Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fabric tape for a slide fastener.
- the present invention also relates to a slide fastener chain and a slide fastener provided with the fabric tape.
- the slide fastener is an opening / closing tool for articles that are used not only for daily necessities such as clothing, bags, shoes and sundries, but also for industrial items such as water tanks, fishing nets and space suits.
- a slide fastener is generally a pair of long tapes, a large number of elements that are meshed fasteners sewn along one side edge of each tape, and a slider that controls opening and closing of the fasteners by meshing and separating the elements. It is mainly composed of three parts.
- FIG. 1 described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-42731 (Patent Document 1), and is composed of an element mounting portion A and a tape main portion B woven with warps 2 and wefts 3.
- the element attachment portion A is a portion to which the element is attached, and the tape main portion B is sewn to the main body portion of the article.
- the element 1 is attached to the element attachment portion A with the attachment thread 5. Further, the end portion of the tape main part B can be provided with an ear thread 8 for preventing fraying.
- the element mounting portion A is densely woven for the purpose of cost reduction, prevention of misalignment and puckering, and improvement of element mounting stability.
- the main part B of the tape is a rough mesh in which at least one of the warp and weft is a multifilament yarn as a core material and the surface of which is coated with a synthetic resin, and the intersection of each yarn is welded It is described that a tissue part is formed.
- Patent Document 2 for the purpose of providing a fashionable fastener tape that can be applied to attachment of all fastener elements in a slide fastener, a side edge portion of the fastener tape is provided.
- a plurality of flexible yarns are woven in the longitudinal direction to form an element attachment, and the flexible yarns are formed from textured processed multifilament yarns of flexible synthetic fibers
- the processed yarn is thicker and bulkier than the warp.
- Patent Document 3 a fabric that is rich in flexibility and draping is well-familiar with the fabric both during and after the sewing of the slide fastener, and as a slide fastener.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a fastener tape having both flexibility and softness that ensure tape strength and mesh strength.
- Patent Document 3 discloses that warp yarns and weft yarns constituting the fastener tape are multifilament yarns, and the single fiber fineness of the warp yarn constituting filaments is 1.0 to 2.0 dTex, It is described that the single fiber fineness of the constituent filament of the weft is 2.0 to 5.0 dTex.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a fabric tape for a slide fastener having both lightness and strength. Another object of the present invention is to provide a slide fastener provided with such a fabric tape. Another object of the present invention is to provide an article in which such a slide fastener is sewn.
- the fineness and weaving density of a woven tape for slide fastener are warp yarns having a fineness of 150 to 170 dTex and a weaving density of 70 to 110 yarns / inch (2.54 cm). And the weft has a fineness of 300 to 350 dTex and a weave density of 40 to 50 yarns / inch (2.54 cm). In general, wefts are thicker than warps in order to maintain strength. The reason why yarns having such specifications have been used is that they are excellent in terms of securing strength, manufacturability, manufacturing cost, and the like.
- the present inventor initially tried to reduce the weight of the fastener tape by reducing the woven density without changing the fineness, but the tape was in a state of appearance and was inferior in appearance. It was found that sufficient strength could not be obtained.
- the present inventor has conducted extensive studies under such circumstances, and as a result, while using a yarn that is thinner than the conventional one, that is, using a low-definition yarn, the woven density is increased and the ratio of the plain weave structure is frequently used. It has been found that a fastener tape that can satisfy both weight reduction and strength retention can be obtained.
- the present invention completed on the basis of the above knowledge is a woven tape (100) for a slide fastener having an element attachment portion (A) and a tape main portion (B), wherein the tape main portion (B) Constituent yarns are warp yarn (101) having a fineness of 30 to 100 dTex and a weaving density of 100 to 220 yarns / inch (2.54 cm), and weft yarn (102) having a fineness of 60 to 180 dTex and a weaving density of 30 to 80 yarns / inch (2. 54 cm), and the ratio of the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warps (101) of the tape main part (B) is 40% or more.
- the element attachment portion (A) has a warp row in which two or more warps (103) are aligned, and the weaving position is shifted between adjacent warp rows.
- One warp (104) is placed.
- the yarn constituting the element attachment portion (A) has a warp yarn (101) having a fineness of 60 to 100 dTex, a weave density of 60 to 100 yarns / inch (2.54 cm),
- the weft (102) has a fineness of 140 to 180 dTex and a weave density of 30 to 70 / inch (2.54 cm).
- the ratio of the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warps (101) of the tape main part (B) is 60% or more and 80% or less. It is.
- the surface density of the tape is 140 to 160 g / m 2 .
- the tape thickness of the tape main portion (B) is 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
- the tape thickness of the element mounting portion (A) is thicker than the thickness of the tape main portion.
- the present invention is a slide fastener provided with the fabric tape (100) for slide fastener according to the present invention.
- the present invention is an article in which the slide fastener according to the present invention is sewn.
- a fabric tape for a slide fastener having both lightness and strength.
- the slide fastener according to the present invention has an effect that the flexibility of the tape is improved by using a thinner thread than the conventional one.
- FIG. 3 is a view showing a structure of a fabric tape for a slide fastener described in FIG. 1 of Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-42731 (Patent Document 1).
- FIGS. 1-1 and 1-2 are partial enlarged views of a tape main part (B) and an element attachment part (A) according to an embodiment of the fastener tape (100) according to the present invention, respectively.
- the fastener tape according to the present invention is based on the fact that the yarn constituting the tape main body (B) is woven with a low fineness yarn at a high weaving density, and this structure reduces the weight of the fastener tape. It serves as a foundation for maintaining strength. Low fineness, that is, thin threads tend to be expensive, and the rate of manufacturing defects is high, so there is a history that has been avoided as a material for fastener tapes. This is one of the features of the present invention.
- the warp has a fineness of 30 to 100 dTex and a weave density of 100 to 220 yarns / inch (2.54 cm), and the weft has a fineness of 60 to 180 dTex and a weave density of 30 to 80 yarns / inch (2.54 cm).
- Either monofilament or multifilament may be used for the yarn, but one yarn may be composed of monofilament, or may be composed of multifilament made by bundling two or more monofilaments, Furthermore, it can also consist of a plurality of multifilaments. For example, a yarn composed of two multifilaments in which 50 monofilaments of 5dTex are bundled is one yarn of 500dTex. Depending on the loom used, the weft is generally composed of two multifilaments.
- the warp (101) has a fineness of 84 dTex and a weave density of 175 yarns / inch (2.54 cm)
- the weft (102) has a fineness of 167 dTex and a weave density of 52 yarns / inch. (2.54 cm).
- the weft yarn (102) is composed of two multifilaments having a fineness of 84 dTex.
- Ratio of plain weave structure The fastener tape according to the present invention is also characterized in that the ratio of the plain weave structure is further increased as compared to a normal fastener tape.
- a plain weave structure is a structure in which warps and wefts are alternately crossed one by one. Since there are many intersections of warps and wefts, it is excellent in strength and durability, but has no texture. For this reason, in the conventional fastener tape, the ratio of the number of warps constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warps is as low as 0 to 40%.
- the ratio of the number of warp yarns constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warp yarns is 40% or more, preferably 50% or more, and more preferably 60%. Set it as high as% or more to ensure strength.
- the plain weave structure requires a longer thread than other structures, and thus the overall weight is increased. Therefore, from the viewpoint of reducing the weight of the fastener tape, it is preferable to include a structure other than the plain weave structure.
- the ratio of the number of warps constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warps is preferably 90% or less, and more preferably 80% or less.
- the structure other than the plain weave structure for producing a texture is a woven structure having warp straddling two or more wefts such as a twill weave structure and a satin weave structure. Examples of twill weaves include 2/2 twills (warp / weft) in which wefts run over two warps and then sink, 2/1, 1/2, 1/3, 3/1, etc. No twill.
- the number of warps (101) constituting the tape main body (B) is 10, and the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure is 10 Is 6, the ratio of the plain weave structure is 60%.
- the rest is a 2/2 twill structure. Since the portion not shown in the present embodiment is also configured with the same woven structure, the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure with respect to the total number of warps (101) of the tape main part (B) The proportion is about 60%.
- the ratio of the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure to the total number of warps (101) of the tape main part (B) is not limited to the illustrated example.
- the ratio of the plain weave structure may be about 50%. it can. Further, by setting the number of warp yarns (101) constituting the plain weave structure to 4, the ratio of the plain weave structure can be about 40%. Further, the number of warps (101) constituting the plain weave structure can be appropriately set according to the change in the width dimension of the tape. For example, when the width dimension of the tape (the horizontal dimension in FIG. 1-1) is 11 to 13 mm, the warp yarns (101) constituting the plain weave structure with respect to the total number of warp yarns (101) of the tape main part (B). The ratio of the number is 60% or more.
- the width of the tape is 14 to 17 mm
- the number of warp yarns in the plain weave structure is not increased, and the warp yarns in the tape main portion (B) are all increased by increasing the warp yarns in the structure other than the plain weave structure.
- the ratio of the warp constituting the plain weave structure to the number can be 50% or more, or 40% or more.
- the thickness of the tape main portion can be 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
- the tape main body (B) shown in FIG. 1-1 has a thickness of 0.3 mm.
- FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a fastener stringer (200) in which an element (201) is attached to a fastener tape. In FIG. 3, the distance indicated by T is the thickness of the tape.
- Polyester nylon, polypropylene, acrylic, etc. that have been used in conventional slide fasteners can be used as the thread material used in the slide fastener according to the present invention. For reasons such as high, polyester is preferred.
- the weft yarn used for the element mounting portion is usually the same as the yarn used for the tape main portion, and the woven density is usually the same.
- the warp has a high degree of freedom, and the yarn fineness and woven density in the element mounting portion are not necessarily the same as those in the tape main portion.
- the fineness and woven density of the yarn in the element mounting portion should be in the range described in the explanation of the main part of the tape. It is preferable to use polyester as the yarn material.
- the thickness of the fastener tape is reduced because the thread constituting the element attachment portion is also thin like the tape main portion, but there is a problem that the stability of the element attachment form and the attachment strength are reduced. Therefore, it is desirable to increase the thickness of the element mounting portion so that no gap is generated between the element and the tape.
- As a method for increasing the thickness of the element mounting portion it is possible to use a warp row in which two or more warps are aligned in the element mounting portion. In order to increase the thickness, it is preferable to increase the number of the aligning yarns. However, if the number of the aligning yarns is excessively increased, there is a problem that misalignment occurs or the tape becomes too thick.
- the number of the aligned yarns included in one warp row is preferably 2 to 4, more preferably 3. Then, it is desirable to prevent excessive lifting of the yarn and displacement of the woven structure by disposing one warp with the weaving position shifted between adjacent warp rows.
- the warp straddles two or more wefts rather than a 1/1 (warp / weft) structure in which one warp rides on the weft and then sinks 2/2, 2/1, 1
- a woven structure such as / 2, 1/3, or 3/1.
- the element mounting portion (A) shown in FIG. 1-2 has a warp row of 2/2 woven structure in which three warps (103) are aligned, and a woven position is set between adjacent warp rows.
- One warp (104) having a shifted woven structure of 2/2 is arranged.
- the warp yarn (104) has a fineness of 84 dTex and a weave density of 175 yarns / inch (2.54 cm), and the weft yarn (105) has a fineness of 167 dTex and a weave density of 50 yarns / inch (2.54 cm).
- the element attachment portion does not necessarily need to use a thread having the same fineness and material as the tape main portion, and the yarn used in the tape main portion and the element attachment portion may be changed.
- the weaving density may be different for the tape main body portion and the element mounting portion.
- the fineness and woven density are preferably in the range described in the description of the main part of the tape, and polyester is preferably used as the yarn material.
- the thickness of the element mounting portion is larger than the thickness of the tape main portion,
- the thickness can be increased by 1.1 to 1.2 times, for example, 2.2 to 4.8 mm.
- the fastener tape according to the present invention has been devised for reducing the weight as described above, and thus can typically have a weight of 50 to 70% of the conventional fastener tape. Specifically, the surface density of the fastener tape according to the present invention can be 140 to 160 g / m 2 .
- the fastener tape according to the present invention has the above-described structure, it can have sufficient strength even though a thin thread is used.
- 1-1 and FIG. 1-2 are applied to the fastener tape (100) according to the embodiment of the present invention with a fastener chain formed by attaching a coiled resin element in accordance with JIS-S3015. Was 530N. This value is inferior to that of a conventional fastener tape using a thick thread as a fastener tape.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of a fastener stringer (200) formed by sewing a coiled element (201) on an element attachment portion (A) with sutures (202, 203).
- 3 is a cross-sectional view in the direction of the arrow in FIG.
- the type of the suture thread (202, 203) is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to use a suture thread of 160 to 350 dTex in order to reduce the weight of the fastener tape and further improve the flexibility.
- a suture thread it is preferable to use a plurality of needle threads in order to supplement the attachment strength of the element.
- one looper thread is used for a plurality of needle threads.
- a double ring underlay sewing is preferred.
- the coiled element (201) is sewn to the element attachment portion (A) by two needle threads (202) and one looper thread (203).
- the slider 302 and the upper and lower stoppers 303 and 304 are attached to the slide fastener chain 301, and for example, the slide fastener 305 as shown in FIG. 4 is completed.
- the slide fastener according to the present invention can be used as an opening / closing tool for an article by sewing on various articles, and is preferably used for an article such as a race, a cardigan, or a windbreaker that requires lightness. Can do.

Abstract
