- a rear parcel shelf that covers the luggage compartment and improves the appearance may be provided.
- the rear parcel shelf is attached to the upper part of the luggage compartment in a substantially horizontal state, and when loading and unloading the luggage, the rear end is raised (raised) to open the luggage compartment.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a technique in which one end of a linear interlocking member is attached to the back door through the rear parcel shelf and a stopper as a retaining stopper is attached to the other end. According to this technique, the rear parcel shelf rises in conjunction with the back door being opened, and the surplus portion of the interlocking member is accommodated below the rear parcel shelf when the back door is closed.
- Patent Document 2 a windshield sheet is attached to the rear end of a rear parcel shelf that is erected by a hanging string when the back door is opened. Techniques to do this are disclosed. According to this technique, the cabin can be shielded from the luggage compartment as necessary in the open state of the back door.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a hinge structure for a rear parcel shelf that can maintain its standing state by simply lifting the rear end of the rear parcel shelf.
- a typical configuration of the present invention is a hinge structure of a rear parcel shelf that is attached to an upper portion of a cargo compartment of a vehicle so that the cargo compartment can be opened and closed.
- the shaft includes a shaft provided on one side of the shelf and a bearing portion provided on the other side for holding the shaft.
- the shaft has a first protrusion and a second protrusion on an outer peripheral surface.
- the rear parcel shelf has a first recess and a second recess to be fitted with the projection, and the rear parcel shelf is in a substantially horizontal state, only the first projection and the first recess are fitted, and the rear parcel shelf is in an upright state, The first protrusion and the second recess, and the second protrusion and the first recess are fitted, respectively.
- At least one of the first protrusion and the second protrusion provided on the shaft or the periphery of the first recess and the second recess of the bearing portion is elastic and retractable in a direction away from the other.
- a complicated mechanism such as a lock mechanism
- the present invention does not require setting of additional parts such as a hanging strap, and the contribution in terms of cost becomes remarkable.
- the rear parcel shelf when the rear parcel shelf is in a substantially horizontal state, it is fitted to the interior member of the vehicle body at one place, whereas when the rear parcel shelf is in an upright state, it is fitted at two places. Therefore, a relatively high strength is ensured. As a result, even if the periphery of the protrusion and the recess is formed of an elastic member, the risk of falling naturally from the standing state due to gravity can be reduced.
- the bearing portion includes a first recess and a second recess, an arc portion along the outer peripheral surface of the shaft, a first recess portion and a first cavity portion that is thinned along the outer side of the arc portion and the first recess, It is good to be comprised by the 1st recessed part and the 2nd recessed part, and the 2nd space

- the edge of a guide wall 156 to be described later is connected in the middle of the second recess 146, so that the second gap portion 152 covers the second recess 146. It is formed.
- Beads 158a and 158b are provided on the surface of the guide wall 156, and the tip of the shaft 126 comes into contact with the beads 158a and 158b of the guide wall 156.
- By providing such beads 158a and 158b it is possible to make the guide wall 156 damaged by the rotation of the shaft 126, and it is possible to improve the appearance when the rear parcel shelf 140 is removed.
- FIG. 5 is a view showing a state in which the rear parcel shelf 140 is arranged substantially horizontally and the cargo compartment L is closed.
- FIG. 5 (a) is a schematic view thereof
- FIG. 5 (b) is an enlarged view of the hinge structure 120 of the rear parcel shelf of FIG. 5 (a).
- the rear parcel shelf 140 is supported by the mounting surface 132 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) while being supported by the shaft 126 at both ends thereof in a substantially horizontal state. .
- the rear parcel shelf 140 when the rear parcel shelf 140 is in a substantially horizontal state, only the first protrusion 128 of the shaft 126 and the first recess 144 of the bearing portion 142 are fitted. In the substantially horizontal state, the rear parcel shelf 140 is supported by the mounting surface 132 in addition to the shaft 126, so that the shaft 126 is not required to have a strong force to support the bearing portion 142.
- the first recess 144 When the rear end of the rear parcel shelf 140 is lifted in the circumferential direction R (see FIG. 5A) from the substantially horizontal state, the first recess 144 is retracted (deformed) with respect to the first protrusion 128 and is fitted. And the bearing 142 rotates with respect to the shaft 126. This is because, as described above, the first concave portion 144, the second concave portion 146, and the circular arc portion 148 are linear (band-shaped), easily deformed, and easily bend.
- FIG. 6 is a view showing a state in which the rear parcel shelf 140 stands up and the cargo compartment L is opened.
- FIG. 6A is a schematic view thereof
- FIG. 6B is an enlarged view of the hinge structure 120 of the rear parcel shelf of FIG. 6A.
- the rear parcel shelf 140 when the rear end of the rear parcel shelf 140 is continuously lifted and the rotation of the bearing 142 with respect to the shaft 126 reaches a predetermined angle, the rear parcel shelf 140 is Is maintained upright. As shown in FIG. 6B, the first protrusion 128 and the second recess 146, and the second protrusion 130 and the first recess 144 are engaged with each other.
- the predetermined angle is set within 90 ° from the substantially horizontal state because the headrest 162 (see FIG. 6A) of the rear seat of the vehicle exists in front.
- the load of the rear parcel shelf 140 must be supported by the shaft 126 and the bearing portion 142.
- the shaft 126 and the bearing portion 142 are fitted at only one place.
- the shaft 126 and the bearing portion 142 are fitted in two places.
- the strength is weaker with one place than when there are two fitting places. Therefore, when lifting the rear end in the circumferential direction R from the substantially horizontal state, the first protrusion 128 is used. And the first recess 144 are easily unfitted, which is preferable.
- the edge of the guide wall 156 is connected to the middle of the second recess 146.
- the entire inner side of the first recess 144 is in contact with the second gap 152, whereas the second recess 146 is only in contact with the second gap 152. Therefore, the second recess 146 is less likely to bend than the first recess 144.
- the first protrusion 128 is relatively difficult to be removed from the second recess 146, and can be prevented from falling down naturally due to gravity.
- the hinge structure 120 of the rear parcel shelf it is possible to maintain the standing state only by lifting the rear end of the rear parcel shelf 140. That is, the user can stand the rear parcel shelf 140 independently without interlocking with the back door 112 as in the prior art. Since additional parts such as a hanging strap for interlocking with the back door 112 are not required and the present invention can be carried out only by setting the simple shapes of the shaft 126 and the bearing portion 142, a significant effect can be achieved in terms of cost.
- FIG. 7 is a view showing another example of the hinge structure 120 of the rear parcel shelf according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG. 7, in the hinge structure 120a of the rear parcel shelf as another example, elasticity is imparted to the protrusion of the shaft 126a instead of the bearing portion 142a.
- the first protrusion 128a and the second protrusion 130a fitted in the first concave portion 144a or the second concave portion 146a of the bearing portion 142a are provided with the contact pieces 162a and 164a having a triangular tip and the contact pieces 162a and 164a. It comprises springs 166a and 168a to be supported.
- the arc portion 148a is formed along the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 126a. Accordingly, when the rear end of the rear parcel shelf 140a is lifted from a substantially horizontal state and the bearing portion 142a is rotated with respect to the shaft 126a, the contact piece 162a of the first protrusion 128a resists the biasing force of the spring 166a.
- the quarter lower trim 124 is provided with the shaft 126, and the rear parcel shelf 140 is provided with the bearing 142.
- the quarter lower trim 124 may be provided with the bearing 142 and the rear parcel shelf 140 may be provided with the shaft 126.
- the present invention can be used for a hinge structure of a rear parcel shelf that is attached to an upper portion of a vehicle luggage compartment so that the luggage compartment can be opened and closed.
