Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for controlling a dual-clutch transmission with two drivetrains which can be coupled by means of a respective clutch to an internal combustion engine.
- Such dual clutch transmissions are used in motor vehicles as a power shift transmission.
- a load switching operation can take place since each partial drive train can be operated independently of the second partial drive train.
- the clutch may be closed and a gear engaged with which the vehicle is operated. During this operation, a gear with another gear ratio can be engaged in the second sub-powertrain.
- the clutch of the currently operated partial drive train is opened while the clutch of the newly activated partial drive train is closed.
- both clutches transmit a moment to their sub-drive trains.
- the sum of the transmittable torques at both clutches must not substantially exceed the torque to be transmitted (e.g., the engine torque).
- the object of the present invention is the improvement of methods for controlling dual-clutch transmissions.
- an improved safety of driving behavior is to be achieved and the double gear to be protected from damage.
- the object is achieved by a method for controlling a dual-clutch transmission with at least two sub-drive trains, each of which can be coupled by means of a clutch to an internal combustion engine and in which a circuit of the double transmission by the torque-transmitting clutch of the actively operated part of the drive train is opened while the clutch of the non-actively operated partial drive train is closed when gear is already engaged, and a device for determining or estimating the reduction of the maximum possible 39.00- Anlagenrciss current road conditions due to brake slip at least one drive wheel and a device for determining the torque transmitted via the clutch, wherein with a reduction of the lateral force coefficient below a predetermined value and in the case of the clutches one moment is transmitted, the torque is reduced at least one clutch.
- the control for the proposed method is carried out either by means of a central control unit, which can take over as the central unit, the control operations of the vehicle as a whole, by means of a transmission control unit, which includes the control of transmission and clutches, or as a clutch control unit, only the control of the two clutches takes over.
- a central control unit which can take over as the central unit, the control operations of the vehicle as a whole
- a transmission control unit which includes the control of transmission and clutches, or as a clutch control unit, only the control of the two clutches takes over.
- Any other combination with another controller, such as the control unit for detecting and determining the wheel speeds may also be beneficial.
- the transport of data and supply power via separate supply and control lines between the communicating ECUs and their peripheral devices such as sensors and actuators can be done.
- data can be transmitted via a data bus, for example CAN.
- the method is preferably carried out as a program routine stored in a control unit, wherein this can be embedded in a complex program in the form of program code and called.
- the invocation of the routine may currently occur during an intersection circuit and / or in periodically recurring cycles to ensure that in the selected time windows in which the routine is invoked, both clutches do not transmit a moment resulting in a distortion or lockup of the circuit Driveline leads to causing a Budapestsabrisses on the drive wheels.
- Such irregularities can also occur independently of a currently performed overlap circuit, in particular if one of the clutches jammed, for example, because the actuating actuator - this is the actuating kinematics including the drive to understand - jams or fails.
- all kinematic systems can serve with a drive and an actuator kinematics displacing the drive into a linear movement for disengaging and engaging the clutch by axial loading of actuators of the clutch, such as levers or disc springs.
- the drive can be an electric motor, for example, a rotary motion in initiates the actuation kinematics, which converts them into a linear movement, a hydraulic pump or a pressure accumulator filled with pressure medium which can exert pressure on a hydraulic cylinder, a pneumatic compressed air reservoir or an electromagnetically operated actuator.
- the assignment of the torque to be transmitted via the clutches takes place in an advantageous manner by means of a correlation of the torque to be transmitted as a function of the path traveled on the actuating elements of the clutch, wherein a reference point is determined via a so-called touch point determination, in which only a negligible torque is transmitted , Starting from this reference point, the torque can be determined via the clutch travel, wherein the correlation parameters can be stored in the control unit and can be updated depending on the operation of the vehicle, for example by taking into account short-term changes such as temperature effects and long-term changes such as wear or aging.
- the detection of the path via sensors, such as incremental displacement sensors, which are calibrated at a defined path position and detect a relative path by counting increments.
- sensors such as incremental displacement sensors, which are calibrated at a defined path position and detect a relative path by counting increments.
- control elements of an electronically commutated electric motor used as a drive wherein in the kinematics of the rotational movement of the electric motor is assigned to the axially covered path of the actuating elements of the clutch.
- the torque transmitted via the two clutches is determined and in the case of a reduction of the instantaneous cornering force coefficient below a limit relative to the maximum possible cornering force coefficient on at least one drive wheel and at instantaneous road conditions Transmission of moment via both clutches the clutch torque of one or both clutches withdrawn.
- the withdrawal of the moment can be effected as a function of the reduction of the cornering force coefficient, so that the greater the reduction, the more reduced the momentum - A - is considered a lesser reduction.
- the selection of the coupling at which the moment is withdrawn may depend on different parameters and their combination. For example, the opening state of a clutch can be used.
- a nearly closed clutch can be reduced by a small clutch more torque in a given time, as on a little closed clutch, whereby a faster elimination of the critical condition can be achieved.
- the present at the time of occurrence of the loss of the maximum cornering force slip on both clutches can be used and working with less slip clutch can be opened further, as this usually transmits less momentum and thus turn a faster response to the loss of maximum possible cornering force is possible.
- the reaction to a change in the clutch path can be used as a parameter. It may happen that a clutch or its actuating kinematics is blocked, so that this clutch can be changed slowly or not at all in its engaged state. By detecting and evaluating the change or rate of change of the clutch travel can therefore be decided, which clutch can be used faster or at all for reversing a reduced maximum cornering force.
- An evaluation of the reduction of the maximum possible cornering force coefficient can be done on a drive wheel or both or in the case of all-wheel drive on all wheels, the wheels can be evaluated individually, for each wheel, a reduction of the cornering force coefficient can be calculated, calculated and evaluated. Alternatively, a sum value may be formed of a plurality of wheels, which is used as a basis for the evaluation for activating the routine for reducing the torque transmitted via the clutches.
- the reduction of the maximum possible cornering force coefficient itself is advantageously determined from the brake slip, the quotient of the differential speed and the vehicle speed.
- the differential speed is composed of the difference between the vehicle speed and the wheel peripheral speed. Based on this definition, the brake slip is 0 if wheel circum- catch speed and vehicle speed are identical.
- the cornering force coefficient in this case is maximum at given road conditions. With completely blocking wheels, which corresponds to a brake slip of 100%, the driving speed is greater than 0 and the wheel speed is 0, that is, the drive wheel is stationary.
- the so-called lateral force coefficient which takes into account the cornering force of a drive wheel, can be used to initiate the routine for reducing a torque transmitted via both clutches. This is particularly advantageous if the vehicle already has a sensor system for determining the vehicle lateral dynamics, for example due to the installation of a device for increasing the driving stability (eg ESP).
- the speed variables can be detected and calculated by means of sensors, for example wheel speed sensors.
- Values for a brake slip of 20 to 50%, preferably 30%, may be advantageous as a value for the activation of a withdrawal of the moment to be transmitted via both clutches.
- the vehicle speed can either be via a special sensor to determine the speed over ground (eg radar, GPS signal analysis and others).
- the vehicle speed may be estimated at the beginning of an overlap by the wheel peripheral speed and may be assumed to be approximately constant during the short overlap phase. This corresponds to the assumption of the extreme case that the vehicle slips, for example, with ice slipperiness without reducing the vehicle speed. This eliminates the need for a vehicle speed sensor.
- the vehicle speed at the beginning of the overlap may be estimated by the wheel peripheral speed and estimated during the overlap with a maximum deceleration on ice.
- the state of a reduced maximum lateral force coefficient can alternatively also be determined on the basis of the wheel speed gradients.
- the wheel speed gradient is evaluated, and assuming a too large gradient with a negative sign, a state with a reduced maximum lateral force coefficient (partially blocked wheels) is assumed.
- the response of the electronic stabilization program may additionally or alternatively be used as a value for initiating the routine of reducing the torque transmitted across both clutches, for example, the signal present on the CAN bus may be evaluated.
- the proposed routine for monitoring the reduction of the maximum possible lateral force coefficient and reducing the torque of the clutches when both Couplings torque transmission is a so-called robust monitoring method that is relatively insensitive to, for example due to wire breaks or defects caused sensor failures due to the low quality requirements for measuring signals with a limited number of input variables.
- the activation of the routine can be made dependent on whether a gear is engaged in both partial drive trains.
- An additional or alternative constraint may be a limit vehicle speed value below which the routine will not be started, that is, the torque of one or both clutches will not be reduced because a loss of cornering power at lower speeds will have less impact on the stability of the vehicle. For example, such a limit between 5 and 25 km / h can be specified.
- Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a routine for carrying out the proposed
- FIG. 2 shows a diagram for illustrating the instantaneous sequence during a
- Figure 1 shows a routine 1 with a starting point 2 with a subsequent branch 3, in which it is decided whether a liability of the driven wheels of a motor vehicle is reduced. For example, it is checked whether the brake slip BS greater than a predetermined Value S, for example greater than 30%, or the gradient of the wheel speed exceeds a maximum value in the negative direction (deceleration). If the condition is not met, the routine 1 is terminated in the end point 4. If the adhesion is reduced, that is, for example, the brake slip BS is greater than the predetermined value S, it is determined in the branch 5 whether both clutches transmit a moment. The determination of the brake slip can be carried out by means of an evaluation of the wheel speed sensors or from the speed of a transmission output shaft by the speed of the transmission output shaft and the vehicle speed are correlated with each other.
- a predetermined Value S for example greater than 30%
- the detection of the clutch position can be effected by means of a respective arranged on the clutch actuation path measuring device.
- the moments M (K1), M (K2) transmitted via the couplings are determined from the coupling positions.
- the coupling positions can also be evaluated directly in order to assess torque transmission via both clutches. If torque is transmitted only via a clutch, the reduced adhesion does not result from a transmission blockage and the routine 1 is terminated again. If both clutches are active, that is, if both clutches transmit a moment M (K1), M (K1) greater than the assigned limit torques M1, M2 the routine continues in block 6.
- the manipulated variables S (K1), S (K2) are assigned new setpoint values S1, S2.
- the adjusted manipulated variables S (K1), S (K2) different values of the transmitted moments M (K1), M (K2), the size of the brake slip BS or other variables of one or both clutches can be assigned a control value S1 or S2 may also be unchanged, whereby the torque transmitted via this clutch is not changed.
- routine 1 it is checked in the branch 7 whether the newly specified target values S1, S2 have been set within a predetermined tolerance window. If this is the case, the routine is terminated, this is not the case, is switched to an emergency operation NB in block 8.
- emergency mode fault control measures are carried out. For example, actuators can be operated with higher force, inlaid gears can be forcibly designed, an engine intervention on the internal combustion engine can be carried out, automated brakes can be actuated and / or the ESP can be activated.
- FIG. 2 shows a two-part diagram, in which the speed is plotted against time in the upper part and over time the lower positions of the two clutches.
- the lower hatched part shows parking positions of the clutches in which no moment is transmitted. Shown is the monitoring of an overlapping circuit, in which the coupling positions K1, K2 of the two clutches are shown in the lower part diagram over time for an undisturbed sequence with solid lines.
- the clutches can be closed up to a maximum torque MM transmittable via the clutch. In the diagram shown, the first clutch is closed at the beginning until the maximum torque MM and the second clutch is opened beyond the touch point TP.
- the line marked “o” shows the wheel peripheral speed of a slip situation without the proposed method: between the time t (1) when the overlap circuit starts and the overlap circuit terminated at the time t (2), the speed of the wheel circumference decreases significantly.
- the coupling positions K1, K2 - the drive wheels will become liable to adhesion to the road surface due to a tension of the gearbox
- the extent to which the wheel speed or wheel peripheral speed drops depends on the friction coefficient of the tire / road surface friction pairing
- the wheel slip or brake slip stabilizes again only considerably after the overlap circuit has elapsed, and the wheel peripheral speed again equals the vehicle speed.
- the line marked with "x” shows a situation of an overlapping circuit with no significant slip, and the wheel circumferential speed only slightly decreases and remains above the predetermined value S 1, depending on the form of calculation of the brake slip, the Reduced speed of the driven wheel, the wheel peripheral speed can take a corresponding dimension and size and here represents a limit speed.
- the line marked with "•” shows a situation in which, as the clutch position K1 in the direction of the open clutch and the clutch position K2 in the direction of the closed clutch increase, a tensioning of the dual-clutch transmission occurs, which leads to a drop in the wheel rotational speed to the value S.
- the value S is reached and the clutch K2 is fully opened in the example shown so that it no longer transmits any torque, as can be seen from the dashed line K2 '
- it may be advantageous to additionally adjust the clutch position K1 As a result of the measures taken at clutch K2 and possibly at K1, the brake slip decreases and thus the adhesion of the drive wheels to and one in line with the markings "The dashed line K1 'so that the clutch transmits the full moment. o "corresponding dangerous situation in which the driving can fling can be avoided.
- the overlapping circuit is quit, as it were.
- the circuit is pulled through accelerated by the clutch K1 retracted to a moment zero and the clutch K2 is raised to a torque transmission, which allows the transmission of a thrust to the internal combustion engine.
- This can be particularly advantageous if an uncomfortable circuit with relatively good adhesion of the drive wheels on the road surface can be assumed.
