Claims (5)
- Capuchon d'extrémité (1) destiné à fermer une région d'extrémité ouverte d'un profilé en matière plastique extrudé (profilé d'encadrement de battant 12) comportant une pluralité de chambres creuses (20, 21), le capuchon d'extrémité comprenant un corps de base (2) en matière plastique et au moins une pince à ressort (6),- la pince à ressort (6) étant en métal, et- la pince à ressort (6) comportant des moyens, par exemple des dents de griffe (8), destiné, à s'agripper dans une paroi de l'une des chambres creuses (20, 21), caractérisé en ce que- le corps de base (2) comporte un mandrin de fixation (3) et un évidement (5),- le capuchon d'extrémité (1) comprend une pince à ressort (6) en métal, la pince à ressort (6) comportant une zone de base (22) pourvue d'un passage (23) et au moins une patte de serrage (7, 7') pourvue de moyens, par exemple des dents de griffe (8), destinés à s'agripper dans une paroi de l'une des chambres creuses (20, 21),- la pince à ressort (6) est placée sur le corps de base (2) de sorte que le mandrin de fixation (3) du corps de base (2) pénètre dans le passage (23) ménagé dans la zone de base (22) de la pince à ressort (6), et- la zone de base (22) de la pince à ressort (6) s'engage dans l'évidement (5) sans pouvoir tourner.

- Procédé de fermeture d'une zone d'extrémité ouverte d'un profilé en matière plastique extrudé (profilé d'encadrement de battant 12), comportant une pluralité de chambres creuses (20, 21), au moyen d'un capuchon d'extrémité (1) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le capuchon d'extrémité (1) est maintenu par les moyens, par exemple des dents de griffe (8), destinés à s'agripper, sans collage ou vissage supplémentaire, dans les chambres creuses (20, 21).
- Utilisation d'un capuchon d'extrémité selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3 pour fermer la zone d'extrémité ouverte d'un profilé d'encadrement de battant (12) et/ou d'un profilé embouti dans la zone emboutie d'une fenêtre emboutie ou d'une porte emboutie.
