Abstract

本発明は,カーカス折返し部の圧縮歪をさらに抑制して,特にカーカス折返し部の疲労破断を抑制することによって,ビード部の耐久性を向上させた空気入りタイヤを提供することを目的とする。 タイヤのカーカスにおける,カーカス本体部とカーカス折返し部との間のコード間距離は,該ビードコアからタイヤ径方向外側へ向かって漸減して,一旦極小値となり,次いで漸増して極大値となり,さらに,該タイヤを適用リムに装着して規定の内圧を充填した際における,該適用リムのベースラインからのフランジ高さHfを1としたとき,同ベースラインから前記極小値および極大値となるカーカス本体部の部位までの高さHAおよびHBと,タイヤ最大高さHTとが夫々,HT≧8.00,1.26≦HA≦2.14,2.43≦HB≦3.75を満足し,かつコード間距離の極小値a およびコード間距離の極大値bの比b/aが1.00を超える範囲とする。
