本願は、2007年12月28日に日本に出願された特願2007-339765号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
前記水処理手段が、前記水処理手段に関する情報を保持する情報保持手段を有し、前記情報保持手段の情報を読み取る読み取り機構と前記情報に基づいて前記予め設定された値を自動的に設定する切換機構を備えることが好ましい。

本実施形態の水処理装置は、原水吐出口21を有する一般水栓20と、止水栓1から一般水栓20に原水を供給する給水路aを備えた原水部A、および浄水吐出口11を有する専用水栓10と、浄水手段(水処理手段)を備えた浄水器7と、前記給水路aの途中から前記浄水器7に原水を供給する給水管5と、浄水器7から専用水栓10へ浄水(処理水)を送る吐水管6を備えた浄水部Bとから概略構成されている。図中符号2は給水路aの途中に設けられた分岐栓を示す。
本実施形態において、一般水栓20および専用水栓10は流し台30上に取り付けられており、その他の部材は流し台30の下に収容されている。給水管5および吐水管6は屈撓曲自在に構成されており、配管取り回し上の便宜が図られている。
浄水手段としては、有害成分を除去する本来の濾過機能の他、水を美味しくしたり健康上でよいとされる成分を放出したりするようにしてもよい。
また専用水栓10には、浄水手段の交換時期を知らせるカートリッジ交換サイン(報知手段)13が設けられており、前記カートリッジ交換サイン13は制御装置4と電気的に接続されている。
本実施形態において、吐水・止水スイッチ12がリセットスイッチ14を兼ねており、吐水/止水の切り替えのための操作とリセット操作とでは押下時間が異なるように設定されている。すなわち前記スイッチを短い時間押下すると吐水と止水とを切り替えるための電気信号が出力され、所定の時間より長く押下するとリセット操作のための電気信号が出力されるようになっている。
なおリセットスイッチ14は本実施形態のものに限らず、例えば制御装置4、浄水器7、浄水手段の着脱部、通水経路となる吐水管6や給水管5に設けることもできる。また、リセットスイッチ14は押下するものではなく、浄水手段の着脱に関連して自動的にリセット操作がなされるものであってもよい。
本実施形態の水処理装置では、浄水吐出口11からの吐水積算時間(開閉弁の開放時間の積算値)が規定時間以上になった場合と、水処理手段の使用開始からの経過時間(使用期間)が規定時間以上になった場合に、浄水手段が寿命になったと判定される。本実施形態において、浄水器7に供給される原水の流量は定流量弁3によって一定に制御されているため、浄水吐出口11からの吐水積算時間は、浄水器7で処理された水量(処理量)の積算値(積算流量)に比例する。
そして本実施形態では、前記吐水積算時間が規定時間を超えた場合と、前記使用期間が規定時間を超えた場合の少なくとも一方を生じたときに、カートリッジ交換サイン13によって報知されるようになっている。
一方、使用期間の管理を行うには、新しい浄水手段を取り付けた時点をスタートと規定し、その時から1年経過した時点を浄水手段の寿命と判定する。
したがって、例えば吐水積算時間が4000時間に達していなくても、使用期間が1年に達した場合にはカートリッジ交換サイン13が点灯するようになっている。
さらに、切換機構は、浄水手段に、ICタグなどの情報チップ若しくは磁気式又は電波式センサなどの情報保持手段を付設し、この情報保持手段が有する浄水手段の情報を読み取るセンサなどの読み取り機構を、前記浄水手段制御装置4、給水管5、吐水管6、または専用水栓10などに設けることにより、当該情報に応じて、寿命に達したと判定するためのしきい値を自動的に設定する切換機構であってもよい。
なお、本様態の簡易版として、浄水手段にマグネットを取付るとともに、前記浄水手段制御装置4、給水管5、吐水管6、または専用水栓10のいずれかに、このマグネットの有無を判別できる手段を設けることで、自動で寿命に達したと判定するためのしきい値の設定を変更することも可能である。例えば、寿命の異なる2種の浄水手段の一方にはマグネットを取付けず、他方にマグネットを取付けておき、マグネットの有無の判別結果に応じて寿命に対応する値の設定が自動的に変更されるように構成することができる。
Claims (2)
- 水処理手段と、
前記水処理手段に原水を供給する給水管と、
前記水処理手段を経た処理水が吐出される吐出口を有する水栓と、
前記水処理手段に供給される原水の流量を一定に制御する定流量弁と、
前記給水管を開閉する開閉弁と、
前記開閉弁の開閉を制御することによって前記吐出口からの吐水と止水とを切り替え操作する操作手段と、
前記開閉弁の開放時間の積算値、および水処理手段の使用開始からの経過時間をそれぞれ管理する管理手段と、
前記開放時間の積算値または前記経過時間のいずれかが、それぞれ予め設定された値を超えたことを報知する報知手段を備えることを特徴とする水処理装置。 - 前記水処理手段は、前記水処理手段に関する情報を保持する情報保持手段を有し、前記情報保持手段の情報を読み取る読み取り機構と前記情報に基づいて前記予め設定された値を自動的に設定する切換機構を備える請求項1に記載の水処理装置。
