Abstract

歯磨き時に歯茎ないし頬の内面をもマッサージすることができるようにした歯ブラシを提供する。多数本の毛（１）が植設された植毛面（３）を有するヘッド部（５）と、該ヘッド部に連続して形成された把持部とを備えた歯ブラシにおいて、前記ヘッド部における一対の側面（１１ａ、１１ｂ）に歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージするための突起（１３）をそれぞれ備えさせた。前記植毛面には、多数本の毛を全体形状が植毛面から離れるにしたがい徐々に狭幅になるように正面視略テーパ状に植設する。

Description

歯ブラシ
　本発明は、歯ブラシに関するものであり、特に、歯磨き時に歯茎（歯肉）ないし頬の内面をもマッサージすることができるようにした歯ブラシに係るものである。
　歯ブラシとしては、多数本の毛が植設された植毛面を有するヘッド部と、該ヘッド部に連続して形成された把持部とを備えたもの（以下「従来の歯ブラシＡ」という。）が従来より一般に使用されている。
　特開２００８－１８８１３３号公報は、従来の歯ブラシＡにおいて、把持部における植毛面に連続する第一の面とこれに対向する第二の面とに、該把持部の長手方向に複数列の突起を一体的に形成してなる歯ブラシ（以下「従来の歯ブラシＢ」という。）を開示している。
　従来の歯ブラシＢにおける把持部に形成された突起は、歯ブラシの使用時に手の滑りを防止すると共に、使用者の手の平全体に接触することにより脳の緊張を緩和してリラックスさせるものである。

　本発明は、歯磨き時に歯茎ないし頬の内面をもマッサージすることができるようにした歯ブラシを提供しようとしてなされたものである。
上記課題を解決するために、本発明は、下記の歯ブラシを提供する。
（１）多数本の毛が植設された植毛面を有するヘッド部と、該ヘッド部に連続して形成された把持部とを備えた歯ブラシにおいて、
前記ヘッド部における一対の側面に歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージするための突起をそれぞれ備えさせたことを特徴とする歯ブラシ（請求項１）。
（２）前記植毛面には、多数本の毛を全体形状が植毛面から離れるにしたがい徐々に狭幅になるように正面視略テーパ状に植設する（請求項２）。
［請求項１の発明］
　植毛面を有するヘッド部における一対の側面に歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージするための突起をそれぞれ備えさせているため、使用者は植毛面に植設された毛の先端を歯に当てて歯を磨きながら、同時に該突起により歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージすることができる。歯茎は、その外側面のみならず内側面も、該突起によりマッサージすることができる。
突起により歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージすることにより、唾液腺が刺激され、唾液の分泌が促進される。
［請求項２の発明］
　ヘッド部の植毛面には多数本の毛を全体形状が植毛面から離れるにしたがい徐々に狭幅になるように正面視略テーパ状に植設しているため、植毛面に植設された毛の先端を歯に当てたときにヘッド部の突起は歯茎に容易に当接する。
図１は、本発明による歯ブラシの一例を示す平面図である。 図２は、同上歯ブラシにおけるヘッド部の断面図である。 図３は、本発明による歯ブラシの別の一例におけるヘッド部の断面図である。
　本発明による歯ブラシは、多数本の毛１が植設された植毛面３を有するヘッド部５と、該ヘッド部５に連続して形成された把持部７とを備えている点においては、上記従来の歯ブラシＡと同様である。
　ヘッド部５と把持部７とは、好ましくは、合成樹脂により一体的に形成する。ヘッド部５と把持部７とには、図２に示すように、例えば硬質樹脂等の芯材９を内設させてもよい。
　しかして、本発明においては、歯ブラシのヘッド部５における一対の側面（左右一対の側面）１１ａ、１１ｂに歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージするための柔軟な突起１３をそれぞれ備えさせる。
　図２に示す事例においては、突起１３はヘッド部５とは別体のものであり、例えばポリプロピレン、シリコン等により形成されている。
図２に示す事例においては、突起１３は凸状基部１５を備えており、該凸状基部１５をヘッド部５の側面１１ａ（１１ｂ）に備えさせた凹部１７に嵌着することにより、該突起１３をヘッド部５の側面１１ａ（１１ｂ）に固定している。
図３に示す事例においては、突起１３は歯ブラシのヘッド部５と一体的に形成されている。
突起１３は、ヘッド部５における一対の側面１１ａ、１１ｂにそれぞれ単数個又は複数個備えさせる。
　図２に示す事例においては、植毛面３には、多数本の毛１を正面視略テーパ状に植設している。すなわち、多数本の毛１は、図２の如く正面から見たときに、多数本の毛１の全体形状が植毛面３から離れるにしたがい徐々に狭幅になるように略テーパ状に形成されている。

Claims (2)

  1. 多数本の毛が植設された植毛面を有するヘッド部と、該ヘッド部に連続して形成された把持部とを備えた歯ブラシにおいて、
    前記ヘッド部における一対の側面に歯茎又は頬の内面をマッサージするための突起をそれぞれ備えさせたことを特徴とする歯ブラシ。
  2. 前記植毛面には、多数本の毛を全体形状が植毛面から離れるにしたがい徐々に狭幅になるように正面視略テーパ状に植設したことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の歯ブラシ。
