Abstract

　車両用操舵装置（１）は、伝達比（θ２／θ１）を変更可能な伝達比可変機構（５）と、操舵補助力付与機構（１９）とを備える。伝達比可変機構（５）は、第１の軸線（Ａ）の回りに回転可能な入力部材（２０）及び出力部材（２２）と、各部材（２０，２２）を差動回転可能に連結する内輪（３９１）と、この内輪（３９１）を、転動体３９３を介して回転可能に支持する外輪（３９２）と、外輪（３９２）を回転駆動する伝達比可変機構用電動モータ（２３）とを備える。内輪（３９１）及び外輪（３９２）の中心軸線である第２の軸線（Ｂ）が、第１の軸線（Ａ）に対して傾斜している。モータ（２３）は、外輪（３９２）を同行回転可能に保持するとともに、第１の軸線（Ａ）の回りに回転可能なロータ（２３１）を有し、ロータ（２３１）は、外輪（３９２）を取り囲む筒状をなしている。
