Abstract

 モータジェネレータの回生エネルギの効率のよい回収や効果的な回生制動制御とともに、快適な操作を実現することのできる回生制御を提供することを目的としている。車両の走行により発生する回生エネルギを回収するのに伴って当該車両を減速させる回生制動力を発生するモータジェネレータの回生制御装置であって、前記車両の走行状態を検出する走行状態検出部と、前記車両の減速度を取得する減速度取得部と、前記走行状態検出部による前記車両の減速操作の検出時に前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を設定する制動力設定部と、前記減速度取得部の取得した前記減速度に基づいて前記制動力設定部により設定された前記回生制動力を調整して抑制する制動力調整部と、を備える。

Description

回生制御装置および回生制御方法並びにハイブリッド車両
 本発明は、回生制御装置および回生制御方法並びにハイブリッド車両に関し、詳しくは、油圧制動力と共に回生制動力を併用する場合に操作意図に応じた制動力を発生させることのできるものに関する。
 モータジェネレータは、駆動軸に連結されて電動機(electric motor)として機能する一方、その駆動軸に伴って回転軸が回転して発電機(electrical generator)として機能することにより、発電する電気エネルギをバッテリ(蓄電装置)に充電するなどして回生エネルギとして回収することができる。
 この回生エネルギは、モータジェネレータの回転軸を回転させて発電する電気エネルギとして回収するため、その回転軸を回転させるための負荷を回生制動力として利用することができ、そのモータジェネレータを電動機として機能させて動力源として搭載する各種装置に回生制御装置を搭載することにより活用することが行われている。
 このモータジェネレータは、単独で装置に搭載される場合だけでなく、ガソリンなどの燃焼エネルギを利用する内燃機関、所謂、エンジン(以下では、単にエンジンともいう)と共にモータジェネレータとして機能させて動力源とするハイブリット車両にも搭載することが実用化されている。このハイブリット車両では、油圧制御装置により発生させる摩擦力に応じた油圧制動力と共にそのモータジェネレータを回生制御装置により発電機として機能させることによる回生制動力を併用して走行速度を減速することが行われている(例えば、特許文献1)。
 なお、モータジェネレータは、電動機として機能する場合には、回転数が少ない低速駆動領域で最大トルクを発生する出力特性を有しており、回転数の多い高速駆動領域では相対的に小さなトルクとなっている。また、回生制動力でも同様であり、図10に示すように、車両に搭載する場合の回生制動力制御としては、車両の速やかに停止できる速度、例えば、所謂、クリープ現象により走行する程度の速度範囲では、回生制動力をゼロとしている。

 このような回生制御装置にあっては、車両などの移動装置にモータジェネレータを搭載する場合の減速時には、そのモータジェネレータを発電機として機能させて効率よく電気エネルギを回収するとともに、回生制動力を効果的に発揮させるのが理想である。一方、その回生制御装置としては、移動装置の乗り心地などの操作感覚を快適にする制動制御を実現する必要がある。
 そこで、本発明は、モータジェネレータの回生エネルギの効率のよい回収や効果的な回生制動制御とともに、快適な操作を実現することのできる回生制御を提供することを目的としている。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の一態様は、車両の走行により発生する回生エネルギを回収するのに伴って当該車両を減速させる回生制動力を発生するモータジェネレータの回生制御装置であって、前記車両の走行状態を検出する走行状態検出部と、該走行状態検出部の検出情報から前記車両の減速度を取得する減速度取得部と、前記走行状態検出部による前記車両の減速操作の検出時に前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を設定する制動力設定部と、前記減速度取得部の取得した前記減速度に基づいて前記制動力設定部により設定された前記回生制動力を調整して抑制する制動力調整部と、を備えることを特徴とするものである。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の一態様は、車両の走行により発生する回生エネルギを回収するのに伴って当該車両を減速させる回生制動力を発生するモータジェネレータの回生制御方法であって、前記車両の減速操作を検出したときに、設定される前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を前記車両の減速度に基づいて調整して抑制することを特徴としている。
 本発明の態様としては、上記の課題解決手段を基本構成とするのに加えて、次の構成を備えてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第1の他の態様としては、前記制動力設定部は、前記走行状態検出部による前記車両の前記減速操作の検出後には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を一定に設定しており、前記制動力調整部は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度が大きい場合には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力の抑制を小さくあるいは当該抑制を解除する一方、該減速度が小さい場合には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力の抑制を大きくするようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第1の他の態様としては、前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記減速度が大きい場合には前記抑制を小さくあるいは当該抑制を解除する一方、該減速度が小さい場合には前記抑制を大きくするようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第2の他の態様としては、前記制動力調整部は、予め設定されている補正係数を前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力に乗算して当該回生制動力を抑制する方向に補正するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第2の他の態様としては、前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、予め設定されている補正係数を乗算して抑制する方向に補正するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第3の他の態様としては、前記補正係数は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度の大きさに応じて減少するように設定されていてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第3の他の態様としては、前記補正係数は、前記減速度の大きさに応じて減少するように設定されているようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第4の他の態様としては、前記補正係数は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度の大きさが予め設定されている第1設定値以上では抑制のない値であるようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第4の他の態様としては、前記補正係数は、前記減速度の大きさが予め設定されている第1設定値以上では抑制のない値であるようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第5の他の態様としては、前記制動力調整部は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度が予め設定されている第2設定値よりも小さい場合には、予め設定されている修正係数を乗算して前記回生制動力の補正値をさらに抑制する方向に修正するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第5の他の態様としては、前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記減速度が予め設定されている第2設定値よりも小さい場合には、予め設定されている修正係数を乗算して前記補正係数による補正値をさらに抑制する方向に修正するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第6の他の態様としては、前記修正係数は、前記走行状態検出部により検出する車両速度に応じて減少するように設定されていてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第6の他の態様としては、前記修正係数は、前記車両の走行速度に応じて減少するように設定されているようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第7の他の態様としては、前記制動力調整部は、前記走行状態検出部により検出する車両速度が停止直前の速度に達して前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力が解除されるまで該回生制動力を滑らかに連続するように抑制するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御方法の発明の第7の他の態様としては、前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記車両の走行速度が停止直前の速度に達して解除されるまで滑らかに連続するように抑制するようにしてもよい。
 上記課題を解決する回生制御装置の発明の第8の他の態様としては、ブレーキペダルの踏力に応じて前記車両の制動力を発生する油圧制動装置とともに、上記の回生制御装置をハイブリッド車両に搭載してもよい。例えば、燃焼エネルギで回転軸を回転させる内燃機関と、電気エネルギで回転軸を回転させる2組の第1、第2モータジェネレータと、車両を走行させる駆動力を伝達する駆動軸と、前記第1、第2モータジェネレータのそれぞれの前記回転軸、前記内燃機関の前記回転軸および前記駆動軸を連結する遊星歯車機構と、を備えて、前記第1、第2モータジェネレータは、前記車両を走行させる駆動力を発生して前記回転軸を回転させる機能と、前記車両の走行時に回生エネルギを回収する機能とのいずれか一方あるいは双方の機能を果たすハイブリッド車両に、前記油圧制動装置とともに、上記の回生制御装置を搭載してもよい。
 このように本発明の一態様によれば、車両が減速するときには、設定する最大回生制動力を減速度に応じて抑制することによりそのまま車両に働くことを回避して、減速度に応じて抑制した回生制動力により車両を減速することができる。このため、減速操作時に設定される最大回生制動力により継続して車両が減速されることを避けることができるとともに、適切な回生制動力に応じてモータジェネレータで発生する回生エネルギを効率よく回収することができる。したがって、モータジェネレータに効果的な回生制動力を発生させることができるとともに、そのモータジェネレータで効率よく回生エネルギを回収することができ、同時に、回生制動力が効き過ぎるのを回避して快適に制動して車両を停止することができる。

 以下、図面を参照して、本発明の実施形態について詳細に説明する。図1~図10は本発明に係る回生制御装置を搭載するハイブリット車両の一実施形態を示す図である。
 図1において、ハイブリット車両は、駆動制御装置1を搭載して後進時における内燃機関(エンジン)2の起動を含む各種駆動制御を実行して、駆動輪6等を転動させて走行する。まず、ハイブリット車両は、駆動系として、燃料の燃焼により出力軸3を回転駆動させる駆動力を発生するエンジン2と、電動機として電気エネルギにより回転軸13、16を回転駆動させる駆動力を発生するとともに発電機として稼働してそのロータ14、17の回転により電気エネルギを発生する第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5と、エンジン2の出力軸3、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5のロータ14、17と一体回転する回転軸(不図示)、および、ハイブリッド車の駆動輪6に接続される駆動軸7のそれぞれに連結される第1、第2遊星歯車機構8、9と、を備えており、駆動制御装置1は、これらの各種駆動系の駆動を制御する。
 エンジン2は、後述するように、アクセル開度(不図示のアクセルペダルの踏み込み量)に対応して吸入する空気量を調整するスロットルバルブ等の空気量調整部10と、吸入する空気量に対応する燃料を供給する燃料噴射弁等の燃料供給部11と、燃料に着火する点火装置等の着火部12とを備えている。駆動制御装置1は、このエンジン2の空気量調整部10、燃料供給部11および着火部12を制御して、燃料の燃焼状態を調整してその燃料の燃焼により駆動力を発生する。
 第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5は、それぞれハウジング側に固定されているステータ15、18を外装されている回転軸13、16とロータ14、17がその内部で一体回転するようになっており、それぞれ第1、第2インバータ19、20を介してステータ15、18がバッテリ(蓄電装置)21に接続されている。駆動制御装置1は、第1、第2インバータ19、20を介してステータ15、18にバッテリ21から供給する電気量を制御して、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5が電動機として稼働する際に発生する駆動力を調整する。また、この駆動制御装置1は、その第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の回転軸13、16が連れ回り回転して発電機として稼働する際に発生する制動力を制御してバッテリ21に充電する電気量を調整する。
 第1、第2遊星歯車機構8、9は、それぞれサンギヤ22、26、プラネタリギヤ23、27およびリングギヤ25、29を備えており、サンギヤ22、26にはプラネタリキャリア24、28により支持されているプラネタリギヤ23、27が噛み合って、このプラネタリギヤ23、27にはリングギヤ25、29が噛み合って互いに駆動力を伝達可能に連結されている。
 この第1遊星歯車機構8のサンギヤ22には、第1モータジェネレータ4の回転軸13が連結されており、第2遊星歯車機構9のリングギヤ29には、第2モータジェネレータ5の回転軸16が連結されている。また、第1遊星歯車機構8のプラネタリキャリア24および第2遊星歯車機構9のサンギヤ26とは、結合されてエンジン2の出力軸3に共通に連結されている。第1遊星歯車機構8のリングギヤ25および第2遊星歯車機構9のプラネタリキャリア28とは、結合されて歯車やチェーン等の出力伝達機構31を介して駆動軸7に駆動力を出力する出力ギヤ30に連結されている。これにより、ハイブリッド車両の駆動系においては、エンジン2、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5および駆動軸7の間で駆動力の授受を行うことができるようになっている。
 また、この第1、第2遊星歯車機構8、9は、各回転要素の回転中心線が同一軸上に配置されており、第1遊星歯車機構8とエンジン2との間に第1モータジェネレータ4を配置するとともに、第2遊星歯車機構9のエンジン2から離れる側に第2モータジェネレータ5を配置されている。この第2モータジェネレータ5は、単独出力のみでハイブリッド車を走行させることができる性能を備えている。
 そして、駆動制御装置1は、エンジン2の駆動を制御する空気量調整部10、燃料供給部11および着火部12と、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の駆動を制御するようにステータ15、18に接続されているインバータ19、20とを駆動制御部32に接続して、各種情報を検出収集しつつ車両の走行状態などを制御するようになっている。ここで、駆動制御部32は、詳細な説明は割愛するが、中央演算処理装置やメモリ等により構成されており、予め格納されているプログラムや設定値に従って検出取得情報などを一時記憶しつつ演算処理等を行って後述する各種処理を実行する。
 駆動制御部32は、アクセルペダルの踏み込み量であるアクセル開度tvoを検出するアクセル開度検出部33と、ハイブリッド車両の車両速度(車速)Vsを検出する車両速度検出部34と、エンジン2のエンジン回転数Neを検出するエンジン回転数検出部35と、バッテリ21の充電残量SOC(充電状態)を検出するバッテリ充電状態検出部(蓄電量検出部)36と、を備えている。この駆動制御部32は、これらの各種検出取得情報に基づいて目標駆動力設定部37、目標駆動パワー設定部38、目標充放電パワー設定部39、目標エンジンパワー算出部40、エンジン制御部41およびモータジェネレータ制御部42として機能するようになっている。
 目標駆動力設定部37としては、アクセル開度検出部33により検出されたアクセル開度tvoと、車両速度検出部34により検出された車両速度Vsと、に応じてハイブリッド車両を駆動するための目標駆動力Fdrvを、アクセル開度tvoを基準に車両速度Vsをパラメータとする不図示の検索マップにより検索して決定する。
 目標駆動パワー設定部38としては、アクセル開度検出部33により検出されたアクセル開度tvoと、車両速度検出部34により検出された車両速度Vsと、に基づいて目標駆動パワーPdrvを設定する。ここでは、目標駆動力Fdrvと車両速度Vsとを乗算して、目標駆動パワーPdrvを設定する。
 目標充放電パワー設定部39としては、少なくともバッテリ充電状態検出部36により検出されたバッテリ21の充電状態SOCに基づいて目標充放電パワーPbatを設定する。ここで、バッテリ充電状態SOCと車両速度Vsに応じて目標充放電パワーPbatを、バッテリ充電残量SOCを基準に車両速度Vsをパラメータとする不図示の検索マップにより検索して設定する。
 目標エンジンパワー算出部40としては、目標駆動パワー設定部38により設定された目標駆動パワーPdrvと、目標充放電パワー設定部39により設定された目標充放電パワーPbatと、から目標エンジンパワーPegを算出する。ここでは、目標駆動パワーPdrvから目標充放電パワーPbatを減算することにより、目標エンジンパワーPegを得る。
 エンジン制御部41としては、目標エンジンパワーPegに基づいて決定されるエンジン2の運転効率が良い動作点(エンジン回転数とエンジントルクとをパラメータとする不図示のエンジン動作点検索マップで検索して決定する)で、エンジン2が動作するように、空気量調整部10と燃料供給部11と着火部12との駆動状態を制御する。
 モータジェネレータ制御部42としては、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の合計電力が目標充放電パワーPbatとなるように、第1、第2インバータ19、20の駆動状態を制御する。
 この構成により、駆動制御部32は、目標エンジンパワーPegに基づいてエンジン2の運転効率が良い動作点(エンジン回転数とエンジントルク)を決定し、エンジン2がこの動作点で動作するように、エンジン制御部41により空気量調整部10、燃料供給部11および着火部12を駆動制御する。また、駆動制御部32は、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の合計電力が目標充放電パワーPbatとなるようにモータジェネレータ制御部42によりインバータ19、20を駆動制御することにより、エンジン2、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の各トルクを制御する。このとき、エンジン2、第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5の発生する駆動力は、第1、第2遊星歯車機構8、9を介して駆動軸7から駆動輪6に伝達されてハイブリッド車両が走行する。
 ところで、本実施形態のハイブリット車両は、ブレーキペダルと油圧ブレーキ装置とが繋がっている、所謂、インラインシステムを搭載している。このインラインシステムでは、運転者が操作するブレーキペダルの踏み込み量(踏み力)に応じてマスタシリンダで加圧する油圧により、ホイールシリンダを介してブレーキ用ディスクなどにブレーキパッドを圧接させて発生させる摩擦力(油圧制動力)によって、走行する車両に制動を掛けるようになっている。なお、油圧制動には、インラインシステムの他に、ブレーキバイワイヤシステム(例えば、特開平11-285102号公報)があるが、ブレーキペダルの踏み込み量をストロークセンサ等により検出してその検出情報に基づいて蓄圧装置等を駆動することでホイールシリンダを介して圧力制動力を発生させる。つまり、ブレーキバイワイヤシステムでは、ブレーキペダルと油圧ブレーキ装置とが繋がっていないために、運転者の意図に基づいて走行車両の制動制御を実行するように構成可能であるが、コスト高になるため、採用し難い。
 また、このハイブリット車両では、油圧制動力と共に、減速時などに第1、第2モータジェネレータ4、5を発電機として機能させて回生エネルギを回収する際の回生制動力を併用(加算)して走行車両に制動を掛けることが行われている。その一方で、ハイブリット車両では、燃費とエネルギ効率の向上(回生エネルギの効率のよい回収)を目指して回生制動力を機能させたままにすると、停止直前にも回生制動力が効いたままになって急停止して乗り心地が悪化するので、停止直前には回生制動力を解除するようになっている。すなわち、ハイブリット車両では、エネルギの回収と乗り心地という相反する要望を満足する必要がある。
 そこで、駆動制御部32は、アクセル開度検出部33、車両速度検出部34、エンジン回転数検出部35およびバッテリ充電状態検出部36に加えて、不図示のブレーキペダルが踏まれたこと(減速を要求する操作)を検出するブレーキ検出部47を備えており、この駆動制御部32は、これらの各種検出取得情報に基づいて制動力設定部43および制動力制御部44としても機能するようになっている。なお、本実施形態では、ブレーキペダルの操作を減速要求操作として利用するが、アクセルペダルを放したことを減速要求操作として判断(検出)して利用するようにしてもよい。
 制動力設定部43としては、図2に示すように、ブレーキペダルの遊び分の踏み代Bpを超える踏み込み量Bsのブレーキストロークをブレーキ検出部47が検出したときには、図10に示す高速走行時の回生制動力(値)自体や、理想的にはそれよりも大きめの値となる一定値を最大回生制動力として設定するようになっている。制動力制御部44は、その制動力設定部43の設定する最大回生制動力に基づいてモータジェネレータ4、5の発電機としての駆動も制御するようになっている。すなわち、ブレーキ検出部47が車両速度検出部34と共に走行状態検出部を構成している。なお、この制動力設定部43は、後述するようにブレーキペダルが踏まれることなく減速する、所謂、コースト走行(惰力走行)をする場合にも電気エネルギを回収する回生制御を行なうために、それに適した一定の惰力回生制動力を設定するようになっており、制動力制御部44は、その制動力設定部43の設定する惰力回生制動力に基づいてモータジェネレータ4、5の発電機としての駆動も制御するようになっている。また、上記の最大回生制動力としては、車両速度検出部34により検出する車両速度Vsに応じた最適となる回生制動力を設定するようにしてもよい。
 制動力制御部44は、運転者がブレーキペダルを踏み込んだことをブレーキ検出部47が検出したときに、車両速度検出部34が検出する車両速度Vsやこの車両速度Vsから算出する単位時間当たりの変化量である減速度(所謂、負の加速度)に基づいて、制動力設定部43の設定した最大回生制動力を再設定(調整)して抑制して回生制動を実行するようになっている。すなわち、制動力制御部44は、車両速度検出部34と共に減速度取得部をも構成して、また、制動力調整部をも構成している。なお、この制動力制御部44は、詳細な説明は割愛するが、ブレーキ検出部47が運転者によるブレークペダルの踏み込みを検出しないときでも、車両の減速を検出したとき(車両速度Vsの単位時間当たりの変化量が減速度となる車両走行状態のとき)には制動力設定部43の設定する惰力回生制動力で回生制動を実行するようになっている。なお、車両の減速度の取得は、演算処理だけでなく、センサにより直接取得するようにしてもよいことは言うまでもない。
 具体的な最大回生制動力の抑制制御としては、制動力制御部44は、予め設定されている図3に示す補正係数A検索マップ(車両の減速度に応じた補正係数グラフ)から車両の減速度に応じた補正係数Aを検索して、制動力設定部43の設定した最大回生制動力に乗算し補正回生制動力に置き換えることにより走行車両に効かせる回生制動力を抑制する。また、この制動力制御部44は、予め設定されている図4に示す修正係数B検索マップ(車両速度Vsに応じた修正係数グラフ)から車両速度Vsに応じた修正係数Bを検索して、補正係数Aにより補正した補正回生制動力に乗算して修正回生制動力に置き換えることにより走行車両に効かせる回生制動力をさらに抑制する。
 ここで、補正係数A検索マップは、例えば、図3に示すように、重力加速度Gを基準にして、一般的には急制動(急ブレーキ)は0.8~1.0Gであり、その半分以下程度で減速操作が通常行われることから、例えば、0.2~0.25G程度の範囲を中央として振り分けるように想定して作成する。詳細には、この補正係数A検索マップは、0.5G(第1設定値)以上の場合には補正することがないように補正係数a1=1が設定される一方、0.2G以下の場合にはその回生制動力をこの抑制制御では解除しないように小さな補正係数a2が一定値となるように設定されている。その0.5Gの減速度g1から0.2Gの減速度g2の間では、直線的に漸減するように補正係数aが設定されている。また、修正係数B検索マップは、図4に示すように、例えば、予め設定されている高速走行時の車両速度v1(第2設定値)を超える場合には修正することがないように修正係数b1=1が設定されている。その車両速度v1以下の修正係数bは、停止直前の車両速度v2まで直線的に斬減されてその車両速度v2以下ではその回生制動力をこの抑制制御では解除しないように小さな修正係数b2が一定値となるように設定されている。要するに、制動力制御部44は、減速する走行車両の減速度Gや車両速度Vsが大きい場合には、制動力設定部43に設定した最大回生制動力を抑制せずに、あるいは、抑制するにしても小さな抑制に留めて回生制動力を有効利用する。一方、制動力制御部44は、その減速度Gが小さくなるに従って制動力設定部43に設定した最大回生制動力をその車両が停止する直前の速度に達するまで滑らかに連続するように大きく抑制して、回生制動力を利用するようになっている。
 そして、制動力制御部44は、図5に示すフローチャートで説明する演算制御処理(制御方法)を実行して、制動力設定部43に設定した最大回生制動力を抑制するようになっている。以下、その最大回生制動力を抑制しての回生制動を主に説明する。
 詳細には、制動力制御部44は、図5に示すように、まず、ステップS101では車両速度検出部34がモータジェネレータ4、5の回転速度(駆動軸7の回転速度でもよく、実測・推定いずれでもよい)から演算処理して車両速度Vsを取得(検出)する。次いで、ステップS102では、制動力制御部44はブレーキ検出部47の不図示のスイッチなどによる検出信号(情報)の受け取りの有無により、走行する車両を運転者(ドライバ)が制動することを要求しているか否かを確認する。このステップS102で制動要求が確認された場合にはステップS103に進む一方、制動要求が確認されない場合にはステップS111に進む。
 ステップS102で制動要求が確認されなかった場合のステップS111では、制動力制御部44は速度検出部34が検出する車両速度Vsの単位時間当たりの変化量を算出して減速状態であるか否かを確認する。
 このステップS111で車両が減速走行状態でないことが確認された場合にはステップS112に進む。このステップS112では、制動力制御部44は回生制動の制御を開始することなく、または、開始している回生制動制御を終了した後にステップS101に戻って同様の処理を繰り返す。
 また、ステップS111で車両が減速走行するコースト走行状態(惰力走行状態)であることが確認された場合には、ステップS113に進む。このステップS113では、制動力設定部43が惰力走行に適した惰力回生制動力を設定して、制動力制御部44がその惰力回生制動力を発生するようにモータジェネレータ4、5の駆動制御を開始継続しつつステップS101に戻って同様の処理を繰り返す。このステップS111では、ブレーキ検出部47が検出するブレーキペダル操作によるスイッチはOFFであるが、速度検出部34が検出する車両速度Vsの単位時間当たりの変化量が減速走行である場合に、コースト走行状態と判断して惰力回生制動力を発生する回生制御を実行するが、これに限らず、アクセル開度検出部33の検出するアクセルペダルの踏み込み量がなくアクセル開度tvoがゼロであることの確認を合わせて行って判断するようにしてもよい。
 一方、ステップS102で制動要求が確認された場合のステップS103では、制動力設定部43が既定の最大回生制動力を設定してステップS104に進む。このステップS104では、制動力制御部44は速度検出部34が検出する車両速度Vsの単位時間当たりの変化量を演算して減速度Gを算出取得してステップS105に進む。このステップS105では、制動力制御部44は取得した減速度Gに応じた補正係数Aを図3に示す検索マップから検索(算出)取得してステップS106に進む。このステップS106では、その減速度Gが小さな油圧制動力が必要な小さな減速度G、例えば、0.2G(第1設定値)を閾値としてそれ以下であるか否かを確認する。このステップS106で減速度Gがその閾値以下でないことが確認された場合にはステップS107に進む一方、減速度Gが閾値以下であることが確認された場合にはステップS108に進む。
 ステップS106で減速度Gが閾値以下でないことが確認された場合のステップS107では、制動力制御部44は修正係数BとしてB=1を設定してステップS109に進む一方、その減速度Gが閾値以下であることが確認された場合のステップS108では、制動力制御部44は取得した車両の走行速度Vsに応じた修正係数Bを図4に示す検索マップから検索(算出)取得してステップS109に進む。
 このステップS109では、制動力制御部44は、制動力設定部43がステップS103で設定した最大回生制動力に、検索取得した補正係数Aと修正係数Bを乗算して実行回生制動力(補正回生制動力・修正回生制動力)を取得して、その実行回生制動力を発生するようにモータジェネレータ4、5の駆動制御を開始継続しつつステップS101に戻って同様の処理を繰り返す。
 これにより、制動力制御部44は、運転者がブレーキペダルを踏み込んで制動要求操作をしたときに、制動力設定部43の設定した最大回生制動力に、車両の減速度Gに応じた補正係数A(B=1)を乗算して、またはその補正係数Aと修正係数Bを乗算して置き換える簡易な処理を実行するだけで、回生制動制御を複雑化することなく、走行車両に効かせる回生制動力を必要に応じて徐々に抑制することができる。
 特に、停止直前の極小さな走行速度Vsの場合には、減速度Gも小さくなるので、制動力設定部43に設定し直す実行回生制動力も合わせて(抑制を大きくして)小さくすることができ、設定されていた大きな最大回生制動力が停止直前に突然解除されて車両が慣性に応じた速度で走行してしまうことを未然に回避しつつ、不必要に回生制動力を効かせることなく運転者の制動操作に委ねることができる。
 例えば、図6および図7を用いて説明する。図6は、車両が高速走行H、中速走行M、低速走行Lする状況で、停止するためにブレーキペダルが踏み込まれてから、停止直前Tbに回生制動力を解除して停止Tsするまでの時間経過を相対的に一致させて、上側には走行速度の変化を図示する一方、下側には制動力の変化を図示して対応させている。
 まず、図6に示すように、高速走行する車両Hでは、大減速(急ブレーキ)する必要があって強くブレーキペダルを踏み込む。このために、高速車両Hは、可能な限りの最大の油圧制動力(破線で図示、以下同じ)と共に最大回生制動力(一転鎖線で図示、以下同じ)を効かせて減速させ、そのまま停止直前Tbでその最大回生制動力が解除された(抜けた)後にも最大油圧制動力により車両は急停止する。
 また、中速走行する車両Mでは、急ブレーキにはならないほどの中減速する必要があって中程度の力でブレーキペダルを踏み込む。このために、中速車両Mは、中程度の油圧制動力と共に中程度の最大回生制動力を効かせることによる減速制御を開始する。このときに、車両の減速度Gが図3における重力加速度g1の0.5Gを下回ると、最大回生制動力が補正係数Aを乗算された実行回生制動力(補正回生制動力)に置き換えられて停止直前Tbまで漸次抑制されて低減される。これにより、運転者は、上側グラフに実線で示す減速に倣う停止要求に見合う制動効果を感じることができないために、無意識のうちにブレーキペダルを徐々に強く踏み込んで要求する減速に一致させる。その運転者は、停止直前Tbにその実行回生制動力が解除された後には、その多少強く踏み込んだ油圧制動力により車両をそのまま停止させることができる。
 また、低速走行する車両Lでは、惰力走行よりも早く停止させる程度の小減速する必要があって小さな力でブレーキペダルを踏み込む。このために、低速車両Lは、小程度の油圧制動力と共に小さな最大回生制動力を効かせることによる減速制御を開始する。このときに、車両の走行速度Vsが予め設定されている車両速度v1を下回ると、その最大回生制動力が補正係数Aと修正係数Bを乗算された実行回生制動力(修正回生制動力)に置き換えられて停止直前Tbまで漸次抑制されて低減される。これにより、運転者は、上側グラフに実線で示す減速に倣う停止要求に伴う制動効果を感じることができないために、無意識のうちにブレーキペダルを徐々に強く踏み込んで要求する減速に一致させる。その運転者は、停止直前Tbにその実行回生制動力が解除された後には、その多少強く踏み込んだ油圧制動力により車両をそのまま停止させることができる。
 もう少し、補足すると、実際の走行では、車両の速度低下率は一定ではなく、速度が思っていた以上に低下すると、急停止しないようにして乗り心地を良くするためにブレーキを緩めるような制動操作を行う場合もあり、反対の場合も同様に、速度が思っていたほど低下しない場合には、希望する位置で停止させることができずに急停止させる必要が生じてしまって乗り心地を悪くしないためにブレーキを踏む力を強めるような制動操作を行う場合もある。このような車両の減速速度の調整は、回生制動力の抑制程度が極めて小さいので、運転者は意識することなく自分で想像する安定的な減速状態を維持するために、生じているずれを埋め合わせる制動操作を行うようになり、最終的に回生制動力をなくした場合でも、また、後述するクリープ現象による加速方向の小さな駆動力が加わったとしても、強めの油圧制動力で確実に、かつ、乗り心地を悪くすることなく、自分の思っている運転感覚で車両を停止させることができる。
 このとき、図3に示す減速度g2(0.2G)に近い減速度で低速走行する車両Lでも、停止直前には走行車両に効かせる制動力の比重を回生制動力Rよりも油圧制動力Pをかなり大きくすることができ、このときの低速走行する車両Lでは、その停止前後の車両速度Vsや回生制動力や油圧制動力の相対関係は図7に示すようになっている。図3に示す減速度g1(0.5G)から減速度g2の範囲では、最大回生制動力に補正係数Aを乗算して漸減する実行回生制動力に抑制しているので、図7中に実線で示すように、実行回生制動力が斬減するのに対して油圧制動力が漸増することにより、停止直前Tbに回生制動力を解除した後にも走行速度Vsは滑らかに連続するように車両を減速させて油圧制動力のみで停止させることができる。
 これに対して、図7中に破線で示すように、最大回生制動力を抑制することなく、一定に維持したまま停止直前Tbにその最大回生制動力を解除した場合には、停止直前Tb前までは最大回生制動力が効いていたためにブレーキペダルを踏み込み量も少なくなって油圧制動力がごく少なくなっている。それにも拘わらず、その停止直前Tbに最大回生制動力が解除されると、小さな油圧制動力のみでブレーキを掛けている状態になることにより減速する割合が極端に少なくなって停止するまでに時間と距離が必要になってしまう。このときには、運転者は、最大回生制動力が解除されて惰力による走行が継続されると、減速の程度が少なくなるために加速を開始した感覚に陥って慌ててブレーキペダルを踏み付ける停止操作を行う場合があり、そうなると、図7中に一転鎖線で示すように、油圧制動力が急激に上昇して急停止することになる。ここで、図7中の最下のグラフは、回生制動力を解除した後には、エンジン2のクリープ現象と同様に車両を扱う運転を実現するために、そのクリープ現象に相当する駆動力で駆動するようにモータジェネレータ4、5を動作させていることを示している。このため、そのモータジェネレータ4、5は、回生制動力とは逆に加速する方向の駆動力を発生するために、小さな油圧制動力となっている状態では、車両はより停止させ難くなっている。
 なお、図6の下側に図示する制動力のグラフでは、高速走行H、中速走行M、低速走行Lのそれぞれで油圧制動力と回生制動力の合力は一定になるように、言い換えると、中速走行Mや低速走行Lのように、回生制動力が徐々に抑制されるときには油圧制動力がその抑制分の割合だけ徐々に向上している。また、このときに、運転者が回生制動力の抑制に合わせてブレーキペダルの踏み込み力を増加しないで油圧制動力が上がらない場合でも、停止直前に大きな最大回生制動力が突然に解除されるわけではなく、大きく抑制されている実行回生制動力が解除されるだけであるので、乗り心地や運転感覚の低下は防止されている。
 また、図7に示す車両速度Vsや回生制動力の関係としては、一定の減速度で走行速度が減少しているために、一定の補正係数を乗算して最大回生制動力を補正して実行回生制動力に抑制する一例を示している。実際には、その減速度は状況に応じて変化することから、その補正係数も変化して抑制の程度も変動することになり、実行回生制動力も変化する。また、図5に示すフローチャートにおいて、その減速度がステップS106の閾値よりも小さい場合には、その補正係数に、減速する車両速度Vsに応じた修正係数が乗算されることから、図8に示すように、その閾値を減速度が下回ったタイミングTuから回生制動力はより大きく抑制されることにより、減速度も緩くなってより油圧制動力によるブレーキ操作に依存する操作感覚になる。
 したがって、減速度Gや車両の走行速度Vsに応じた回生制動力をモータジェネレータ4、5に効果的に発生させるとともに回生エネルギを不必要に低減することなく効率よく回収してバッテリ21に充電することができ、運転者の意図しない制動を回避して、その運転者の要求する制動に追従するように無意識のうちに油圧制動力の割合を多くして快適に車両を停止させることができる。なお、乗り心地を重視するために油圧制動力の割合を多くして回生制動力を常時抑制することも考えられるが、回生エネルギの回収が少なくなりバッテリ21を充電するためにエンジン2を起動する必要が生じて燃費が悪化するなど問題が多い。
 このように本実施形態においては、車両が減速するときには、その減速操作検出時に設定する最大回生制動力がそのまま停止直前まで車両に働くことを回避して、減速度Gやその走行速度Vsに応じて抑制した実行回生制動力により車両を減速させることができる。また、同時に、適切な回生制動力に応じてモータジェネレータ4、5で発生する回生エネルギを効率よく回収することができる。したがって、モータジェネレータ4、5に効果的な回生制動力を発生させることができるとともに、そのモータジェネレータ4、5で効率よく回生エネルギを回収することができ、同時に、回生制動力が効き過ぎるのを回避して快適に制動して車両を停止することができる。
 本実施形態の他の態様としては、例えば、図9に示すように、上述実施形態の図5に示すフローチャートのステップS105~S109に代えて、ステップS104において車両の負の減速度Gを取得した後には、ステップS125に進んで処理するようにしてもよい。
 詳細には、まず、ステップS125では、制動力制御部44は、ステップS101で検出取得する車両速度VsとステップS104で演算取得する減速度Gに応じた補正係数を同様の検索マップから検索(算出)取得してステップS129に進む。このステップS129では、制動力制御部44は、制動力設定部43がステップS103で設定した最大回生制動力に、検索取得した車両速度Vsと減速度Gに基づく補正係数を乗算して実行回生制動力を取得して、その実行回生制動力を発生するようにモータジェネレータ4、5の駆動制御を開始継続しつつステップS101に戻って同様の処理を繰り返す。
 この他の実施形態の場合には、常に車両速度Vsを考慮した補正係数で最大回生制動力を補正することができるので、車両速度Vsの高低に対応する減速度の大きさに応じて必要な回生制動力の抑制をすることができ、実際の走行状態に即したより精度のよい実行回生制動力を設定することができる。例えば、低減速度の場合には高速走行時から回生制動力の抑制を開始し、また、中減速度の場合には低速走行になるまで一定の回生制動力を保持し、また、高減速度の場合には上述実施形態のように最大回生制動力の抑制を回避するなど、走行状況に応じて油圧制動力と協働してその走行車両に制動を掛けるようにすることができる。
 本発明の範囲は、図示され記載された例示的な実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明が目的とするものと均等な効果をもたらすすべての実施形態をも含む。さらに、本発明の範囲は、各請求項により画される発明の特徴の組み合わせに限定されるものではなく、すべての開示されたそれぞれの特徴のうち特定の特徴のあらゆる所望する組み合わせによって画されうる。
 これまで本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上述の実施形態に限定されず、その技術的思想の範囲内において種々異なる形態にて実施されてよいことは言うまでもない。

Claims (18)

  1.  車両の走行により発生する回生エネルギを回収するのに伴って当該車両を減速させる回生制動力を発生するモータジェネレータの回生制御装置であって、
     前記車両の走行状態を検出する走行状態検出部と、
     該走行状態検出部の検出情報から前記車両の減速度を取得する減速度取得部と、
     前記走行状態検出部による前記車両の減速操作の検出時に前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を設定する制動力設定部と、
     前記減速度取得部の取得した前記減速度に基づいて前記制動力設定部により設定された前記回生制動力を調整して抑制する制動力調整部と、
    を備えることを特徴とする回生制御装置。
  2.  前記制動力設定部は、前記走行状態検出部による前記車両の前記減速操作の検出後には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を一定に設定しており、
     前記制動力調整部は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度が大きい場合には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力の抑制を小さくあるいは当該抑制を解除する一方、該減速度が小さい場合には前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力の抑制を大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回生制御装置。
  3.  前記制動力調整部は、予め設定されている補正係数を前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力に乗算して当該回生制動力を抑制する方向に補正することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の回生制御装置。
  4.  前記補正係数は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度の大きさに応じて減少するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の回生制御装置。
  5.  前記補正係数は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度の大きさが予め設定されている第1設定値以上では抑制のない値であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の回生制御装置。
  6.  前記制動力調整部は、前記減速度取得部により取得する前記減速度が予め設定されている第2設定値よりも小さい場合には、予め設定されている修正係数を乗算して前記回生制動力の補正値をさらに抑制する方向に修正することを特徴とする請求項3から5のいずれかに記載の回生制御装置。
  7.  前記修正係数は、前記走行状態検出部により検出する車両速度に応じて減少するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の回生制御装置。
  8.  前記制動力調整部は、前記走行状態検出部により検出する車両速度が停止直前の速度に達して前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力が解除されるまで該回生制動力を滑らかに連続するように抑制することを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の回生制御装置。
  9.  上記請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の回生制御装置と、ブレーキペダルの踏力に応じて前記車両の制動力を発生する油圧制動装置と、を備えることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。
  10.  燃焼エネルギで回転軸を回転させる内燃機関と、電気エネルギで回転軸を回転させる2組の第1、第2モータジェネレータと、車両を走行させる駆動力を伝達する駆動軸と、前記第1、第2モータジェネレータのそれぞれの前記回転軸、前記内燃機関の前記回転軸および前記駆動軸を連結する遊星歯車機構と、を備えており、
     前記第1、第2モータジェネレータは、前記車両を走行させる駆動力を発生して前記回転軸を回転させる機能と、前記車両の走行時に回生エネルギを回収する機能とのいずれか一方あるいは双方の機能を果たすことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のハイブリッド車両。
  11.  車両の走行により発生する回生エネルギを回収するのに伴って当該車両を減速させる回生制動力を発生するモータジェネレータの回生制御方法であって、
     前記車両の減速操作を検出したときに、設定される前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力を前記車両の減速度に基づいて調整して抑制することを特徴とする回生制御方法。
  12.  前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記減速度が大きい場合には前記抑制を小さくあるいは当該抑制を解除する一方、該減速度が小さい場合には前記抑制を大きくすることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の回生制御方法。
  13.  前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、予め設定されている補正係数を乗算して抑制する方向に補正することを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の回生制御方法。
  14.  前記補正係数は、前記減速度の大きさに応じて減少するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の回生制御方法。
  15.  前記補正係数は、前記減速度の大きさが予め設定されている第1設定値以上では抑制のない値であることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の回生制御方法。
  16.  前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記減速度が予め設定されている第2設定値よりも小さい場合には、予め設定されている修正係数を乗算して前記補正係数による補正値をさらに抑制する方向に修正することを特徴とする請求項13から15のいずれかに記載の回生制御方法。
  17.  前記修正係数は、前記車両の走行速度に応じて減少するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の回生制御方法。
  18.  前記モータジェネレータの前記回生制動力は、前記車両の走行速度が停止直前の速度に達して解除されるまで滑らかに連続するように抑制することを特徴とする請求項11から17のいずれかに記載の回生制御方法。
