Abstract

シール材や封止部材の移動に伴う磨耗がないため、高い封止性能を維持しつつ、簡単な内部構造により流体の封止状態と非封止状態を切り換えて所定流量の流体を流すことができ、しかも、シール材の膨張量を外部電気信号等の量で調整し、接触面圧力を調整することによって、流体の漏れ量を高精度に制御できることであらゆる用途に利用できる軸封装置を提供すること。 本体(10)内部に設けた軸封部(15)に、電気的外部刺激を介して膨縮・変形する高分子材料製の軸封体(20)を配設すると共に、軸封部(15)には、軸封体(20)の膨縮・変形による漏れ流体を流す流路(13、14)を設けた軸封装置である。
