Description

圧縮機の吸入マフラ
 本発明は、圧縮機ケース内で圧縮室入口の冷媒通路上流側に介装される消音用の吸入マフラに関する。
 この種の吸入マフラは、一般に圧縮機ケース内で上方から飛散される潤滑及び冷却用のオイルを受ける位置に配設される。
 吸入マフラにオイルが吸い込まれると、マフラに吸入される冷媒ガスの温度を上昇させ、冷媒密度が低下するので、冷凍能力が低下する。
 また、吸い込まれるオイル量が増大すると、吐出側から圧縮機外部のシステム側に持ち出されるオイルが多くなり、圧縮機駆動部の潤滑不足や冷却回路の熱交換器の内側にオイルが付着して熱効率が低下し、性能や信頼性を低下させることとなる。
 そこで、特許文献1では、吸入マフラの壁面に付着したオイルが下方の冷媒吸入口に周り込むことを防止するため、吸入マフラのケースにフェンスを固定している。

 しかしながら、オイル吸い込み防止用にフェンスを設ける構成は、マフラの形状を複雑にし、コスト高につく。
 また、吸入マフラの本体が、2つの分割部材で形成されているが、分割部材相互を溶着して固定しているため、溶着機を必要とし溶着工程を伴うこととも相まって、さらにコスト高についていた。
 本発明は、このような従来の課題に着目してなされたもので、簡易な構造により、低コストで、オイルの吸い込みを良好に抑制できる圧縮機の吸入マフラを提供することを目的とする。
 このため本発明は、
 圧縮機ケーシング内で圧縮室入口の冷媒通路上流側に介装され、前記ケーシング内の上方から散布されるオイルを受ける位置に配設される吸入マフラであって、以下のように構成とした。
 冷媒の導入管及び導出管が吸気マフラの下から上に向かって吸入マフラに接続され、
 前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管の吸入マフラとの接続部の外側に、該接続部より下方に突出して該接続部を囲む突出部が配設されている。
 吸入マフラに上方から飛散するオイルを受けても、冷媒の導入管及び導出管の吸入マフラとの接続部外側が突出部で囲まれ、該突出部の下端からオイルを落下させることができるので、冷媒の導入管及び導出管からのオイルの吸い込みを抑制できる。

 以下、本発明に係る吸入マフラを備えた圧縮機の実施形態を、図面を参照して説明する。
 圧縮機の縦断面図、平面図を示す図1,図2において、ケーシング1内には、モータ2と、該モータ2によって駆動される圧縮機構3とが、支持プレート4を介して支持され、底部にオイルOLを貯留している。
 モータ2は、ステータ21とロータ22とを備えて構成され、ロータ22の中心部を上下方向に延びるロータ軸22aは、ステータ21の下面に固定された軸受部材5に軸受されている。
 ロータ軸22aは、軸受部材5より下方に突出する部分に、回転中心軸に対して偏心した中心軸を持つ偏心部22bを有したクランク軸状に形成される。
 偏心部22bには、その中心軸に沿って油孔22cが形成され、該油孔22cには、下端部が貯留オイルOLに浸された給油管6の上端部が圧入されて固定される。給油管6は、下端が回転中心軸近傍に位置するように屈曲して形成される。
 油孔22cの上部は、偏心部22bより上方まで延長して形成され、油孔22cの上端部は、ロータ軸22aの外周面に沿って螺旋状に形成された油溝22dの下端部と連通する。油溝22dは、上端がロータ軸22aの上端面に連なって開放されるように形成される。
 圧縮機構3は、以下のように構成されている。
 軸受部材5の下端には、シリンダブロック31が固定される。シリンダブロック31に形成されたシリンダボア31aには、ピストン32が嵌挿され、該ピストン32と偏心部22bとが、ピストンピン33を介してコンロッド34により連結される。
 シリンダブロック31の偏心部22bとは反対側の端面には、バルブプレート35を介してシリンダヘッド36が締結される。
 バルブプレート35には、ピストン32の端面に面した部分に、リード弁構造等の吸入弁と吐出弁(図示せず)が装着される。
 シリンダヘッド36とバルブプレート35との間に、以下の構造を有した吸入マフラ7が配設される。
 吸入マフラ7は、図3~図6に拡大して示すように、樹脂製の箱型本体が、下面を開放した上蓋部材71と、上面が開放された下蓋部材72とで構成され、これら上蓋部材71と下蓋部材72とを嵌合して形成される内部空間には、フィルタ(ストレーナ)73が装着される。
 上蓋部材71の側壁には複数個所(図では4箇所)に係合孔71aが開口され、下蓋部材72の側壁には、係合孔71aに対応する箇所に、外側に突出する爪部(突起)72aが形成される。
 また、上蓋部材71は、その横断面積が下部に比較して上部が縮小するように、段差を有して形成される。
 そして、上蓋部材71の下部側壁内面を、下蓋部材72の側壁外面に接合して嵌合し、爪部72aを係合孔71aに係合させて固定する。このとき、上蓋部材71の段差に下蓋部材72の上端面が突き当たり、段差がストッパの機能を有する。
 そして、上記のように上蓋部材71と下蓋部材72を嵌合したときに、上蓋部材71の側壁下端が下蓋部材72の底壁下面より下方に突出するように形成されている。
 下蓋部材72の底壁には、以下のように冷媒の導入管と導出管とが接続される。
 下蓋部材72の底壁の長手方向一方の端部付近に開口した取付孔72bに、ゴム製のブッシュ72cを嵌合して形成される。このブッシュ72cの内周面には、ケーシング1壁を貫通して装着された金属製の冷媒導入管8の端部が圧入して接続される。
 ここで、前記取付孔72bの孔径を、ブッシュ72cの取付部の外径より大きめに隙間を開けて形成しておくことにより、冷媒導入管8を、位置ずれを許容し、変形を抑制しつつ吸入マフラ7に容易に取り付けることができる。
 一方、下蓋部材72底壁の中央部付近には、冷媒入口側とはフィルタ73を挟んで下流側に位置する部分から下方に方形筒状に突出する冷媒導出管72dが一体成形されて接続される。
 したがって、上述したように、上蓋部材71の側壁下端が下蓋部材72の底壁下面より下方(冷媒導入管8及び冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7との接続部より下方)に突出させることで、前記冷媒導入管8及び冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7との接続部外側を囲む突出部72fが配設される。
 冷媒導出管72dは、シリンダヘッド36の上面から下方に向けて形成された凹部36aとバルブプレート35との間に嵌合される。ここで、冷媒導出管72dの外壁から突出して形成された突起72eを、凹部36aの一部を内側に凹ませて形成された係合穴36bに係合させることにより、冷媒導出管72dを位置決めしてシリンダヘッド36に取り付けることができる。
 凹部36aの下端部は、バルブプレート35の吸入弁を介して圧縮室に連通する。
 一方、シリンダヘッド36には、一端部がバルブプレート36の吐出弁を介して圧縮室に連通する冷媒吐出孔36cが形成され、該冷媒吐出孔36cの他端部には、金属製の冷媒吐出管9の一端部が接続され、冷媒吐出管9の他端部は、吐出マフラ10の入口に接続される。
 吐出マフラ10の吐出口には、ケーシング1を貫通して装着された金属製の冷媒導出管11の端部が接続される。
 次に、上記圧縮機の作動を説明する。
 モータ2が通電されると、ロータ22と一体にロータ軸22aが回転し、偏心部22bの回転動作が、コンロッド34の動作を介してピストン32の往復動に変換される。
 これにより、ピストン32が図1で右方向に動作すると圧縮室の容積が増大し、負圧吸引力を生じて吸入弁が開弁され、ケーシング1外(蒸発器から)の冷媒が、冷媒導入管8から吸入マフラ7,凹部36aを通り吸入弁を介して圧縮室内に吸入される。
 冷媒が吸入マフラ7内を流通する間に、フィルタ73によってろ過されると共に、膨張、圧縮による消音機能により、吸気音レベルを低減できる。
 ピストン32が図1で左方向に動作すると圧縮室の容積が減少し、加圧された冷媒が吐出弁から吐出され、冷媒吐出孔36c、冷媒吐出管9、吐出マフラ10を通って冷媒導出管11からケーシング1外のシステム(凝縮器)に導出される。
 一方、偏心部22bの回転によって、傾斜する給油管6及び螺旋状の油溝22dに生じる遠心力(の上方への分力)により、貯留オイルOLが給油管6から吸引され、油孔22c及び油溝22dを経由してロータ軸22aの上端から上方に向かって飛散される。
 上方に飛散されたオイルは、ケーシング1の天井面に当たった後、放射状に周辺部に流動しつつ一部は油滴となって落下し、下方に配設された各構成部材に付着した後、貯留オイルOLに戻される。かかるオイルの循環により、各部の潤滑および冷却が行われる。
 上記のように落下したオイルの一部は、吸入マフラ7の上蓋部材71表面に付着する。
 上蓋部材71に付着したオイルは、上蓋部材71の側壁表面に沿って流下し、側壁の下端に達すると、油滴となって落下する。
 ここで、上蓋部材71の側壁下端(突出部72fの下端)が下蓋部材72の底壁下面より下方(冷媒導入管8及び冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7との接続部より下方)に位置する。換言すれば、下蓋部材72の底壁下面が上蓋部材71の側壁下端より上方に位置するため、上蓋部材71の側壁下端から下蓋部材72の底壁下面へのオイルの上方への流動を効果的に抑制しつつ上蓋部材71の側壁下端から落下させることができる。
 このように、吸入マフラ7に付着したオイルを、冷媒導入管8の吸入マフラ7への接続部を囲む上蓋部材71の側壁下端(突出部72fの下端)から落下させることにより、オイルが吸入マフラ7内に吸い込まれることを抑制できる。
 特に、上述したように、冷媒導入管8を吸入マフラ7に容易に取り付けるため、ブッシュ取付孔とブッシュ72cとの間に隙間を持たせて比較的緩めに嵌合させていること等により、吸入マフラ7内部からの吸入負圧が前記隙間に伝達されている。このため、この付近までオイルが流動した場合には、該隙間から吸入マフラ7内にオイルが吸い込まれやすい状態にある。これに対し、本実施形態では、上蓋部材71の側壁下端からオイルを落下させ、この隙間部分へのオイルの流動を抑制できるため、該隙間を介してのオイルの吸い込みを良好に抑制できる。
 また、上蓋部材71と下蓋部材72との接合面、及び下蓋部材72の冷媒導出管72d外壁面とシリンダヘッド36の凹部36a内壁面との接合面は、比較的密に接合されているため、接合面に伝達される吸入負圧は弱められてはいるものの、これら接合面までオイルが達した場合には、該接合面を介して吸入マフラ7へオイルが吸い込まれる可能性がある。しかし、この場合も、冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7への接続部を囲む上蓋部材71の側壁下端(突出部72fの下端)からオイルを落下させ、上記接合面付近までオイルが流動することを抑制できるため、該接合面を介してのオイルの吸い込みを良好に抑制できる。
 図7は、別の実施形態を示し、下蓋部材72の底壁の周縁部を下方に突出させて冷媒導入管8及び冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7との接続部外側を囲む突出部72gを配設したものである。上蓋部材71の側壁の高さは短く形成し、その下端は下蓋部材72の底壁より上方に位置する。
 本実施形態では、上蓋部材71の側壁を流下するオイルは、下蓋部材72の側壁に移動して該側壁を流下するが、突出部72gの下端まで流下すると、そこより上方への流動を抑制しつつ、該突出部72gの下端からオイルを落下させることができるので、冷媒の入口部や出口部からのオイルの吸い込みを抑制できる。
 なお、本実施形態では上蓋部材71の下端が突出部72gより上方に位置するが、上蓋部材71と下蓋部材72とは密着して嵌合され、かつ、上蓋部材71の側壁内面が下蓋部材72の側壁外面に接合して接合端が下方に面しているため、該接合部からのオイルの吸い込みを抑制できる。
 また、本実施形態では、底壁の周縁部を下方に突出させて突出部72gを配設したが、周縁部より内側で、冷媒導入管8及び冷媒導出管72dの吸入マフラ7との接続部外側を囲む突出部を配設する構成としてもよい。
 なお、以上示した実施形態では、上蓋部材71の側壁下端は、ブッシュ72cの下端より下方に位置させたものを示したが、上蓋部材71の側壁下端よりブッシュ72cの下端が下方に位置させた場合も、吸入マフラへのオイル吸い込み抑制効果は変わりないことが確認された。
 また、係合孔71aと爪部72aとの隙間を介してのオイルの吸い込みも、これら隙間部分が小さいこともあって、良好に抑制されることが確認された。
 以上のように、吸入マフラ7へのオイルの吸い込みを良好に抑制できる結果、冷媒ガスの温度上昇、ひいては冷媒密度低下による冷凍能力の低下を抑制できると共に、圧縮機外部へのオイルの持ち出しによる圧縮機内のオイル不足によって圧縮機駆動部の潤滑不足や駆動回路の冷却不足、ひいては性能や信頼性の低下を回避できる。
 そして、吸入マフラ7は、オイル吸い込み抑制用の特別な部材を必要とせず、また、上蓋部材71と下蓋部材72とを嵌合のみで容易に固定され、溶着機や溶着工程も不要である。このように、低コストで容易に製造できる吸入マフラ7によって、上記のような吸入マフラ7への良好なオイル吸い込み抑制効果を得ることができる。
 なお、本発明に係る吸入マフラが適用される圧縮機は、上記実施形態に示したものに限られず、オイルが上方から飛散され、該飛散されたオイルを受ける位置に吸入マフラが配設されているものであれば、いかなる圧縮機にも適用できる。

Claims (7)

  1.  圧縮機ケーシング内で圧縮室入口の冷媒通路上流側に介装され、前記ケーシング内の上方から散布されるオイルを受ける位置に配設される吸入マフラであって、
     冷媒の導入管及び導出管が吸気マフラの下から上に向かって吸入マフラに接続され、
     前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管の吸入マフラとの接続部の外側に、該接続部より下方に突出して該接続部を囲む突出部が配設されていることを特徴とする圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  2.  吸入マフラは、下面が開放された上蓋部材と、上面が開放され、底壁に前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管が接続された下蓋部材とを備え、前記上蓋部材の側壁内面を、前記下蓋部材の側壁外面に接合して嵌合固定し、
     前記突出部は、前記上蓋部材の側壁下端を、前記下蓋部材の前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管が接続された底壁下面より下方に突出させて配設したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  3.  前記上蓋部材と前記下蓋部材とは、一方の側壁に形成した突起と、他方の側壁に形成した係合孔とを係合させて固定される、請求項2に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  4.  前記下蓋部材の底壁を貫通して形成された取付孔に、ゴム製のブッシュが取り付けられ、前記ケーシングを貫通して配設された金属製の冷媒導入管の端部が、前記ブッシュの内周面に圧入して装着される、請求項2に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  5.  吸入マフラは、下面が開放された上蓋部材と、上面が開放され、底壁に前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管が接続された下蓋部材とを備え、前記上蓋部材の側壁内面を、前記下蓋部材の側壁外面に接合して嵌合固定し、
     前記突出部は、前記下側部材の底壁に、前記冷媒の導入管及び導出管が接続された底壁下面より下方に突出させて配設したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  6.  前記上蓋部材と前記下蓋部材とは、一方の側壁に形成した突起と、他方の側壁に形成した係合孔とを係合させて固定される、請求項5に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
  7.  前記下蓋部材の底壁を貫通して形成された取付孔に、ゴム製のブッシュが取り付けられ、前記ケーシングを貫通して配設された金属製の冷媒導入管の端部が、前記ブッシュの内周面に圧入して装着される、請求項5に記載の圧縮機の吸入マフラ。
