Abstract

 ディーゼル機関(10)は、排気後処理装置(55)より上流側の排気通路から燃料を添加可能な排気燃料添加弁(88)を備えている。ディーゼル機関(10)の制御装置であるECU(100)は、燃料中のバイオ燃料濃度を推定する機能と、排気通路における排気温度を取得する機能を有している。ECU(100)は、排気燃料添加弁(88)の作動を許可する排気温度の下限値である最低作動排気温度を、推定されたバイオ燃料濃度に応じて設定する。排気燃料添加弁(88)から添加された燃料を、バイオ燃料濃度に応じて設定された最低作動許可排気温度以上の排出ガスにおいて十分に気化させて、排気後処理装置(55)に流す。
