Claims (1)
- 電流発光素子と、前記電流発光素子に電流を流す駆動トランジスタと、前記駆動トランジスタのゲートに一方の端子が接続された第1コンデンサと、前記第1コンデンサの他方の端子と前記駆動トランジスタのソースとの間に接続された第2コンデンサと、前記駆動トランジスタのゲートに基準電圧を印加する第1スイッチと、前記第1コンデンサと前記第2コンデンサとの節点に画像信号電圧を供給する第2スイッチと、前記駆動トランジスタのソースに初期化電圧を供給する第3スイッチと、前記第1コンデンサを短絡する第4スイッチとを有する画素回路を複数配列した画像表示装置の駆動方法であって、
1フレーム期間を初期化期間と閾値検出期間と書込み期間と発光期間とに分け、
前記初期化期間において、前記第2スイッチをオフ状態とし前記第1スイッチと前記第3スイッチと前記第4スイッチとをオン状態として前記第2コンデンサに前記基準電圧と前記初期化電圧との差電圧を印加し、
前記閾値検出期間において、前記第2スイッチと前記第3スイッチとをオフ状態とし前記第1スイッチと前記第4スイッチとをオン状態として前記第2コンデンサと前記駆動トランジスタとを含む電流経路を閉じて前記第2コンデンサの電圧を減じ、
前記書込み期間において、前記第3スイッチと前記第4スイッチとをオフ状態とし前記第1スイッチと前記第2スイッチとをオン状態として前記第1コンデンサに前記基準電圧と前記画像信号電圧との差電圧を印加し、
前記発光期間において、前記第1スイッチと前記第2スイッチと前記第3スイッチと前記第4スイッチとをオフ状態とし、前記駆動トランジスタおよび前記電流発光素子に前記画像信号電圧に応じた電流を流す
