Abstract

　不要応答の特定周波数における挿入損失の最大量を低減した弾性境界波デバイスを提供する。圧電性を有する圧電基板（１６）と、圧電基板上に形成された櫛形電極（１４ａ、１４ｂ）と、圧電基板上に櫛形電極を覆うように形成された第１媒質（１７）と、第１媒質上に形成された第２媒質（１８）とを備え、櫛形電極は、複数の電極指（１３ａ、１３ｂ）と、複数の電極指の端部を接続するバスバー（１２ａ）とを有する。第１媒質上に形成された第３媒質（１９ａ）を備え、第２媒質および第３媒質は、第１媒質に接しており、第１媒質、第２媒質および第３媒質は、それぞれ異なる材料で構成されており、電極指の長手方向に垂直な断面における弾性境界波の伝搬経路の長さに対する第３媒質が形成された部分の長さの割合が、電極指の長手方向において異なる。
