Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de traitement d'argent (10) qui comprend : une unité de sélection de mode (29) pour sélectionner un mode de fonctionnement normal ou un mode de maintenance pour vérifier un dépôt d'argent au niveau d'une unité de réception d'argent (32) et un retrait d'argent à partir de celle-ci, etc. ; et une unité de mémoire (44) pour stocker des historiques de dépôt d'argent en tant que données d'historique de dépôt d'argent (44a), les historiques de dépôt d'argent comprenant le nombre de chaque type d'argent déposé dans l'unité de réception d'argent (32) selon une opération de vérification de dépôt d'argent lorsque le mode de maintenance est sélectionné et qu'une vérification de dépôt d'argent est réalisée. Lorsque le mode de maintenance est sélectionné et qu'une vérification de retrait d'argent est réalisée, si le nombre de n'importe quel type d'argent à retirer à partir de l'unité de réception d'argent (32) selon une opération de vérification de retrait d'argent est supérieur au nombre d'un type d'argent correspondant compris dans les données d'historique de dépôt d'argent (44a) stockées dans l'unité de mémoire (44), l'opération de vérification de retrait d'argent est limitée de façon à alléger les charges du gestionnaire de la trésorerie sur la surveillance d'opérations de vérification de maintenance et à empêcher des retraits d'argent erronés à partir de l'unité de réception d'argent (32).
