Abstract

L'invention concerne un système destiné à fabriquer une fenêtre à vantaux semi-fixes ou une porte à vantaux semi-fixes, comprenant un profilé d'arrêt de vantail (15) et une coiffe terminale d'arrêt de vantail (10) destinée à obturer l'extrémité ouverte du profilé d'arrêt de vantail (15), ledit système permettant d'assurer la tenue de ladite coiffe terminale d'arrêt de vantail même lorsque les tolérances et les dimensions intérieures des espaces creux de la fenêtre à vantaux semi-fixes n'y sont pas favorables. A cet effet, la coiffe terminale d'arrêt de vantail (10) selon l'invention présente une surface de base (18) adaptée au contour de l'extrémité ouverte du profilé d'arrêt de vantail (15), et plusieurs éléments de serrage (11-16) faisant saillie par rapport à la surface de base (18) et pouvant être introduits dans les espaces creux ouverts (9) du profilé d'arrêt de vantail (15), au moins un des éléments de serrage (11-16) étant réalisé sous forme d'un élément à expansion (13) pouvant subir une expansion lors qu'un moyen d'actionnement effectue un mouvement relatif. Le moyen d'actionnement (2) est notamment une vis (20).
