- both determination conditions are merged. Let it be one judgment condition. Specifically, in both judgment conditions to be compared, the numerical range of each element is “(1) included in any numerical range”, “(2) overlapped (wrapped)”, “(3) If all the elements satisfy the conditions (1) to (3), it is determined that the two determination conditions are merged.
- the content of determination 3 is compared with the content of determination 2 for element A, and “3AH ⁇ 2AH ⁇ 0” and “2AL It is determined that the condition (1) is satisfied when either “ ⁇ 3AL ⁇ 0” or “3AH ⁇ 2AH ⁇ 0” and “2AL ⁇ 3AL ⁇ 0” is satisfied.
- the content of determination 3 for element A is compared with the content of determination 2, and “3AL ⁇ 2AL ⁇ 3AH” or If any of “3AL ⁇ 2AH ⁇ 3AH” is satisfied, it is determined that the condition (2) is satisfied.
- the comparison is performed in order from the rear of the table (from the largest determination number). For example, in the case illustrated in FIG. 11, determination 3 and determination 2 are compared, and then determination 2 and determination 1 are compared. In both determination conditions that satisfy the conditions (1) to (3) for all elements, the upper and lower limits are merged for each element to update the determination condition with the smaller determination number, and the determination number is The larger judgment condition is deleted from the table. The comparison is repeated until the determination condition with the smallest determination number is set as the comparison target.
- the fusion of the upper limit and the lower limit for each element is performed according to the following procedure. For example, when determining 2 and determining 3 are merged, the largest one of the upper and lower limits of element A, 2AH, 2AL, 3AH, and 3AL, is set as a new upper limit, and the smallest is set as a new lower limit. Then, the upper limit and the lower limit are merged for all elements to make a new decision 2, and the decision 3 is deleted.
- the determination unit 13e is a processing unit that performs a process of determining the denomination of the coin using the main determination frame 14a, the auxiliary determination frame 14b, and the exclusion determination frame 14c for each denomination registered in the storage unit.
- the determination process performed by the determination unit 13e will be described with reference to FIG.
- FIG. 12 is a flowchart illustrating a processing procedure of the determination unit 13e. Note that, prior to step S101 in the figure, it is assumed that a rough denomination is determined using a diameter sensor, a wide determination frame, or the like.
- the determination unit 13e selects a main determination frame 14a corresponding to a predetermined denomination (step S101), and whether the sensor value of the coin to be determined satisfies all elements of the main determination frame 14a. It is determined whether or not (step S102). If all elements of the main determination frame 14a are satisfied (step S102, Yes), it is determined whether all elements of the exclusion determination frame 14c associated with the main determination frame 14a are satisfied (step S104).
- step S104 If at least one element of the exclusion determination frame 14b is not satisfied (step S104, No), the denomination of the coin to be determined is a denomination corresponding to the main determination frame 14a selected in step S101. (Step S106) and the process is terminated. In addition, when the determination condition of step S104 is satisfied (step S104, Yes), the process of step S105 is performed.
- step S102 determines whether or not all elements of the auxiliary determination frame 14b associated with the main determination frame 14a are satisfied.
- step S103 it is determined whether or not all elements of the auxiliary determination frame 14b associated with the main determination frame 14a are satisfied.
- step S105 determines whether or not there is a main determination frame 14a of another denomination. If there is a frame 14a (step S105, Yes), the processing after step S101 is repeated using the new denomination main determination frame 14a. In addition, when the determination condition of step S105 is not satisfied (step S105, No), the coin to be determined is determined to be a fake coin (step S107), and the process ends.
- step S107 since a rough denomination is determined in advance using a diameter sensor, a wide determination frame, or the like prior to step S101, it is determined as a fake coin in step S107. If the seed has not been determined in advance, it may be determined in step S107 that there is no corresponding denomination.
- the storage unit 14 is a storage unit configured by a storage device such as a RAM (Random Access Memory) or an HDD (Hard Disk Drive), and a main determination frame 14a for each denomination and a main determination frame 14a for a predetermined denomination.
- a storage device such as a RAM (Random Access Memory) or an HDD (Hard Disk Drive)
- main determination frame 14a for each denomination and a main determination frame 14a for a predetermined denomination are stored in the auxiliary determination frame 14b and the exclusion determination frame 14c. Since the main determination frame 14a has already been described with reference to FIG. 5 and the like, and the auxiliary determination frame 14b and the exclusion determination frame 14c have already been described with reference to FIG. 8, description thereof is omitted here.
- the main determination frame registration unit ensures that the numerical range corresponding to the data of at least one identification element does not overlap with the numerical range corresponding to the same identification element in other denominations.
- the main judgment frame with each numerical range adjusted is registered for each denomination, and the auxiliary judgment frame registration unit does not fall under the main judgment frame, but for each identification element for a coin that should be identified as a specific denomination
- Auxiliary judgment frame that is a numerical range is registered for each denomination
- the exclusion judgment frame registration unit corresponds to the main judgment frame or the auxiliary judgment frame, but for each identification element for a coin that should be determined not to be a specific denomination
- An exclusion determination frame that is a numerical range is registered for each denomination, and the determination unit is a coin that corresponds to either the main determination frame or the auxiliary determination frame and that does not correspond to the exclusion determination frame is a coin corresponding to the main determination frame To identify the coin identification device You configure.
- an auxiliary judgment frame for passing coins that should be excluded by the main judgment frame but should not be excluded, and a coin that should not be excluded by the main judgment frame or the auxiliary judgment frame, but should be originally excluded By using the exclusion judgment frame, it is possible to deal with coins of various countries and flexibly deal with additions and fluctuations of identification objects.
- the coin discriminating apparatus and the coin discriminating method according to the present invention are useful for discriminating the denomination and authenticity of coins, and particularly when dealing with coins of various countries, Suitable when you want to respond flexibly to fluctuations.
