、前記ルーフパネルが載置される第1レールフランジと、前記第1レールフランジの車幅外側端部から垂下するレール縦壁と、前記レール縦壁の下端から車幅外側に延出するレール底壁と、前記レール底壁の車幅外側端部から垂下する第2レールフランジとを備えており、
前記ブラケットの前記レール側部分は、前記第1レールフランジに結合される第1結合部と、前記第1結合部から車幅外側に延出するブラケット上壁部と、前記ブラケット上壁部の車幅外側端部から垂下するブラケット側壁部と、前記ブラケット側壁部の下端から下方に突出するとともに前記第2レールフランジに結合される第2結合部とを備え、前記第1結合部及び前記第2結合部が前記ルーフサイドレールに結合されることで前記レール閉断面部を構成する、請求項1に記載の車体側部構造。
