Abstract

　エンジン用燃料としてエタノール燃料を貯留する車両用燃料タンク（３）の上壁（３ａ）に給油口（１５ａ）と，この給油口（１５ａ）から燃料タンク（３）内に延びる給油案内筒（１５）とを設けた，車両用燃料タンクの給油口装置において，給油案内筒（１５）に，その下方開口部を覆って燃料の流通を許容する一方，火炎の侵入を防ぐ，金網製で該給油案内筒（１５）より大径のフレイムアレスタ（２１）を取り付けた。これにより、フレイムアレスタを使用して，給油口から燃料タンク内への火の侵入を抑止するのみならず，給油時には，フレイムアレスタにおける燃料及び空気の交換をスムーズにさせて迅速な給油を可能にする。
