Abstract

パティキュレートフィルタの再生効率を向上でき且つ耐久性に優れる排ガス浄化装置を提供すること。 内燃機関から排出される排ガスを浄化する排ガス浄化装置は、排ガスが流通するガス流路と、このガス流路に設けられ且つ多数の細孔が形成されたDPF17と、を備える。排ガスに接触するDPF17の導入面171は、その略全体が、細孔よりも小さい孔径を有する微細孔が形成された微多孔体18で被覆されている。この微多孔体18は、アルカリ土類金属元素、遷移金属元素、第12族元素、及び第13族元素からなる群より選ばれる1種以上の元素を含有する酸素貯蔵・放出性酸化物からなる担体と、この担体に担持されAgを含有する触媒と、を備える。
