Definitions

  • the invention relates to a profile element for the production of profile frames for window or door leaves. It also relates to a combination of a centering element for glazing for use in the rebate in a profile element according to the invention and such a profile element. It also relates to a sash for a window or a door with a number of profile elements according to the invention, which form a sash frame, and with at least one centering element according to the invention.
  • DE 20 2012 104 587 U1 shows a window or a door with a block profile that bridges the entire rebate base of a profile element and in which glazing is glued to the block profile.
  • a window frame profile element is known, which additional reinforcement strips can be introduced.
  • a glazing rebate insert with pane centering is known.
  • the invention is accordingly based on the object of providing such a profile or profile element and corresponding accessories so that the aforementioned needs of the market can be satisfied in a simple and cost-effective manner.
  • the invention solves this problem by means of a profile element for producing profile frames for window or door sashes with the features of claim 1, by means of a combination of such a profile element and a centering element to be used with such a profile element with the features of claim 7 and by means of a wing for a window or a door with the features of claim 14.
  • a profile element according to the invention is used to produce profile frames for window or door leaves. It comprises a rebate which is used to accommodate glazing, in particular insulating glazing, and which forms a lateral rebate surface and a rebate base.
  • the lateral rebate surface is designed and provided to overlap a lateral edge of the glazing, while the rebate base is designed and provided to overlap an end face of the glazing.
  • the rebate base is divided into three sections, namely a first section which directly adjoins the side rebate surface and in which the rebate base has a continuous sloping course that is inclined towards the side rebate surface; a second section which adjoins the first section, is separated therefrom by a step, and in which the rebate base has a course that is essentially perpendicular to the lateral rebate surface; and a third section which adjoins the second section and in which the rebate base likewise has a course that is essentially perpendicular to the lateral rebate surface, the second section and the third section having different height levels from one another.
  • Such a design of the rebate base is also referred to by the applicant as "multi-fold", the correspondingly configured profile element being suitable for adhesive production in addition to conventional production by means of padding and thus enabling the processor to meet various customer requirements.
  • One and the same profile is always used, which means that the complexity of warehousing at the window or door manufacturer can be noticeably reduced, which means a corresponding cost advantage.
  • the application comprises the combination of a centering element for glazing for use in the rebate in a profile element according to the invention with such a profile element according to the invention, which centering element according to the invention has the following features: an approximately plate-shaped base body with a finite longitudinal extension that transversely has at least two sections for its longitudinal extent, namely a first section in which the base body has at least two erecting webs protruding on one side of the base body essentially perpendicular to a plate plane of the base body with different extensions with respect to the plate plane, adapted to the inclined course of the rebate base, and a second section in which the base body has, at least in some areas, a wedge-shaped cross-section; at least one centering spring protruding in relation to the plane of the plate in the first section, which centering spring is designed in such a way that, when a load is applied in the direction of the plane of the plate, it causes a restoring force in the opposite direction; and at least one tension
  • a sash according to the invention for a window or door can be produced in which the at least one centering element is inserted into the rebate of the sash frame, with preferably at least two centering elements per frame side - with the exception of the lower one Frame side - can be used.
  • Such a sash according to the invention further comprises glazing, preferably insulating glazing, which is inserted in the sash, so that it mechanically interacts with the centering spring with its glass pane or its cover pane facing the side rebate surface and loads it; and an adhesive which is introduced between the profile element and the glazing in the area of the rebate base and which permanently connects at least the glazing and the profile element to one another.
  • block bridges or the like are regularly used, which safely absorb the load on the glazing.
  • said first section of the rebate base essentially serves to arrange the centering element and for drainage.
  • the mentioned second section of the rebate base enables the adhesive to be introduced, while the third section of the rebate base can be used to attach further elements, such as a glass retaining bead.
  • this has a web-like projection in a transition area between the first section and the second section in the area of the step present there, which at the level of the second section a little way into the area of the first Section protrudes so that a corresponding undercut is formed there.
  • the web-like projection or said undercut can serve to hold a centering element according to the invention in a form-fitting manner in a corresponding development of the same, which will be discussed in greater detail below.
  • At least one groove is provided in the third section, which is intended and designed for inserting the aforementioned glass retaining bead.
  • a height level of the rebate base in the first section is below the height level in the second section at every point in the first section.
  • the first section is consequently lowered everywhere compared to the second section, which can benefit the already described arrangement of the centering element in this area or the mentioned drainage function.
  • the height level in the second section is below the height level in the third section. This advantageously ensures that a glazing bead fastened in the third section, regardless of any manufacturing tolerances, tilts slightly in the direction of the second section and thus in the direction of glazing that is regularly located there.
  • an extension of the second section transversely to a profile longitudinal direction is greater than a corresponding extension of the third section.
  • the mentioned extension of the second section is preferably 1.5 times to 3 times as large as the corresponding extension of the third section. Most preferably, the mentioned extension of the second section is approximately twice as large as the corresponding extension of the third section. In this way, there is always sufficient space available for applying the adhesive - regardless of whether the glazing to be attached is single glazing or insulating glazing with two or even three (cover) panes.
  • the lateral rebate surface adjoining the first section of the rebate base has an undercut which in turn is used for a (form-fitting) definition of the centering element in this area can be used.
  • a first further development of the centering element provides that at least one lateral projection for engaging behind the web-like projection in the step area of the rebate base is formed on the erecting web facing the second section when the profile element has a corresponding web-like projection.
  • centering element can provide that a recess or an opening is provided in the base body in the area of the centering spring, into which the centering spring can be moved when there is a correspondingly heavy load. In this way, the load-related area of use of the centering element can be increased.
  • the centering spring is formed in one piece with the base body, preferably made of plastic. This results in a particularly simple and inexpensive embodiment of the centering element.
  • the centering spring has a convex curvature with respect to the plane of the plate, preferably with a profiling or corrugation provided approximately in the region of its apex, most preferably in the form of a number of transverse notches.
  • the centering spring can interact with the glazing in virtually any position.
  • the mentioned curvature of the centering spring ensures that the glazing can easily slide open when it is inserted into a finished profile frame without the glazing, in particular the edge seal, being damaged.
  • Said profiling or corrugation of the centering spring transversely to its extension can ensure that glazing that is in contact with the centering spring is secured against sliding down, for example during transport.
  • the erecting web carrying the tensioning spring has a recess or an opening into which the tensioning spring is inserted when it is correspondingly stronger Load can be moved into it.
  • said recess or said opening can spatially coincide with the recess or the opening in the area of the centering spring, if such an opening / such a recess is provided.
  • the tensioning spring is formed in one piece with the base body or with the erecting web that carries the tensioning spring.
  • the tensioning spring is preferably formed from plastic together with the base body or the entire centering element in order to obtain an embodiment that is as simple as possible to produce and inexpensive.
  • the tensioning spring can have a curvature which is directed in the direction of the erecting web carrying the tensioning spring. This has proven to be particularly favorable for the intended interaction with a profile element in the area of its lateral rebate surface.
  • the centering element provides that ribs spaced apart from one another are arranged on an underside of the base body, which extend from the first section of the base body to or even into the second section and there are wedge-shaped in cross section towards their free end rejuvenate.
  • the named ribs also taper in a wedge shape in a plane perpendicular thereto, wherein the named ribs can, in the extreme case, taper to a point, as it were.
  • Such a configuration has proven to be particularly useful so that the named ribs do not pose a noticeable obstacle to an adhesive introduced at the side.
  • a distance between adjacent ribs in the second section is partially filled at least for a pair of ribs with a material section, which material section ends at a distance from the free end of the ribs. It can furthermore be provided that the material section is also less than in a direction transverse to a longitudinal extension of the ribs having a corresponding dimension of the ribs. Said material section ensures a more stable configuration of the centering element in the area of the ribs, but in the last variant also does not hinder the flow of adhesive because the adhesive can flow through between the ribs below the stated material section.
  • the base body in the further development of the centering element, provision can also be made for the base body to have a longitudinal bend in its first section on an upper side facing away from the erecting webs, which bend defines two separate flat surface areas.
  • the basically plate-shaped base body does not have to be flat on one surface, but can have separate, flat surface functional areas on the above-mentioned upper side - for example to enable glazing to slide open or to avoid damage to it.
  • the tensioning spring is designed on its front side facing away from the relevant mounting web for a positive engagement in the undercut in the area of the lateral rebate surface of the profile element, if the profile element has such an undercut. This improves the fixation of the centering element within the profile element.
  • the centering element when there is contact between the tension spring and the lateral rebate surface or between the support web and the profile step, the centering element rests in or on the second section of the rebate base in the area of its second section. This can ensure improved load dissipation via the centering element into the profile element.
  • centering element can provide that longitudinal slots are provided in the centering element in the area of the second section and / or in the area of the first section, preferably in an area between centering springs in the case of a configuration with several centering springs.
  • longitudinal slots bring about a certain saving in material, which can have an impact on costs. They also enable a passage of adhesive, which can promote the secure fixation of the centering element within a profile element.
  • centering element provides that in addition to the tensioning spring, preferably adjacent to it, an additional fixed spacing projection is provided in order to limit a possible change in dimensions of the centering element when the tensioning spring is loaded. Said fixed spacing projection therefore specifies a minimum dimension of the centering element, which cannot be fallen below, even if the tension spring is excessively loaded and correspondingly deformed. This can ensure increased reliability of use of the centering element.
  • the glazing is insulating glazing, the thickness of which is greater than a corresponding dimension of the centering element, so that a cover pane of the insulating glazing is located directly adjacent to the rebate base in its second section Cover disk is glued or glued directly to the rebate base.
  • the centering element is only located in the area or below one of the cover panes of the insulating glazing, while no centering element or part thereof is arranged between the other cover pane and the rebate base.
  • An adhesive that touches this other cover pane can thus form a direct adhesive connection with the rebate base of the profile element, which can be desirable for reasons of connection security.
  • adhesive has penetrated into an area between the centering element and the rebate base, preferably in its second section or even into the first section of the rebate base.
  • a penetration can take place between the above-mentioned ribs of the centering element or through the mentioned longitudinal slots, without the invention being restricted thereto.
  • Adhesive that has penetrated in this way can further increase the stability of the adhesive connection between the profile element, glazing and centering element.
  • a glass retaining strip can be inserted into the groove in the third section of the rebate base in order to laterally close off the connection area between glazing and rebate.
  • Figure 1 shows in cross section a profile element according to the invention for the production of profile frames for window or door sashes, which profile element is provided in its entirety with the reference number 1. • the fold 2 comprises a lateral fold surface at reference number 2a and a fold base at reference number 2b.
  • the lateral rebate surface 2a is designed and provided to overlap a side edge of the glazing (not shown), while the rebate base 2b is designed and provided to overlap an end face of the glazing (not shown).
  • the rabbet base 2b is divided into three sections, which is symbolized by vertical dash-dotted lines.
  • first section I which directly adjoins the lateral rebate surface 2a
  • the rebate base 2b has an inclined course that is inclined towards the lateral rebate surface 2a.
  • the rebate base 2b has a course that is essentially perpendicular to the lateral rebate surface 2a.
  • the rebate base 2b has a course that is likewise essentially perpendicular to the lateral rebate surface 2a. How to get the Figure 1 still removed, the second section II and the third section III have different height levels from one another, the height level difference being denoted by the reference symbol h.
  • profile element 1 is designed in the manner of a hollow-chamber profile element known per se, the further details of which will only be discussed insofar as they are of importance for the invention on which the application is based.
  • a web-like projection 2d is present in the area of the step 2c, which at the level of the second section (upper dash-dotted line in section I) a little way into the area of the first section I. protrudes, so that an undercut is formed in the area of the first section I below the projection 2d at reference number 2e.
