Abstract

 非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂をサブ・ミクロン以下の精度で精密に成形する方法及びそれにより成形される光学素子を提供する。(a)溶媒に非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂を溶解させる工程と、(b)前記非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂の溶液を第1の成形型に入れる工程と、(c)前記溶液の入った容器を加熱することにより前記溶媒を揮発させ、非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂を板状に形成する工程と、(d)前記板状に形成した非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂を第2の成形型に入れ、加熱しつつ当該第2の成形型の一方の面側から他方の面側に加圧する工程と、の各工程を有し、前記非晶質パーフルオロ樹脂を所望の形状に成形する。
