Definitions
- the invention relates to a bicycle frame according to the preamble of claim 1 of an extruded hollow profile with two outer segments and an inner segment, which are formed by two extending from the top to the bottom of the bicycle frame walls.
- EP 0 583 221 A1 discloses a bicycle frame comprising a head tube, a seat tube and a frame tube, wherein the frame tube is a frame tube pair and at least one of said components is made of an extruded profile.
- the bicycle frame has the following disadvantages: -
- the bicycle frame is suitable for bicycles, as a traction mechanism as
- the bicycle frame can be made foldable for the construction of folding wheels by design only with great effort.
- Sprocket by means of a separate dropout (for example, by means of the extruded profile provided here for receiving the seat tube) are arranged so far below the frame tube pair that it does not cut the bicycle frame, and the upper chain strand must still be performed below the bicycle frame through the output sprocket can cut without the bicycle frame.
- Frame side parts known, wherein the frame side parts can be carried out as extruded profiles, which are connected in the middle with spacer elements.
- This bicycle frame has the disadvantage that it consists of at least two frame side parts and separate spacers are provided between the two frame side parts.
- Bottom bracket housing is very close to the bottom bracket shell, so this connection must be made very stable due to the bending moment loads occurring there.
- Hollow profile can be produced and having four segments, wherein two outer segments form the outwardly curved rear struts and a lower segment bent down and out before the rear wheel to the bottom bracket and connected to the bottom bracket and removes the fourth inner segment in the region of the rear wheel is.
- Rear struts are provided with grooves in which the rear wheel axle with the
- Rear struts is attached.
- a disadvantage of this bicycle frame is that the inclusion of the rear wheel and the positioning of the bottom bracket is only achieved by the fact that the individual segments of the extruded profile must be bent, which is associated with high manufacturing costs and thus the individual segments are significantly weakened in their strength.
- Bicycles and bicycle frames which provide a lying outside the bicycle frame drive sprocket and a lying between the bicycle frame and rear driven sprocket, have the disadvantage that the two rear struts of the bicycle frame seen from the bottom bracket must extend outward and thus can not run parallel. The resulting manufacturing effort is correspondingly high.
- these bicycle frame have the disadvantage that the distance between bottom bracket and rear axle must be at least so large that enough space remains to guide the rear strut between the drive sprocket and the driven sprocket axially from the inside out.
- the invention has for its object to provide a cost-producible, consisting of a few parts bicycle frame, which is particularly suitable for bicycles with wheels of size 16 inches and smaller and can be installed in the cost savings, the rear wheel as possible without additional dropouts.
- Bicycle frame are arranged, which also belt drives and gear transmission can be used as a drive system.
- the hollow profile in the outer segments has stabilizing transverse walls which support the transverse forces acting on the bicycle frame.
- the bottom bracket can be connected directly to the bicycle frame because

- the invention also encompasses all embodiments in which the two outer segments of the hollow profile and / or the inner segment of the hollow profile are again subdivided by further walls or in which the hollow profile has additional profile elements located outside the cavities (eg for cable guidance Etc.). It is understood that the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 7 can also be made foldable with the same principles as in FIG. 6. To accommodate the hinged joints, the transverse walls (in Fig. 1, the transverse walls lg to Im) in the outer segments to be removed at the appropriate location. These embodiments are also encompassed by the invention. Within the scope of the claimed features of the bicycle frame, the invention also encompasses all combinations with frame parts of others, not separately described here.
