Abstract

 本発明は、ガラス板の曲げ成形装置及び曲げ成形方法に係り、適切なタイミングで適切な量だけ搬送ローラの上下動を行うことで、高い精度でガラス板の曲げ成形を実現することにある。  加熱されたガラス板を搬送方向に搬送するための複数の搬送ローラからなるローラコンベアと、ガラス板を搬送方向に沿って曲げ成形すべく、各搬送ローラそれぞれを搬送方向に直交する方向に上下動させることにより複数の搬送ローラで形成される搬送面に所定の湾曲面を形成させると共に、該湾曲面をガラス板の搬送方向への移動に伴って搬送方向へ移動させるサーボモータと、を備えるガラス板の曲げ成形装置において、光電センサ及びパルスジェネレータを用いてローラコンベア上におけるガラス板の位置情報を検出し、その検出される位置情報に基づいて、搬送面にガラス板の位置に応じた所定の湾曲面が形成されるようにサーボモータによる各搬送ローラそれぞれの上下動を制御する。
