- the front and rear waist regions 11 and 12 are respectively formed with front and rear end edges 14 and 15 extending in the lateral direction X, and the front and rear end edges 14 and 15 form a waist opening.
- the diaper 10 is formed with front and rear side edges 16 and 17 positioned in the front and rear waist areas 11 and 12 and a crotch side edge 18 positioned in the crotch area 13 while extending in the longitudinal direction Y. An opening is formed.
- the chassis 20 includes an inner surface sheet 21 positioned on the body side and an outer surface sheet 22 positioned on the clothing side opposite to the body side, and a liquid absorbing structure is provided between the inner and outer surface sheets 21 and 22. 40 is formed.
- the liquid absorbing structure 40 includes a liquid absorbing core material 41 and a covering sheet 42 covering the liquid absorbing core material 41.
- the inner and outer sheets 21 and 22 are liquid permeable non-woven fabrics, the liquid absorbent core 41 is a mixture of fluff pulp and superabsorbent polymer particles, the covering sheet 42 is liquid diffusible tissue paper, etc. Conventional materials in the field can be used.
- a hook element 61 which is a joint member is attached.
- a loop element 62 that is detachably engaged with the hook element 61 and constitutes an engaging member is attached to the clothing side of the front waist region 11.
- the loop element 62 is formed from one front side edge 16 to the other front side edge 16 over substantially the entire lateral direction X of the front waist region 11, and is adapted to the size of the wearer's girth. The engagement position can be adjusted.
- a plurality of elastic waist members 81 are attached along the rear end edge 15 so as to be contracted in an extended state in the lateral direction X.
- a plurality of leg elastic members 82 extend in the longitudinal direction Y along the crotch side edge 18 between the inner and outer surface sheets 21 and 22 and located at least in the crotch region 13. It is attached so that it can shrink.
- the liquid absorbing structure 40 formed between the inner and outer surface sheets 21 and 22 is formed to extend from the crotch region 13 to the front and rear waist regions 11 and 12, and in the crotch region 13, its side edge is a longitudinal center line PP. It has a shape that is cut away toward the surface.
- Such a liquid absorption structure 40 is formed with a high absorption region, and in this high absorption region, the absorption capacity of the body fluid is larger than the remaining portion.
- the high absorption region has a front region 43 located on the front end edge 14 side and a rear region 44 located on the rear end edge 15 side, and the liquid absorbent core material 41 is stacked in the thickness direction. Formed by.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 each have a thickness direction dimension of 2 to 10 mm. If this dimension is made thinner than 2 mm, it is difficult to provide a difference from the remaining area, and if it is made thicker than 10 mm, the rigidity of the liquid-absorbing structure 40 becomes higher or the user feels uncomfortable. May occur. It is desirable that the dimensional difference in the thickness direction between the front and rear regions 43 and 44 and the remaining region is about 0.5 mm or more. Due to this dimensional difference, a difference in absorption capacity from the remaining region occurs, and the body fluid absorption capability in the high absorption region can be improved.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 which are high absorption regions, have a thickness of about 9 mm, and a body fluid absorption capacity of about 0.8 g / cm 2 .
- the remaining area has a thickness of about 5 mm and an absorption capacity of about 0.4 g / cm 2 .
- the absorption capacity of the high absorption region is about twice that of the remaining region.
- the front region 43 and the rear region 44 are separated from each other in the longitudinal direction Y, the front region 43 extends from the front waist region 11 toward the crotch region 13, and the rear region 44 extends from the rear waist region 12 toward the crotch region 13.
- the high absorption region is not formed between the front and rear regions 43 and 44.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 are formed to be separated from each other in the horizontal direction X, and are formed substantially symmetrically with respect to the vertical center line PP. That is, the front and rear regions 43 and 44 do not form a high absorption region in the vicinity of the vertical center line PP.
- a liquid absorbent pad capable of absorbing bodily fluids such as urine (not shown) can be attached to the body side of the inner sheet 21 near the vertical center line PP.
- a pair of leakage prevention cuffs 30 is formed on the body side of the inner sheet 21.
- the leakage prevention cuff 30 is spaced apart in the horizontal direction X and extends from the front end edge 14 to the rear end edge 15 over substantially the entire region in the vertical direction Y.
- the leakage prevention cuff 30 as described above is located on the outer side in the lateral direction X, and a base side edge 31 joined to the inner sheet 21 and a free side edge that can be separated from the liquid absorbing structure 40 via the inner sheet 21.
- Part 32 A cuff elastic member 33 that extends in the longitudinal direction Y is attached to the free side edge 32.
- the base side edge portion 31 of the leakage prevention cuff 30 is joined to the inner surface sheet 21 via the bonding means 34, and the bonding means 34 extends almost from the front edge 14 toward the rear edge 15 in the vertical direction Y. Is formed.
- the base edge portion 31 refers to a portion joined to the inner surface sheet 21, and a part of the base side edge portion 31 overlaps with the front and rear regions 43 and 44 of the liquid absorbing structure 40.
- the boundary between the base side edge 31 and the free side edge 32 overlaps with the front and rear regions 43 and 44.
- the base edge 31 and the front and rear regions 43 and 44 do not overlap in this portion.
- the leak-proof cuff 30 as described above is contracted by the cuff elastic member 33, and by this contraction, the free side edge portion 32 is separated from the inner sheet 21 so as to stand up toward the wearer ( (See FIGS. 3 and 4).
- the leakage prevention cuff 30 forms a protective wall against leakage in the lateral direction X. That is, even if the excreted urine moves in the lateral direction X, the excretion of the diaper 10 from the lateral direction X can be prevented by being blocked by the free side edge 32 of the separated leakage prevention cuff 30. .
- the urine whose movement in the lateral direction X is restricted by the free side edge 32 reaches the liquid absorption structure 40 located below the free side edge 32 through the free side edge 32.
- the free side edge portion 32 stands up toward the body side with a boundary 35 between the inner side sheet 21 and the base side edge portion 31 joined as a starting point. Therefore, urine travels along the free side edge portion 32 and moves to the boundary 35 with the base side edge portion 31 that is the standing point. Since the base side edge portion 31 and the front and rear regions 43 and 44 of the liquid absorbing structure 40 are formed to overlap each other, that is, the boundary 35 between the base side edge portion 31 and the free side edge portion 32 is the front and rear region 43.
- the diaper 10 is folded and packaged before shipment. At this time, depending on the size of the diaper, the diaper is folded in three in the vertical direction Y with the body side inward through folding lines 71 and 72 extending in the horizontal direction X.
- the folding lines 71 and 72 are creased and the folding lines 71 and 72 may be separated from the body when worn. If the inner surface sheet 21 and the liquid absorbing structure 40 are separated from the body, a gap is formed in the separated portion, and urine may move through the gap to cause urine leakage or rash.
- the folding lines 71 and 72 are formed so as to overlap the front and rear regions 43 and 44 of the liquid absorbing structure 10.
- the thick front and rear regions 43 and 44 can be brought into close contact with each other to form a gap. Can be prevented. Therefore, urine excreted by these front and rear regions 43 and 44 is absorbed, and urine leakage and rash can be suppressed.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 can be made more rigid than the remaining regions by making them thicker in those regions. When the rigidity is increased in this way, the folding lines 71 and 72 are less likely to cause creases and the separation from the body can be suppressed.
- the folding lines 71 and 72 are not necessarily limited to such a configuration, and can be appropriately changed according to the size of the diaper 10 and the folding method.
- the folding lines 71 and 72 and the front and rear regions 43 and 44, etc. The positional relationship with can also be changed.
- the folding curves 71 and 72 are often formed between the front and rear waist regions 11 and 12 and the crotch region 13, respectively. Therefore, by forming the front and rear regions 43 and 44 continuously from the crotch region 13 to the front and rear waist regions 11 and 12, the folding lines 71 and 72 and the front and rear regions 43 and 44 can be matched.
- the folding line is a single line and is often formed near the horizontal center line QQ. Therefore, the region is preferably formed in the vicinity of the horizontal center line QQ.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 may be continuous in the vertical direction Y without being divided.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 that are thicker than the remaining region are not formed in the vicinity of the vertical center line PP, a depression is formed in the vicinity of the vertical center line PP.
- a liquid-absorbing pad (not shown) is separately used for the diaper 10, the liquid-absorbing pad can be stored in the recess, so that the liquid-absorbing pad can be easily attached.
- the absorbent pad By making the absorbent pad removable, it can be replaced many times, but it is also possible to attach the absorbent pad to an appropriate position simply by placing the absorbent pad in accordance with this recess.
- the front and rear regions 43 and 44 as described above can be formed by stacking the liquid absorbent core material 41 in the thickness direction. In this way, since it is only necessary to stack the liquid-absorbing core material 41, a special device or the like for forming the front and rear regions 43 and 44 is not required, and an increase in cost can be suppressed. Moreover, since the amount of the liquid-absorbent core material 41 can be reduced in portions other than the front and rear regions 43 and 44, the cost can be reduced accordingly.
- the high-absorption region is formed by stacking the liquid-absorbent core material 41 in the thickness direction.
- the absorption capacity of the body fluid only needs to be larger than the remaining portion. It is also conceivable to increase the mass per unit area of the material 41.
- the mass per unit area of the high absorption region is preferably 100 to 550 g / m 2 . This is because when the mass is smaller than 100 g / m 2 , the difference from the remaining region is decreased, and when the mass is larger than 550 g / m 2 , the rigidity is increased and the wearing feeling may be deteriorated. Further, the difference in mass per unit area between the high absorption region and the remaining region is preferably 25 g / m 2 .
- the liquid-absorbent core material is dense compared with the remaining area
- the hook element and the loop element for example, “Velcro (registered trademark)” or “Magic tape (registered trademark)” commonly used in the technical field of the wearing article according to the present invention can be used.
- the engaging member is not limited to the hook element and the loop element, and the front and rear waist regions may be connected using other means.
- the waist elastic member 81 and the leg elastic member 82 are formed of a material having rubber elasticity such as a plurality of yarns, strands, tapes, etc., and the waist opening and the leg opening fit the wearer due to the contraction force of these materials. To prevent leakage.
- the waist elastic member 81 and the leg elastic member 82 can be made of a material having rubber elasticity such as natural rubber or synthetic rubber such as polyurethane. Instead of these materials, a fiber nonwoven fabric or plastic sheet having rubber elasticity is used. Can be used, and a general elastic member can be used. As the bonding means, conventional techniques such as an adhesive, thermal or ultrasonic bond can be used.
- a so-called open-type diaper is described as an example, but a pull-on / pants-type diaper can also be used.
- the liquid-absorbing pad is further attached to the body side of the diaper, the present invention is not limited to this, and the liquid-absorbing pad may not be used.
