Abstract

 本発明の液晶表示装置10は、一対のガラス基板31,41の間に液晶層50を設けてなる液晶パネル11と、当該液晶パネル11に照明光を供給する照明装置12と、を含む液晶表示装置であって、前記一対のガラス基板31,41のうち少なくとも一方のガラス基板31には、輝点欠陥の原因となる輝点欠陥発生部Xを遮光可能な位置に、非架橋酸素ホールセンタを含む有色部60が形成されていることを特徴とする。
