Abstract

 空気調和装置(1)は、二酸化炭素を冷媒として使用しており、二段圧縮式の圧縮機構(2)と、熱源側熱交換器(4)と、膨張機構(5)と、利用側熱交換器(6)と、前段側の圧縮要素から吐出された冷媒を後段側の圧縮要素に吸入させるための中間冷媒管(8)に設けられ前段側の圧縮要素から吐出されて後段側の圧縮要素に吸入される冷媒の冷却器として機能する中間冷却器(7)と、中間冷媒管(8)の前段側の圧縮要素と中間冷却器(7)の入口との間の部分に設けられ、前段側の圧縮要素から吐出される冷媒に同伴する冷凍機油を冷媒から分離して圧縮機構(2)の吸入側に戻す中間油分離機構(16)とを有している。
