Abstract

 空気調和装置(1)は、二酸化炭素を冷媒として使用しており、二段圧縮式の圧縮機構(2)と、熱源側熱交換器(4)と、膨張機構(5)と、利用側熱交換器(6)と、前段側の圧縮要素(2c)から吐出された冷媒を後段側の圧縮要素(2d)に吸入させるための中間冷媒管(8)に設けられ前段側の圧縮要素から吐出されて後段側の圧縮要素に吸入される冷媒の冷却器として機能する中間冷却器(7)とを備えている。そして、中間冷却器(7)は、熱源側熱交換器(4)と一体化された熱交換器を構成しており、この熱交換器の上部に配置されている。
