- the massage mechanism 20 includes a strength (front-rear) drive unit 52 (strength drive motor 52a) and a width drive unit 53 (width drive motor 53a).
- the treatment element 21 operates two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally.
- the treatment element 21 is in sliding contact with the inner surface of the cover portion 13b as the treatment element 21 projects forward. For this reason, the treatment element 21 can perform massage, such as a fist operation and a beating operation, on the treatment site such as the shoulder, back, and waist of the user via the cover portion 13b.
- the vertical drive unit 51, the strength (front / rear) drive unit 52, and the width drive unit 53 have drive motors 51a to 53a as drive sources, respectively, and the drive of each drive motor 51a to 53a is controlled.

- Each heater unit 23 is provided inside each of the pair of arms 22 in the width direction.
- the case members 31 and 32 that accommodate the PTC heaters 30 employ aluminum as a material having high thermal conductivity and high rigidity.
- the first case member 31 on the outer side in the width direction is fixed to the arm 22 using screws 33a and 33b.
- the inner surface of the first case member 31 on the inner side in the width direction is formed such that a contact portion 31 a at a position corresponding to the PTC heater 30 protrudes toward the inner side in the width direction. Is done.
- each PTC heater 30 is electrically connected to the control unit 61, and the control unit 61 determines the power supplied to each PTC heater 30.
- the second case member 32 includes a rubber pad 41 made of, for example, a silicon-based material having high thermal conductivity and high elasticity at a position corresponding to the PTC heater 30 on the inner surface on the outer side in the width direction.
- the PTC heater 30 is sandwiched between the contact portion 31 a of the first case member 31 and the rubber pad 41 of the second case member 32.
- the rubber pad 41 is configured to be elastically deformed according to the pressure applied to the PTC heater 30 when the PTC heater 30 is sandwiched using the rubber pad 41 and the contact portion 31a. That is, the PTC heater 30 can efficiently transfer heat to the second case member 32 side of the heater unit 23 by the pressure contact of the PTC heater 30 to the second case member 32.
- the abutting portion 32a of the second case member 32 has a convex curved shape toward the user side, and abuts on the user's body via the cover portion 13b. Further, the contact portion 32a is formed to extend outward in the width direction to approximately the thickness (length in the width direction) of the first case member 31. For this reason, by condensing the heat of the PTC heater 30 to the second case member 32 side of the heater unit 23, the diffusion of heat to other than the contact portion 32a is suppressed as much as possible. In addition, it is desirable that the portions other than the contact portion 32 a of the first case member 31 and the second case member 32 have a shape that closely follows the shape of the PTC heater 30.
- the thermistor 42 is fixed to the inner side in the width direction of the second case member 32 with screws 32b. As shown in FIG. 7, the thermistor 42 is electrically connected to the control unit 61. Therefore, the heat of the PTC heater 30 is transmitted to the second case member 32 that is the outer shell of the heater unit 23, and the thermistor 42 can monitor the temperature of the heat of the PTC heater 30.
- the second case member 32 is formed with an extending portion 32c that protrudes inward in the width direction.
- An engaging convex portion 32d having a substantially square shape is formed at the extending direction tip of the extending portion 32c.
- the cylindrical portion 25a of the fixing member 25 having a substantially cylindrical shape is fitted on the extended portion 32c of the second case member 32.
- a screw 46 is screwed into the screw hole 32e formed in the extending portion 32c.
- An engagement hole 25c having a substantially square shape is formed on the axial end portion side of the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 25a.
- the engaging hole 25c of the cylindrical portion 25a is formed on the engaging convex portion 32d of the extending portion 32c that protrudes inward in the width direction from the outer surface of the second case member 32. Engage.
- a kneading ball 24 that is rotatably supported by using two bearings 24a and 24b is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 25a of the fixing member 25.
- An enlarged diameter portion 25b having an outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical portion 25a is formed on the axial end portion side of the cylindrical portion 25a so as to protrude inward in the width direction from the kneading balls 24. .
- the kneading balls 24 have a radius that is slightly larger (for example, about 3 mm) than the distance from the axial center of the extending portion 32 c of the second case member 32 to the contact portion 32 a of the second case member 32. For this reason, when the kneading balls 24 come into contact with the user's body through the cover portion 13b, the kneading balls 24 are deformed by the contact pressure on the user's body, so that the second case member 32 formed of a rigid body.
- the abutting portion 32a is in light contact with the user and only heat is suitably transmitted to the user as much as possible.
- the massage machine 10 configured as described above, power is supplied to the PTC heater 30 from the external power source (not shown) via the control unit 61.
- the controller 61 monitors the temperature of the PTC heater 30 (second case member 32) and controls the temperature of the PTC heater 30 to about 55 ° C., for example.
- control unit 61 determines the surface temperature of the cover part 13b heated by the PTC heater 30 (second case member 32), the operating state of the PTC heater 30 and the treatment element 21, and the operation state of the PTC heater 30 and the treatment element 21. Can be inferred based on the unchanging time. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 5A, 5B, and 7, the control unit 61 is configured such that the PTC heater 30 is driven (ON), the vertical treatment position of the treatment element 21 is the upper side, and the width direction treatment position.
- the control unit 61 When the massage mechanism 20 is operated for a predetermined time T1 with a certain operation pattern (for example, fir tree operation) under the condition that the treatment position is on the strong side (front side) in the outer side and the strength direction, the control unit 61 The drive is switched from the on state to the stop (off) state. This is because when the operation state of the PTC heater 30 is the drive (on) state and the operation (position) of the treatment element 21 does not change for a predetermined time T1, the control unit 61 has a suitable surface temperature of the cover portion 13b. It is determined that the upper limit temperature A that is the set temperature has been exceeded, and the operation state of the PTC heater 30 is switched from the drive state to the stop state.
- a certain operation pattern for example, fir tree operation
- the massage machine 10 when the massage machine 10 operates for a predetermined time T1 with a constant operation pattern without changing the position of the treatment element 21, the surface temperature of the cover portion 13b becomes too high, and the heat of the PTC heater 30 is increased in the body of the user. Concentrate on some.
- the massage machine 10 lowers the temperature of the PTC heater 30 by switching the operation state of the PTC heater 30 from the drive state to the stop state, thereby realizing a more preferable thermal treatment.
- the controller 61 switches the operation state of the PTC heater 30 from the stop state to the drive state after the PTC heater 30 is stopped until the predetermined time T2 elapses after the predetermined time T1 elapses. repeat.
- the control unit 61 determines whether the surface temperature of the cover portion 13b is higher than the upper limit temperature A that is a set temperature. Analogy. When the control unit 61 analogizes that the surface temperature of the cover 13b is higher than the upper limit temperature A, the control unit 61 switches the operation state of the PTC heater 30 from the drive state to the stop state. Thus, the massage machine 10 estimates the surface temperature of the cover portion 13b based on the operating state of the treatment element 21 while the PTC heater 30 is being driven and the time during which the operating state of the PTC heater 30 is continued (predetermined time T1). By doing so, the surface temperature of the cover part 13b can be lowered to a suitable temperature. Thereby, the massage machine 10 can perform more suitable thermal treatment with respect to a user.
- the control unit 61 analogizes that the surface temperature of the cover unit 13b is higher than the upper limit temperature A.
- the control unit 61 changes the operating state of at least one of the PTC heater 30 and the treatment element 21.
- the massage machine 10 estimates the surface temperature of the cover portion 13b based on the operation state of the treatment element 21 while the PTC heater 30 is being driven and the time during which the operation state of the PTC heater 30 is maintained.

Abstract
