Description

液封防振装置
この発明は自動車のパワートレイン用マウント等に使用される液封防振装置に係り、特にキャビテーション現象により発生する異音を効果的に低減できるとともに高減衰を実現できるようにしたものに関する。
液封防振装置で構成された自動車のエンジンマウントでは、大入力後の振動方向反転によって主液室内が負圧になることにより作動液内に気泡が発生し、この気泡が破裂するキャビテーション現象により大きな異音が発生することがあるため、液室を主液室と副液室に区画するとともにオリフィス通路を設けた仕切部材にリリーフバルブを設け、これをキャビテーション現象を発生させるような大入力時に開いて作動液をリリーフさせることでキャビテーション現象の発生を阻止するようにしたものがある。
また、仕切部材を金属等の枠部材とこれに嵌合支持される弾性体で構成し、この弾性体の中央部を薄肉円形の可動膜として主液室の液圧変動を吸収させるとともに、この弾性体の外周部を厚肉に形成し、この外周部にリリーフバルブを一体に形成したものもある。
この場合、弾性体にはオリフィス通路へ渦巻いて流入する作動液により回転方向(図10中のA矢示方向)へ力を受け、弾性体が枠部材に対して回転すると、リリーフバルブがリリーフ通路とずれて開閉が不正確になり、キャビテーション現象の発生阻止が不確実になることがあるため、弾性体の外周部に厚肉の突出部を設け、これを枠部材に固定して回り止めとしたものも公知である(特許文献1参照)。
また、この場合、リリーフバルブは周方向へ等間隔で設けられ、それぞれの周方向長さ(周長)が、中心からの開き角で略60°、全周の略1/6程度に形成されている。

上記回り止め構造を設けた弾性体においては、リリーフバルブを弾性体の周方向へ90°間隔で4個設け、隣り合うリリーフバルブの間に回り止め用の突部を設けてあるが、この回り止め用の突部は外周部から部分的に突出して設けられるだけであって、あまり大きな力に抗して形状維持できず、大入力時に変形することがあり、確実な回り止めができない場合があった。確実な回り止めを実現するためには、この突部を大入力時にも変形しないように大型化して高剛性にすることが考えられるが、リリーフバルブはリリーフ時における作動液の大流量を確保するためにできるだけ大きくすることが必要であるから、剛性を高めるため回り止め用の突部を大きくすることには制約があった。
また、大入力時には弾性体が回転等してリリーフ通路に対してずれると、リリーフ通路を狭めてリリーフ時における副液室から主液室へ向かう作動液のリリーフ流量を減少させ、その結果、主液室内の負圧レベルを低減(負圧を正圧側へ戻すこと)しにくくなって、キャビテーション現象の発生を確実には阻止できなくなることがあった。組立時においてリリーフバルブの位置がずれても同様のことになった。
また、大振動入力時に中央部のリリーフバルブが副液室側へ大きく弾性変形するとき、弾性体の外周部のうち、リリーフバルブの長さ方向両端部をなす部分は枠部材へ固定されているが、この部分がリリーフバルブの長さ方向中間部側へ引っ張られて弾性変形し、このときの変形によって枠部材との間に間隙を生じ、液漏れすることによって減衰力が低下する場合があった。
さらに、リリーフバルブが大入力時に弾性変形したとき、一部が局部的な変形でシール性を低下させ、ここから液漏れすることにより減衰力が低下することも考えられる。
しかも、リリーフバルブを大きくした場合は、リリーフバルブ自体が大入力時に大きく弾性変形して主液室の液圧を必要以上に下げることにより減衰力を低下させることも考えられる。
そこで本願発明は、弾性体を用いた仕切部材において、弾性体を確実に回り止め可能にして正確に位置決めすることでキャビテーション現象の発生を確実に阻止できるようにすることを目的とし、併せて高減衰を実現できるようにすることも目的とする。
また、上記従来例のように、リリーフバルブを弾性体の外周厚肉部へ一体に形成すると、リリーフバルブの配置及び形成が容易になる。しかし、リリーフバルブは外周厚肉部の周方向へ円弧状をなして設けられるため、長さ方向両端部は弾性体の厚肉部と連続して曲げ剛性が高いため開閉時の抵抗になる。しかもリリーフバルブが4個設けられていることによりこのような開閉時の抵抗部位の数が多くなっている。仮に、このような抵抗を減少させてよりスムーズに開閉させることができれば、キャビテーション現象の抑制が必要となったとき、リリーフバルブがスムーズに開いて、作動液を副液室から主液室へ迅速かつ十分量供給してキャビテーション現象の発生を抑えることができる。したがって、上記開閉時の抵抗部位の数を削減することが求められる。
また、この種の液封防振装置においては、ゴムバネである可動膜により主液室の液圧変動を吸収し易くして低動バネにすることで、振動の伝達量を低減することも求められている。
しかし、可動膜は外周部のリリーフバルブに囲まれてその内側に形成されるため比較的小面積である程度高いバネにならざるを得ない。
一方、低動バネ化を実現するための一つの方法として、可動膜のバネを低くすることが考えられ、このためには、可動膜の主液室に臨む受圧面積を拡大するか膜厚を薄くすることが考えられる。
しかし、可動膜の面積は、防振装置全体をコンパクトにする基本的な要請のうえで外周部にリリーフバルブを形成する必要から比較的狭いものとされ、可動膜の面積を自由に拡大することができない。
そのうえ、可動膜の膜厚にも所定の限界があり、無制限に薄くすることは減衰力の大幅な低下を招くため、やはり自ずから限界がある。
その結果、外周部にリリーフバルブを設けた形式の防振装置においては、可動膜を低バネにして低動バネを実現することが難しい実情にあった。
そこで、本願は外周部にリリーフバルブを有する可動膜を用いた仕切部材において、リリーフバルブの開閉時における抵抗部位の数を削減してよりスムーズな開閉を実現すると同時に、装置全体の外周サイズを拡大させることなく可動膜の受圧面積を拡大して低バネにすることで低動バネを実現させることをもう一つの目的とする。
液封防振装置に係る本願発明の第1の態様によれば、液室を主液室と副液室に区画するとともにこれらを連通するオリフィス通路を設けた仕切部材を、弾性体とこの弾性体を嵌合支持する枠部材とを備えたものとし、弾性体の中央部を薄肉の可動膜としこの可動膜周囲を厚肉外周部とし、この厚肉外周部にリリーフバルブを一体に形成した液封防振装置において、
前記リリーフバルブは、前記弾性体の中心を挟んで対向配置された一対だけであり、
前記厚肉外周部のうち前記一対のリリーフバルブ間部分の外周を非円形形状の回り止め部にするとともに、
この回り止め部に対応する嵌合部を前記枠部材に設け、
前記弾性体を前記枠部材に嵌合し、前記回り止め部と前記嵌合部とを嵌合させた。
本願発明の第2の態様によれば、前記可動膜の一部を、前記一対のリリーフバルブ間に位置する前記厚肉外周部内へ入り込むようにし、前記可動膜を非円形形状にした。
本願発明の第3の態様によれば、前記回り止め部は、前記弾性体の厚肉外周部に対して外周部の対向位置を平行する直線状に形成した2面幅形状とした。
本願発明の第4の態様によれば、前記枠部材の前記リリーフバルブと対応する位置に円弧状のリリーフ穴を設けるとともに、このリリーフ穴の長さ方向中間部に前記リリーフバルブを支持する中間支持部を形成した。
本願発明の第5の態様によれば、前記弾性体と前記枠部材との嵌合部のうち、前記回り止め部とこれを嵌合する前記嵌合部の少なくとも一部をテーパー形状とした。
本願発明の第6の態様によれば、前記弾性体における前記リリーフバルブの長さ方向端部に隣接する部分であるコーナー部と、このコーナー部を嵌合する前記枠部材側に設けられたコーナー部とをそれぞれ前記テーパー形状にした。
本願発明の第7の態様によれば、前記枠部材に、前記リリーフバルブの前記副液室側部分を支持する中間支持部を形成した。
本願発明の第8の態様によれば、前記枠部材には前記オリフィス通路を構成する凹部を外側方が開放された状態で形成されるとともに、この凹部を外側方を閉じて前記オリフィス通路の外周部を閉じる部材を、前記液室及び仕切部材の各外側を覆う部材とした。
本願発明の第9の態様によれば、前記リリーフバルブは一つの想定円に沿う円弧状をなして前記弾性体の周方向へ、前記想定円の周長の略1/3程度の長さに形成される。
本願発明の第1の態様によれば、弾性体の厚肉外周部に周方向へ長い円弧状をなして設けられたリリーフバルブを対向配置された一対だけ設けたので、従来例のように4個設けられている場合と比べて、開閉しにくい長さ方向端部の数を半減させることができ、スムーズに開閉させることができるようになった。そのうえ、
弾性体の厚肉外周部のうち一対のリリーフバルブ間における部分全体を平面視非円形状に形成して回り止め部とし、この回り止め部に対応する嵌合部が設けられている枠部材に弾性体を嵌合させることで、一対のリリーフバルブ間における厚肉外周部全体をリリーフバルブの支持固定部としたので、リリーフバルブの支持固定部を高い支持剛性のあるものにできる。
このため、枠部材に対して弾性体を正確に位置決めして、リリーフ通路を一定に維持できるので、大入力時においてキャビテーション現象の発生条件となったときに所定のリリーフ流量を確保でき、キャビテーション現象の発生を確実に阻止できるようになる。
しかも、装置全体の外径寸法を拡大せずにコンパクト化が可能であり、かつ低動バネ化のために可動膜を不必要に薄くしないで済むため所定の減衰及び耐久性を維持できる。
本発明の第2の態様によれば、一対のリリーフバルブ間に位置する前記厚肉外周部内へ可動膜の一部が入り込むようにし、前記可動膜を非円形形状にしたので、可動膜を非円形の大型構造として受圧面積を拡大でき、外周部にリリーフバルブを設けたにもかかわらず、可動膜のバネを低くして低動バネ化を実現できる。
したがって、リリーフバルブをスムーズに開閉可能になるとともに、低動バネを同時に実現できるようになった。
本願発明の第3の態様によれば、回り止め部を、弾性体の厚肉外周部に対して外周部の対向位置を平行する直線状に形成した2面幅形状としたので、簡単でかつ確実な回り止め構造を得ることができる。
本願発明の第4の態様によれば、リリーフバルブを一対のみとして大型にしても、中間支持部によるリリーフバルブの長さ方向中間部を支持することで、リリーフバルブの長さ方向中間部が大きく変形することを阻止する。このため大型のリリーフバルブの実質的使用を可能にし、厚肉外周部における一対のリリーフバルブ間の間隔を十分に大きくすることができる。
本願発明の第5の態様によれば、回り止め部とこれを嵌合する嵌合部の少なくとも一部をテーパー形状としたので、回り止め部を嵌合部へ嵌合することにより、テーパー合わせで仕切部材を容易に組立てることができる。その結果、テーパー合わせ部のシール性を高めることができるので、大入力時に弾性体外周部へ大きな力が加わっても、テーパー合わせ部における弾性体外周部と枠部材の間は高液密状態を維持して、この部分からの液漏れを防ぐことができるため減衰力低下を阻止することができる。
本願発明の第6の態様によれば、弾性体と枠部材との嵌合部のうち、リリーフバルブの周方向端部に隣接する部分をテーパー形状としたので、テーパー合わせによって弾性体を枠部材へ正確に位置決めできる。その結果、リリーフ通路を正確に形成することができ、キャビテーション現象の発生を確実に阻止できる。しかも、テーパー合わせ部における高いシール性が得られるので、弾性変形させる力を受けやすいリリーフバルブ近傍のコーナー部であっても、テーパー合わせ部により液漏れを防止できる。
本願発明の第7の態様によれば、枠部材に、リリーフバルブの副液室側部分を支持する中間支持部を形成したので、大入力時におけるリリーフバルブの過大変形を阻止して減衰力の低下を阻止することができる。しかも、リリーフバルブを長いものとしても、同様に減衰力低下を阻止できるので、一つのリリーフバルブを長くして、全体におけるリリーフバルブの数を一対だけにして個数を削減できる。
本願発明の第8の態様によれば、枠部材にオリフィス通路を構成する凹部の外側方を閉じる部材を設けず、これを液室及び仕切部材の各外側を覆う部材としたので、枠部材から省略したオリフィス通路を構成する凹部の外側方を閉じる部材の分だけ、オリフィス通路108を外周側へ寄せて配置できる。このため、リリーフバルブをより大型化することができ、しかも拡大部を形成する厚肉外周部の部分を十分に大きく確保できる。
本願発明の第9の態様によれば、リリーフバルブをその円弧が沿う想定円の略1/3周程度に長くしたので、リリーフ時の作動液流量を大きくして効率的にキャビテーション現象の発生を抑えることができる。

以下、図面に基づいてパワートレイン用マウントの一例である自動車用エンジンマウントとして構成された液封防振装置の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。
図1は本発明の第一の実施形態に係る液封防振装置の中心軸線CLに沿う断面である。
このエンジンマウントは、振動源であるエンジン(図示省略)側へ取付けられる第1取付部材1と、振動受側である車体(同上)へ取付けられる第2取付部材2と、これらの間を連結するインシュレータ3とを備える。インシュレータ3は、ゴム等の公知の防振用弾性部材で構成され、振動に対する防振主体部材となる弾性体であり、主たる振動の入力方向Zより第1取付部材1へ入力した振動はまずインシュレータ3の弾性変形により吸収される。主たる振動の入力方向Zは、図示の中心線CLと平行である。なお、以下の説明において、図の上方からZ方向に沿って示す図を平面図(平面視図)ということにする。
インシュレータ3は、略円錐台形断面で内側にドーム状部4を備え、このドーム状部4により図1の下方へ開放された凹部が形成され、この凹部内に非圧縮性の作動液が封入されて主液室5をなしている。
主液室5は、仕切部材6により副液室7と区画され、オリフィス通路8により仕切部材6を隔てて副液室7と連通されている。副液室7は、ダイヤフラム10と仕切部材6の間に形成され、ダイヤフラム10を壁部の一部としている。
仕切部材6にはオリフィス通路8と主液室5の液圧変動を吸収する可動膜部(後述)及び大入力時に作動液を副液室7側から主液室5側へリリーフするためのリリーフバルブ(同)が設けられている。
オリフィス通路8は、例えば、10~11Hz程度のシェイク振動等からなる低周波数の振動に対して共振するよう設定されている減衰オリフィスである。
第2取付部材2は、円筒状の外筒金具11を備え、この外筒金具11を必要によりホルダ2aに嵌合し、又はブラケットを介して車体側へ取付けるようになっている。外筒金具11は、第2取付部材2の一部をなしている。
外筒金具11の内側には、インシュレータ3の延長部12が一体化され、延長部12は、仕切部材6の高さと同じ程度下方へ延出して外筒金具11の内面を一体に覆っている。延長部12と仕切部材6の外周部との間には、若干の間隙(図示略)を形成している。延長部12の上部で主液室5に臨む部分は、厚肉部の段差14をなし、ここで仕切部材6の外周端部を位置決めしている。
ダイヤフラム10は、本体部である薄肉部36と、その外周部に一体形成された厚肉部37を備え、厚肉部37には、固定用リング38がインサートされて一体化している。固定用リング38の外周面からは、厚肉部37の一部であるシール部38aが径方向外方へ突出している。固定用リング38は、シール部38aを介して外筒金具11の内側へ挿入されカシメにより固定されている。
そこで、エンジンマウントを組み立てるには、図1に示す第1取付部材1、第2取付部材2及びインシュレータ3を上下反転させた状態で組み立て、一体化した小組体を作る。
上下を反転させた状態において、仕切部材6は、外筒金具11の上方から内側へ入れて段差14にて位置決めし、続いてダイヤフラム10の固定用リング38を外筒金具11の内側に挿入した状態で仕切部材6の上面へ当接し、外筒金具11を絞り加工し、さらに外筒金具11の先端である下端部11aを内側へ折り曲げて折り曲げ部11bとして、固定用リング38を圧接するカシメにより、全体が組立一体化される。
次に、仕切部材6についてさらに説明する。
図2は枠部材16の平面図、図3は図2の3-3断面図、図4は弾性体の平面図、図5は図4の5-5断面図、図6は図4の6-6断面図、図7は図4の7-7断面図、図8は仕切部材の分解組立斜視図、図9は組立状態にある仕切部材の断面図(図1と同じ断面部位)、図10は弾性体を枠部材へ嵌合し、蓋部材を取付ける前の状態における平面図、図11は図10の11-11断面図、図12及び図13は作用説明のための断面図である。
なお、図13は図10の13-13断面に相当する部位を示す。
まず、仕切部材6の構成を主として図8に基づいて概略説明する。仕切部材6は、上下に分離される蓋部材15と枠部材16とで弾性体30を中央部に挟持した3部材から構成される。
蓋部材15は中央に中央上開口18が設けられ、その外周側に円弧状のリリーフ穴19が左右一対で設けられている。20はオリフィス通路の主液室側出入口である。
枠部材16の径方向外方には、オリフィス通路8(図1)を構成する円弧状溝22が外周に沿って円弧状に形成され、その長さは略3/4周程度の長さの円弧状に設けられている。
なお、図2中のA矢示方向は円弧状溝22にて主液室5から副液室7への作動液の流れる方向を示す。
円弧状溝22は、その内周壁をなす環状隔壁23で枠部材16の内周側部分と区画され、この環状隔壁23の内側は弾性体30が嵌合されるための嵌合空間をなす。
この嵌合空間の底部中央には中央下開口28が設けられ、その外周側に円弧状のリリーフ穴29が左右一対で設けられている。
弾性体30は中央部が薄肉の可動膜部31をなし、この可動膜部31を囲む外周側部分が可動膜部31よりも肉厚にされた厚肉外周部32をなす。
この厚肉外周部32には略V字溝状のリリーフバルブ33が形成されている。リリーフバルブ33は円弧状をなして周方向へ長く(略1/4周程度)形成され、弾性体30の中心を挟んで180°間隔で対向配置され、一対だけで設けられている。
弾性体30を枠部材16の嵌合空間へ嵌合し、その上に蓋部材15を被せると、可動膜部31の上下に中央上開口18と中央下開口28が臨み(図9・11参照)、リリーフバルブ33の上下にリリーフ穴19及び29が臨み(図7参照)、主液室側出入口20が円弧状溝22の長さ方向一端に臨む(図9参照)。
図7に示すように、環状隔壁23と弾性体30(リリーフバルブ33)の間にはリリーフ穴19及び29を連通するリリーフ通路39が形成される。リリーフバルブ33はこのリリーフ通路39を開閉し、通常時は閉じており、大入力時において主液室5が所定の負圧になるときのみ開き、副液室7側から主液室5側へ作動液をリリーフさせるようになっている。なお、円弧状溝22の長さ方向他端は枠部材16に設けられた副液室側出入口49(図2参照)が臨む。
以下、仕切部材の構成各部について詳細に説明する。
まず、図8及び図9等により蓋部材15を説明する。蓋部材15は平面視が円形で剛性を有する軽金属や硬質樹脂等の適宜材料で構成される略円板状の部材である。
蓋部材15の中央部は一段低くなった中央段部17をなし、ここに主液室5に連通する中央上開口18が形成され、十文字状の変形規制枠18aで区画されている。変形規制枠18aは可動膜部31の過大弾性変形時にその上面側に当接支持して過大弾性変形を規制する。中央段部17の外周側には、約90°の円弧状の長穴をなす一対のリリーフ穴19が略1/4周程度の長さで同一円周上に180°間隔で蓋部材15の中心を挟んで対向配置されている。
符号20は、蓋部材15に形成されるオリフィス通路8の主液室側出入口である。21aは、後述する位置決めピンが嵌合する位置決め穴であり、計3個形成され、誤組防止のため周方向へ不均等配置され、その配置はリリーフ穴19及び主液室側出入口20とずれた位置になっている。
次に、図8及び図2・3・9~11により枠部材16を説明する。図8及び図2に示すように、枠部材16は平面視が円形であり、剛性を有する軽金属や硬質樹脂等の適宜材料で構成される。
弾性体との嵌合空間の底部中央には副液室7と連通する中央下開口28が形成されている。28aは副液室側の変形規制枠であり、可動膜部31の過大弾性変形時にその下面側を当接支持して過大弾性変形を規制する。
環状隔壁23の内周面は部分的に平面状をなして対向する二面幅部46a、46bをなす。この二面幅部46a、46bは、平面視にて環状隔壁23の内周面の円形部23a、23bが内接する想定円(図2中に仮想線で示す)の円周の対向位置を平行に切り取った弦に相当する直線をなし、その長さは想定円の略1/4周円弧に相当する弦の長さ程度である。また、対面する表面は中心軸線と平行な垂直面をなしている。環状隔壁23の内周面は略90°間隔で平面状の二面幅部と円形部23a、23bとが交互に配置される。円形部23a、23bも想定円の略1/4周程度の長さがあり、円形部23aと同23b並びに二面幅部46a及び同46bはそれぞれ対向配置されている。
環状隔壁23内側における嵌合空間の底部は、環状隔壁23の円形部23a、23bにおける各内周面と所定の間隔をもった環状底部25aをなし、その内周部は突出高さが低い環状隔壁状の環状ストッパ部25bをなす。環状ストッパ部25bは中央下開口28に臨んでいる。
環状底部25aは全周に一定幅で形成され、環状隔壁23の円形部23a、23bにおける各内周面との間にはリリーフ穴29が形成されている。二面幅部46a、46bでは、各平面が環状底部25aの外周に接するかもしくは接近しており、この接点もしくは最接近部をPとしたとき、この点Pを挟む周方向両側へ向かって拡大するコーナー部51をなす。各コーナー部51は各二面幅部46a、46bの両側に形成されるため、全周では計4個形成される。その平面形状は概ね三角形状もしくは台形形状をなすが、一部はリリーフバルブ33の長さ方向端部にて円形部23a、23bの周方向端部と環状底部25aとの間へ入り込んでおり、この部分を含めると不規則な略台形状をなす。各コーナー部51の表面はテーパー面50をなし、環状底部25aに向かって下り傾斜の斜面になっている(図3参照)。
二面幅部46a、46bの形成により、環状隔壁23の径方向幅は変化し、各二面幅部46a、46bと円弧状溝22とに挟まれた上面は略三日月状の拡大部23cをなす。この拡大部23cの径方向幅は、円弧状溝22とリリーフ穴39に挟まれた円形部23a、23bにおける各上面の径方向幅を基準としたとき、この幅よりも広くなっている。
リリーフ穴39には、環状隔壁23の周方向である長手方向中間部に径方向へ横切る中間支持部52が形成されている。中間支持部52は環状底部25aの外周部と環状隔壁23の内周面とを連結するリブ状のものであり、リリーフ穴39は想定円の略1/4周と比較的長いため、この周囲部分を補強する。同時に、その上端面はテーパー面53をなし、リリーフバルブ33の斜面34を下方から支持する(図13参照)。これにより比較的長くなって中間部がだれやすくなるリリーフバルブ33のダレを防止するとともに、後述する大入力時の過大変形防止機能を有する。
図2・3・8等に示すように、中間支持部52は環状隔壁23の内周面に沿って中心軸線方向へ所定突出高さで一体に設けられる。テーパー面53の位置及び傾斜は、リリーフバルブ33の斜面34の形状及びその過大変形時の状態を考慮して適宜設定される。またその数も任意であり、リリーフバルブ33の長さ方向へ等間隔で2個設けられている。
図3に示すように、環状底部25aは環状隔壁23の内周面と環状ストッパ部25bとの間に環状凹部を形成し、ここに厚肉外周部32の下部32aを嵌合するようになっている。
環状ストッパ部25bは下部32aの内周側における位置決めをなし、可動膜部31の弾性変形により厚肉外周部32が径方向内方へ引っ張られたとき、下部32aが径方向内方へ引っ張り出されないように固定する。
なお、図7等に示すように、厚肉外周部32の上部は、蓋部材15の中央部における段差部17に位置決めされ、径方向内側への倒れを防止し、リリーフバルブ33の開閉精度向上に寄与している。下部32aは、テーパー状の環状隔壁に嵌合して位置決めされることにより、蓋部材15と枠部材16で上下から挟まれて固定される拘束部であり、可動膜部31の環状支持部をなしている。
図8・2及び11に示すように、対向する拡大部23cのうち一方には、誤組防止溝48が形成され、ここに弾性体30に設けられた誤組防止突起42(図11参照)が嵌合するようになっている。
図8中の符号21は、3本の位置決めピンであり、環状隔壁23の周囲上面から突設し、蓋部材15に形成された位置決め穴21aに挿通して先端をカシメることにより、図11に示すように、蓋部材15と枠部材16が位置決めされて一体化され、蓋部材15と枠部材16が相対回転不能になる。
次に、図8、図4~13により弾性体について説明する。
図4及び図8に示すように、弾性体30はゴム等の弾性に富む適宜弾性材料からなり、枠部材16の嵌合空間へ嵌合可能な形状及び寸法をなす。すなわち、環状隔壁23の内周と略同径の外周部が内接する想定円(図4中に仮想線で示す)の対向位置を平行に切り取った弦に相当する二面幅部46a、46bが一対で形成され、この一対の二面幅部40a、40b間の外周部32には一対のリリーフバルブ33が対向配置されている。
二面幅部40a、40bとリリーフバルブ33との境界部にはコーナー部45が周方向へ計4個設けられている。二面幅部40a、40bとリリーフバルブ33は長さ方向へ交互に配置され、リリーフバルブ33の長さ方向における長さは想定円の略1/4周であり、二面幅部40a、40bは想定円の略1/4円弧に相当する弦の長さ程度である。コーナー部45及び二面幅部40a、40bは本願発明における回り止め部である。
二面幅部40a、40bは、各対面する表面が中心軸線と平行な垂直面をなし、枠部材16へ嵌合したとき、枠部材16の二面幅部46a、46bと重なって回り止めをなすようになっている。二面幅部40a、40bとコーナー部45は本願発明における回り止め部を構成する。
図7に明らかなように、リリーフバルブ33の外周部側面が斜面34をなし、その上部は枠部材16へ嵌合したとき環状隔壁23の内周面へ密着するシール部36をなし、リリーフ通路39を閉塞する。
図3・5・8等に示すように、コーナー部45は枠部材16のコーナー部51へ重なる部分であり、外壁面がテーパー面44をなし、コーナー部51のテーパー面50に対応する傾斜と形状及び寸法を有している。コーナー部51及び二面幅部46a、46bは本願発明における嵌合部をなしている。
図6に示すように、コーナー部45はリリーフバルブ33が連続する厚肉部であり、リリーフバルブ33が主液室5の液圧を受けてその長さ方向中間部へ向かって引っ張られたとき、引っ張り方向へ倒れずにリリーフバルブ33の長さ方向端部を堅固に支持するための支持部をなしている。
なお、コーナー部45を含めて厚肉の二面幅部46a、46bが対向する一対のリリーフバルブ33の各長さ方向端部間を連結することにより、一対のリリーフバルブ33間に挟まれた部分全体が、外周長の略1/4に相当する程度の十分に長い厚肉部でリリーフバルブ33の各長さ方向端部間を支持するので、リリーフバルブ33に対する支持剛性を十分に高くすることができるとともに、確実な回り止め機能を発揮できる。
そこで、図10に示すように、弾性体30を枠部材16へ嵌合すると、4隅における各コーナー部45及び51のテーパー面44及び50をテーパー合わせすることにより、弾性体30を正確に位置決めして、リリーフバルブ33を正確な位置に設定できる。
このため、組立時においてテーパー合わせで仕切部材6を容易に組立てることができ、枠部材16に対して弾性体30を正確に位置決めして、リリーフ通路29を一定に維持できる。また、その後の使用時においても確実な回り止めによりリリーフ通路29を一定に維持できるので、大入力時においてキャビテーション現象の発生条件となったときに所定のリリーフ流量を確保でき、キャビテーション現象の発生を確実に阻止できるようになる。
なお、図10中のA矢示方向は円弧状溝22にて主液室5から副液室7への作動液の流れる方向を示し、主液室5内に臨む仕切部材6の表面側にはこの方向に沿って作動液の渦流が発生し、弾性体30を回転させようとする力が発生する。
また、各コーナー部45及び51のテーパー面44及び50をテーパー合わせによって、各コーナー部のシール性を高めることができるので、大入力時に弾性体外周部へ大きな力が加わっても、両コーナー部45及び51間のテーパー合わせ部における弾性体外周部と枠部材の間は高液密状態を維持して、この部分からの液漏れを防ぐことができるため減衰力低下を阻止することができる。
しかも、テーパー合わせ部における高いシール性が得られるので、弾性変形させる力を受けやすいリリーフバルブ33近傍のコーナー部45であっても、コーナー部51とのテーパー合わせ部により液漏れを防止できる。
なお、図9の拡大部に示すように、組立時の作業性を考慮して、弾性体30を枠部材16へ嵌合した状態では、コーナー部51の内壁面上部とコーナー部45の外壁面上部との間には若干の隙間55が設けられている。隙間55の近傍には、円弧状溝22の端部における拡大部22a(図2)の形成により、その近傍の環状隔壁23は薄肉部23dをなしており、このような薄肉部23d近傍部にて大入力時のおける厚肉外周部32の弾性変形によって、コーナー部45と51の合わせ部から隙間55を通して主液室側から副液室側へ液漏れする可能性があるところをコーナー部45と51のテーパー合わせ部による高シール性で液漏れを阻止できる。
また、図11に示すように、誤組防止溝48と誤組防止突起42を設けた二面幅部46b側においても、コーナー部45による位置決めと高シール性を同様に実現される。このとき、図の拡大部に示すように、誤組防止溝48と誤組防止突起42との間にも若干の隙間56が設けられているが、この隙間56からの液漏れも阻止される。この図において、誤組防止溝48を設けた環状隔壁23の上部も薄肉部23eをなしている。
なお、このような液漏れを防ぐため、図4に示すように、弾性体30の表面には複数のシール57a~57dが形成されている。
図8、図9において、弾性体30における可動膜部31の上面ないし下面には、同心円状の複数のリング状リブ31a及び31b、31cが一体的に突設しており、可動膜部31は、弾性変形するとき、上下の変形規制枠18a、28aに対して小さな接触面積で初期接触するようになっている。
図8・9及び11に示すように、弾性体30を枠部材16の嵌合空間へ嵌合し、誤組防止突起42を誤組防止溝48へ嵌合させると、弾性体30は誤組防止されながら、二面幅部46a、46bに対応する二面幅部40a、40bを正確に当接させて嵌合できる。そこで、各位置決めピン21を蓋部材15の位置決め穴21aへ挿通して位置決めしてから、蓋部材15を所定圧で弾性体30へ押しつけながら各位置決めピン21の先端をカシメれば、仕切部材6が一体化して組立てられるとともに、テーパー面44と50相互のテーパー合わせにより高いシール性が得られる。しかも弾性体30が正確に位置決めされるため、各リリーフ穴19及び29とリリーフバルブ33を確実かつ容易に整合することができる。
そのうえ、図10に示すように、高剛性の支持部である二面幅部46a、46bの各平面状をなす外側面が、同じく平面状をなす環状隔壁23の内周面に形成された二面幅部46a、46bに広い面積で当接するので、弾性体30はその外周部における二面幅部40a、40bを利用して大入力時であっても確実な回り止めが可能になる。
次に、図6~8・10・12・13により、リリーフバルブについて説明する。
図6・7に示すように、リリーフバルブ33は、厚肉外周部32の一部へ一体的に形成された凹部35を有し、この凹部35を囲む径方向外方の壁部が副液室7側から主液室5側へ向かって斜め上がりに外方へ開くように設けられた斜面34をなし、この斜面の先端部が厚肉で外表面側が環状隔壁23の内周面へ液密に密着するシール部36をなす。
斜面34はリリーフバルブ33の主体部であり、図7に示すように、通常時は斜面34がほとんど撓まず、リリーフ通路39の上方を覆うように位置してリリーフ通路39を閉じ、リリーフ通路39を介して作動液が副液室7側から主液室5側への作動液を流れ易くしている。リリーフバルブ33の主液室5側には、略V字断面をなして主液室5へ向かって開放された凹部35が形成されている。
図12は、リリーフバルブ33の動作を説明し、(a)はリリーフバルブ33が閉じた状態で大入力が入った状態を示し、斜面34は下方へ大きく撓んで膨出変形することにより大入力による液圧F1を受け止める。このときシール部36は環状隔壁23の内周面上を摺動して密着を維持し、下方の副液室7側から作動液を主液室5側へリリーフさせない。
(b)はさらに大きな液圧F2により、斜面34が過大に変形してシール部36の一部が不規則な変形で環状隔壁23から離れてシール性が損なわれ、作動液が漏れ出した状態を示す。この状態では作動液の漏出により、主液室5からオリフィス通路8を介して副液室7へ送り込まれるべき作動液の液量が減少するため減衰力が低下することになる。また、漏れが生じない状態でも、斜面34が過大変形すれば、主液室5の液圧を必要以上に吸収するため、やはり減衰力の低下を招く。本願発明は後述するように、中間支持部52によりこのような過大変形を防止することができる。
(c)は大入力後、振動方向が反転して主液室5の容積が拡大方向となり、主液室内が負圧になった状態を示す。この段階では、斜面34が主液室5側へ吸引され、同時に副液室7側の作動液体が下方から斜面34を押し上げるため、斜面34は先端側からめくられるよう変形し、やがてシール部36が環状隔壁23の内周面から離れて開弁し、作動液が、副液室7→リリーフ穴29→リリーフ通路39、リリーフ穴19→主液室5と流れて主液室5の液圧を高めるため、キャビテーション現象の発生を阻止できる。
このとき、斜面34は先端側が主液室5へ向かって傾斜しているから、この傾斜する斜面34に案内されて、作動液は先端側のシール部36へ集中して作用するので、リリーフバルブ33は主液室5が所定の負圧になるとスムーズに開くようになる。
 図13は中間支持部52の作用を説明する図であり、図12の (b)と同様に過大な入力により過大な液圧F2がかかった状態を示す。この状態において、本願発明はリリーフバルブ33の長さ方向中間部にて斜面34の下方を中間支持部52のテーパー面53が支持している。したがって、最も変形の大きくなる長さ方向中間部を支持することにより、斜面34の過大変形を阻止できる。このため、過大変形による漏れを防いで減衰力の低下を阻止できる。
しかも、大きなリリーフ量を確保するためリリーフ穴19・29の開口面積を増加させ、リリーフバルブ33を長くしても、その過大変形を容易かつ確実に阻止できる。また、過大変形による不必要な主液室5の液圧吸収が生じないため、この点でも減衰力の低下を阻止することができる。
なお、リリーフバルブ33の長さをリリーフバルブを周方向に延長した想定円の円周長の略1/4周程度に長くしたので、リリーフ時の作動液流量を大きくして効率的にキャビテーション現象の発生を抑えることができる。しかも、リリーフバルブ33は一対の2個だけで足りるため、従来のように4個設ける必要がなくなり、リリーフバルブ33の数を半減できるとともに、リリーフバルブ33長さ方向の両端部における固定部としての厚肉外周部32のボリュームを大きくして支持剛性を高くすることができ、液漏れを防止できる。
そのうえ、リリーフバルブ33における最も曲がりにくい部分は長さ方向端部におけるコーナー部45との接続部であるところ、リリーフバルブ33の数を半減することによりこのような曲がりにくい部分の数も半減できるので、相対的にリリーフバルブ33の作動性を向上させることができる。
なお、本願発明は上記実施形態に限定されず、種々な応用が可能であり、例えば、回り止め部は、二面幅によらず、左右のリリーフバルブ33間における厚肉外周部32の外周を多角形形状にして非円形部とすることで回り止め機能を発揮させるようにすることもできる。また、テーパー形状部は、回り止め部とこれを嵌合する枠部材側の部分の少なくとも一部又は全部に設けてもよい。
図14は本発明の第二の実施形態に係る液封防振装置の中心軸線CLに沿う断面(図15の14-14線断面にも相当する)である。中心軸線CLは後述する弾性体130の中心線でもある。
このエンジンマウントは、振動源であるエンジン(図示省略)側へ取付けられる第1取付部材101と、振動受側である車体(同上)へ取付けられる第2取付部材102と、これらの間を連結するインシュレータ103とを備える。インシュレータ103は、ゴム等の公知の防振用弾性部材で構成され、振動に対する防振主体部材となる弾性体であり、主たる振動の入力方向Zより第1取付部材101へ入力した振動はまずインシュレータ103の弾性変形により吸収される。主たる振動の入力方向Zは、図示の中心線CLと平行である。なお、以下の説明において、図の上方からZ方向に沿って示す図を平面図(平面視図)ということにする。
インシュレータ103は、略円錐台形断面で内側にドーム状部104を備え、このドーム状部104により図14の下方へ開放された凹部が形成され、この凹部内に非圧縮性の作動液が封入されて主液室105をなしている。
主液室105は、仕切部材106により副液室107と区画され、オリフィス通路108により仕切部材106を隔てて副液室107と連通されている。副液室107は、ダイヤフラム110と仕切部材106の間に形成され、ダイヤフラム110を壁部の一部としている。
仕切部材106にはオリフィス通路108と主液室105の液圧変動を吸収する可動膜部(後述)及び大入力時に作動液を副液室107側から主液室105側へリリーフするためのリリーフバルブ(同)が設けられている。
オリフィス通路108は、例えば、10~11Hz程度のシェイク振動等からなる低周波数の振動に対して共振するよう設定されている減衰オリフィスである。
第2取付部材102は、円筒状の外筒金具111を備え、この外筒金具111を必要により図示しないホルダに嵌合したり又はブラケットを介して車体側へ取付けるようになっている。外筒金具111は、第2取付部材102の一部をなしている。また、内側に一体化されているインシュレータ103の延長部112とともにオリフィス通路108の外周壁をもなしている。
インシュレータ103の延長部112は、仕切部材106の高さと同じ程度下方へ延出して外筒金具111の内面を一体に覆っている。延長部112は仕切部材106の外周部を覆うとともに、オリフィス通路108と外筒金具111との間をシールしている。延長部112の上部で主液室105に臨む部分は、厚肉部の段差114をなし、ここで仕切部材106の外周端部を位置決めしている。
ダイヤフラム110は、本体部である薄肉部110aと、その外周部に一体形成された厚肉の外周部110bを備え、この外周部110bには、固定用リング110cがインサートされて一体化している。固定用リング110cの外周面からは、外周部110bの一部であるシール部110dが径方向外方へ突出している。固定用リング110cは、シール部110dを介して外筒金具111の内側へ挿入されカシメにより固定されている。
次に、仕切部材106について詳細に説明する。図15は上枠部材を外した仕切部材の平面図、図16は図15の16-16線断面図(上枠部材も同じ断面部位にて併せて表示)、図17は仕切部材を各構成部材に分解して示す斜視図である。
まず、仕切部材106の構成を主として図17に基づいて概略説明する。仕切部材106は、上下に分離される上枠部材115と下枠部材116とで弾性体130を中央部に挟持した3部材から構成される。
上枠部材115は下枠部材116の蓋部材として機能し、中央に中央上開口118が設けられ、その外周側に円弧状のリリーフ穴119が左右一対で設けられている。120はオリフィス通路の主液室側開口である。符号121aは下枠部材116の位置決めピン121が嵌合する位置決め穴である。
下枠部材116の径方向外方には、オリフィス通路108(図14)を構成する凹部122が外周に沿って円弧状に形成され、その長さは略3/4周程度の長さの円弧状に設けられている。
なお、図15中のA矢示方向は凹部122にて主液室105から副液室107への作動液の流れる方向を示す。
凹部122は、その内周壁をなす環状隔壁123で下枠部材116の内周側部分と区画され、この環状隔壁123の内側は弾性体130が嵌合されるための嵌合空間127をなす。
この嵌合空間127の底部中央には中央下開口128が設けられ、その外周側に円弧状のリリーフ穴129が左右一対で設けられている。
弾性体130は中央部が薄肉の可動膜部131をなし、この可動膜部131を囲む外周側部分が可動膜部131よりも肉厚にされた厚肉外周部132をなす。
この厚肉外周部132には略V字溝状のリリーフバルブ133が形成されている。リリーフバルブ133は円弧状をなして周方向へ長く(開き角略120°、略1/3周長程度)形成され、弾性体130の中心を挟んで180°間隔で対向配置された一対で設けられている。このリリーフバルブ133は従来のように対向する一対を一組として計二組で設けられたものと異なり、一組だけで設けられている。
弾性体130を下枠部材116の嵌合空間127へ嵌合し、その上に上枠部材115を被せると、可動膜部131の上下に中央上開口118と中央下開口128が臨み(図16,17参照)、リリーフバルブ133の上下にリリーフ穴119及び129が臨み(図16,17参照)、主液室側開口120が凹部122の長さ方向一端に形成された拡大端部122aに臨む(図15参照)。
このとき厚肉外周部132の下部は、下枠部材116の環状溝150に嵌合して位置決めされ、さらに、上枠部材115と下枠部材116で上下から挟まれて固定される拘束部であり、可動膜部131の環状支持部をなしている。
図16に示すように、環状隔壁123と弾性体130(リリーフバルブ133)の間にはリリーフ穴119及び129を連通するリリーフ通路139が形成される。リリーフバルブ133はこのリリーフ通路139を開閉し、通常時は閉じており、大入力時において主液室105が所定の負圧になるときのみ開き、副液室107側から主液室105側へ作動液をリリーフさせるようになっている。なお、凹部122の長さ方向他端は下枠部材116に設けられた副液室側開口149(図15参照)が臨む。
また、凹部122の内側及び下方側は環状隔壁123及び環状隔壁123の下端から径方向外方へ張り出すフランジ116aで囲まれ、上方は上枠部材115の外周延出部115a(環状壁123より径方向外方へ延出する部分)で囲まれるが外側方は開放されている。この開放部は全体の組立時に外筒金具111及びその内側の延長部112で覆われてオリフィス通路108を形成する。延長部112の下端はフランジ116a上に当接し、予め延長部112の下端へ一体に突出形成されているシール突起がつぶされることにより当接部がシールされている。
延長部112の上下方向中間部には上枠部材115の外周延出部115aが当接される。外周延出部115aは延長部112の厚み分だけフランジ116aよりも小径になっている。
このようにすると、オリフィス通路108はその外周壁を下枠部材116ではなく、延長部112及び外筒金具111とし、これら延長部112及び外筒金具111をオリフィス通路108の構成材料に利用することができるので、オリフィス通路108の外壁を下枠部材116に設けなくても済むことになり、それだけオリフィス通路108を外周側へ寄せて配置できる。
以下、仕切部材の構成各部について詳細に説明する。まず、図18及び図19により上枠部材を説明する。図18は上枠部材の平面図、図19は図18の19-19線断面図である。
これらの図において、上枠部材115は平面視が円形で剛性を有する軽金属や硬質樹脂等の適宜材料で構成される略円板状の部材である。
上枠部材115の中央部は一段低くなった非円形の中央段部117をなし、ここに主液室105に連通する中央上開口118が形成され、放射状に複数設けられる変形規制枠118aで区画されている(それぞれ例示的に数個のみを符号指示する)。
変形規制枠118aは可動膜部131の過大弾性変形時にその上面側に当接支持して過大弾性変形を規制する。中央段部117の外周側には、約90°の円弧状の長穴をなす一対のリリーフ穴119が略1/3周程度の長さで同一円周上に180°間隔で上枠部材115の中心を挟んで対向配置されている。上枠部材115の中心には下方へ突出する中心固定凸部117aが形成されている。
符号120は、上枠部材115に形成されるオリフィス通路108の主液室側開口である。位置決め穴121aは計3個形成され、誤組防止のため周方向へ不均等配置され、その配置はリリーフ穴119及び主液室側開口120とずれた位置になっている。
C1はリリーフ穴119の外周側円弧と同じ曲率半径の大径想定円である。C2は中央段部117の外周部のうちリリーフ穴119に沿う部分である小径部117bと同じ曲率半径の小径想定円である。中央段部117の外周部のうち、左右のリリーフ穴119の隣接端部間に位置する部分は小径想定円C2より径方向外方へ張り出して大径想定円C1に接近する拡大部117cをなす。この拡大部117cが上枠部材115の中心を挟んで対向配置されることにより、中央段部117の外周部は小径想定円C2の一部を変形した非円形になっている。C3は、拡大部17cの外周の一部に接する想定円である。
なお、弾性体130は厚肉外周部132の外周側が環状隔壁123の内周側へ嵌合し、かつ内周側が上枠部材115における中央段部117の外周部に嵌合する。したがって、大径想定円C1は厚肉外周部132の外径及び環状隔壁123の内径(いずれも後述する二面幅部分以外の部分の径)と一致する。また小径想定円C2は厚肉外周部132の内径及び上枠部材115における中央段部117の外径(いずれも小径部分の径)と一致する。
なお、図16等に示すように、厚肉外周部132の上部は、上枠部材115の中央段部117外周部における段差部に位置決めされ、径方向内側への倒れを防止し、リリーフバルブ133の開閉精度向上に寄与している。
次に、弾性体130について説明する。図20は弾性体の平面図、図21は図20の21-21線断面図、図22は図20の22-22線断面図、図23は図20の23-23線断面図である。
図20~23に示すように、弾性体130はゴム等の弾性に富む適宜弾性材料からなり、下枠部材116の嵌合空間127(図17)へ嵌合可能な形状及び寸法をなす。
すなわち、厚肉外周部132は外周部が大径想定円C1に重なるとともに中心Oを挟んで対向配置される一対のバルブ部132aと、同じく中心Oを挟んで対向配置される一対の二面幅部136とを有する。
バルブ部132aの長さ方向両端にはコーナー部135が計4個設けられ、各コーナー部135は中心Oを挟んで対向配置されている。
二面幅部136は大径想定円C1のうちの対向位置を平行に切り取った形状に相当し、二面幅部136の外周側に形成される直線部は、大径想定円C1の弦に相当する部分であり、対向して一対で設けられ、それぞれが平行している。この二面幅部136を形成したことにより弾性体130は全体として非円形になっている。
すなわち、図20に示すように、大径想定円C1及び小径想定円C2の各半径をR1、R2とし、二面幅部136の中点Mにおける半径(Mと弾性体130の中心との距離)を半径R4とすれば、図21に示すように、切り欠き部134の形成により、R4がR1よりもΔRだけ短くなっている。R3は想定円C3の半径である。
可動膜部131は、厚肉外周部132との境界部である外周部の形状が中央段部117の外周部に対応する非円形形状になっている。すなわちバルブ部132aに沿う部分は小径部をなして小径想定円C2に重なるが、二面幅部136に沿う部分は拡大部137をなして小径想定円C2の径方向外方へ張り出し、二面幅部136内へ入り込むことにより、可動膜部131全体として非円形形状をなしている。
二面幅部136とバルブ部132aは長さ方向へ交互に配置され、各リリーフバルブ133の長さ方向における長さは大径想定円C1の略1/3周であり、二面幅部136の平面視にて直線状をなす外周部は大径想定円C1の略1/6円弧に相当する弦の長さ程度である。コーナー部135及び二面幅部136は本願発明における回り止め部である。
図21に示すように、二面幅部136は、各対面する表面が中心軸線と平行な垂直面をなしている。また、図21において径方向の肉厚として示される切り欠き部134の径方向幅は中点M部分が最も狭くなり、コーナー部135へ向かって次第に拡幅している。但し、中点M部分における二面幅部136の径方向幅d1は、バルブ部132aの径方向幅(リリーフバルブ133を除いた基部部分における径方向幅)d2よりも若干狭い程度である。
また、図22に示すように、コーナー部135の径方向幅d3は、二面幅部136の中点M部分の径方向幅d1及びバルブ部132aの径方向幅d2よりも数倍程度広くなっている。コーナー部135の外壁面下部はテーパー面135aをなしている。
図23に示すように、コーナー部135はバルブ132aが連続する厚肉部であり、リリーフバルブ133が主液室105の液圧を受けてその長さ方向中間部へ向かって引っ張られたとき、引っ張り方向へ倒れずにリリーフバルブ133の長さ方向端部を堅固に支持するための支持部をなしている。
なお、コーナー部135を含めて厚肉の二面幅部136が対向する一対のリリーフバルブ133の各長さ方向端部間を連結することにより、一対のリリーフバルブ133間に挟まれた部分全体が、外周長の略1/6に相当する程度の十分に長い厚肉部でリリーフバルブ133の各長さ方向端部間を支持するので、リリーフバルブ133に対する支持剛性を十分に高くすることができる。
弾性体130の表面には可動膜部131の外周に沿って非円形の環状シール138が形成されている。また、各コーナー部135の表面にも環状シール138から枝分かれ状に連続して径方向外方へ延びる径方向シール138aが形成されている。これらのシールにより、仕切部材106の組立時において可動膜部131とバルブ部132aの間を確実にシールしている。
弾性体130における可動膜部131の中央に凸部131aが上下へ突出して一体化に設けられ、この凸部131aを囲んで同心円上に複数の半球状の小突起131b(例示的に数個のみを符号指示する)が上面及び下面から一体的に突設されている。
小突起131bは一つの同心円上に等間隔で配設され、この同心円状の列が径方向へ複数列(本例では6列)設けられている。この小突起131bは可動膜部131が弾性変形するとき、上下の変形規制枠118a(図18)、128a(図24)に対して小さな接触面積で初期接触して打音を軽減するようになっている。
図21及び図23に示すように、リリーフバルブ133は、主液室105へ向かって開放された凹部140を有する略V字断面をなすようにバルブ部132aの一部へ一体的に形成さ、この凹部140を囲む径方向外方の壁部が副液室107側から主液室105側へ向かって斜め上がりに外方へ開くように設けられた斜面141をなし、この斜面141の先端部が厚肉で外表面側が環状隔壁123の内周面へ液密に密着するシール部142をなす。
次に、図15~17及び図24~26により下枠部材116を説明する。
図24は下枠部材116の平面図、図25は図24の25-25線断面図、図26は図24の26-26線断面図、図27は図24の27-27線断面図である。
図24に示すように、下枠部材116は外周の平面視が円形であり、剛性を有する軽金属や硬質樹脂等の適宜材料で構成される。外周の内側には環状隔壁123が設けられ、この環状隔壁123の内側に非円形の環状溝150を挟んで、同じく非円形の中央段部157が設けられている。
環状隔壁123の内周面は、対向位置されて大径想定円C1(半径R1)と重なる一対の円形部123a及び123bと、同じく対向位置された一対の二面幅部126を有する非円形をなす。円形部123a及び123bは、各内周が同じ大径想定円C1上にあるものの、外周は半径が異なり、オリフィス通路用の凹部122が形成されていない円形部123aの外周半径がR5、凹部122が形成されている円形部123bの外周半径がR6であり(R5>R6)、この半径の差分だけ円形部123aの径方向幅が他側の円形部123bの径方向幅よりも広い(図24参照)。
また、対向する二面幅部126が形成された部分124a及び124bにおける径方向幅も互いに異なり、凹部122の長さ方向一端に形成された拡大端部122aの形成された側の部分124aは細い略三日月状をなして径方向幅が狭く、反対側の副液室側開口149側の部分124bはより太い略三日月状をなして径方向幅が広くなっている。
環状隔壁123の内周面は、開き角略120°で略1/3周円弧の円形部123aと開き角略60°の二面幅部126とが交互に対向配置され、各一対設けられる。また、円形部123aの長さ方向両端にコーナー部125が計4個設けられ、各コーナー部125は中心Oを挟んで対向配置されている。
二面幅部126は部分的に平面状をなし、弾性体130を環状隔壁123の内側へ嵌合したとき、その二面幅部136が密に重なるようになっている。
環状溝150は弾性体130における厚肉外周部132の下部を嵌合支持する溝であり、上方へ開放され溝底部の平面視形状は厚肉外周部132の下端面の形状と一致し、中央段部157より低くなっている。
環状溝150の溝幅は周方向で変化し、環状隔壁123の円形部123a及び123bと中央段部157の小径部157bとの間隔は広く、二面幅部126と拡大部157cの間隔は狭くなっている。
中央段部157は可動膜部131の下面を間隔を持って支持する部分であり、外周の平面視形状は可動膜部131の外周形状と一致する。したがって、小径想定円C2と重なる小径部157bと、小径想定円C2より径方向外方へ突出する拡大部157cを備えた非円形をなす。
中央段部157は、環状隔壁123の内周面と環状溝150を挟んで内側に位置し、中央部に一段高くなった平面視非円形の段部をなし、中心部には上方へ突出する中心固定凸部157aが形成され、可動膜部131の中心に設けられている凸部131aへ初期当たりするようになっている。
中心固定凸部157aの周囲には主液室105に連通する中央下開口128が形成され、放射状に形成された複数の変形規制枠128aで区画されている(それぞれ例示的に数個のみを符号指示する)。変形規制枠128aは可動膜部131の過大弾性変形時にその下面側に当接支持して過大弾性変形を規制する。
図25及び図26に示すように、環状溝150の内周側は、小径部157b又は拡大部157cの立ち上がった外周壁により囲まれている。したがって、環状溝150に厚肉外周部132の下部を嵌合すると、小径部157b又は拡大部157cの立ち上がった外周壁は、それぞれ厚肉外周部132の内周側下部に対する位置決めをなし、可動膜部131の弾性変形により厚肉外周部132が径方向内方へ引っ張られたとき、厚肉外周部132の内周側下部が径方向内方へ引っ張り出されないように固定する。
環状溝150の底部で円形部123a及び123bに沿う部分には、各内周面との間にリリーフ穴129が形成されている。
リリーフ穴129は円形部123a及び123bにおける両端のコーナー部125間に形成される平面視で円弧状の長穴であり、長手方向中間部に径方向へ横切る中間支持部152が形成されている。
本実施形態の場合、中間支持部152は1つのリリーフ穴につき2個設けられ、リリーフ穴129を3つに区画している。これら2つの中間支持部152は等間隔に設けられず、互いに中央へ寄せて設けられ、2つの中間支持部152の間隔が、コーナー部125との間隔よりも短くなっており、これによりリリーフバルブ133の変形が大きくなりやすい中間部を重点的に支持できるようになっている。
中間支持部152は環状溝150の外周部と環状隔壁123の内周面とを連結するリブ状のものであり、リリーフ穴129の形成範囲は大径想定円C1の略1/3周と比較的長いため、この周囲部分を補強する。同時に、その上端面はテーパー面153をなし、リリーフバルブ133の斜面141を下方から支持する(図28(c)参照)。これにより比較的長くなって中間部がだれやすくなるリリーフバルブ133のダレを防止するとともに、後述する大入力時の過大変形防止機能を有する。
図26に示すように、中間支持部152は環状隔壁123の内周面に沿って中心軸線方向へ所定突出高さで一体に設けられる。テーパー面153の位置及び傾斜は、リリーフバルブ133の斜面141の形状及びその過大変形時の状態を考慮して適宜設定される。また、中間支持部152の数は1又は2以上と任意である。
各コーナー部125は、円形部123aの内周面の下部側が環状溝150の底部に向かって下り傾斜の斜面をなすテーパー面154になっている(図27参照)。このテーパー面154は弾性体130の厚肉外周部132に設けられたコーナー部135のテーパー面135a(図22)に対応し、組立時に密着した高シール構造をなすようになっている。両テーパー面154及び135aの傾斜は同一もしくは異なったものにすることができ、本実施形態ではコーナー部125におけるテーパー面154の方が急傾斜になっており、組立時に弾性体130のコーナー部135を下枠部材116のコーナー部125上へ密に嵌合して、両テーパー面135a及び154を密着させることができる。
次に、仕切部材106の組立を説明する。図17に示すように、弾性体130を下枠部材116の嵌合空間127へ嵌合し、厚肉外周部132の下部を環状溝150へ嵌合させるとともに、弾性体130の二面幅部136を環状隔壁123の二面幅部126に当接させる。
続いて、各位置決めピン121を上枠部材115の位置決め穴121aへ挿通し、上枠部材115を所定圧で弾性体130へ押しつけながら各位置決めピン121の先端をカシメれば、仕切部材106が一体化して組立てられる。
このとき、弾性体130はその外周部における二面幅部136が図15に示すように環状隔壁123の二面幅部126に当接しているため、弾性体130を正確に位置決めして、各リリーフ穴119及び129とリリーフバルブ133を正確にしかも確実かつ容易に整合させることができる。その結果、リリーフ通路139を一定に維持するとともに、リリーフバルブ133の正確な開閉を確保できる。
また、厚肉外周部132のコーナー部135にテーパー面135aを設けてあるので、これをコーナー部125のテーパー面154へテーパー合わせで密着させることで組立により高シール構造を得ることができる。
さらに、リリーフバルブ133は、環状隔壁123の円形部123a及び123bの各内側に位置し、図28の(c)に示すように、斜面141の先端部であるシール部142が円形部123bの内面へ液密に密着する。これにより、リリーフ通路139を閉塞し、リリーフ通路139を介して副液室107側から主液室105側へ向かう作動液の流れを阻止する(円形部123a側も同様)。
次に作用を説明する。
図28は、リリーフバルブ133の動作を説明し、(a)(b)は図16に相当する断面部位の拡大図である。(a)はリリーフバルブ133が閉じた状態で大入力が入った状態を示し、斜面141は下方へ大きく撓んで膨出変形することにより大入力による液圧F1を受け止める。このときシール部142は環状隔壁123の内周面上を摺動して密着を維持し、下方の副液室107側から作動液を主液室105側へリリーフさせない。
(b)は大入力後、振動方向が反転して主液室105の容積が拡大方向となり、主液室内が負圧になった状態を示す。この段階では、斜面141が主液室105側へ吸引され、同時に副液室107側の作動液体が下方からリリーフバルブ133の斜面141を押し上げるため、リリーフバルブ133は先端側からめくられるよう変形し、やがてシール部142が環状隔壁123の内周面から離れて開弁し、作動液が、副液室107→リリーフ穴129→リリーフ通路139、リリーフ穴119→主液室105と流れて主液室105の液圧を高めるため、キャビテーション現象の発生を阻止できる。
このとき、リリーフバルブ133の斜面141は先端側が主液室105へ向かって傾斜しているから、この傾斜する斜面141に案内されて、作動液は先端側のシール部142へ集中して作用するので、リリーフバルブ133は主液室105が所定の負圧になるとスムーズに開くようになる。
図28の(c)は中間支持部152の作用を説明するため中間支持部152部分における拡大断面であり、主液室105から過大な液圧F2がかかった状態を示す。この状態において、本願発明はリリーフバルブ133の長さ方向中間部にて斜面141の下方を中間支持部152のテーパー面153が支持している。したがって、最も変形の大きくなる長さ方向中間部を支持することにより、斜面141の過大変形を阻止でき、過大変形による漏れを防いで減衰力の低下を阻止できる。
このため、大入力時においてキャビテーション現象の発生条件となったときに所定のリリーフ流量を確保して、キャビテーション現象の発生を確実に阻止できるようになる。
しかも、リリーフバルブ133を大きくすることで開弁時のリリーフ量を大きくして液圧調整を迅速に行えるようになるので、リリーフバルブ133を一対のみにすることが可能になる。また、中間支持部152によるリリーフバルブ133の長さ方向中間部を支持することで、このような大型のリリーフバルブ133の実質的使用を可能にする。
さらに、大きなリリーフ量を確保するためリリーフ穴119・129の開口面積を増加させつつも、このように大きく開口されたリリーフ穴129に中間支持部152を設けることにより下枠部材116の強度を確保して、このような大きな開口面積を有する下枠部材116の使用を可能にする。
そのうえ、リリーフバルブ133を大径想定円C1の略1/3周程度に長くしたので、リリーフ時の作動液流量を大きくして効率的にキャビテーション現象の発生を抑えることができる。しかも、リリーフバルブ133は一対の2個だけで足りるため、従来のように4個設ける必要がなくなり、リリーフバルブ133の数を半減できるとともに、リリーフバルブ133の長さ方向の両端部における固定部としての厚肉外周部132のボリュームを大きくして支持剛性を高くすることができ、液漏れを防止できる。
また、リリーフバルブ133における最も曲がりにくい部分は長さ方向端部におけるコーナー部135との接続部であるところ、リリーフバルブ133の数を半減することによりこのような曲がりにくい部分の数も半減できるので、相対的にリリーフバルブ133の作動性を向上させることができる。
さらに、リリーフバルブ133を対向する一対だけ設けることで、図15及び20に示すように、リリーフバルブ133間における厚肉外周部132を比較的長く確保できる(本実施形態では開き角で略60°相当の幅を確保している)。その結果、外周厚肉部132のうち対向する一対のリリーフバルブ133に挟まれた部分を、十分に大きな空きスペース(リリーフバルブ133を形成しないスペース)として確保でき、ここに外周側を切り欠いて二面幅部136を形成するとともに、その内側部分に拡大部137の形成が可能になる。
このため、可動膜部131を非円形の大型構造として受圧面積を拡大できるので、外周部にリリーフバルブ133を設けたにもかかわらず、可動膜部131のバネを低くして低動バネ化を実現でき、しかも、装置全体の外径寸法を拡大せずにコンパクト化が可能であり、かつ低動バネ化のために可動膜部131を不必要に薄くしないで済むため所定の減衰及び耐久性を維持できる。
そのうえ、オリフィス通路108の外壁を下枠部材116に設けず、筒状金具111とインシュレータ103の延長部112を利用したので、それだけオリフィス通路108を外周側へ寄せて配置できることになる。このため、環状隔壁123の内周面を大径化して嵌合空間127を大きくし、ここへ嵌合する弾性体130を大型化できる。その結果、弾性体130に設けられるリリーフバルブ133をより大型化することができ、しかも拡大部137を形成する切り二面幅部136を十分な大きさに確保できる。
また、厚肉外周部132のうち拡大部137を設けた部分を二面幅部136とし、この二面幅部136を環状隔壁123の内周面に形成された二面幅部126に広い面積で当接させたので、オリフィス通路108をなす凹部122を通して図15中のA矢示方向に主液室105から副液室107へ作動液が流れることにより、主液室105内に作動液の渦流が発生し、この渦流で弾性体130を回転させようとする力が発生しても、確実な回り止めができる。このため、リリーフバルブ133とリリーフ穴129との相対位置関係が正確に維持されるのでリリーフ通路139を一定に維持できる。
なお、本願発明は上記実施形態に限定されず、種々な応用が可能であり、例えば、回り止め部は、二面幅によらず、左右のリリーフバルブ133間における厚肉外周部132の外周を多角形形状にして非円形部とすることで回り止め機能を発揮させるようにすることもできる。
図29はこのような二面幅を設けない例であり、図15におけるような二面幅部136を設けず、その代わりに、拡大部137の設けられている厚肉外周部132の一部を大径想定円C1に沿って円弧状の外周を有する円弧状拡大部132bをバルブ部132aに連続して設けたものである。このようにすれば、拡大部137をさらに外周側へ拡大して低バネ化することができる。また、仮に拡大部137を拡大しない場合は、円弧状拡大部132bの支持剛性を高めることができ、リリーフバルブ133及び可動膜部131の動作を安定化させることができる。
さらに、本願発明の液封防振装置は、エンジンマウントに限らず、種々なパワートレイン用マウントが適用可能である。

Claims (9)

  1. 液室を主液室と副液室に区画するとともにこれらを連通するオリフィス通路を設けた仕切部材を、弾性体とこの弾性体を嵌合支持する枠部材とを備えたものとし、弾性体の中央部を薄肉の可動膜としこの可動膜周囲をリング状の厚肉外周部とし、この厚肉外周部にリリーフバルブを一体に形成した液封防振装置において、
    前記リリーフバルブは、前記弾性体の中心を挟んで対向配置された一対だけであり、
    前記厚肉外周部のうち前記一対のリリーフバルブ間部分の外周を非円形形状の回り止め部にするとともに、
    この回り止め部に対応する嵌合部を前記枠部材に設け、
    前記弾性体を前記枠部材に嵌合し、前記回り止め部と前記嵌合部とを嵌合させたことを特徴とする液封防振装置。
  2. 前記可動膜の一部を、前記一対のリリーフバルブ間に位置する前記厚肉外周部内へ入り込むようにし、前記可動膜を非円形形状にしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液封防振装置。
  3. 前記回り止め部は、前記弾性体の厚肉外周部に対して外周部の対向位置を平行する直線状に形成した2面幅形状としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  4. 前記枠部材の前記リリーフバルブと対応する位置に円弧状のリリーフ穴を設けるとともに、このリリーフ穴の長さ方向中間部に前記リリーフバルブを支持する中間支持部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  5. 前記弾性体と枠部材との嵌合部のうち、前記回り止め部とその嵌合部の少なくとも一部をテーパー形状としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  6. 前記弾性体における前記リリーフバルブの長さ方向端部に隣接する部分であるコーナー部と、このコーナー部を嵌合する前記枠部材側に設けられたコーナー部とをそれぞれ前記テーパー形状にしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  7. 前記枠部材に、前記リリーフバルブの前記副液室側部分を支持する中間支持部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  8. 前記枠部材には前記オリフィス通路を構成する凹部を外側方が開放された状態で形成されるとともに、この凹部の外側方を閉じて前記オリフィス通路の外周部を閉じる部材とし、前記液室及び仕切部材の各外側を覆う部材としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
  9. 前記リリーフバルブは一つの想定円に沿う円弧状をなして前記弾性体の周方向へ、前記想定円の周長の略1/3程度の長さに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した液封防振装置。
