Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la fabrication de propylène, le procédé comprenant : le fractionnement d'un courant d'hydrocarbure comprenant des n-butènes, de l'isobutylène et des paraffines en au moins deux fractions comprenant une fraction C4 légère comprenant de l'isobutylène et une fraction C4 lourde comprenant des n-butènes et des paraffines ; la mise en contact d'au moins une partie de la fraction C4 lourde avec un catalyseur de métathèse pour former un produit de métathèse comprenant de l'éthylène, du propylène, des oléfines en C4+ et des paraffines ; le fractionnement du produit de métathèse en au moins quatre fractions comprenant une fraction d'éthylène, une fraction de propylène, une fraction C4 comprenant des oléfines en C4 et des paraffines et une fraction C5+ ; le craquage de la fraction C4 légère et de la fraction C5+ pour produire un produit de craquage comprenant de l'éthylène, du propylène et des hydrocarbures plus lourds ; et le fractionnement du produit de craquage en au moins deux fractions comprenant une fraction légère comprenant du propylène et une fraction comprenant des hydrocarbures en C5 à C6.
