Abstract
Description
しかし、この一次電池は直径数ミリと極めて小さい物であるので、補聴器から一次電池をつまみ出して新しい物と交換するのは、補聴器使用者(例えば、高齢者等)にとっては意外と大変な作業となる。
すなわち、従来のペン型の補聴器用補助具は、その先端に電磁石が装着されており、この電磁石の吸着力によって補聴器内から一次電池を吸着して取り出すように構成されている。
また、空気電池は空気口が開放しているだけで、酸素との化学反応が継続され、その結果として徐々に電池容量が低下してしまう。そこで、下記特許文献2のように、本体ケースの外面に設けた操作体により、スイッチング手段を開閉するとともに、空気電池の空気口を蓋体で開閉することが提案されている。
しかしながら、近年の補聴器は益々小型化されているため、補聴器から電池ケースを引き出すこと自体が困難な場合があり、上記従来の電磁石の吸着力を利用したペン型の補聴器用補助具が用意されても、一次電池交換前の電池ケースを引き出す状態で交換作業が停滞してしまうこともある。
また、特許文献2に示された技術を補聴器に適用した場合には、操作体は本体ケースの外面に設けられるが、補聴器の小型化によってこの操作体も必然的に小さくなってしまう。ところが、補聴器使用者の多くは高齢者が多いため、このような小さな操作体は扱いづらく、結果として操作性が低下してしまう。
そこで、本発明は、一次電池交換の作業時における作業の容易性を高めることを目的とするものである。
さらに、本発明は、空気電池の保存性を高めることを目的とするものである。
そしてこの目的を達成するために、本発明の補聴器用補助具は、本体ケースと、補聴器収納空間と、保持部材と、開放部と、を備えている。本体ケースは、第1面に補聴器が挿入される挿入口を有する。補聴器収納空間は、本体ケース内の挿入口に対応する部分に設けられている。保持部材は、補聴器収納空間に収納された補聴器を保持する。開放部は、補聴器収納空間に収納された補聴器の電池ケースを開放する。
本発明によれば、上記の構成により、電池交換作業の容易性を高めることができる。
すなわち、本発明によれば、第1面が上向きになる状態で補聴器の電池ケースを開放した後、第1面が下向きになるように本体ケースを逆さまにすることで、開放された電池ケースから電池を自重によって落下させて、電池交換の作業性を高めることができる。
(実施の形態1)
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る補聴器用補助具の使用状態を示す図であって、補聴器用補助具の薄い箱状の本体ケース1の上面(第1面)には、補聴器2の挿入口3が設けられている。
補聴器2は、図2に示すように、耳掛け型であって、耳の背面に装着される補聴器本体ケース4の下方には、電池ケース5が開閉軸6を中心にして回動することで開閉可能な状態で収納されている。電池ケース5の開閉は、開閉爪7を爪で操作することによって行われる。また、補聴器本体ケース4の上部には、耳掛けチューブ8を介して、レシーバ9が連結されている。
本体ケース1の挿入口3は、図1に示すように、補聴器本体ケース4の形状に合わせて形成され、かつ補聴器本体ケース4よりも少し大きめの凹部と、補聴器本体ケース4から開放された電池ケース5を露出させる凹部と、を有する。
これにより、この状態で、挿入口3が下向きになるように本体ケース1を逆さまにすることで、電池10を電池ケース5から自重によって下方に落下させて、容易に取り出すことができる。
本体ケース1は、図3および図4に示すように、上面側から順に、挿入口3が設けられた上板12と、中枠13と、下板14とを有している。
中枠13の上面には、保持部材15が設けられている。また、中枠13の下面には、開放部16と、操作体17とが設けられている。
保持部材15は、図5に示すように、略二等辺三角形形状を有している。そして、略二等辺三角形の一斜辺の一端側には、保持部材軸支部18、一斜辺の他端側には保持部材摺動軸19、底辺側には所定間隔をおいて2個の保持爪20が、それぞれ設けられている。また、保持部材軸支部18は、中枠13の上面に設けられた回動軸21の外周に回動自在に係合している。
操作体17は、図8に示すように、長板形状を有している。そして、操作体17は、その長手方向に沿って設けられた保持部材摺動軸19を摺動案内させる第1の摺動溝25と、開放部摺動軸24を摺動案内させる第2の摺動溝26と、を有している。
また、第2の摺動溝26は、その一端側(図8中右端側)において、第1の摺動溝25に対して直交する方向に沿って形成されており、中部から他端側(図8中左端側)において、第1の摺動溝25の一端側と平行に形成されている。
保持部材15の保持部材摺動軸19は、中枠13の摺動溝31を貫通し、第1の摺動溝25に係合している。なお、摺動溝31は、第1の摺動溝25と直交する方向に沿って形成されている。
開放部16の開放部摺動軸24は、第2の摺動溝26に係合している。
そして、電池ケース5を閉じる動作が終わった後、さらに操作部11を図中右方向に移動させることで、図8に示す操作体17が図中右方向に移動する。これにより、第1の摺動溝25に係合している保持部材15の保持部材摺動軸19が、図10に示す状態から、図8に示す他端側、つまり第2の摺動溝26から離れる側に移動する。これにより、保持部材15は、保持部材摺動軸19を軸として時計回りに回動する。その結果、保持爪20を、挿入口3内から退避させることができる。
図14は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る補聴器用補助具の使用状態を示す図であって、補聴器用補助具の本体ケース41の上面(第1面)には、補聴器42の挿入口43が設けられている。
補聴器42は、図15に示すように、耳掛け型であって、耳の背面に装着される補聴器本体ケース44の下方には、電池ケース45が開閉軸46を中心にして回動することで開閉可能な状態で収納されている。なお、補聴器42において、電池ケース45の開閉は、開閉爪47を爪で操作することで行われる。また、補聴器本体ケース44の上部には、耳掛けチューブ48を介して、イヤチップ49が連結されている。
つまり、電池ケース45内の空気電池50を交換する際には、まず、図15に示すように、補聴器本体ケース44内に電池ケース45が収納された状態で、補聴器本体ケース44が、本体ケース41内の挿入口43に連通する補聴器収納空間41aに装着される。次に、操作部51が回転操作されることで、電池ケース45が開閉軸46を中心に回動して、補聴器本体ケース44内から補聴器本体ケース44外へと引き出される。
このため、この状態で図14に示す本体ケース41を、挿入口43が下向きになるように逆さまにすることで、空気電池50を電池ケース45から自重によって下方に落下させて、容易に取り出すことができる。
本体ケース41は、図16および図17に示すように、挿入口43が設けられた上ケース54と、フレーム55とを有している。
フレーム55の上面側には、保持部材56と、スライド蓋開閉部53と、スプリング53aとが設けられている。また、フレーム55の下面側には、開放部57と、操作部51とが設けられている。
また、保持部56aの内周側の面には、本体ケース41を支持するために所定間隔を空けて2個の保持爪59が内向きに設けられている。保持部材摺動軸58cは、フレーム55を貫通し、後述する操作部51に連結されている。よって、操作部51を操作することにより保持部材摺動軸58cが連動し、回動軸58bを回動中心として保持部56aを回動動作させることができる。
これにより、バネ部56bにおいて保持部材56全体の長さを調整することができる。さらに、この動きによって、保持爪59を補聴器収納空間41aに対して出し入れすることで、補聴器収納空間41aに収納された補聴器42の保持状態と開放状態とを切り換えることができる。
操作部51の中央に設けられた操作部回動孔51aは、フレーム55の裏面側から回動軸61bに係合する。摺動溝64の両端には、電池ケース開閉リブ66a,66bが設けられている。開放部57の開放部摺動軸62が電池ケース開閉リブ66a,66bに当接するまで操作部51を回転させた後、さらに操作部51を回転させることにより、開放部57を動かすことができる。
そして、保持部材摺動軸58cの往復動作が、保持部材56の動きにつながる。つまり、保持部材摺動軸58cがレール65に乗り上げていない状態では、保持部材56の保持爪59が補聴器収納空間41aの外側に退避した状態(補聴器42の開放状態)となる。また、保持部材摺動軸58cがレール65に乗り上げている状態では、保持部材56の保持爪59が補聴器収納空間41aの内向きに突出した状態(補聴器42の保持状態)となる。
つまり、本実施形態の補聴器用補助具では、操作部51の回転操作によって、補聴器収納空間41aに対して保持爪59を出し入れすることで、補聴器42の保持状態と開放状態(非保持状態)とを容易に切り換えることができる。
図21(a)は、補聴器42が補聴器収納空間41aに入れられ、電池ケース45が補聴器本体ケース44に収納されている状態を示している。この状態では、開放部摺動軸62は、摺動溝64の図中左端に位置しており、保持部材摺動軸58cはレール65の上には乗り上げていない。ここから操作部51を図中左方向に回動させると、直ちに保持部材摺動軸58cがレール65に乗り上げる。このため、保持部材56が、補聴器42を保持するために補聴器収納空間41a内に突出する。そして、この保持状態は、操作部51を図21における反時計回りに回しきった後も維持される。
これにより、開放部摺動軸62が操作部51の動きと連動して動くことで、開放部57による回動動作が行われる。よって、開閉凹部63が電池ケース45を開く方向に作用し、補聴器本体ケース44から電池ケース45を開くことができる。
このように、補聴器本体ケース44から電池ケース45を引き出して開放する操作としては、操作部51を回転操作することで、まず、保持部材56によって補聴器42が保持される。その後、さらに操作部51を回転操作することで、開放部57によって電池ケース45が補聴器本体ケース44内から引き出されて開放される。
この後、保持部材摺動軸58cがレール65から離れるため、保持部材56による補聴器42の保持状態が解除される。
なお、電池ケース45の開閉操作を行う際には、保持部材56と開放部57との動きの遅動が生じないように制御するために、前述の摺動溝64の遊び区間の設定が重要となる。
スライド蓋開閉部53は、略長方形状を有しており、その短辺側が円弧形状となっている。また、スライド蓋開閉部53は、略長方形状の一端側に設けられており開放済みの電池ケース45の正面を覆う蓋部52と、天面に設けられており使用者の指によって直接操作される指かけ部67と、を有している。さらに、スライド蓋開閉部53は、その背面側に、スライド蓋開閉部53の摺動動作を行う際のガイドとして設けられた摺動リブ68と、スライド蓋開閉部53を閉状態に維持するためのスプリング53aを押さえるための押さえリブ69と、蓋部52の裏面側に設けられた磁石70と、を有している。
このとき、摺動リブ68は、スプリング収納部53bに係合しており、スライド蓋開閉部53の摺動動作のガイドを行う。スプリング53aの一端が、押さえリブ69に圧接しているため、通常状態として、スライド蓋開閉部53は閉状態で保持されている。
これにより、補聴器42を本体ケース41に収納した状態で、本体ケース41をそのまま乾燥ケースに入れた場合でも、本体ケース41内の補聴器42を乾燥させることができる。また、このような保管状態において、電池ケース45を開放状態にしておくことで、空気電池50の空気孔71がスライド蓋開閉部53の磁石70によって塞がれているので、保管中における空気電池50の消耗を抑制することができる。

上記実施の形態1では、補聴器2を保持する保持部材15は、操作部11の操作に連動して進出・退避することで、補聴器収納空間1Aに収納されている補聴器2の保持・開放の機能を有している例を挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
例えば、この保持部材15に代わる構造として、補聴器収納空間1Aの内壁面の形状が補聴器2の外周より小さくなるように、内壁面に設けられた弾性素材によって保持部材を構成してもよい。
この場合には、操作部11を操作することによる保持部材56の動作が不要となり、開放部16によって電池ケース5の開閉を行うだけでよくなるため、より電池交換作業を簡素化することができる。
なお、上記実施の形態2においても、同様の構成を適用することができる。
上記実施の形態2において、蓋部52を開閉自在に構成して、空気電池50を取り出す際には蓋部52を開き、一方、空気電池50を保管する状態では蓋部52を閉じる例を挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
例えば、電池交換を考慮しない単なる補聴器用保管具として用いる場合には、蓋部52の開閉機構を取り除いて、開いた状態の電池ケースの正面に蓋部が常時配置されている構成としてもよい。
上記実施形態では、電池交換が行われる補聴器として、耳掛けタイプの補聴器を用いて説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
例えば、耳孔タイプの補聴器等に対しても、本発明の適用は当然に可能である。

- 第1面に補聴器が挿入される挿入口を有する本体ケースと、
前記本体ケース内の前記挿入口に対応する部分に設けられた補聴器収納空間と、
前記補聴器収納空間に収納された補聴器を保持する保持部材と、
前記補聴器収納空間に収納された補聴器の電池ケースを開放する開放部と、
