Abstract

 成形金型の材質の選択肢を狭めることなく、簡易な構成で偏心量の小さい光学素子を製造することができる成形金型を提供すること、及び、かかる成形金型を用いた光学素子の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。上型と、下型と、ガラス素材を加圧成形する際に上型及び下型の側面に当接する案内面を有する案内部材と、加熱による熱膨張によって上型及び下型を案内面に押圧するための膨張部材と、案内部材及び膨張部材を支持する支持部材とを有する。これらの部材のうち、膨張部材の熱膨張係数が最も大きい。膨張部材の熱膨張によって上型及び下型を案内部材に押圧した状態でガラス素材を加圧成形する。
