Abstract

 運転停止動作での原料パージにおいて、変成触媒の性能劣化をより抑制することができる水素生成装置を提供する。  原料を供給する原料供給器101と、改質触媒を有し、改質触媒を用いた改質反応により原料から水素含有ガスを生成する改質器111と、変成触媒を有し、変成触媒を用いたシフト反応により水素含有ガス中の一酸化炭素を低減する変成器121と、変成触媒の温度を検出するための第1の温度検出器123と、制御器200とを備え、制御器200は、停止動作時に、第1の温度検出器123の検出温度が、原料による変成触媒の劣化が抑制される第1の閾値以下になった場合、原料により変成器121内部がパージされるよう原料供給器101を制御する、水素生成装置である。
